Sé que hay mucha gente que dice que "Los Artistas se mueren de hambre" pero creo que es nuestra responsabilidad combatir esos dichos y hacernos cargo de nuestra carrera artística.

Si has visto mi contenido antes sabrás que soy actriz de teatro musical y por lo tanto amo demasiado verlo. En esta ocasión les comparto mi experiencia viendo Matilda El Musical (en Caracas, Venezuela). Fue una experiencia extraordinaria y estoy muy agradecida porque en este 2023 pude ver dos musicales con calidad de Broadway en mi ciudad natal: Los Miserables y Matilda El Musical.

Quedé maravillada con el talento tan increíble de estos niños y lo divertido que fue este musical.

Hello Hivers! I'm once again back on one of my favorite Hive communities - Bee on the Stage.

If you've seen my content before you'll know that I'm a musical theater actress and therefore I love watching it too much. This time I am sharing with you my experience watching Matilda El Musical (in Caracas, Venezuela). It was an extraordinary experience and I am very grateful because in this 2023 I was able to see two Broadway quality musicals in my hometown: Les Miserables and Matilda The Musical.

I was blown away by the incredible talent of these kids and how much fun this musical was.

¡Hola Hivers! Estoy feliz de estar nuevamente participando en el Hive Open Mic. En esta oportunidad en la semana #189 el tema es "My Perception" y decidí interpretar "traitor" de Olivia Rodrigo, una canción que forma parte de su primer álbum: Sour.

Elegí esta canción para esta temática porque nos cuenta la percepción o perspectiva de una chica que termina su relación y a las dos semanas su ex pareja comienza a salir con una chica sobre la que justamente habían tenido muchas discusiones por celos. En esta percepción de la chica está más que claro que su ex pareja le fue infiel, y aún sí no fue así de igual manera lo considera un traidor.

Hi Hivers! I'm happy to be again participating in the Hive Open Mic. This time in week #189 the theme is "My Perception" and I decided to perform "traitor" by Olivia Rodrigo, a song that is part of her first album: Sour.

I chose this song for this theme because it tells us the perception or perspective that her relationship ends and two weeks later her ex-partner starts dating a girl about whom they had just had many arguments due to jealousy. In this perception of the girl it is more than clear that her ex-partner was unfaithful, and even if it was not so, she still considers him a traitor.

¡Hola Hivers! Nuevamente estoy participando en el Hive Open Mic, esta vez en la semana #186 con el tema: Cinema. Debo admitir que este tema me emocionó muchísimo porque hago teatro musical, así que el cine musical me fascina.

En esta ocasión tenía pensado participar con otra canción, pero resulta que ayer tuve una canción de Vocal Coaching super productiva en la que logré mejorar una de mis canciones favoritas de cine musical: Don't Rain on My Parade. Esta canción es de la película Funny Girl (1968) protagonizada por Barbra Streisand y en la que podemos ver la vida de Fanny Brice, una cantante y actriz que murió en 1951.

Hi Hivers! Once again I'm participating in the Hive Open Mic, this time in week #186 with the topic: Cinema. I must admit that this theme got me really excited because I do musical theater, so musical cinema fascinates me.

This time I was planning to participate with another song, but it turns out that yesterday I had a super productive Vocal Coaching song in which I managed to improve one of my favorite musical film songs: Don't Rain on My Parade. This song is from the movie Funny Girl (1968) starring Barbra Streisand and in which we can see the life of Fanny Brice, a singer and actress who died in 1951.

What is Art Therapy?

Art Therapy is a tool that allows you to do introspection, personal assessment, neuro-linguistic programming and manifestation using art as a resource.
Personally I love this tool because I have always thought that art allows you to heal... And Art Therapy proves it is so.

Objective of the Exercise

What this exercise allows is that you get to know yourself better and discover things in you that perhaps are not at first sight and you have to go a little deeper into yourself and your emotions to discover them.

Pero hoy particularmente quise hablar sobre el porque la música de Taylor Swift es tan terapeútica y eso provoca que la gente en los conciertos incluso llore y deje salir cosas reprimidas de su pasado.

La música tiene un efecto muy bonito en las personas y puede ser extremadamente terapeútica. La próxima vez que escuches a tu artista favorito pregúntate: ¿Qué puedo sacar de esto que estoy escuchando? ¿Cómo puede ayudarme a crecer como persona?

Hi Hivers! How are you? In case you didn't know, I'm Swiftie. Taylor is definitely my favorite pop artist and it's because I honestly think she's more than just a pop singer, she's a true poet.

¡Hola Hivers! Hoy quiero dejarles un cover de una de mis canciones favoritas y que tiene un gran valor sentimental para mí puesto que es una canción que mi papá me enseñó a apreciar desde pequeña e incluso me dice que quiere que se la cante en su funeral el día que muera.

Esta canción se trata de Feeling Good, originalmente de Nina Simone (una versión hermosa y que debe ser muy apreciada) aunque en esta ocasión estoy interpretando la versión de Michael Bublé que es mi favorita por lo intensa que es.

Algo que me molesta un poco es que he visto a personas interpretar esta canción en un tono sexual cuando este no es el mensaje de la misma en lo absoluto. Es una canción que habla sobre ser feliz, sentirse bien (y por eso mi padre quiere que se la cante en su funeral, para él representa el haberse ido con ese sentimiento).

En fin ¡Espero que disfruten mi interpretación!

Hi Hivers! Today I want to leave you a cover of one of my favorite songs and that has a great sentimental value for me since it is a song that my dad taught me to appreciate since I was a little girl and he even tells me that he wants me to sing it at his funeral the day he dies.

This song is about Feeling Good, originally by Nina Simone (a beautiful version and one that should be cherished) although on this occasion I am performing Michael Bublé's version which is my favorite because of how intense it is.

Something that bothers me a bit is that I have seen people interpret this song in a sexual tone when this is not the message of the song at all. It's a song that talks about being happy, feeling good (and that's why my dad wants me to sing it at his funeral, for him it represents leaving with that feeling).

¡Hola Hivers! Hace tiempo no publicaba en la comunidad Hive's Red Carpet, pero hace poco me estoy volviendo más amante de la moda...Y es que algo dificil especialmente para chicas gorditas como yo es encontrar referentes e inspiración en la moda para vestirnos. Pero ultimamente he empezado a seguir a creadoras plus size que me han inspirado un montón con sus outfits y hoy quiero convertirme un poco con ella e inspirar a otras chicas con cuerpos diferentes.

Este outfit me gustó mucho, ultimamente amo usar vestidos porque son muy cómodos y me hacen sentir algo sexy también jajajaja. Me gusta mucho combinarlos con botas, y amé esta combinación en particular porque tenía como la misma paleta de colores.

La única desventaja que sufrí con este outfit fue Acoso Callejero, unos hombres pararon un carro mientras cruzaba la calle para gritarme cochinadas...Algo que lamentablemente es bastante común siendo mujer y usando vestido, pero decidí no dejar que eso me desanimara. Disfruté mucho usar este outfit.

Hi Hivers! It's been a while since I posted in the Hive´s Red Carpet community, but recently I'm becoming more of a fashion lover... And it's something difficult especially for chubby girls like me is to find references and inspiration in fashion to dress ourselves. But lately I have started to follow plus size creators that have inspired me a lot with their outfits and today I want to become a little bit with her and inspire other girls with different bodies.

I really liked this outfit, lately I love wearing dresses because they are very comfortable and they make me feel sexy too hahahaha. I really like to combine them with boots, and I loved this particular combination because it had like the same color palette.

The only downside I suffered with this outfit was street harassment, some men stopped a car while I was crossing the street to yell dirty words at me...Something that unfortunately is quite common being a woman and wearing a dress, but I decided not to let that discourage me. I really enjoyed wearing this outfit.
