Yo creo que estás dos canciones que he elegido para esta semana sin duda alguna representan parte de las musicas mas icónicas de Venezuela, ya que ha sido interpretada por uno de los artistas mas reconocido, les hablo de Gualberto Ibarreto, un icono de la música tradicional Venezolana.

Gualberto Ibarreto nacido el 12 de julio de 1947 ha tenido una carrera súper exitosa, defiendo el folclore nacional, tiene temas muy reconocidos y algunos de ellos versionados en otros países, algunos de los mas icónicos pudieran ser ladrón de tu amor, a cuerpo cobarde, María Antonia, el negro y el catire, entre otros.

En el año 2012 saco una colaboración con un grupo también reconocido en Venezuela llamado C4 trio, como agrupación se han destacado en innovar y fusionar estilos tradicionales con distintas melodías y géneros del mundo. En está colaboración entre Gualberto Ibarreto y C4 trio, le dieron un toque diferente a los temas clásicos, otros arreglos un poco más frescos y actuales.

Dentro de unos de los arreglos estaba el de Anhelante y la bikina, una combinación de estos dos temas con un arreglo super especial y muy bien estructurado. Anhelante es un vals venezolano cuyo autor es José Sifontes, con una letra increíblemente bella, fue sacada en 1976, mientras tanto la canción de la bikina proveniente de México fue sacada en 1964 cuyo autor es Ruber Fuentes, Gualberto Ibarreto las adapto a su estilo musical y su manera de interpretarlas que por año a sido parte de la cultura venezolana.

Hace tiempo tuve la oportunidad de acompañarlo en un concierto que el realizó en la isla de margarita-Venezuela, sin duda alguna una experiencia inolvidable, además de admiración que yo sentía desde pequeño por este artista sin igual.

Así que espero que les guste esta versión instrumental solo con la mandolina, realizando la melodía y algo de improvisacion, un abrazo.

Yo me preguntaba que música seleccionaria para mí presentación en la semana número uno, algo que tal vez no haya hecho con anterioridad, indagando por el Internet, me aparecía una de las canciones más icónicas y seguro muchos la conocerán, aunque déjenme decirle que es un poco vieja, pero siento que eso es bueno para recordar esos tiempos.

La canción le pertenece a nada mas y nada menos que al artista, cantante y compositor Juan Luis Guerra, quien es de republica Dominicana, y por sus éxitos musicales es Reconocido a nivel mundal. El tiene una canción llamada "La avispa", la sacó en el año 2004 y fue un éxito rotundo, lo más impactante de todo es que dentro de la letras el hacía referencias a varios versículos de la biblia, algo que de verdad no sabía pero es bastante interesante.

Por ejemplo parte de la letra decía tengo un Dios admirable en los cielos, eso pertenece al Isaías 9, 5, además también decia Y el amor de su Espíritu Santo, el cual es Juan 18, 37.

Sin duda alguna, el quería dar un mensaje a través de sus canciones y que increíble le quedó. Por eso traigo está canción con mi instrumento la mandolin, ojo yo no canto así que es completamente instrumental así que espero que les guste, un abrazo para todos, seguimos haciendo música.

Un golpe directo al corazón, un sentimiento que se desborda de nuestro ser, por tan vil mentira, eso ha causado que muchas personas en estos dos Días, han salido a protestar en todos los estados de Venezuela, ya hay algunos heridos, muertos y presos, Dios meta sus manos por nosotros.

Estaba leyendo de que trataba el tema de esta semana e inmediatamente se me vino un recuerdo en la mente de mi infancia, aquellos tiempos donde era niño y no había preocupación alguna, solo reír y divertirse. Ese recuerdo que se me vino a la mente era cuando llegaba a casa de mis primos, se reunían para jugar en una consola portátil uno de los más famosos juegos Súper Mario Bros, un juego que nos alegraba el día y no solo eso, tenía canciones o temas específicos que eran muy contagiosos, y que fácilmente podías recordarlo día tras día sus unicas melodías, y claro al escucharla en cualquier lugar ya sabía que pertenecían al juego de super Mario Bros.

Estuve viendo hace poco los temas del concurso Eurovisión, para serles sincero primera vez que oigo hablar de este concurso, pero me hace recordar un poco a la voz, got talent, y ese tipo de eventos. Sin duda la participación de estos artistas son increíbles, demostrando la variedad, versatilidad, la tradición, la vanguardia, afinación, sentimientos en general lo que es ser un artista.

A mi en particular me llamo mucho la atención la manera de interpretar de este artista llamado Slimane que canta el tema "Mon amour", sin duda alguna el sentimiento que le imprimio a la canción traspasa el vídeo y su música es magia, el representa a Francia, es por eso que elegí este tema.

Yo soy músico, y no canto para nada, así que cree mi versión instrumental del tema con mi instrumento la mandolina, use la pista que el usaba en su vídeo quitándole la voz con bandlab, agregue una segunda mandolina en algunas cosas en la post producción, y también una pequeña improvisación al final de la canción, tratando de imprimir el sentimiento, espero les guste.

Normalmente la mandolina que es el instrumento que toco, es acompañado por otro instrumento que le dé la base rítmica y armónica, esto con el fin de cantar la melodía, aquí trate de hacer una versión que uniera la parte rítmica-armonica con la realización de acordes y la melodía para que se escuchará un poco más llena sin ningún tipo de acompañamiento, también agregue ciertas escalas que no son de la canción pero que según mi gusto sonaban bien con el fin de adornar un poco.

Una nueva semana, cambiamos un poco la dinámica, ahora tenemos tema de los años 60 para traer nuestras presentaciones, es una buena manera de traer música diferente y recordar viejos tiempos.

Aunque bueno en esa época apenas estaba yo naciendo, si reconozco actualmente algunos temas icónicos de ese momento, decidí buscar para mi elección del tema los más emblemáticos de la época, los escuché uno por uno y el que me gustó mucho y pensaba que quedaría bien con mi instrumento que es la mandolina, se llama Stand By me, este tema es de 1961 específicamente y fue compuesta e interpretada por Ben E. King.

Esta es mi propia versión instrumental del tema, decidí crear un loop, ya que no tengo pedalera de loop utilice lo que estaba a mi alcance y la cree con una aplicación del teléfono llamada bandlab, primero agregue una percusión para que fuera la base del tema con un instrumento que se llama maraca, y luego con la mandolina cree un ciclo de acordes con rítmica y luego cantar la melodía con el instrumento, además de esto, le agregue algo de improvisación en la última parte y cerré el tema con la mandolina sola.

Normalmente cuando creo una canción surge de las vivencias, experiencias emociones y sentimientos que estoy viviendo o he vivido. Últimamente me he sentido bastante ansioso, preocupado, estresado, de no saber que deparará el futuro.

Después de varios años en una situación donde parece que no hay salida en mi vida, he aprendido a sobrellevarla poco a poco, pero aún así todavía la preocupación, el estrés o cansancio sigue en mi, mi vida no me pertenece y esto porque tengo una misión muy grande que ha creado Dios para mí. Ayudar a quien me dio la vida.

Quería crear un tema con la unión de todos esos sentimientos que les comente, con la unión de varios elementos, quería una melodía un poco rápida, donde se muestre agilidad y fuerza, quería que mientras fuera avanzando hubiera unos pequeños destellos de paz y misterio, para cerrar con agresividad y ritmo.

Suelo crear los temas con base a la improvisación, poco a poco estructuro lo que más me gusta de varias improvisaciones que realizó, y así voy creando la canción.

Lo que verán en el vídeo es el resultado final, y tiene una pista que cuando la encontré me pareció maravillosa, porque tiene ese misterio y fuerza que quería, además que es un ritmo que no suelo utilizar en la mandolina, y no solo eso un beat con una orquesta de violines me parece una combinación sumamente brutal.

Lo último que lea diré es que el tema lo llame "ANSIOSO", espero que lo disfruten.

El tema que decidimos traer se llama "Procuro Olvidarte" canción del cantante nicaragüense Hernaldo Zúñiga, un tema bastante sentimental y que sin duda su letra nos transmite una gran emoción. Tratamos de hacer nuestra propia versión, y queríamos que comenzará al livitu, luego poco a poco entrar en la rítmica y que fuera creciendo la intensidad..

Se preguntarán porque les digo que se pongan los audífonos para escuchar en esta ocasión mi presentación, decidí crear algo diferente, utilizé un arreglo que le hice a una canción famosa de la isla donde vivo llamada Mar de la esperanza, y agregue ciertos elementos del mar para tratar de sumergirnos en otro mundo, intentar trasladarnos a la playa, el sonido del mar, las aves con su cantar, la brisa, además también agregue el sonido del canto de las ballenas, y con los audífonos 🎧 se logra apreciar más.

La melodía de esta canción es muy bonita y melancólica, el autor de este tema se llama Luis Cruz, pero como les dije es mi propia versión, le hice un arreglo diferente y agregue frases y melodías diferentes. Estoy experimentando un poco, espero les guste.

Hola qué tal amigos amantes de la música, espero todos estén súper bien, hoy una nueva semana de hive music festival en su ronda número dos, la primera semana me decidí por improvisar un poco sobre una base en esta ocasión voy por versionar una canción del repertorio venezolano.

Decidí traer una canción que me gusta mucho por ser del estilo romántico y suave, en algunas ocasiones he tenido la oportunidad de acompañar a algunos cantantes con esta canción y que se ha vuelto un icono en la música Venezolana increíble.

La Canción se llama "Viajera del Río", este tema está en la rítmica de vals Venezolana, y fue compuesto por Manuel Yanez, la canción tiene una historia realmente impactante ya que la esposa del compositor se murió en un río, Y el se inspiró en esta situación mas una planta acuática que el observaba desde el malecón en el estado Bolívar, para crear esta canción tan única que a mí parecer es también un poema exquisito.

Esta canción tiene una gran carga sentimental y se nota tanto en sus instrumentación como en la letra de la canción, claro yo como siempre con mi mandolina, con una versión instrumental se porque yo canto malísimo jajajajaja.

Para serles sincero no sé porque tengo tanta afinidad por la música suave y romántica, o que tenga ese aire melancólico, mi papá en ocasiones me dice que siempre elijo música suave, y bueno es verdad, solo que me llama la atención, además provoca acostarse y solo escuchar y escuchar este tipo de músicas. Me decidí por el tema llamado "J.S Bach Partita No.2 BWV1004 in D minor", en cuanto lo escuché sentí una conexión especial, además que sabía que sería un reto para mí como músico. Y bueno, si fue todo un reto aprenderme este tema en menos de una semana, y tratar de hacerlo lo mejor posible, el instrumento que estoy ejecutando se llama mandolina.

I decided for the song called "J.S Bach Partita No.2 BWV1004 in D minor", as soon as I heard it I felt a special connection, besides I knew it would be a challenge for me as a musician. And well, it was a challenge to learn this piece in less than a week, and try to do my best, the instrument I am playing is called mandolin.

Hola qué tal amigos amantes de la música, espero que todos se encuentren súper bien, una nueva semana de este grandioso festival en su ronda número uno.

Quería expresarme a través de la música siendo libre, utilizó esta expresión para referirme a las improvisaciones instrumentales, para muchos de mis colegas instrumentistas me imagino que les pasa muy seguido que le gusta más jugar un poco o improvisar, antes que aprenderse una melodía ya establecida por alguien más.

A mi me encanta el hecho de poder experimentar las sonoridades del instrumento en este caso de la mandolina, en muchas ocasiones busco pistas de diferentes géneros o ritmos del mundo para tratar de adaptarme y ver qué puede fluir cuando tocó, no siempre es perfecto, pero siempre se aprende bastante, salen algunas escalas que no conocías o también ciertas frases que puedes reutilizar en otros tonos y ritmos.

La improvisación que traigo hoy, la hice sobre la base de un bolero, género musical proveniente de Cuba, y que bueno tiene una sazón increíble, escuchar esta rítmica tan sabrosa te hace querer mover los pies, o mover las manos, y bueno hay boleros suaves y un otros un poco más rápidos. El que les traigo en mi presentación digamos que es intermedio, está en el tono de Do Menor, eso lo hace un poco melancólico y triste, trate de crear unas melodías al principio y luego poco a poco ir jugando con algunos trinos, además de las escalas para ver qué tal quedaban con la canción, quiero destacar que me siento un poco limitado con los recursos que poseo actualmente en el instrumento en esta tonalidad.

Creo que debería practicar más seguido esta tonalidad, para fluir un poco mejor, bueno, sin más nada que decir, espero que disfruten de mi participación, un fuerte abrazo para todos.

Hello my friends music lovers, I hope you are all feeling great, a new week of this great festival in its round number one.

I wanted to express myself through music being free, I used this expression to refer to instrumental improvisations, for many of my fellow instrumentalists I imagine that happens very often that they like to play a little or improvise, rather than learn a melody already established by someone else.

I love the fact of being able to experiment the sonorities of the instrument in this case the mandolin, in many occasions I look for tracks of different genres or rhythms of the world to try to adapt and see what can flow when I play, it is not always perfect, but you always learn a lot, some scales come out that you did not know or also certain phrases that you can reuse in other tones and rhythms.

The improvisation that I bring today, I did it on the basis of a bolero, musical genre from Cuba, and that good has an incredible seasoning, listening to this rhythm so tasty makes you want to move your feet, or move your hands, and well there are soft boleros and others a little faster. The one I bring you in my presentation let's say it is intermediate, it is in the key of C Minor, that makes it a little melancholic and sad, I tried to create some melodies at the beginning and then little by little play with some trills, besides the scales to see how they fit with the song, I want to emphasize that I feel a little limited with the resources that I currently have in the instrument in this key.

I think I should practice more often this key, to flow a little better, well, with nothing more to say, I hope you enjoy my participation, a big hug to all.

Una semana nueva del concurso Vibes, para esta ocasión me decidí hacer algo especial, crear una canción original con varios de los elementos de la mandolina, con elementos me refiero ha algunas partes del instrumento, y así crear un acompañamiento para mi tema.

El primero elemento sería la base que la elabore en el tono de Dm, y que tiene una rítmica de onda nueva, para las personas que no saben que es la onda nueva, es un género musical creado de la combinación del joropo venezolano, y algunos elementos del jazz y bossanova.

El segundo elemento sería crear una especie de bajo para que complementará la base, esto lo hice solo con las cuerdas graves de la mandolina, para que se asemejara al sonido del bajo electrónico, además también me toco mutear un poco las notas para darle una especie de efecto al sonido.

Después de eso, decidí con la parte de atrás del instrumento darle golpes con las manos y realizar la percusión de este tema, algo que nunca antes lo había hecho, pero me resultó bastante interesante.

Además, también añadí unos armónicos en ciertas partes, y también muteando en la parte del puente y el armónico bajando y subiendo por los trastes cree una especie de rítmica percutiva que permitió darle otra sonoridad.

Por último, cree una melodía que comienza con una escala en armonía, y va recorriendo de varias técnicas del instrumento, como jalar la cuerda para crear un poco de efecto en algunas notas. Total que esto fue el resultado de todo este experimento, y que resultó en la creación de este tema original que lleva por nombre Despertar, espero que les guste.

A new week of the Vibes contest, for this occasion I decided to do something special, create an original song with several of the elements of the mandolin, with elements I mean some parts of the instrument, and thus create an accompaniment for my theme.

The first element would be the base that I elaborated it in the tone of Dm, and that has a new wave rhythmic, for the people that don't know what is the new wave, it is a musical genre created from the combination of the Venezuelan joropo, and some elements of jazz and bossanova.

The second element would be to create a kind of bass to complement the base, I did this only with the low strings of the mandolin, to resemble the sound of the electronic bass, I also had to mute the notes a little to give a kind of effect to the sound.

After that, I decided to use the back of the instrument to hit it with my hands and make the percussion of this song, something I had never done before, but I found it quite interesting.

In addition, I also added some harmonics in certain parts, and also muted in the bridge part and the harmonic going up and down the frets to create a kind of percussive rhythmic that allowed me to give it another sonority.

Finally, I created a melody that starts with a harmonic scale, and goes through various techniques of the instrument, such as pulling the string to create a little effect on some notes. All in all, this was the result of all this experimentation, which resulted in the creation of this original song called Despertar, I hope you like it.

Una nueva semana del nuevo concurso Vibes, una nueva semana que se reinicia con la oportunidad de traer música a hive. Se ha vuelto bastante desafiante, competir por el cotizado trofeo Vibes y los premios líquidos, más que todo por la cantidad tan increíble de personas que participaron en el concurso y por la calidad de sus interpretaciones, pero sin duda alguna esos nos motiva como artistas a tratar de sacar lo mejor de nosotros si queremos llegar entre los primeros lugares.

En mi anterior participación me había decidió por un tema brasilero, pero en esta ocasión decido buscar algo diferente y que me exigiera bastante, así que encontré un tema de Vivaldi, que normalmente es interpretado en las orquestas sinfónicas y cuyo solista suele ser un violín 🎻, sin duda alguna al escuchar este tema "Concierto N°2 de Vivaldi in G minor RV 315/presto" , sentí una conexión bastante buena con la canción.

Es la segunda vez en todos los años que tengo tocando la mandolina, que tocó un tema de este estilo, y sin duda ha sido uno de los más complejos a nivel técnico, o esa es mi percepción, además que solo tenía una semana para aprendermela, era un reto que se volvió personal jajajaja.

Mi participación es el resultado de 6 día de ensayo de este grandioso tema, decidí que fuera solo mi interpretación con la mandolina sin ningún otro instrumento, además también le di mi sello personal a ciertas frases, e improvise un poco con el final, espero sinceramente que les guste mi interpretación, un abrazo para todos.

A new week of the new Vibes contest, a new week that restarts with the opportunity to bring music to hive. It has become quite challenging, competing for the coveted Vibes trophy and the liquid prizes, mostly because of the incredible amount of people that participated in the contest and the quality of their interpretations, but without a doubt that motivates us as artists to try to do our best if we want to get among the first places.

In my previous participation I had decided for a Brazilian theme, but this time I decided to look for something different and that demanded me a lot, so I found a theme of Vivaldi, which is usually played in symphony orchestras and whose soloist is usually a violin 🎻, no doubt when listening to this theme "Concert No. 2 of Vivaldi in G minor - RV 315/presto", I felt a pretty good connection with the song.

It is the second time in all the years that I have been playing the mandolin, that I played a song of this style, and without a doubt it has been one of the most complex at a technical level, or that is my perception, plus I only had a week to learn it, it was a challenge that became personal hahahaha.

My participation is the result of 6 days of rehearsal of this great theme, I decided that it was only my interpretation with the mandolin without any other instrument, I also gave my personal stamp to certain phrases, and improvised a little with the end, I sincerely hope you like my interpretation, a hug for everyone.
