It’s nothing new; I’ve spent the last few months dedicated to playing Yakuza and mainly single-player games. I hadn’t played Fortnite since the beginning of the current season. I came from actively playing the previous one, so despite the additions like expanded parkour or the Japanese theme, which are AWESOME, I decided to take a break to prepare for Hatsune Miku’s arrival in Fortnite. And now that we’re just one day away from her debut, I think it’s time to return.

This time, I decided to record a small video to accompany this post, and I must be honest—I initially thought about simply recording the match I won, uploading it, and commenting on it. But what started as a fun little idea at 3 a.m. ended up becoming a few hours of editing for a video whose result I really liked, I must say. I’m happy with my editing considering the time it took, and I hope you enjoy it too.

Instead of playing on the season’s main map, I wanted to win my first match of the year in Fortnite’s OG mode, specifically in Zero-Build mode. Personally, I never learned how to build and enjoy the no-build mode much more—it’s the one I’ve been playing since I started in 2022.

I have to admit that despite playing for so long (around 600 hours), I’m not as good as you might think. I see myself as a fairly average player. I play casually and just to pass the time, but I have a lot of fun this way, and it’s unlikely that will change haha. I think I’ve found a fun game where I can jump in for a while and forget about life’s problems.

Because of that, it’s rare for me to win matches. I usually collect about 4 crowns per season, and my record is 8 if I remember correctly, but that’s enough for me. During the matches in the video, I came across a lot of players using the skins given away during December. Thus, it was almost guaranteed that seeing someone with those skins meant assuming they weren’t a bot and fearing for my life, haha. But in the end, I managed to redeem myself against the Christmas Snoop Doggs and won a match, my first of the year, which was my main goal.

In the end, everything went well. I got my victory, and as soon as tomorrow, Hatsune Miku will arrive in the game. Now all that’s left is to wait and hope that PLEASE they give her a concert like what happened with the Fortnite Remix season finale. But only time will tell.

No es nada nuevo, llevo los últimos meses dedicada a jugar Yakuza y principalmente juegos single-player, no había jugado Fortnite desde los inicios de la temporada actual, ya venía de jugar activamente a la anterior así que a pesar de las adiciones como el parkour expandido o la temática japonesa que están GENIALES, quise darme un descanso para prepararme para la llegada de Hatsune Miku a Fortnite, y ahora que estamos a tan solo un día de su llegada, creo que va siendo hora de volver.

Esta vez decidí grabar un pequeño video que acompaña este post, y debo ser sincera, pensaba simplemente grabar la partida que ganara, subirla y comentarla, pero lo que empezó como una idea simpática de esas que te surgen a las 3 am, terminó convirtiéndose en unas cuantas horas de edición para un video cuyo resultado me gustó bastante debo decir, estoy conforme con mi edición en comparación al tiempo que me llevó, y espero lo disfruten igualmente.

En lugar de jugar en el mapa principal de la temporada quise ganar mi primera partida del año en el modo OG del Fortnite, específicamente el modo Zero-Build pues personalmente nunca aprendí a construir y disfruto mucho más el modo sin construcción, es el que he jugado desde que empecé en 2022.

Tengo que reconocer que a pesar de tener tanto tiempo jugando (unas 600 horas) no soy tan buena como podrían considerar, me visualizo como una jugadora bastante promedio, juego de forma casual y para pasar el rato, pero me divierto mucho de esta forma y es complicado que eso cambie haha, considero que encontré un juego divertido en el que puedo entrar un rato y olvidarme de los problemas de la vida.

Por ello, es raro cuando gano partidas, generalmente acumulo unas 4 coronas por temporada, y mi record son 8 si no recuerdo mal, pero es suficiente para mi. Durante las partidas del video, me encontré un montón de jugadores usando las skins que regalaron durante diciembre y por ende era casi seguro asegurar que ver a alguien con esas skins era asumir que no eran un bot y temer por mi vida haha, pero al final pude redimirme contra los Snoop Doggs navideños y gané una partida, la primera de este año, lo cual era mi meta principal.

Al final todo salió bien, yo obtuve mi victoria y tan pronto como mañana Hatsune Miku llegará al juego, solo queda esperar y esperar que POR FAVOR le hagan un concierto como ocurrió con el final de temporada del Fortnite Remix, pero solo el tiempo dirá.

I took my time, but finally decided to record the last part of the incredible game that is Shovel Knight, specifically its original campaign, Shovel of Hope, where our hero skilled in the art of the shovel must defeat the Order of No Quarter to confront the Enchantress and rescue his adventure companion, Shield Knight.

This time, I only needed to defeat Propeller Knight, the last member of the order on my list before embarking on the journey to the Tower of Fate, the place where Shield Knight disappeared at the beginning of the adventure, and where we will return as Shovel Knight to change destiny and defeat the seemingly unbeatable.

I am surprised that it took me almost an hour for this game journey because in my mind it was much less, but the important thing is that it was quite fun and I had a great time finishing the game, it has always been a challenging and particularly treacherous platformer to me, as there are enemies positioned to make your life much more difficult, and now that I have finished it, I still have the New Game+ left, where I keep all the gear, upgrades, and everything I have obtained in my first playthrough, but with more damage and fewer checkpoints, an experience that I will return to because my goal is to platinum the game sooner or later, however, I do not plan to focus on it now, but I will think about what will be the next game that I will bring to you as a gameplay, I have plenty to choose from so you won't have to wait long to find out.

Me tomé mi tiempo, pero finalmente me decidí a grabar la última parte del increíble juego que es Shovel Knight, específicamente su campaña original, Shovel of Hope, donde nuestro héroe especializado en el arte de la pala debe derrotar a la Orden sin Cuartel para enfrentar a la Hechicera y así rescatar a su compañera de aventuras, Shield Knight.

En esta ocasión, solo me faltaba vencer a Propeller Knight, último miembro de la orden en mi lista antes de emprender el viaje hacia la Torre del Hado, lugar donde Shield Knight desapareció al inicio de la aventura, y al cual volveremos como Shovel Knight para cambiar el destino y vencer a quien parece invencible.

Me sorprende que me tomara casi una hora este trayecto del juego pues en mi mente faltaba mucho menos, pero lo importante es que fue bastante divertido y me la pasé muy bien terminando el juego, siempre se me ha hecho un plataformero desafiante y particularmente traicionero, pues hay enemigos posicionados para hacerte la vida mucho más difícil, y eso que ahora que lo he terminado todavía me falta el New Game, donde conservo todo el equipo, mejoras y en general todo lo que he obtenido en mi primera partida, pero sufriendo más daño y con menos puntos de control, una experiencia a la cual volveré porque mi idea es platinar el juego tarde o temprano, eso sí, no planeo dedicarme a ello ahora, sino que pensaré en cuál será el siguiente juego que les traeré a modo de gameplay, tengo mucho de dónde escoger así que no tardarán mucho en saberlo.

It's been quite busy days, sometimes adult life consumes us and there's no choice but to work without further delay, but in the end, there is always time to play a little, and that's when I decide to bring you content. And what better way to brighten up the soul than with a platform game? That's why today I'm back once again with Shovel Knight, picking up where we left off last time, and this time, with a voice!

Up until now, I had decided to upload my Shovel Knight videos without commentary, but let's say I got a little bored and preferred to give it the VTuber treatment. That's why during this chapter and the following ones, I'll be using my avatar and voice again! I hope you like it.

But let's talk about the game itself, as this time we defeated 2 more knights from the no quarter order, Thinker Knight and Polar Knight, two formidable enemies for different reasons, each has their strengths and weaknesses, and there is no doubt that their levels are among the most challenging in the game, nothing to underestimate them for, and in fact, you will see that in Thinker Knight's level I had to repeat the same section several times because of some very annoying flying rockets, but it was finally achieved.

Han sido días bastante ocupados, a veces la vida adulta nos consume y no queda de otra que trabajar sin más, pero al final siempre hay tiempo para jugar un poco y es ahí cuando me decido a traerles contenido, ¿y qué mejor que un juego de plataformas para alegrar un poco el alma?, es por eso que hoy regreso una vez más con Shovel Knight, continuamos donde lo dejamos la vez anterior, y esta vez ¡con voz!

Hasta el momento había decidido subir mis videos de Shovel Knight sin comentar, pero digamos que me aburrí un poco y preferí darle el tratamiento de VTuber, es por eso que durante este capítulo y los siguientes volveré a usar mi avatar y usar mi voz, espero les agrade.

Pero hablemos del juego en sí, pues en esta ocasión derrotamos a 2 caballeros más de la orden sin cuartel, Thinker Knight y Polar Knight, dos enemigos formidables por motivos diferentes, cada uno tiene sus fortalezas y debilidades, y no hay duda en que sus niveles son de los más complicados del juego, nada por lo cual subestimarlos, y de hecho, verán que en el nivel de Thinker Knight tuve que repetir la misma sección varias veces por unos cohetes voladores bastante molestos, pero finalmente se logró.

Por tiempo preferí dejar fuera el nivel de Propeller Knight, pero será lo primero que hagamos en la siguiente parte, junto con lo que seguramente sea el final del juego, pero por el momento disfruten esta parte, espero les guste y muchas gracias por ver, nos vemos por ahí, bye bye!

Every so often, the typical game emerges that goes viral among content creators, during the past few years it has been a consistent trend with "horror" video games, Poppy Playtime, Hello Neighbor, Bendy and the Ink Machine, the 400 FNAF fan games and derivatives, and many others that apparently are finally dwindling (or not).

Today I come with something somewhat different, it doesn't aim for horror but has a rather dark design, it's about Buckshot Roulette, a game that has been on sale for a few months but has now officially released on Steam with new features and a multiplayer mode that will arrive sooner rather than later, but for now, you have to settle for playing against the AI.

The concept is "simple", 99% of the game takes place on a table where we compete against a dealer, the objective? to beat them at roulette. Both you and the dealer will risk your lives by pointing a shotgun loaded with bullets and blanks at your heads, if a blank is drawn, great, if you get the real bullet, you better start the game over.

So, it's not so drastic because you have "charges", you can withstand multiple shots before losing definitively and there are also items that can heal you halfway through a round and buy you some time, as well as other items to spice up the game, like a saw that doubles the damage of shots, a magnifying glass to know which shot is in the chamber, or handcuffs, to earn an extra turn.

The game progresses through three rounds, win the third one and the briefcase full of cash is yours, and you even get the shotgun as a bonus gift, so it doesn't sound like a bad deal, right?

I actually feel that Buckshot Roulette is a game with a lot of potential, I hope it continues to be updated beyond its multiplayer mode, it seems like the creator intends to keep adding secrets with each update, such as not being able to write "GOD" in the disclaimer, I'm sure it will cause something later, I really have no idea, but I'm excited to see it.

Cada cierto tiempo surge el típico juego que se viraliza entre creadores de contenido, durante los últimos años ha sido una constante con los videojuegos de “terror”, Poppy Playtime, Hello Neighbor, Bendy and the Ink Machine, los 400 fangames de FNAF y derivados, y un largo etcétera que al parecer, finalmente está mermando (o no).

Hoy vengo con algo un tanto diferente, no apunta al terror pero sí tiene un diseño bastante oscuro, se trata del Buckshot Roulette, un juego que está a la venta desde hace unos meses pero ahora ha salido oficialmente en Steam con cosas nuevas y un modo multijugador que llegará más pronto que tarde, pero de momento, hay que conformarse con jugar en contra de la IA.

El concepto es “sencillo”, el 99% del juego transcurre en una mesa donde competimos en contra de un dealer, el objetivo? ganarle en la ruleta. Tanto tú como el dealer arriesgarán su vida disparándose una escopeta con balas y fogueos a la cabeza, si sale un fogueo, excelente, si te toca la bala de verdad, mejor ve reiniciando la partida.

A ver, no es tan drástico pues tienes “cargas”, puedes soportar varios disparos antes de perder definitivamente e igualmente hay objetos que sirven para curarte en media ronda y así aguantar un poco más, así como otros items para darle un poco de sazón al juego, como una sierra que hace que el disparo haga el doble de daño, una lupa para saber cuál es el disparo que está en la recámara, o unas esposas, para ganarte un turno extra.

El juego avanza a través de tres rondas, gana la tercera y el maletín lleno de billetes es tuyo, y te llevas la escopeta de regalo de paso, así que no suena como un mal trato, ¿cierto?

La verdad es que siento que Buckshot Roulette es un juego con mucho potencial, espero que se siga actualizando más allá de su modo multijugador, da la impresión de que el creador pretende ir agregando secretos con cada update, como el que no puedas escribir “GOD” en el rechazo de responsabilidad, estoy segura de que algo ocasionará luego, la verdad es que no tengo idea, pero estoy emocionada de verlo.

There are games that we don't fully understand why, but they are a true addiction, many can come to mind, CoD, Stardew Valley, Monster Hunter, Candy Crush, whatever, no matter the genre and no matter what your tastes are, there will always be a game that we really like and that makes us want to spend hours and hours whenever life allows us to.

I have experienced that with a game that I have already talked about before, but this time I bring you a gameplay of an average run where I try to reach a specific level, if the title is not obvious, I am referring to Vampire Survivors, which is currently my favorite game to have on my phone, and probably the best game you can have on a mobile device, there is always something to do and the runs can last just enough for you to have a little free time.

In the gameplay you can see how simple the game is at least at a mechanical level, you don't need to aim your attacks, just move and the game will do the rest, every certain experience you will level up and you can choose another item that will help you in your run, in my case I activated the "Mirror" option that triples the enemies' HP and that's why it becomes so difficult to eliminate some enemies.

The game was recently updated with a new map, which I can't show in the gameplay, but in case you are interested in playing, it continues to be constantly updated and there must be another update around the corner, the studio's plans include implementing online cooperative play, so if playing alone is already fun, imagine with friends (although for now it already has local multiplayer on the same device or through Steam Remote Play).

Hay juegos que no entendemos del todo por qué, pero son un verdadero vicio, muchos les pueden venir a la mente, el CoD, el Stardew Valley, Monster Hunter, Candy Crush, lo que sea, no importa el género y no importa cuáles sean tus gustos, siempre habrá un juego que nos guste mucho y nos de ganas de pasar horas y horas siempre que la vida nos lo permita.

Yo he pasado eso con un juego del que ya hablé en su momento, pero esta vez les traigo un gameplay de una partida promedio donde intento alcanzar un nivel específico, por si el título no es obvio, me refiero al Vampire Survivors, el que actualmente es mi juego favorito para tener en el celular, y probablemente el mejor juego que puedes tener en un dispositivo móvil, siempre hay algo para hacer y las partidas pueden durar lo justo para que te alcance un ratito libre.

En el gameplay podrán ver lo sencillo que es el juego al menos a nivel mecánico, no necesitas apuntar tus ataques, simplemente moverte y el juego hará el resto, cada cierta experiencia subirás de nivel y puedes escoger otro objeto que te ayudará en tu run, en mi caso activé la opción de “Reflejo” que triplica la vida de los enemigos y por eso se hace tan difícil eliminar algunos enemigos.

El juego fue actualizado recientemente con un nuevo mapa, el cual no logro enseñar en el gameplay, pero por si les interesa jugando se sigue actualizando constantemente y ha de tener otra actualización a la vuelta, en los planes del estudio está implementar el cooperativo en línea, así que si jugando solo ya es divertido, imaginen con amigos (aunque de momento ya tiene un multijugador local en el mismo dispositivo o a través de Steam Remote Play).

There are many games that are unable to tire me regardless of how much I play them, and evidently Monster Hunter World is one of those games, which for me is the best installment to date (although I have yet to play others from the classic series) has not found a way to bore me despite having played for over 700 hours. This time, I wanted to bring you a video of one of the game's strongest monsters, usually the one that takes the longest to defeat, Fatalis.

Fatalis is a black dragon that has existed since the first generation of Monster Hunter, one of the greatest challenges that any hunter can face, and boy, it was not easy to learn Fatalis' patterns and attacks before starting to face it in a more or less competent way, but the experience is very satisfying.

I didn't include it in the video, so I will take this opportunity to share my build in the post in case any of you play Monster Hunter World and want to know my build, which in broad terms is a mix of Fatalis Great Sword with Velkhana Y+ (Gamma) armor, using this armor is basically wearing the best possible armor for someone using Great Sword, as for the jewels, I will be leaving them in an image below.

This is a "Freestyle" run, but recently I have decided to base my attempts on the official rules for speedrunning Monster Hunter World, where I must apply several restrictions, but in this case I didn't want to tryhard too much and simply bring you some Monster Hunter content.

Hay muchos juegos que son incapaces de saturarme indiferentemente de cuánto los juegue, y evidentemente Monster Hunter World es uno de esos juegos, el que para mi es la mejor entrega hasta la fecha (aunque tengo que jugar otros de los clásicos) no ha encontrado la forma de cansarme a pesar de que ya llevo más de 700 horas, en esta ocasión, quise traerles un video de uno de los monstruos más fuertes del juego, normalmente el que más tiempo se tarda en derrotar, el Fatalis.

Fatalis es un dragón negro que existe desde la primera generación de Monster Hunter, uno de los mayores retos que todo cazador puede afrontar, y vaya que no fue fácil aprender los patrones y ataques del Fatalis antes de empezar a enfrentarlo de una forma más o menos competente, pero la experiencia es muy satisfactoria.

No lo dejé en el video, así que aprovecharé para dejarles mi build en el post por si alguno de ustedes juega Monster Hunter World y desea conocer mi build, que a grandes rasgos es una mezcla de Gran Espada de Fatalis con armadura de Velkhana Y+ (Gamma), utilizar esta armadura es básicamente llevar la mejor armadura posible para alguien que lleva Gran Espada, en cuanto a las joyas, la estaré dejando en una imagen aquí abajo.

Esta es una run “Freestyle”, pero recientemente he empezado a basar mis intentos en las reglas oficiales para hacer speedrun de Monster Hunter World, donde debo aplica varias restricciones, pero en este caso no quería tryhardear demasiado y simplemente traerles algo de Monster Hunter.

This is a special post, or rather, the special one should have been the previous one, since according to what I could see it is my post number 500, a figure that has taken me years to reach and that although I have not been active day after day as in the past, I consider myself proud of having achieved it, but in the end it is just a number, it does not represent much but I will take advantage of this being my post #501 to make a few changes of image, perhaps you will notice, perhaps not, but it will be a new stage at least for me and I am excited to embark on it here with you, but enough lovey-dovely stuff, let's go to what we came for.

There are horror games, and "horror" games, those that instead of scaring you end up causing a fit of laughter in the worst case, and that is precisely what I am going to talk to you about today, let's talk about Lethal Company.

First of all, I've recorded gameplay, so if you want to see it there, it's available above, but I'll still talk about the game so you can understand how it works. You can play it alone or with others, but the beauty of the game is that 4 people play, it's the maximum that allows if we don't count a mod to increase the maximum number of players to 20, a real madness.

Lethal Company puts us in the shoes of scrap collectors who work for "The Company", and that's it, we have a debt that expires in a few days, and for that we have to collect valuable objects on several planets to sell them to "The Company" and thus settle our debt and live one more day... literally.

What happens if we don't pay the debt?, Well, I think the name of the game makes it quite clear, it will be the Company itself that will be in charge of throwing us into space and cutting off our vital supply, so it is in our best interest to do our job if we want to progress. In part it reminds me a bit of Phasmophobia because with the money you get in addition to paying your debt you can buy tools that will make your task easier during your explorations like flashlights or walkie-talkies, but you have to think carefully about how to spend the money because some things are expensive and the worst part is that you can lose them if the player who is carrying them dies and no one picks them up.

Once on a planet, the idea is to start exploring to find the "base" of that planet and therefore the place where most of the junk will be, not to mention all of it because so far I have not seen junk outside the base on any planet, but valuable objects, like a beehive that you can take and sell, if you manage to escape without being killed by the bees, I do not recommend it.

During your exploration, different types of creatures will appear, some harmless and others not so much, it is these latter ones that will make everything difficult for you since they are the main cause of death within the game, alien dogs, monsters with tentacles, slimes and a not so long etcetera will make your life impossible, you could complain about the variety of enemies but we are talking about a game in Early Access state, so I have legitimate fear of how the full version of Lethal Company will be.

Each player can carry a maximum of 4 items and only one very large that limits your mobility and ability to carry more things, it will also be harder to run and if they start chasing you it's better to drop what you are carrying and run away, so it is also important to control your stamina, in general anything that helps you survive will come in handy.

In conclusion, Lethal Company is a great game, but its strength is in multiplayer, if you have two or three friends with whom to explore the immensities of this humble space, believe me they will have a good time, I have nothing else to add, thank you very much for reading, I hope you liked it, see you around, bye bye.

Este es un post especial, o bueno, el especial tuvo que ser el anterior, ya que según pude ver se trata de mi publicación número 500, una cifra que me ha tomado años alcanzar y que si bien no he sido activa día tras días como años atrás, me considero orgullosa de haber logrado, pero al final no es más que un número, no representa mucho pero aprovecharé que este es mi post #501 para hacer unos cuantos cambios de imagen, quizá los noten, quizá no, pero será una nueva etapa al menos para mi y me emociona emprenderla acá con ustedes, pero mucha cursilería, vamos a lo que vinimos.

Existen los juegos de terror, y los juegos de “terror”, esos que en lugar de asustarte te terminan ocasionando un ataque de risa en el peor de los casos, y eso es precisamente de lo que les vengo a hablar hoy, hablemos de Lethal Company.

Primero que todo, he grabado gameplay, así que si gustan verlo ahí lo tienen disponible arriba, pero igual les hablaré del juego para que entiendan un poco como va la cosa. Puedes jugarlo solo o en compañía, pero lo lindo del juego está en que jueguen 4 personas, es el máximo que permite si no contamos un mod para incrementar el máximo de jugadores a 20, una verdadera locura.

Lethal Company nos mete en la piel de recolectores de chatarra que trabajan para “La Compañía”, y eso es todo, tenemos una deuda que se vence en un plazo de días, y para ello tenemos que recopilar objetos de valor a lo largo de varios planetas para venderlos a “La Compañía” y así saldar nuestra deuda y vivir un día más… literalmente.

¿Qué pasa si no cumplimos la deuda?, pues yo creo que el nombre del juego lo deja bien claro, será la propia Compañía la que se encargue de tirarnos al espacio y cortar nuestro suministro vital, por lo que nos conviene hacer nuestro trabajo si queremos avanzar. En parte me recuerda un poco a Phasmophobia porque con el dinero que obtienes además de pagar tu deuda puedes comprar herramientas que te faciliten la tarea durante tus exploraciones como linternas o walkie-talkies, pero debes pensar bien en que gastar el dinero porque algunas cosas son costosas y lo peor de todo es que puedes perderlas si el jugador que las lleva encima muere y nadie las recoge.

Una vez en un planeta, la idea es empezar a explorar para encontrar la “base” de ese planeta y por ende, el lugar donde estará buena parte de la chatarra, por no decir toda pues hasta ahora no he visto chatarra fuera de la base en ningún planeta, pero sí objetos de valor, como un panal de abejas que puedes llevarte y vender, si es que logras escapar sin que te maten las abejas, no lo recomiendo.

Durante tu exploración aparecerán diferentes tipos de criaturas, unas inofensivas y otras no tanto, son estas últimas las que te dificultarán todo pues son la principal causa de muerte dentro del juego, perros alienígenas, monstruos con tentáculos, slimes y un no tan largo etcétera te harán la vida imposible, podrías quejarte de la variedad de enemigos pero hablamos de un juego en estado de Early Access, así que tengo legítimo miedo de cómo será la versión completa de Lethal Company.

This purchase comes from the need to change my microphone, which is the headset microphone that I've had for a year, a little more may be, and as I was fed up with the fact that the audio from the headphones to the microphone was leaking, I wanted to go for a separate microphone.

Being completely honest, my idea was to go for a better microphone, one of those that streamers or more professional content creators use, but apart from being wildly out of my budget, it seems like an excessive expense at the moment, since I don't use my voice most of the time, I have always preferred text to express myself.

So I decided to go for a more accessible and not so expensive option, at first I was running away from this micro, but I ended up giving a chance to the SF-666, more specifically the R model, which brings RGB, I am surprised to have bought it for 15$ because in Mercadolibre people are somewhat... usurious.

Bad point, they only gave me a one week warranty, which already passed, but when have they ever given you warranty in this country?, so I set out to exploit the micro as intensively as possible during that week, and everything went well [it proceeds to break down on the eighth day], let's hope it continues for a long time.

Something that I didn't indicate in the video, is that at the level of materials, it's all of a fairly basic plastic, brings its flexible pop filter which I don't occupy too much, but that is there, the only thing that worries me a little is that depending on what position you have the pop filter, the micro can be very easy to pull down, the tripod does its function as long as the weight is balanced and don't have the filter too far out.

I must say that the microphone is very sensitive, if you turn off the noise suppression you can hear even the applause of your neighbor's house captured in the microphone [not real experience™], but the OBS suppression works much better with this microphone than with the one I used to use before, which as you can see in my videos, sometimes the voice is cut off or not taken at all since I speak a little low sometimes.

But let's talk about the game as such, that game that has made me spend hours and hours hunting monsters with my friends, my hunting comrades, and although lately I've been looking for materials on my own, I've always preferred to play in company, as in the video that occupies us today.

Once you "finish" the expansion of Monster Hunter World, called Iceborne, believe me, you are far from leaving the game, because despite having faced the final boss, which is also a brutal fight, there are still enemies even harder to fight than that monster that marks "the end" of the game, one of those is the Safi'Jiiva, the adult version of Xeno'Jiiva, final boss of the base game, it's still not the hardest challenge of the game, but it's a formidable enemy that requires certain notions whether you fight solo or in coop.

Let's start with its health, Safi'Jiiva has only 20,000 health points if you play solo, 26,000 in duo and 40.000 with 3/4 hunters, a pretty average amount of life, you could even say that it has very little life for the proportions of the enemy, but here comes the trick, it's a monster that absorbs the energy of its surroundings and regenerates its life, and it's not that it does it little by little, on the contrary, it recovers all the life instantly, so every time you reduce it 30% of life, it will be back to 100% as if nothing, here comes the obvious question: how do you kill this thing?

Fortunately, the energy that the monster can absorb is not infinite, the combat zone is divided into 3 levels and each one has a maximum of energy that the Safi'Jiiva can absorb, the energy it absorbs is conserved for future attempts, if you fail once, the energy it has consumed will remain so until the next time you try again, Following this logic, it will be a little easier each time you fail, because it will have less energy to consume, and therefore it will go down faster to the next level and you can kill it before the time runs out, because more than a matter of difficulty, it is a matter of time whether you defeat the monster or not, because you only have 30 minutes to do as much damage as possible.

The only thing I would say you should be careful with, is the strongest attack of the monster, a kind of energy beam that shoots to the ground and covers all the sand, if you don't take cover behind a rock, you better go digging the grave because you already died haha.

Cualquiera que haya visto un post mio en los últimos 3 meses sabe que he estado a tope jugando Monster Hunter World, a estas alturas ya es uno de los juegos a los que más tiempo le he dedicado en mi vida, cada vez más cerca de las 300 horas, y las que me falten después de esas, aún falta mucho por hacer, y hay mucho tiempo para hacerlo, o eso me gustaría creer, el tiempo es un recurso valioso y me gusta aprovecharlo todo lo posible, o al menos intentarlo.

Pero hablemos del juego como tal, ese juego que me ha hecho pasar horas y horas cazando monstruos junto a mis amigos, mis camaradas de cacería, y aunque últimamente he estado buscando materiales por mi cuenta, siempre he preferido jugar en compañía, como en el video que hoy nos ocupa.

Una vez “terminas” la expansión de Monster Hunter World, llamada Iceborne, creeme que estás lejos de abandonar el juego, pues a pesar de haber enfrentado al jefe final, que además es una pelea brutal, todavía hay enemigos aún más duros de pelear que ese monstruo que marca “el final” del juego, uno de esos, es el Safi’Jiiva, la versión adulta del Xeno’Jiiva, jefe final del juego base, sigue sin ser el reto más duro del juego, pero es un enemigo formidable que requiere de ciertas nociones pelees en solo o en coop.

Empecemos por su vida, el Safi’Jiiva tiene solo 20.000 puntos de vida si juegas en solo, 26.000 en duo y 40.000 con 3/4 cazadores, una cantidad de vida bastante promedio, incluso podrías decir que tiene muy poca vida para las proporciones del enemigo, pero aquí viene el truco, es un monstruo que absorbe la energía de sus alrededores y regenera su vida, y no es que lo haga poco a poco, al contrario, se recupera toda la vida al instante, por lo que cada vez que le reduces un 30% de la vida, estará de vuelta al 100% como si nada, aquí sale la pregunta obvia: ¿cómo matas a esta cosa?

Por suerte, la energía que puede absorber el monstruo no es infinita, la zona de combate se divide en 3 niveles y cada uno tiene un máximo de energía que el Safi’Jiiva puede absorber, la energía que absorbe se conserva para futuros intentos, si le fallas una vez, la energía que haya consumido se mantendrá así hasta la siguiente vez que lo vuelvas a intentar, siguiendo esta lógica, será un poquito más fácil cada vez que falles, pues tendrá menos energía para consumir, y por lo tanto bajará más rápido al siguiente nivel y podrás matarlo antes de que se acabe el tiempo, ya que más que cuestión de dificultad, es cuestión de tiempo el que derrotes al monstruo o no, pues solo dispones de 30 minutos para hacerle todo el daño posible.

Lo único con lo que diría que se debe tener cuidado, es el ataque más fuerte del monstruo, una especie de rayo de energía que dispara hacia el suelo y abarca toda la arena, si no te cubres detrás de una roca, mejor ve cavando la tumba porque ya moriste haha.

Lately my gaming repertoire has been carrying cobwebs, not because I haven't played too much, but because lately my routine is based on occupying all my free time playing Monster Hunter World, it's something that has been happening since last year, and although I'm done with the main story, I continue day after day exploring the aberrant amount of content that the game offers, but this is not a Monster Hunter post, but what I'm playing to take a little break from Monster Hunter and vary a little.

That's when I remembered, that this season I acquired the Fortnite battle pass and still not complete it, the end of the season is relatively close so I see fit to dedicate myself to climb a few levels to get as many cosmetics as possible, there is also a curious event in progress based on completing several sets of missions that give progressive rewards, like a mini battle pass.

But, because of all this, I wrote to a friend to play with me and form the most noob duo existing on the surface of the earth, as always, in zero build mode, otherwise we would never go below top 50 honestly.

This season of Fortnite started pretty well, but then began to have many problems, the matches did not start, the markers moved from place, objects that added had to be removed because they found bugs or exploits, as happened with the hammer and Deku's Smash, among countless little details that unfortunately diminished the quality of the game, today has recovered a bit and makes me want to play again, but for all that I tell you I moved away from the game a little, until now.

Something that I'm very grateful for, is that the cumulative weekly missions came back, at the beginning of the season, if you didn't do the weekly missions in their respective week, these were lost forever, and that is a lot, a LOT of experience that you are missing if you don't play actively, unlike previous seasons where it was possible to complete the pass playing only the last day of the season, gathering all the experience of the weeklies, among other things, and although the change came in quite late, it is appreciated, because getting the rewards of the end of the pass is not accessible to all mortals, mostly because of the time factor, we all have occupations or simply don't want to dedicate every day to the same game.

Talking about the video, I wanted to take a different approach to the usual, the most common, it's not a commented gameplay and little more, but this time I decided to do something without the voices and focus on editing the video in a way that I had time without doing, it resulted in something much shorter compared to my Resident Evil 2 gameplays, for example, but I really liked the result, and I hope you find it much lighter and more enjoyable to watch than an hour long video.

Unfortunately, today I don't bring you victories, nor especially outstanding plays, but I had a lot of fun recording and editing this, and I think that in the end is what we all value here, not playing well, but having a good time, without further ado, I let you enjoy the gameplay, thank you very much for reading!

Últimamente mi repertorio de juegos ha estado llevando telarañas, no porque no haya jugado demasiado, sino porque últimamente mi rutina se basa en ocupar todo mi tiempo libre jugando Monster Hunter World, es algo que ha venido ocurriendo desde el año pasado, y aunque ya terminé, sigo día tras día explorando la cantidad aberrante de contenido que el juego ofrece, pero esto no es un post de Monster Hunter, sino de lo que estoy jugando para tomarme un pequeño respiro de Monster Hunter y variar un poco.

Es cuando recordé, que esta temporada adquirí el pase de batalla del Fortnite y aún no lo completo, el fin de la temporada está relativamente cerca así que veo acorde el dedicarme a subir unos cuantos niveles para sacar todos los cosméticos posibles, también hay un evento curioso en progreso basado en completar varios sets de misiones que dan recompensas progresivas, como un mini pase de batalla.

Pero, por todo esto, le escribí a un amigo para que jugara conmigo y formar el dúo más noob existente sobre la superficie de la tierra, como siempre, en el modo sin construcción, de otra forma nunca bajaría del top 50 honestamente.

Esta temporada de Fortnite empezó bastante bien, pero luego empezó a tener muchos problemas, las partidas no iniciaban, los marcadores se movían de sitio, objetos que añadían tenían que ser retirados porque encontraban bugs o exploits, como ocurrió con el martillo y el Deku’s Smash, entre infinidad de detallitos que lamentablemente mermaron la calidad del juego, hoy día se ha recuperado un poco y me dan ganas de volver a jugar, pero por todo lo que les comento me alejé un poco del juego, hasta ahora.

Algo que agradezco mucho, es que volvieron las misiones semanales acumulativas, al inicio de la temporada, si no hacías las misiones semanales en su respectiva semana, estas se perdían para siempre, y eso es mucha, MUCHA experiencia que te estás perdiendo si no juegas activamente, a diferencia de temporadas anteriores donde es posible completar el pase jugando solo el último día de la temporada, juntando toda la experiencia de las semanales, entre otras cosas, y aunque el cambio entró bastante tarde, se agradece, porque conseguir las recompensas del final del pase no está al acceso de todos los mortales, mayormente por el factor tiempo, todos tenemos ocupaciones o simplemente no queremos dedicar todos los días a un mismo juego.

Hablando del video, quise tomar un acercamiento diferente al de siempre, al más común, no es un gameplay comentado y poco más, sino que esta vez decidí prescindir de las voces y enfocarme en editar el video de una forma que tenía tiempo sin hacer, resultó en algo mucho más corto en comparación a mis gameplays de Resident Evil 2, por ejemplo, pero me gustó mucho el resultado, y espero que les resulte mucho más ligero y agradable de ver que un video de una hora.

Por desgracia, hoy no les traigo victorias, ni jugadas especialmente destacables, pero me divertí mucho grabando y editando esto, y creo que al final es lo que todos valoramos acá, no jugar bien, sino pasarlo bien, sin más, les dejo disfrutar del gameplay, ¡muchas gracias por leer!

I think this episode will be a little quieter, more of looking for things here and there and less of confrontations, which there are also, there always are, but I do my best to try to stay out of it and not waste resources, and I still end up doing it haha.

Recapping, the previous time I had the confrontation against William Birkin, we got to the parking lot, met Ada, and stayed right after returning to the police station, I needed some spare electrical parts that were in the clock tower of the police station, so I could reactivate the electricity in the basement cell area and thus take the parking card from Ben to get out of the parking lot once and for all.

Most of this chapter I'll be precisely in the police station, apart from looking for these pieces, some interesting things came up along the way, I got another fanny pack, not before spending about 5 minutes trying to open the portable safe in which was the key I needed to open the locker of the fanny pack haha, as well as finally I got the Lightning Hawk, or the magnum, as you know it, I had been finding ammo for a while but still did not have access to the weapons room of the S.T.A.R.S. offices, finally today I found the USB in the form of a badge that was needed to unlock that room, so I went running to claim my new toy hehe.

I must point out that when I returned to the police station I finally had the first direct encounter with the "iconic" enemy of this game, which is Mr. X, the Tyrant of this game, a guy so tall that requires crouching to even enter through the doors, and that will be following Leon after a certain point in the game, in this case, after putting out the fire caused by the helicopter, from here we'll know what the real terror is, when you start to hear steps that are not yours, getting closer and closer.

Mr. X already appeared in the previous chapter, but it was very brief and only in a cinematic, so as such we see him better here, for those who don't have much idea, this is an invincible enemy, you can shoot him with everything you have and he won't die, so your only option is to run, period.
