Good day and welcome to my entry for Hive music festival week 156 round 2. For this weeks entry, I bring us a cover of "Alheri Ubangiji" in English "Blessings of God".

The song talks about the unending blessings of God Almighty.. The blessings of the Lord are true and eternal, it adds no sorrow. Most times we missed out on these blessings because of lack of patience and misconduct. The blessings of God comes at the right time when God decides to make it happen. There are times of trials and temptations, most of us mistook those period of time as rejection from God. God is God and none can predict everything about Him, I mean, this is one of the great attributes that makes Him Kind over all.

It's not easy waiting on Him but at the right time, you'll find out it was worth waiting. I don't compromise when it comes to how God operates in my own life. I know what He has done for me which they are huge blessings for me already, just because He hasn't come to my bucket list yet doesn't mean He would not, the fact that He did showed up for me even when I did not trust Him and join the multitude to scream "crucify Him!" it's one big enough reason to ever be grateful to Him.

We become over anxious, full of anxiety when we fail to reminisce over the few things that are a huge blessings to us from God, it's God to seek for more but working with the consciousness of what you have at hand should boost your confidence and ease stress and anxiety. Indeed the blessings of God knows no end. I will forever be grateful to Him for everything even the bad days, I curse the day that will come, that will make me denounce God because of my problems. The road isn't easy and I pray God takes away that cup of reproach and shame from us who trust and believe in Him.

Buenos días y bienvenidos a mi participación para la segunda ronda de la semana 156 del festival de música Hive. Para esta semana, les traigo una versión de "Alheri Ubangiji" en inglés, "Bendiciones de Dios".

La canción habla de las infinitas bendiciones de Dios Todopoderoso. Las bendiciones del Señor son verdaderas y eternas, y no añaden tristeza. Muchas veces nos perdemos estas bendiciones por falta de paciencia y mala conducta. Las bendiciones de Dios llegan en el momento justo, cuando Dios decide que sucedan. Hay momentos de pruebas y tentaciones; la mayoría de nosotros confundimos esos momentos con un rechazo de Dios. Dios es Dios y nadie puede predecirlo todo sobre Él; es decir, este es uno de los grandes atributos que lo hacen bondadoso sobre todas las cosas.

No es fácil esperar en Él, pero en el momento oportuno, descubrirás que valió la pena esperar. No hago concesiones en cuanto a cómo Dios obra en mi vida. Sé lo que Él ha hecho por mí, y ya son enormes bendiciones. Que aún no haya entrado en mi lista de deseos no significa que no lo haga. El hecho de que Él se haya presentado ante mí incluso cuando no confiaba en Él y me uní a la multitud para gritar "¡Crucifícalo!" es una razón más que suficiente para estarle siempre agradecido.

Nos volvemos demasiado ansiosos, nos llenamos de ansiedad, cuando no recordamos las pocas cosas que Dios nos ha dado como grandes bendiciones. Es Dios quien nos da más, pero trabajar con la conciencia de lo que tenemos a mano debería aumentar nuestra confianza y aliviar el estrés y la ansiedad. De hecho, las bendiciones de Dios son infinitas. Siempre le estaré agradecido por todo, incluso por los días malos. Maldigo el día que vendrá, que me hará renunciar a Dios por mis problemas. El camino no es fácil y ruego a Dios que aleje esa copa de reproche y vergüenza de quienes confiamos y creemos en Él.

Hello everyone. Welcome to my entry for Hive music festival week 175 round 1.

It's with great joy I bring you this song cover of "Dusty Bibles" by Josiah, a powerful gospel artiste I came across lately last year on Facebook. I am inspired by Josiah's music because he seemed to know the right message for a generation like ours, specially at a time when people are forgetting their moral and core values as human beings on the surface of the earth.

Allot of people seem not to care anymore about their behaviours towards humanity, people forgot about what is actually real and true, then open-mindedly decided to accept evil as truth under the guise of freedom of choice and believes. I mostly don't engage in arguments trying to sway people into following my faith, if I fan you with few words of faith and you reject them, I hardly keep trying but what I least expect of us as human is to by all means act humane in our dealings. There are general values that every human needs to have. Beyond religion differences, we are humans and shouldn't forget to act like one.

People have sold out their hearts to their selfish evil desires, I've seen how comfortable people are against the natural things that we lived to see. We now assume that nature is a mistake, some certain people aren't supposed to be born black or white, some people should have been given birth to as male not female, while some female not male. As humans we should be able to reject evil if we see one, there's no justification for hurting and killing people, there's no good in promoting, teaching and advocating for evil.

I personally believe that when we embrace the word of God which is the Bible, we can be transformed as a nation.

Back to the song I recorded for my entry, allot of we Christians have placed high priorities over the things we want and have completely forget about God and His teachings which are found in the scriptures. We've idolized our phones and create the least time for God's words.
In the song "Dusty Bibles" by Josiah, he noted the fact the world is cruel to allot of people and it has caused so many people not to care about each other anymore but we can always be better when we go back to our Bibles and stop leaving them dusty, in there lies the solution to most of the problems we're facing in our world today..

Con gran alegría les traigo esta versión de "Dusty Bibles" de Josiah, un poderoso artista de gospel que descubrí el año pasado en Facebook. Me inspira la música de Josiah porque parecía tener el mensaje adecuado para una generación como la nuestra, especialmente en una época en la que la gente está olvidando sus valores morales y fundamentales como seres humanos en la faz de la tierra. Mucha gente parece no preocuparse ya por su comportamiento hacia la humanidad; olvidaron lo que es real y verdadero, y luego, con una mente abierta, decidieron aceptar el mal como verdad bajo el pretexto de la libertad de elección y creencias. Generalmente no me meto en discusiones intentando convencer a la gente de que siga mi fe. Si te avivo con unas pocas palabras de fe y las rechazas, casi no sigo intentándolo, pero lo que menos espero de nosotros como humanos es que, por supuesto, actuemos con humanidad en nuestro trato. Hay valores generales que todo ser humano necesita tener. Más allá de las diferencias religiosas, somos humanos y no deberíamos olvidarnos de actuar como tal.

La gente ha entregado su corazón a sus deseos egoístas y malvados. He visto lo cómoda que se siente la gente con las cosas naturales que hemos vivido para ver. Ahora asumimos que la naturaleza es un error; algunas personas no deberían haber nacido negras o blancas; algunas deberían haber nacido como hombres y no como mujeres, mientras que otras deberían haber nacido como mujeres y no como hombres. Como humanos, deberíamos poder rechazar el mal si lo vemos; no hay justificación para herir y matar personas; no sirve de nada promover, enseñar y defender el mal.

Personalmente, creo que cuando abrazamos la palabra de Dios, que es la Biblia, podemos transformarnos como nación.

Volviendo a la canción que grabé para mi entrada, muchos cristianos hemos priorizado lo que deseamos y nos hemos olvidado por completo de Dios y sus enseñanzas, que se encuentran en las Escrituras. Hemos idolatrado nuestros teléfonos y dedicamos muy poco tiempo a la palabra de Dios. En la canción "Dusty Bibles" de Josiah, se menciona la crueldad del mundo con mucha gente, lo que ha provocado que muchos dejen de preocuparse por los demás. Sin embargo, siempre podemos ser mejores si volvemos a nuestras Biblias y dejamos de dejarlas polvorientas. Ahí reside la solución a la mayoría de los problemas que enfrentamos hoy en día.

Hello everyone. Welcome to my blog. This is my entry for Hive music festival week 174 round 3. This week I bring us a cover of "Nagode" by Dunsin featuring David D.
Nagode from the Hausa dialect in Nigeria is transcribe as "Thank you" in English. This is a gratitude song to God almighty for everything He has done and still doing. The context of the song connotes how great is our God right from time immemorial till date, how he has kept His word in our lives, how He has proven beyond every reasonable doubt that He's a true father to those who believe and trust in Him.

Thanksgiving is a deliberate act that opens doors doors more of God's blessings. It's a normality of life. When you show gratitude to your boss, parents, elders or whoever that rendered some form of help to you whether little, you are indirectly preparing theirs minds to still bless you whenever the opportunity comes for them to. Lack of gratitude is a sign of ungratefulness. We are mostly found guilty of that act specially when the one thing we require from God, our parents, bosses etc isn't granted to us, we tend to forget every other thing that was initially a given to us despite they're the majority.

Most times we see people quickly forget the 99 good that has been done to them then, create scenes over that one thing that didn't turn out well for them. It happens in our relationships with each other and other times transfer such attitudes to even our creator. The Bible says we should give thanks and praise at all times, it doesn't matter how little your prayers were answered or not answered at all. The thing there is, we are wired with emotions but gracefully blessed with senses. You wouldn't be completely happy when your request aren't met as you wished on several occasions, and all these occasions you're expected to still show gratitude to God, if you understand the dealings of God, you will pray you never show any form of ungratefulness even in those period of hard times you're facing.

Gratitude is the best way to tell God you need Him to do more perhaps, it's just another smartest way to capture His heart over that one thing you want Him to do for you. Generalmente somos hallados culpables de ese acto, especialmente cuando no se nos concede lo único que requerimos de Dios, nuestros padres, jefes, etc., y tendemos a olvidar todo lo demás que inicialmente nos fue dado, a pesar de ser la mayoría.

Muchas veces vemos a personas olvidar rápidamente las 99 cosas buenas que se les han hecho y armar escándalos por algo que no les salió bien. Esto sucede en nuestras relaciones y, en otras ocasiones, incluso trasladamos estas actitudes a nuestro Creador. La Biblia dice que debemos dar gracias y alabar en todo momento, sin importar cuán poco o nada respondidas sean tus oraciones. La cuestión es que estamos conectados con las emociones, pero bendecidos con los sentidos. No serías completamente feliz si tus peticiones no se cumplen como deseaste en varias ocasiones, y en todas estas ocasiones se espera que sigas mostrando gratitud a Dios. Si comprendes su obrar, orarás para nunca mostrar ingratitud, incluso en los momentos difíciles que enfrentas.

La gratitud es quizás la mejor manera de decirle a Dios que necesitas que haga más; es simplemente otra forma inteligente de conquistar su corazón con esa cosa que deseas que haga por ti. Me encanta esta canción de Dunsin. El concepto era genial, la instrumentación era muy precisa y alucinante. Espero que disfruten de mi breve pieza.

Hello everyone...
This is for my entry for Afri-tunes week 203. I bring us a cover of "Ji Adua Ta" by Kaestrings.

It's a song from the Hausa dialect translated as "Hear my prayer".
Everyone wants God to fulfil their heart desires in one way but only few think about the other way. We mustn't get everything we want in life before we become fulfilled or we are happy, I recently took this words to heart and it turned out to comfort me and heal most of my anxieties. I have a long list of what I want from God but at the end, He is good and He's got the master list who am I to judge Him.

We gotta pay attention to see real solutions the way they come and not the basically the way we always imagined them to be. It's not wrong to have prayer requests and tender them onto God, it's only wrong when we demand answers our own way. It doesn't have to please you all the time. Pray and keep focus on the things God wants for you even from the things you actually want from Him.

We'll keep praying and mostly be thankful to God however He decides to turn the situation..

It's another great day to share with you all the progressive impact of consistency and passion.

I saw a video by Chris Mouten, not only was I attracted to the result of his consistency act, I was motivated by the simple life illustration on his video..

It's sometimes difficult to make that first step of trying but when you pick up the courage and start only then you have tendencies of reaching your goals. Starting isn't the same as staying resolute. Consistency is a whole new fundamental approach of achieving set goals. Many started and stopped on the way, many gave up because of failure, in as much as there are things we can't control (The inevitables) we must learn not to easily give up on our goals and so, here I am pushing more stronger and more optimistic about that goal physique, about that healthy state of mind and body, about building that esteem I want to have. It's not easy but today is another good day to try..

Back to my technique for chest and arm.

I used the simple dumbbell curls to train. I focused much more on building my arms and that's the best for me. Looking forth towards trying the chest-supported dumbbell curls. I have to work on my weights because I locally created it and I had some errors which makes it difficult for me to do the hammer curls.

The second technique for the day is bench press which unfortunately I couldn't attach it to my video because I wanted to make the video shorter..

The closed dumbbell bench press was for chest. I did so many reps and figured out I can do better without having to count how many times I can go a round. I think it's most preferable to lift that weight until the last rep that seem almost impossible to do. Breaking limits is the goal but attaining my limit doesn't directly signify growth, it's training but doesn't often have visible gains.

It's been awhile here but I'm happy I made it in with an entry for this week. And God said in His word "Call on me, I will answer and I will show you great and mighty things which you do not expect". I don't know about you but I call Him an awesome God, a reliable God and the most perfect being that existed before time began.

I don't care how the end turns out to be but His words has made me trust Him and believe in His will and supremacy. There's no any other that wants the best for me like my God and so it feels more safer to call on Him even when it seems like His not working, I know for sure, He never stops working...

Happy New week and welcome to my blog. Today I share with us a bass guitar cover of "Buga" by Kiss Daniel a popular Nigerian artiste. "Buga" is originated from the Nigerian pidgin English which means to make boast or show off. The song has funny lyrics but with some good meaning attach to it.

Most times we forget to take care of ourselves because we're too busy looking for how to make ends meet, we live under pressure and don't bother to check up on our own wellbeing.

When we forget to value ourselves and show some respect to ourselves, we tend to loose value in front of the public hence people won't see the need to value us.

We do not necessarily have to flaunt our achievements as the song implies but we can in another way round celebrate our achievements wether small or big, that will help us view ourselves indifferently and create that sense of completeness in us.

You can place yourself under bondage without even knowing because when you see people and began to feel less of yourself you will not interact freely, you will always want to bury your heads under reproach and not sedation meanwhile, every human is supposed to be able to defend themselves, not necessarily show pride but everyone has to cultivate some form of ego as well that makes it difficult for random people to just get over them.

Hello everyone. Welcome to my blog. This is my entry for Hive music festival week 165 round 3. This week I bring us a cover of "Forever Young" by Alphaville. It's been awhile since I made a voice cover and thought about doing that today. I find myself glued to this song lately maybe because I've not been constantly making Rap covers:) but I think it's a song that fits the moment for me.

We all expecting the best but it's important to anticipate for the worst too. Nobody wants to die young, many people prefer not to grow old and that's understandable because it's really hard to accept that you're going to die someday. Humans had the privilege to create so many unimaginable stuffs but can't create life which tells us something very important we need to pay attention to. God created nature and all it's inhabitants, every living thing shall taste dead in one way or the other hence the need to identify purpose and live in the reality of who you are and what you represent.

Nobody has all the time to do everything they want or achieve everything they want, someday, somehow, we are all leaving. This song creates that consciousness in me that we may desire to gain control over some stuffs in life but nature will definitely happen at the right time.

I've learnt to expect less and live in the present. We're so caught up in our expectations forgetting what blessings that comes with each day and time until we realize we don't have it anymore. If I can afford a roof over my head, food for myself and family then the luxury can come later. I'm not being timid or petty about my goals but why should I live under tension and anxiety when these things will come at their appointed time. This isn't laziness, it's me prioritizing peace over them all, the future has allot to offer but while we expect what's on the way coming, let's enjoy what's here right now because we're not promised tomorrow!

Hacía tiempo que no hacía una versión de voz y pensé en hacerla hoy. Últimamente me encuentro enganchado a esta canción, quizá porque no he estado haciendo versiones de rap constantemente :) pero creo que es una canción perfecta para mí.

Todos esperamos lo mejor, pero también es importante anticiparse a lo peor. Nadie quiere morir joven; mucha gente prefiere no envejecer, y es comprensible, porque es muy difícil aceptar que algún día morirás. Los humanos tuvimos el privilegio de crear cosas inimaginables, pero no podemos crear vida, lo que nos dice algo muy importante a lo que debemos prestar atención. Dios creó la naturaleza y a todos sus habitantes; todo ser vivo sabrá a muerto de una forma u otra. De ahí la necesidad de identificar un propósito y vivir en la realidad de quién eres y lo que representas.

Nadie tiene todo el tiempo para hacer todo lo que quiere ni lograr todo lo que desea; algún día, de alguna manera, todos nos iremos. Esta canción me hace consciente de que podemos desear controlar algunas cosas en la vida, pero la naturaleza definitivamente aparecerá en el momento adecuado.

He aprendido a esperar menos y a vivir el presente. Estamos tan atrapados en nuestras expectativas que olvidamos las bendiciones que trae cada día y cada momento hasta que nos damos cuenta de que ya no las tenemos. Si puedo permitirme un techo, comida para mí y mi familia, entonces ese lujo puede venir después. No soy tímido ni mezquino con mis metas, pero ¿por qué debería vivir bajo tensión y ansiedad cuando estas cosas llegarán en su momento? No es pereza, es que priorizo la paz por encima de todo. El futuro tiene mucho que ofrecer, pero mientras esperamos lo que está por venir, disfrutemos lo que tenemos ahora mismo, ¡porque no tenemos un mañana prometido!

Hello everyone...
This is for my entry for Afri-tunes week 195. I bring us a bass cover if "The Blood Still Speaks" a song composed by Zuri. This is a song that highlights the predicament of my country Nigeria. It's a song for the moment. Zuri nailed every angle of our story at the moment. The country is messed up, allot of things aren't working out the way it used to be

Insecurity is now at it's peak, some key government officials have hands in it and the government of Nigeria are being complicit about the whole issues. People are sacrificed by the thousands for selfish political reasons and it's very unfortunate that Christians are the most victims of these evil act from our government. They provided a hostile system for us, nothing is favoring the average man and yet the most simplest of all that we begg of them which is security, they can't provide that for us.

There has been mass slaughter of Christians in the country but the government are denying. No doubts we have a pinch of sand of the Muslim faithfuls that are somehow victims too but all is as a result of the Islamic terror groups that was nurtured by their people for their selfish and wicked reasons. This song by Zuri talks allot about our entire story. The blood of the innocent still speaks, their silent cry is making massive waves across the earth and justice will surely prevail. I've not been directly affected but I can feel the impact, if my brothers from the same faith area hurt, if innocent people are paying for the crimes they didn't commit, it creates allot of course to worry.

I don't have to wait till it gets to my door step before I cry out or take it serious but that's what my country people fail to understand. Some of them feel since they're not affected yet, they'll continue to make gest of the whole issue. I don't pray this evil gets to their doorstep, it's horrible and we must create awareness about it, we will continue to echo our pain, make efforts until help comes out way...

Good day and welcome to my blog, this is my fitness journey Day 2.

Today I'm sharing my progress on how I'm building a broad chest. In the video above I used two techniques; open dumbbells and closed dumbbells. All of them were aimed at broadening the chest.

The open dumbbell bench press was for my chest line or separation. I did so many reps that I can't count but I can go more than 30 reps as at this moment. The goal is to increase more reps on each day of progress. The more work is done, the more gain we achieve here..

The second technique in the video which is the closed dumbbell bench press was aimed at the chest muscles directly. I did so many reps but I can go 30 reps at once. The two (Open dumbbells/Closed Dumbbell bench press) are very good at targeting the whole of the chest muscles.

It was straining but that's how exactly it should be. I don't lift heavy at the moment, light weights is the way to go here, I'm aiming for higher number reps then gradually lift heavier weights in future.

Another thing that matters very well I realized in the fitness world is that you must have a good diet to compliment the tears in your muscles, proteins and vegetables helps you heal and gain fast!

I have prepared a mixture of grains such as; guinea corn, Peanuts, soya bean, dates, tiger nuts and few other leguminous seeds. It's very rich in fibers and of protein which helps allot. It keeps me stay away from wanting to take too much soda drinks or sugars. I usually crave water after drinking the mixture (Tumbrown) and it keeps me full and energetic. I'll arrange a comprehensive post about the kind of diets I used to take in my fitness journey soon but for now, let me pause here as we interact in the comment section...

Hello everyone...
This is for my entry for Afri-tunes week 194. I bring us a bass cover if "Ride with me" a song by B-young. It's a love song with so much romantic expressions, I love the song because of the serenity it gives when you're around listening to the song with loved one, the song makes more meaning and speaks more louder than when you're listening to it alone.

B-young spoke about love beyond mere impressions, he spoke about how love can you feel around someone, you can notice no flaws, no imperfections, just the two of you making waves and creating memories. Love is beautiful and more valuable when you are with the right person, we will continue to talk about the positivity people can find in love because in a world like ours, a lot of people are giving up on love. The world was never cruel to man, we all made it like that because the perfect creator created the world perfect and said we should love one another just like we love ourselves but the weight balance isn't straight anymore. We "humans" choose to do the other way round, we became selfish and deceitfully wicked above all things thereby making our own world unbearable for each other.

We still have good people out there and I hope you connect with them sooner, it's way difficult to but you'll be very thankful one day if you never give up.

One last thing. You gotta love yourself first before you can express genuine and sincere love to anyone out there else you'll be pretending and will never get to know how this true love feels like.

Good day and welcome to my blog, this is my fitness journey Day 1.

I kick-started my fitness training already and I'm glad to share my progress for Day1 of building bigger shoulders (3D Shoulders).

So with my Dumbbells, I used the possible right movements to target the essential muscles around my shoulders.

If you watch the video above, I displayed two of the exercises I did, I couldn't record the last one for rare delts and shoulders because of low power on my phone but that will be next time.

The first exercise. I targeted the front delts, raising the dumbbells to form angle 90° from my hands to my chest.

The second. I targeted the side delts. I turned the dumbbells horizontally and raised them exactly 90° from my chest. This was more painful:( but we keep it rolling.

The last was the rare delts. Bend my back facing the ground perpendicularly, then lifted the dumbbells from the ground to side.
Some few body aches specially around the shoulders but that's normal because it's been awhile.

Meanwhile, we keep building and transforming. Hope to meet people here of same interest so we keep building together...

It's another time to share music with the community and today I bring to us a song titled response to Dax "Dear God" by Crusade M C.

I sometime ago made a cover of "Dear God" by Dax when I was enjoying the song although I had mixed thoughts about the song ever since I heard it. It's a song that talks about reality and questions going on in the minds of many believers out there but almost blaspheming God. I had to stay away from the song to avoid committing sing despite the beats and choice of rhymes by Dax was appealing to me in the song.

I got to listen to several responses from gospel rappers about songs that they feel doesn't seat well with them. That prompt me to search for a response to Dax music "Dear God" cause I needed to hear the other side of the story from another perspective. Crusade M.C did justice to the song and I loved it. I'm a fan of Bizzle and Gemstone and I had wish they also say something about the Daxs "Dear God".

But all good, this one by M.C answered some of the questions Daxs was asking in his music and also scolded him on the need to approach his Maker with some respect. Imagine challenging your maker and telling Him who to sent to you to deliver His message? Imagine challenging Him why He hasn't come yet since He said He's coming soon. There's difference between asking and challenging, what I saw Dax doing was more of challenging God in that particular song. Do I love Dax? Perfectly yes! I love his music and creativity, very talented super star with great gifts and blessings from the most high so I don't have issues with him but just this very song I have listened to from him.

I'm a fan of Dax music but I'm God's fan because He loved me first so I gotta make choices based on what pleases God than what pleases my own self and anybody else. I still listen to some of his songs that are inspiring, pick the message that's meant for me and learn what I'm supposed to learn..

Good day and welcome to my entry for week 160 round 1 of Hive music festival. Today I'm with y'all a bass cover of "Yar Auta" by Panam Bande. This is a beautiful song and in the Hausa dialect. "Yar Auta" refers to the last child of the house and in this case a female.

Panam Bande brought forth the idea of parents to children relationship describing how God is able to care for His people like His children. In the context of this song, it's not just the usual care and attention every child gets from his or her parent for that special attention the last born usually gets in the house. If the physical parents could love their children as much as we see them do, how much more would it make sense when God treats a man like that? Last children in the family usually receive some special treatment compared to others at home because they are tender and mild, everyone in the family is older than them so it'll be an error not to look after them specially.

In such situations, they hardly face the complications in the family, they aren't bombarded with work at the early stage and they get to bypass punishments even for their actions because they're considered little and native of whatever they're doing.

This song describes how life can turn out to be bed of roses for whosoever that has find favor in God's sight. God's love is impeccable, it'll be an honor for you and any other person to be wrapped under His warm embrace and love. I love the song so much and got to listened to the song from the singer in the yesterday's street praise I attended around here in the city of Plateau. It's a great privilege to witness such an amazing moment, will hopefully attend today's own and even tomorrow's.

Panam Bande planteó la idea de la relación entre padres e hijos, describiendo cómo Dios cuida de su pueblo como si fueran sus hijos. En el contexto de esta canción, no se trata solo del cuidado y la atención habituales que todo niño recibe de sus padres, sino de la atención especial que suele recibir el hijo menor en la casa. Fue un gran privilegio presenciar un momento tan increíble y espero poder asistir a la de hoy y también a la de mañana.
