Sharing this calm and peaceful staycation experience we had together with my friends in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato in Mindanao, Philippines.
When we had our hiking and camping at the neighboring town, we did a side trip to Lake Sebu and stayed here. If you are someone like me, who would love to be closed to nature and enjoy the serenity of the mountains, green fresh planst swaying through the air and the chirping sounds of the birds, this is place is also for you!

We initially planned to stay in a "Gono" a local term for a big house of the T'boli, the tribal name of the people living on this community, however the management was very kind to transfer us to a Villa on the next day. We do both experience staying on a Gono which is so traditional, and staying on a Villa which is so modern and comfortable. On the villa, we had a private swimming pool that my friends really enjoyed dipping to after our strolls in the town of Lake Sebu.
The overall experience on this mountain resort is absolutely wonderful!

Now, let me share to your scenic stroll to Alamada Coco's Funville with my family during our trip to the mountainous town of Alamada. Being situated on top of the mountains, it has a cool weather and scenic view of the neighboring mountain ranges with giving a curvy horizon. They have a lot of farm animals also that we enjoyed watching during our stroll in here.

It is just so relaxing in here!

Sharing this enchanting Asik-asik falls nestled in the mountains of Alamada in Mindanao, Philippines.
What's even interesting on this curtain waterfalls is it doesn't came from a river stream but from the mountains themselves.
These ground water, locally known as "tubod" creates the waterfalls and the river of Alamada that also serves as water source of the farm on the community.

We hiked for around 10 to 15mins to get in here, the trail is pretty easy as the locals already installed man-made stairs for accessibility to the falls basin and river.

Sharing you this beautiful video of the stunning mountain ridges of the southern part of the Philippines, in Sultan Kudarat in Mindanao.

I am personally emotionally invested on the movie Kimi no Na wa / Your Name that I have planned to visit the real-life locations of the movie given the opportunity to visit Japan for a trip, and we did make it possible! 🥹

Am still so overwhelmed that we did it! Amidst the time constraints, specially when visiting to Tateishi Park to watch the sunset with the Lake Suwa, catching up both our breaths and the golden hour trekking to the park on the mountain top. Thanks to Nihon’s longer day, the sun sets so slowly that we have caught up the magical part of the day of Suwa.

I just celebrated my birthday last month- February 25, when I got the chance to celebrate it in a way that I want: traveling. Nevertheless, it came in an unexpected way. I just shared a post in my Facebook wall saying " For my Birthday this year I only accept Travel" never thought Frabs will grant it!

Frabs and I were exes, we were together last 2017 but our relationship last for only a year. However, we were still friends even after our relationship ended, and what we had lasted through time until we reached to the point of last year that I can say our friendship relationship progressed into something special (again). And by this year, we made it official to the public (family and friends) that we were coming back together after sharing this trip that he gifted me for my birthday.

This trip was very surprising and special, a milestone in its way, so I wanna share this to all of you here in Hive, in 3speak, as aside from a celebration, I also made it in a way that future travelers can learn some ideas on how to explore Hong Kong in just 4 days.

Chungking Mansion is very accessible to tourists and visitors as it is only across Tsim Sha Tsui station. When strolling around going to Victoria Harbour, every can definitely pass by on the area.

After the fluvial parade, we headed back to Talisay City where the ancestral house of the Aznars- a well known family in Cebu, is located and still standing through time.
The Aznar family owns a university in the City, where I graduated, and several companies across the country and even nursing home in the US. But aside from a tycoon family, they are also into sports and watersports whom the young generations are so into it.

As someone who are into watersports, they also owns speedboats and jetskis where they used in participating in the fluvial parade. It was the teens who played along the 5 jetskis into the water, and the titos and the titas for the 2 speedboats to be participated on the said event.

It was fun! Specially on the part when we headed home and the tito literally speeded the boat into the coasts of Cebu. Sometimes, we were almost out of our seats and found our butts dancing up away as we hit the big waves coming from the other boats, lol! It was fun and an amazing experience.

Sharing this first time experience of mine to actually join the fluvial parade in the water on my own city- Cebu City Philippinesas we celebrate the Sinulog Festival. On the previous years, I am only one of the crowd witnessing the goosebumping tradition in the bay of Cebu.

Sinulog Festival is a celebration in Cebu to honor the holy child- Snr. Sto. Niño. As a catholic and a devotee, we begin the feast on a fluvial parade, aside from the 9-days novena-mass, commemorating the arrival of Christianity of the Cebuanos (people of Cebu) when a relic of the holy child was found in a shore of Cebu.
Then, a parade on the street and holy masses then follows on the succeeding day, and of course, the party on the streets. Sinulog is one of the grandest and very-known festival out of the many festivals in the Philippines.

The experience was fun and fulfilling specially when I got to tried it on a speedboat with my cousin and the family of her husband. I have come to see the beauty of Cebu in the waters, we were sailing through the sea of Talisay City down to SRP and to the Piers. The seawater was just so calm and pretty that morning, complimenting well with the sunrise and the CCLEX bridge.

I have finally got the time to edit and share our Family Christmas party dump here in 3Speak.
We, FIlipinos value the essence of Christmas and strong family ties, and through the great bond and connection we have with our big clan, we got to enjoy and celebrate the holiday season together with fun and camaraderie.

We call our family as TalCian, a derivation from our grandparents nickname Talina and Ciano, whom have 12 offspring, isn't it big enough to create this big fam? lol.

When we gather up together, there are so much chaos, lol, the kind of chaos that we all are loving.

I was used to enjoy island hopping activities as a person who lives in Cebu with many islets around its mother island. However, I can’t still help it but still be mesmerized by the islands of Siargao.

Guyam Island is very similar to Tulang Diot island of Camotes Island, still under Cebu’s group of islets, as we are still arriving to the island everyone in the pump boat agrees with me.

Naked Island is a unique one of its kind. The island is literally naked, it has nothing in there but itself, no trees and anything.

Daku Island is the last island we visited and lingered on before we head back to Siargao main island. It is the island that has a small community on it.

Showcasing the beauty of Daku Island on this video from some drone footages I took in the island. “Daku” is a Siargao dialect which means Big, the opposite of Guyam Island of Siargao which “Guyam” means Small.

We traveled from Cebu to Siargao Island to celebrate and experience Siargao Island, which we learn and tried surfing for the very first time. It was such a fun and challenging experience we had, that everyone want to try surfing again on the next visit to the island- Yes! we’re coming back soon 😍

We also tried the Island Hopping activity which took us to Guyam Island , Secret Island, and Daku Island or Siargao.

I am traveling with my friends including @iamcjestrada , @ybanezkim26, and @kevincredible celebrating the birthday of CJ and Chiarra. On the very first day we arrived in the island, we immediately experienced Surfing at Cloud 9, the ever famous surfing spot in Siargao.

This one is a cool and fun experience! Which I never expect surfing would be an easy yet challenging sports to learn with. I wiuld definitely come back in this island for more.
