The song I’ll be doing today is called "See what the lord has done" by Nathaniel Bassey, he one of my most favorite gospel artists. This song expresses gratitude and awe of God’s blessings and miracles, it is a song of appreciation to God for the things he has done and he’s goodness.

Hello my music friends it’s another week again on the hive music series and as usual it’s always very exciting.

On this week’s theme “Zodiac” I’ll be doing a song called “7 days” and it’s originally done by “Craig David” a 2000s R&B pop singer. The song is basically a love song and it talks about a romantic encounter where the artist asks his love interest to spend seven days with him and get to intensely know each other.

7days was about getting to know someone, spending time with them and seeing where it goes, I hope you love it as you listen

Hello my music friends hope you’ll waxing strong. It’s another week again and every new week comes with a different kind of excitement. Thank to the @hiveopenmic community for letting me be part of this move it’s always with great pleasure.

On this week’s theme "The taste of betrayal” I’ll be doing a song called “2002” by Anne Marie, this song was released in 2018 and according to the artist she was inspired by her childhood memories and nostalgia for the early 2000s , the song reflects on her past relationships, friends, breakups and growing up.

I picked this song because I think growing up wasn’t easy for most of us, some of us had to stay in different homes and experiencing different kind of people, friends that betrayed and abandoned us at one point in our lives, heartbreaks etc It is not an easy job growing up and I hope you like the song as you listen.

Hello my music friends, it’s another amazing week again in the @Afrittunes community. I always look forward to every week with lots of excitement to participate and see some top notch performances.

The song I’ll be doing today is called “Golibe” and its originally done my "Flavour" The song is a love song and the word “Golibe” translates to “Rejoice” in English. He conveys so much love in the song that you might fall in love after listening to the song.

Hello my music friends, hope you’ll waxing strong. Was watching some pretty amazing entries yesterday on this week’s Hive music festival. It’s always something i look forward to so I couldn’t wait to summit my own entry.

Hola mis amigos de la música, espero que estén fortaleciéndose. Ayer estuve viendo algunas entradas bastante sorprendentes en el festival de música Hive de esta semana. Siempre es algo que espero con ansias, así que no podía esperar a llegar a la cima de mi propia entrada.

The song I’ll be doing today is called “Give myself away” the song is originally composed by *William McDowell* and *Withholding Nothing* by the same composer, they are both Christian songs. They are popular songs in most of our churches here and picking this songs was quite challenging because I never planned on doing the songs with a guitar.

La canción que haré hoy se llama “Give me away” la canción está compuesta originalmente por *William McDowell* y *Withholding Nothing* por el mismo compositor, ambas son canciones cristianas. Son canciones populares en la mayoría de nuestras iglesias aquí y elegirlas fue todo un desafío porque nunca planeé tocarlas con una guitarra.

This week has been a crazy one for me because currently we are on lockdown and it’ll last about two weeks, this is cause of the crisis in my region and we have been having suffering with frequent power outages. It’s pretty challenging because most times you have to work on the powers schedule instead of yours and doing your entries during very noisy or uncomfortable periods cause you’re unaware of how long it’ll last.

Esta semana ha sido una locura para mí porque actualmente estamos encerrados y durará aproximadamente dos semanas, esto es debido a la crisis en mi región y hemos estado sufriendo con frecuentes cortes de energía. Es bastante desafiante porque la mayoría de las veces tienes que trabajar en el cronograma de poderes en lugar del tuyo y hacer tus entradas durante períodos muy ruidosos o incómodos porque no sabes cuánto durará.

I woke up today morning and there was no power in which I planned that any small chance I get I’ll do my entry with my desired instrument for the song, so I left for sports in the morning hoping when I get back it must have been back, when I got home it wasn’t back so I changed my plans.

Me desperté hoy por la mañana y no había energía en la que planeé que, en cualquier pequeña oportunidad que tuviera, haría mi entrada con el instrumento que deseaba para la canción, así que salí a hacer deporte en la mañana con la esperanza de que cuando regresara debería haberlo hecho. Había regresado, cuando llegué a casa no había regresado así que cambié mis planes.

I waited for power until I couldn’t so I just decided to do it with my guitar which wasn’t bad, I really wanted to use my piano though so I could layer many voices and give a different feel to it. I hope you love this version with the guitar though.

Esperé a tener potencia hasta que ya no pude, así que decidí hacerlo con mi guitarra, lo cual no estaba mal, pero realmente quería usar mi piano para poder superponer muchas voces y darle una sensación diferente. Espero que te guste esta versión con guitarra.

So this song is basically talking about submitting yourself to God in other to be use by him in spreading Gods word. And Submitting to God means accepting that your you belong to him and even your life belongs to him so he can use you in anyway he sees fit. Most Christian communities love to sing and listen to songs like this because it makes them feel closer to God.

Entonces, esta canción básicamente habla de someterse a Dios en otros para que él lo use en la difusión de la palabra de Dios. Y Someterte a Dios significa aceptar que tú le perteneces a él e incluso tu vida le pertenece para que él pueda usarte en lo que crea conveniente. A la mayoría de las comunidades cristianas les encanta cantar y escuchar canciones como ésta porque las hace sentir más cerca de Dios.

Hello music lovers, I've been feeling pretty sick this week hence my late entry, i am much better now though . Been watching some pretty amazing entries this week too and for this week's theme "Always grateful"
I'll be doing a song called "Ain't got you" originally done by Alicia Keys.

She wrote this song following the death of an R&b female singer in the early 2000s who died in a plane crash, her mind was concentrated on "what matters". Sometimes we focus our minds on things that don't really matter and forget the things that matter and we only get to realize that when its already late.
