It's a pleasure to participate again in week 282, and with a theme as special as Brothers. I can say with certainty that I have the blessing of sharing life with the best brother possible. My great brother Ernesto. He's older than me, and even though we're separated by a sea and even though we think differently in many aspects of life, we love each other very much, and that surpasses everything. We also have wonderful parents who raised us to love and respect our family; that's our most precious possession. Es un placer volver a participar en la semana número 282, y con un tema tan especial como es Brothers. Yo puedo decir con certeza que tengo la dicha de compartir la vida con el mejor hermano posible. Mi gran hermano Ernesto. Él es mayor que yo y aunque estemos separados mar por medio y aunque pensemos diferente en varios aspectos de la vida nos queremos mucho, y eso lo supera todo. For this occasion I have chosen a song that is part of the film "Wakanda the Black Panther". "Lift Me Up" is a song performed by Rihanna whom I admire and enjoy a lot. This song speaks of the need to spend time with the loved one, to take refuge in it when things are not going very well and asks more than a momentary hug, a support. Holde Me, Holde Me, says the lyrics and it is that the singer asks for that long and sustained hug in time, that care full of tenderness and comfort that protects us and encourages us to continue and face life, knowing that we can return to that safe space. El tema de esta semana me gusta muchísimo pues me encantan los abrazos y si son de un ser muy cercano y querido mucho más. Para esta ocasión he escogido una canción que forma parte de la película "Wakanda The Black Panther". "Lift me up", es un tema interpretado por Rihanna a quien admiro y disfruto mucho. Está canción habla de la necesidad de pasar tiempo junto al ser querido, de refugiarse en él cuando las cosas no marchan del todo bien y pide más que un abrazo un momentáneo, un sostén. Holde me , holde me, dice la letra y es que la cantante pide ese abrazo largo y sostenido en el tiempo, ese cuidado lleno de ternura y comfort que nos protege y nos alienta a seguir y enfrentar la vida , sabiendo que podemos regresar a ese espacio seguro. Para el tema de la semana, después de pensar en muchas opciones, elegí este tema c que a todos nos ha hecho bailar y gozar de lo lindo. "Cachita "es una canción del emblemático músico puertorriqueño Rafael Hernández. Yo ,cómo muchos , supongo, pensaba que está canción era cubana por su ritmo y su picardía en la letra. El jibarito como también se le conoce s este autor, vivió en la Habana entre 1920 y 1925 donde trabajó cómo músico y seguramente bebió de nuestra sabia. Además de que se dice que Cuba y Puerto Rico son de un pájaro las dos alas ,y es que nos parecemos mucho, en la sabrosura, la alegría y el amor por la música. Cachita es sin dudas una canción muy alegre, contagiosa y su letra nos dice que Cachita está alborotá, y ahora baila el cha cha chá. Hoy les comparto el tema "My jolly sailor bold", una canción de marineros del siglo XVII, que fue arreglada e incluida en uno de los filmes de la saga "Piratas del Caribe". Hola amigos de esta maravillosa comunidad, deseo que se encuentren muy bien y muy activos gracias a la música. Hace un tiempo que no comparto canciones que me gustan con los amigos de Sound Music pero felizmente he vuelto. Y lo hago con una canción que me atrapó desde la primera vez que la escuché en la lista de reproducción de mi hermano. Es un tema muy sencillo pero tiene ese estilo de los años 50 que me fascina y realmente es pegajosa. Hoy les comparto una canción que me gusta mucho por el mensaje que transmite y creo que viene muy bien con el tema de la semana.
"Turbulence" de la cantante, bailarina y acróbata Pink, alguien a quien admiro mucho por su poderosa voz pero sobre todo por las letras de sus canciones y la manera en que siempre ha defendido sus creencias y estilo, pertenece al álbum de estudio Trustfull, del año 2017.
La razón por la que escogí está canción para defender el tema de la semana es su gran mensaje de fuerza ante la adversidad. Todas las trabas, las "turbulencias", los altibajos de la vida,las montañas en medio del camino que puede afrontar una pareja, pero que si se aferran el uno al otro, si están conscientes de que todo eso es pasajero y que después saldrán aún más fuertes, más unidos, me hizo decidirme por ella.
Es un tema sin grandes demandas vocales pero que te seduce por su mensaje,por cómo dice cosas tan vitales para la vida de una manera tan sencilla y por tanto bella.
Espero que disfruten de su fin de semana y que las canciones que traemos a esta comunidad nos llenen de emociones para aprender y disfrutar juntos. Bendiciones miles.
