Today (on 2025.12.25) I cooked Arepas (Venezuelan food) for the second time.

The first time was a few days ago.

I have not written a blog post in the recent past.

I still live on Tenerife.

I live in an apartment since 2025.11.27.

I will write blog posts in the next few days.

We have more and more tomatoes in the rocky semi-desert (2024.04.21)

We have more and more tomatoes in the rocky semi-desert. Regular, proper watering is bringing results.

Probably we will plant more tomatoes in the near future.

I am making QSOs (radioamateur contacts) again after a long time.
The last time I made a QSO was on 2023.03.03.
Today (on 2023.09.02) evening I made a QSO with M0MNM Paul from Stockport (IO83vk), England on 18.125 MHz.
I am currently in Budapest (JN97LK), Hungary.
The distance is approximately 1632 km.

My transceiver: Yaesu FT-450D.
Antenna: Dipole, approximately six or seven meters above the groud.
TX Power: 100 Watt.

Another video about my lost falcon from 10 days ago (on 2023.07.23) (2023.08.02)

Today is 2023.08.02. I recorded this video about my falcon 10 days ago (on 2023.07.23).

In this video I feed my falcon. On my hand. I mean literally on my hand. On my bare hand. And not on a glove. Of course my falcon scratched my hand, but I do not mind.

His beak is too long in the video. I trimmed his beak one day later after I recorded this video (on 2023.07.24).
He disappeared (flown away) three days later after I recorded this video (in the morning of 2023.07.26).

I am constantly looking for him since then, but I have not seen him so far, and I have not heard about him so far.
Of course I notified the officials about the disappearance of my falcon.
The ring number of my falcon is Las Lagunas 17 HPB.
I really hope that my falcon will be found.

By the way, I also hand fed him. So he took the meat directly from my hand. But I have not recorded that on video. This is the only feeding video I recorded about him.

Today is 2023.08.01. I recorded this video about my falcon 10 days ago (on 2023.07.22).
I am sittting with him in the Parc Nou, El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain.
You can hear and see in the video that kids are shouting and playing football in the background.
My falcon seemingly calmly sat on my arm.
He even closes one of his eyes.
