Hello and welcome once again my fellow #gamers, trust you've been having a good? it's been raining over here for the past three days in a row and barely gives a brake. have you been playing Minecraft for a while? well, if you've been following me recently you'll noticed I've been dropping series of in game #tutorials on how you can achieve certain goals in the #game so today, I'll be showing us how to create a #portal that takes you to the #nether dimension.
But hey, this isn't #Minecraft just another similar #sandbox game engine called #luanti and we have a lot of hive players on board already if you wish to join us: here is the neoxian city server

Now lets get started.

Creating a portal that teleports you to another dimension or world(under world) is pretty simple and you only need these items:

1. 10 to 12 obsidian blocks 🪨 (obtained when water comes in contact with lava source)
2. Diamond pic axe ⛏️ (to collect obsidian blocks)
3. A flint 🔥 (to lit up the portal)

Basically, those are the basic items you need to create the portal and take note, you will be teleported through the nearest nether portal that aligns closest to your coordinate in the overworld and vice versa so you might get toured around for a bit.

PROCESS

First you'll need to find those obsidian blocks by pouring water over some lava source and then pick them using a diamond pic axe. about 10 to 12 of them should do that's if you're making a 4x5 size or 5x5 respectively.

place two or three blocks on the ground and erect three vertically ignoring the blocks that's supposed to be at the extreme four corners of the square to save some obsidian blocks.

You get something looking like this and that's all you want. you can go ahead and lit it up, stand inside the purple light and within a matter of seconds, you get teleported to the nether world.

But remember nether is a dangerous world. you'll need some pro tips to survive out there. good luck explorer. see you on the next one.

So I've been working on this automated farm in #minetest/luanti for a while now. And here on this video I show you how you can own and make one yourself laying out the step by step process.
Although it's not a hundred percent #automated because you'll have to do just the planting all by yourself because for now there is no way you can fo that automatically. At least none that I know of just yet.

Okay so, you'll get every single detail in the video but I'm just going to leave a couple of those I believe I must have skipped from the video down here as a description.

First it took me about 3 days (real time) and about 13 days (luanti time) from start to finish which of course yours should be faster because I wasn't really stable during the whole process more over if you're pro!.

ITEMS USED

• sand (not dirt)
• buckets of water
• a couple blocks (cobblestones)
• pistons (to push sand upwards)
• redstone dust (serves as wires)
• hoppers (to collect the farm produce)
• chests
• levers (serves as power/electricity)

These are the basic things you'll need to setup the farm.
It all started from making the ground look sloppy in other for the water to flow downwards and that's going to help us harvest and push down the farm produce in to the hoppers.

The hoppers are then placed properly to ensure farm produce move in accordance directly into the chest which of course the video explains everything.

Another thing I didn't really cover in he video was how I crafted those items which may be necessary for people who don't know and I'll drop a few screenshots here.

HOPPERS

These devices collect items above them and store it to themselves or a chest placed to their direction.

PISTONS

They can move blocks when powered by redstone power, and the sticky ones can move and receive blocks to themselves when powered by redstone and vice versa.

It's been quite a while since i last published about this game. although I've been playing quite regularly but i dont always find time to make screen recordings of my play but luckily i eas able to do this one just yesterday after i stumbled on a cave underground i had to lit it up in everyway possible, hoping to find some hidden treasures and items.

One of the fun part of this game is getting to explore new biom, caves under water structures and temples. have fun, loot chests and of course keep an eye for zombies and other threats in the game, it doesn't get any simpler.

Unfortunately i lost all the screenshots i took during the game but on this very clip, i found a zombie cave underground while mining. the cave always has a mob spawner that generates a specific mob regularly. so i decided to make a screen recording on how to invade the cave and reach out to the chests because basically that's all you need from the zombies or any mob spawner and cave you come across. hoping to find useful ana rare treasures in their chests.

These zombies are one of the least dangerous to me unlike skeleton that could attack with a bow from a far distance with good hits, the zombies need to have a one on one approach with you in other to take you out.

Luckily for me there was a pool of lave surrounding the cave which was to my advantage and a little dangerous because if I trip in, it would definitely be the end so i had to proceed with precisions.

At the end if the day it was still the regular chests ive always seen with music discs, a bunch of different seeds and nothing rare at all. but never the less its still part of the game we keep exploring and having fun.

THE WOLVES AND HOUSE

Been on this project for 2 to 3 days now gathering resources to build up a new house. First I needed a lot of bones to make enough bone blocks to erect the building and a couple of other blocks mined underground.

I would keep this writeup as brief as possible showing the work process as the finished work and everything is already on the video attached!.

First I found this empty plot of land and decided to make good use of it. All started by making the floor first. And my favorite is the chess pattern or monochome(black &white) which ever one.

This is the foundation of the building now erect the building with bone blocks up to the roof level and partition the house into room, kitchen and the rest of them which you'll find in the video.

<took several days of #building and #mining fending for resources for this construction.

Things you'll find around the house!

1. THE WOLF HOUSE 🐺

After taming a wolf, I decided to make her a little fancy post where you'll always find her. I went into the snowy biom to fetch some snowballs to build snow blocks and some ice blocks as well.
I felt it would be a perfect habitat for a wolf after all!
Polished the walls with some white concrete blocks.

Added some more decorations both interior and exterior to make it look nice and fancy !

2.THE GARDEN 🥔

As usual Mr D's rule for an appropriate house, you must have a garden or a farm.
Here is one little idea I got from my visit to the villagers and how they made their garden.

Place some soil inside the tree blocks and a water source in the middle of it, this helps the crops and vegetables grow better and retains the farm land during harvest so you don't need to keep using the hoe.

Keep a composer or decomposer beside it, this helps make fertilizer (bone meals) for the #farm by dropping any of the farm products inside it!.

3. THE RESERVOIR!

I needed a source for water and it started by making a 3 by 3 sized well with about 5 blocks deep under, decorated it with concrete blocks and added torch for luminance

Filled the well up with water and there, no matter how much water you take from this reservoir, it doesn't get dry! Lunati standard.

These are just summaries as you'll find more details in the video!

Bones are one essential resource in #luanti(minetest); you make bone meals with them, which helps your crops and plants grow faster, if not instantly, rather than waiting several days for them to grow. Bones are also used to make bone blocks which are very adorable for decorations and if you wish to build a fancy white house made up of bones and most importantly, bones are used to tame wolves which is my favorite part.
But all of these, getting bones may be a very difficult task as it’s primarily dropped by skeletons when they get killed or you could find some in chests under caves. This is also difficult because you will need to conquer a lot of monsters before reaching the chest. So what other way can the bones be best obtained? That is, by creating a farm, and how does that happen?

REQUIREMENTS

1. Generator!

Firstly, you need a skeleton spawn generator; this can only be gotten in caves underground or on hilltops when you get this generator, this is where you’re going to establish the farm because you can’t move the generator unless you have an enchanted slick tool to do so.

Secondly, if you wish to make it an automatic farm then you’ll need some more devices like

• Water source
• Fire blocks
• Hooper
• Chests
• Trap doors
• Piston block

Water source: this is to help control the skeletons and prevent them from having a free will movement when they begin to spawn, as well as move the drops from the skeletons to a specific direction.

Fire blocks: these blocks deal damage to your feet. Placing them at the end of the water moves the skeletons onto these blocks which deals damage to them until they are killed.

Hooper: these items help collect items from above and either store them onto themselves automatically or move them inside a chest that is placed under it. This will help you collect the bones and items dropped by the dead skeletons stored in a chest automatically.

Trap doors: these doors are positioned in such a way that helps prevent the skeletons from leaving the spawn area, more like a boundary between you and them so you don’t get into trouble or rage while still giving you control over the farm without being outrun by the skeleton.

Piston blocks: this device helps push a block +1 unit when powered by red stone power, and its operation is controlled by a lever or a switch. In this case, I used it to either close or open up the water that pushes the skeletons forward by triggering a simple switch.

This is useful because when the spawn generator is exposed to flowing water for too long, you may lose the generator, so always turn the water off and allow the skeletons to wander into the fire blocks by themselves.

This clip attached to this post shows a quick process on how I got to set this skeleton farm on the server carried out on a mobile device, I play Luanti most of the time on my mobile because I find it very easy and handy unless I want to stream the game or need a bigger monitor, I can then switch to my pc.

🤺 Weeks ago, our last duel was an epic clash of the titans with lots of prizes won by victory and bravery where @pravesh0 won a four man royal rumble match against @hurtlocker , @vickoly and @shrazi. with vickoly being the first taste the shinning blades of pravesh and shrazi got beaten to pop by hurtlocker but then hurt couldn't withstand the aggressive blades of pravesh where he won a total of 2,500 neoxags 🏆

🤺 A one on one match between shrazi and hurtlocker where hurt showed absolutely no mercy on shrazi and massaged shrazi with his sharp blades on both first and second round wining with 2 points to nothing and won a 100% vote by Mr Dragon 🐲.

We are going to have another epic duel this saturday in the neoxian city minetest server(combat arena) as we will be having the sixth tournament so far in the battle arena with a total of 10,000 neoxags and a huge prize to be won🏆 as usual.

Weeks ago, our last duel was another epic match with @pravesh0 winning a four man royal rumble match against @rosecane , @vickoly and @shrazi claiming a total reward of 6k neoxag silvers in prize and shrazi defeated his beloved brother rose_cane severally and received a 100% vote reward from the king of the city Mr Dragon. The video above shows the four men royal rumble match where rose cane was first evicted second to shrazi and then vickoly got slain by pravesh0 making pravesh the winner of the round.

Second combat was a one on one match between two best brothers shrazi and rose going one on one where shrazi won twice in a row and automatically declared the winner.
it wasn't an easy combat between these two, they fought for nearly a whole day or two before we finally witnessed rose on the floor after being pierced by the blades of his own brother 😅❤️. it was indeed an exciting combat.

It's going to be another exciting moment this saturday in the neoxian city minetest server(combat arena) as we will be having the fourth tournament's in the battle arena with a total of 10,000 neoxags and other prizes to be won🏆 as usual.

Hello music lovers of hive community, it's my first time doing this on hive and i hope you're going to enjoy it. It's tuesday again and another edition of the usual three tunes tuesday (TTT) contest's, so today i want to take you on a tour down to Africa and I'll be sharing with us all one of africa's favorite genre called the makkosa

Makkosa is an urban music that originated from cameroon language called dauala. It is also one of africa's best dance genre of good old times. Why inline the makkosa music like one of the most popular makkosa artist Awilo logomba is that people never get tired of vibing to the song.
So today I'll be doing something very unique and that is mixing three makkosa musics together one after the other using the most popular DJ programme, virtual dj software.

First song I'll share is titled Karolina by Awilo logomba This song is one of africa and nigeria's number one party music, it is one that would always make the body start moving even when not in the mood to dance.
Awilo has been an all time makkosa singer but unfortunately he departed a long time ago but despite that, we in Africa never stopp moving our body to his Karolina music title.

I use this music whenever i want to turn on my audience in a certain environment or gatherings. Put them on their feet and put them in the mood.

The second makkosa song i would be mixing is titled roga roga by Etat Major
This very piece is quite a unique one in a sense that it is sometimes memic into a gospel song here in my country. And that makes it slightly acceptable in churches where you can dance and misplace your shoes😄.

This one is a special banger and appetiser on a dance floor, the music piece has no vocals but just makkosa instruments which makes it very intense and specific to just dance every moves you can to the beat.

MINETEST ARENA DAY

Ki ki ki were the sounds of sharp blades smashing themselves on metal armours in the battle field as @pravesh0 got tagged with @b0s against @rosecane and @xabi on a last man standing match in the neoxian city minetest battle arena.

Just as the match began, all fighters were well dressed in iron armours holding a stainless steel sword and a shield for protection,
Fighters ready? And fight! Was the instruction given to start up the fight.

As usual every fighter knew that pravesh0 was an undefeatable warrior so rosecane and xabi left b0s and cared less about him while they tried to put pravesh0 out of the field first.
Pravesh running so dear for his life while eating enough carbohydrates to keep his aspirin bar full, xabi finally turned to take on b0s.

b0s and xabi dealt with themselves as much as they could while rose and pravesh kept pouring out the anger on themselves for the big prize🏆.
It wasn't so long when we heard pravesh blade going through rosecane tearing him apart and. Yes rosecane was the first fighter to be kicked out of the rumble by pravesh0 and after that, pravesh took the same anger and energy down to xabi and cut through his iron armours with a sharp blade and boom, pravesh0 took down two fighters that were after him.

Left in the arena with the almighty b0s, b0s was trying to save himself from pravesh0 but his network didn't agree to that. b0s was running very fast on one spot due to a bad network connection and pravesh0 uses the opportunity to tickle him with sharp blades. At some point when b0s network returns, we see b0s teleporting in the field like he had some magic powers.

So long his magic couldn't save him as he was finally slain by pravesh0 and that was the victory for pravesh as he alone took down three fighters and became a warrior.

This was just one out of the 4 different matches that took place in the arena,
A one on one match between @protokkol and @rosecane in the normal arena (winner: rosecane)

A one on one match between @xabi and @rosecane in the deadly arena (winner: xabi)

A 4 man tag team and last man standing match in the normal arena (winner: team pravesh)

Big event, a 4 man tag team last man standing in the deadly arena for Mr Dragons 100% vote. (Winner: team pravesh)
Other players who showed up at the event include @vickoly @merit.ahama and @oluwadrey
