Putri Pukes Cave is one of the historical and legendary tourist sites located in Takengon, Central Aceh. This cave holds a tragic story that has been passed down from generation to generation by the local community, making it a place full of mystery and full of cultural value.

Putri Pukes Cave is located in Mendale Village, about 7 km from the city center of Takengon, Central Aceh. The location can be reached by two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles, and the journey to the cave offers beautiful natural scenery with green hills and Lake Laut Tawar stretching around it.

The legend that surrounds this cave tells of a princess who experienced a tragic fate due to an oath that forbade her from looking back when leaving her hometown to marry a prince from another region. On the way, her longing for her homeland was so strong that she could not restrain herself and finally looked back. Immediately, she was cursed to become a stone in the cave.

The local community believes that the stone in the cave is the embodiment of Princess Pukes who was petrified because of the curse. In fact, there is a belief that this stone often looks wet as if it is crying, adding to the mystical aura of this place.

The large stone inside the cave which is believed to be the figure of Princess Pukes is the main attraction. This stone often looks damp, which is believed to be the tears of the princess who continues to cry over her fate.

This cave has a fairly quiet and sacred atmosphere. Many visitors come with a sense of curiosity while feeling a strong mystical aura.

Putri Pukes Cave is not just a tourist spot, but also part of the culture and history of the Gayo people in Central Aceh. The story is part of the oral heritage that continues to be told from generation to generation, enriching the local culture.

For those of you who are interested in history, legends, and natural exploration, Goa Putri Pukes is a destination worth visiting to experience the mystical nuances and natural beauty of Central Aceh firsthand.
Thanks for watching, and see you again of the next video...

The story of Prophet Zulkarnain is mentioned in the Qur'an, especially in Surah Al-Kahfi (18:83-98). However, the Qur'an does not specifically mention the geographical locations that Zulkarnain passed through on his journey. Some historians and commentators argue that Zulkarnain's journey covered a wide area, but there is no concrete evidence that directly links him to Central Aceh or the surrounding areas.

In Indonesia, especially in Aceh, there are several folk tales that link the arrival of great figures such as Zulkarnain to their region. However, these are more of local legends than historical facts that can be proven.

To prove this story scientifically, further historical and archaeological research should be conducted.
And if you have an opinion from another side, please put it in the comments, maybe it will be a beautiful reference to prove further history. Thanks...

Despite undergoing many changes, the Gayo people have successfully preserved their identity and culture, making them one of Indonesia's ethnic groups with a rich historical and cultural heritage.

Archaeological research conducted at Loyang Mendale, located on the shores of Lake Laut Tawar in Central Aceh Regency, has been a significant focus of archaeological studies. Since 2009, the Balai Arkeologi (Balar) Medan, under the leadership of Dr. Ketut Wiradnyana, has carried out a series of excavations at this site. These studies have uncovered various important discoveries, providing deep insights into prehistoric life in Tanah Gayo.

Universitas Negeri Medan has also played an active role in research at Loyang Mendale. One of the studies conducted focuses on utilizing the site as a historical resource, emphasizing its importance in providing contextual understanding of local history and culture.

Archaeological research at Loyang Mendale not only sheds light on aspects of prehistoric life in Tanah Gayo but also makes a significant contribution to understanding migration history and cultural interactions in Sumatra. These findings enrich Indonesia's historical heritage and serve as a foundation for the preservation and development of cultural heritage in the region.

For more detailed information, you can visit Universitas Negeri Medan or Balai Arkeologi Medan, which offer various publications and reports related to research at Loyang Mendale and the historical traces of Tanah Gayo.

On our trip this time we visited the Seven Caves which are full of mystery and legendary stories that have been consumed by the Acehnese people en masse from generation to generation.

The Seven Caves in Laweung, Pidie Jaya, are one of the places in Aceh that are full of mystical stories and local legends.

Its location is in the Muara Tiga District, Pidie Jaya, and is a special attraction, not only because of its natural beauty but also because of the mystery that surrounds it.

On the one hand, the name "Seven Caves" is believed to come from the number of cave passages or entrances, which are said to be seven.

On the other hand, one of the cave passages is believed to have a very long path and even has no end. Some believe that this passage can take someone to another dimension or an unknown place.

Some stories say that people who go too far into the cave without a guide can get lost and have difficulty finding their way out.
Dah, gitu aja...

Kilometer Zero is the westernmost point of Indonesia, a place full of historical and symbolic value. The journey there presents stunning natural scenery, from lush forests to enchanting beaches.

We will show you the Kilometer Zero landmark, explain its history and significance to the Indonesian nation, and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding Weh Island. Witness the extraordinary natural beauty of this westernmost part of the archipelago, and feel the patriotic atmosphere as you set foot on the starting point of Indonesia's distance calculations.

This monument is located at the western tip of Weh Island, Sabang, Aceh, and is a symbol of the beginning of the Republic of Indonesia from the west side. Kilometer Zero is a reference point for calculating the distance from Sabang to Merauke, which is often referred to as a symbol of the integrity of the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. In addition to being a geographical landmark, this monument also has a nationalistic meaning because it marks the furthest boundary of the Nusantara region.*Nusatara region.

The Kilometer Zero Monument was first built during the era of President Soeharto. Its construction began in 1997 and was completed in 1997 as well. However, this monument has continued to undergo renovations until now. In 1997, the Garuda Pancasila statue was added to the top of the monument's pillar, symbolizing the strength and sovereignty of Indonesia.

This monument has a distinctive architectural form with tall pillars and the national symbol Garuda Pancasila at the top. At the bottom, there is an inscription signed by Vice President Try Sutrisno on September 9, 1997. This monument stands on a cliff facing the Indian Ocean, providing a calming yet meaningful atmosphere.

In 1997, the monument was first inaugurated, but the government continues to renovate and develop the surrounding area to make it more attractive to tourists. In addition to being a historical tourist location, this monument is also a popular spot for tourists who want to enjoy the beautiful scenery and capture moments at the westernmost point of Indonesia.

In addition to being a geographical marker, the Kilometer Zero Monument is often considered a symbol of national unity. The phrase "From Sabang to Merauke" reflects the vastness of Indonesia's territory, and the Kilometer Zero Monument marks one end of it. For many tourists and locals, visiting this place is often interpreted as a form of love for the homeland and awareness of the vastness of Indonesia's territory.

The Zero Kilometer Monument of Indonesia is not only a geographical point marker, but also a symbol of the spirit of national unity.
Of course there will be a sense of curiosity about every beautiful place that we have never explored, even places that we have explored, we want to know more about that place.

Well, I often experience that kind of curiosity, so I want to shift a little information from the general to the specific, such as the tourist destination of Sabang Island, of course we all know that this island is a favorite place for tourists to visit, but have people ever discussed that "Sabang" is a collection of other islands there?, because in Sabang there is also Kreung Raya Island, Klah Island, even the spectacular Rubiah Island as the most favorite snorkeling area in Sabang.

In this video I want to show you all the snorkeling areas on Rubiah Island. This is the main snorkeling area around Rubiah Island. The water is very clear with beautiful coral reefs and various types of colorful fish. You can see various species of tropical fish, starfish, and sometimes turtles.

On this beach, many visitors start snorkeling activities because of its easy access and direct access to the water area rich in marine life. The depth near the beach is relatively shallow, suitable for beginners. Many choose to snorkel near the pier because of the calm currents and the presence of coral reefs and small fish that are easily accessible from here.

Meanwhile, on the west side of the island, there are deeper snorkeling spots and often have larger coral reefs and more diverse fish, although the currents can be a little stronger. Snorkeling activities on Rubiah Island are generally carried out with local guides who are very experienced, so you can enjoy the beauty of the underwater world safely.

In this video I want to show how the tradition in Aceh when celebrating Indonesia's 79th Independence Day, carnival parades with performances of various creative costumes, traditional costumes, or even pedicabs decorated in such a way that they resemble military vehicles, namely "TANK", and there are also those who wear clothes that resemble certain figures.

The carnival parade commemorating the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia is a lively and colorful annual event. Usually, this parade is held on August 17 to celebrate the independence day. In this carnival, various community groups, schools, government agencies, and other organizations participate by presenting various attractions.

Each participant usually wears traditional clothing from various regions in Indonesia, creative costumes that reflect a certain theme, or uniforms that depict their profession or group identity. In addition, the parade is also accompanied by various performances such as traditional dances, regional music, and drum bands.

The floats decorated with various ornaments and colorful flowers are also the main attraction in this carnival. Some floats even depict miniatures of historical buildings, culture, or themes of the struggle for independence.

The people who watched the parade filled the streets with enthusiasm, giving applause and cheers to the participants. The atmosphere became very lively with the sound of music, shouts of encouragement, and colorful costumes and decorations that filled the streets.

This carnival parade is not only a moment to celebrate independence, but also to show the diversity of Indonesian culture and strengthen national unity. Hopefully this video can entertain you all, thanks for whatching.....!
