The sea, a balm for the soul [Spa/Eng]

Hay lugares que nos invitan a la calma, y la playa es sin duda uno de ellos. Junto a mis hijos y nietos visité a Conoma, que significa en la lengua de nuestros indígenas "Palma con Fruto de Hilacha". Es una playa hermosa, de aguas tranquilas, ubicada en el estado Anzoátegui, y pertenece al parque nacional, Mochima, de nuestra madre tierra, Venezuela.

Ir a la playa no se trata solo de un destino de vacaciones, sino de disfrutar de un espacio natural que nos ayuda a reconectar con nosotros mismos, a encontrar esa paz interior que nos calma y genera bienestar emocional, mental y hasta espiritual.

Cuando estamos frente al mar y observamos el movimiento constante de ir y venir de las olas, sin darnos cuenta, estamos en una especie de mantra natural. El sonido rítmico que genera el movimiento del agua, actúa como un calmante para nuestra mente que vive procesando múltiples pensamientos.

La combinación de la de brisa marina, el calor del sol y el tacto de la arena, tienen un efecto de energía casi terapéutica, la simple acción de caminar descalzo por la orilla, nos conecta con la tierra, con el aire y con el agua, y esto nos ayuda a una reducción de la ansiedad, y nos sumergirnos en un estado de relajación profunda.

Cuando se admira la inmensidad del océano, nuestras preocupaciones cotidianas parecen minúsculas. Contemplar el horizonte nos ayuda a liberar tensiones y también nos revela que, a pesar de los desafíos, la serenidad existe. Es un recordatorio de que la vida tiene un ritmo natural, como las mareas, y que hay momentos para fluir y momentos para descansar.

Si alguna vez te has sentido abrumado, estresado o simplemente desconectado, de tanto sumergirte en una pantalla o en una lista de tareas interminables, es entonces el momento de vivir la experiencia de un simple y poderoso abrazo de la naturaleza, y de todas sus maravillas, la playa es uno de las más curativas.

Cuando sientas que necesitas un respiro, no dudes en visitar la playa, es perfecta para sanar el alma, recargar energías y volver a encontrar la tranquilidad que a veces perdemos en el ajetreo diario.

There are places that invite us to calm, and the beach is undoubtedly one of them. Together with my children and grandchildren I visited Conoma, which in the language of our indigenous people means “Palm with Hilacha Fruit”. It is a beautiful beach, with calm waters, located in the state of Anzoátegui, and belongs to the national park, Mochima, of our motherland, Venezuela.
Going to the beach is not just a vacation destination, but to enjoy a natural space that helps us reconnect with ourselves, to find that inner peace that calms us and generates emotional, mental and even spiritual well-being.
When we are in front of the sea and we observe the constant movement of the waves coming and going, without realizing it, we are in a kind of natural mantra. The rhythmic sound generated by the movement of the water, acts as a calming for our mind that lives processing multiple thoughts.
The combination of the sea breeze, the warmth of the sun and the touch of the sand, have an almost therapeutic energy effect, the simple action of walking barefoot on the shore, connects us with the earth, with the air and with the water, and this helps us to reduce anxiety, and plunge us into a state of deep relaxation.
When admiring the immensity of the ocean, our daily worries seem miniscule. Contemplating the horizon helps us release tension and also reveals to us that, despite challenges, serenity exists. It is a reminder that life has a natural rhythm, like the tides, and that there are times to flow and times to rest.
If you've ever felt overwhelmed, stressed or simply disconnected from so much immersion in a screen or an endless to-do list, it's time to experience a simple and powerful embrace of nature, and of all its wonders, the beach is one of the most healing.
When you feel you need a break, do not hesitate to visit the beach, it is perfect to heal the soul, recharge energies and find again the tranquility that sometimes we lose in the daily hustle and bustle.
