The song I'm bringing you today is from the album "Hermana Mía" by Colombian artist Olga Valkiria, released in 2024. This singer-songwriter is the daughter of composer José Faxir Sánchez. She has released five albums. In this song, she expresses the great love and pride she feels for her sisters.

I immediately identified with this song because I come from a family where we were 13 siblings, both girls and boys. We were raised by parents who instilled in us great values, respect, and love for each other. I must emphasize that I am proud of all of them, and even though many are no longer here, the love we profess for each other continues, both in the distance and in time.

A sister is someone who knows you as you are, without a mask, without a filter. They are the ones who accompany you in your moments of laughter, sadness, on the bitter days and the sweet ones, the one who tells you, "I'm here if you need me."

Siblings, in the end, are branches of a tree watered with love by their parents. I say this based on my experience.

I thank God for my parents and each of my siblings, and if I had to be born again, I would choose them again.

Tengo que reconocer que cuando leí la temática me puso a pensar ya que no soy buena en los dibujos. Pero a la vez también me traslade al pasado dónde veía muy buenas series de dibujos animados y películas bellísimas de cuentos infantiles donde le daba vida a personajes y animales. Fantástica época.

El dibujo es una representación gráfica, siendo una herramienta para expresar y comunicar muchos propósitos como emociones, ideas, pensamientos y experiencias propias lo que llamamos dibujos artísticos , se destaca mucha la creatividad. Que es dónde enfocaré mi visión hoy.

La canción que les interpretaré está semana llena mi corazón de orgullo ya que el autor es nada más y nada menos que mi hermano Armando Linares, conocido aquí en el Hive como @armandolnrs , ya fallecido pero que deja un gran legado de canciones, composiciones y arreglos a nivel musical. Está canción "Osito Gris" es una de ellas, la escribió cuando ejercia como Profesor de Música en Preescolar, es un cuento que relata la historia de un oso que vivía feliz en el bosque rodeado de naturaleza y libre. Pero que fué trasladado a la Ciudad trayendo como consecuencia una gran tristeza por quitarle su libertad, al ver que podía morir lo vuelven a llevar a su bosque donde el oso vuelve hacer feliz. Cómo verán nos trae un gran mensaje ecológico de respetar, proteger y cuidar de nuestro animales. Quiero destacar no solo el trabajo de mi hermano Armando sino también el de mi hermano César Linares conocido aquí en esta plataforma del Hive como @osomeltrozo , quien realizó la pista de esta canción y un arreglo coral a tres voces para la Coral Proyart de la cual soy integrante. Cesar no sólo es un extraordinario músico, desde niño tuvo ese don de moldear figura con plastilina y de dibujar muy bien. Estás láminas de los dibujos que aparecen al fondo de esta canción son su creación artísticas, utilizando para ello la inteligencia artificial. Para mí una gran obra de arte. Hoy quiero rendirle un homenaje a mis amados hermanos y destacar su gran trabajo musical y artisticos y presentárselo al mundo. Orgullosa de ellos.

With you once again, @nellynohemi, I'm very happy, grateful, and proud to be here sharing with you today. I'm bringing you a children's song titled "The Little Gray Bear." I hope you enjoy my participation.

I have to admit that when I read the theme, it made me think, since I'm not good at drawing. But at the same time, it also took me back in time, where I watched great cartoons and beautiful children's storybooks where I brought characters and animals to life. It was a fantastic time.

Drawing is a graphic representation, a tool for expressing and communicating many purposes, such as emotions, ideas, thoughts, and personal experiences. What we call artistic drawings, it emphasizes creativity. This is where I'll focus my vision today.

The song I'll be performing for you this week fills my heart with pride, as the author is none other than my brother Armando Linares, known here at the Hive as @armandolnrs, who has passed away but left behind a great legacy of songs, compositions, and musical arrangements. This song, "Osito Gris," is one of them. He wrote it when he was a preschool music teacher. It's a story that tells the tale of a bear who lived happily in the forest, surrounded by nature and free. But he was transferred to the city, causing great sadness for having his freedom taken away. Seeing that he could die, they took him back to his forest, where the bear is happy again. As you can see, it brings us a great ecological message of respecting, protecting, and caring for our animals. I want to highlight not only the work of my brother Armando but also that of my brother César Linares, known here on this Hive platform as @osomeltrozo, who composed the track for this song and a three-part choral arrangement for the Coral Proyart, of which I am a member. César is not only an extraordinary musician; since he was a child, he has had the gift of molding figures with clay and drawing very well. These sheets of drawings that appear in the background of this song are his artistic creations, using artificial intelligence. For me, a great work of art. Today I want to pay tribute to my beloved brothers and highlight their great musical and artistic work and present it to the world. I am proud of them.

I hope you enjoy it.

"No sé Tú" (I Don't Know You) was written by the great singer-songwriter Armando Manzanero and has been listed among this famous artist's best songs. Today I bring you Luis Miguel's version, recorded in 1991 on his album "Romance".
Its lyrics emphasize nostalgia and the longing to think about that loved one who left a lasting mark on your life, remembering their kisses and hugs, and longing to see them again. I thought this song was perfect for this week's theme because of its lyrics.

This week's theme, "Hug me," calls for some reflection, I think, because often in the hectic life we live, we forget to tell our loved ones how much we love them and even to hug them, unaware that time is precious and passes so quickly. Unaware that tomorrow may be too late, since we don't know how long those people will be with us or if we will be there for them tomorrow. Hugs are signs of love that help strengthen relationships between couples and families. I'll tell you that when my mother was alive and I would go to her maternal home to visit her, I would often go with problems that would bring down my spirits, but when she hugged me, I felt as if she recharged me, and all those adversities became simpler and more bearable. With this example, I want to show you what a hug from a mother can do for us, and also one from your partner, your children, your grandchildren, siblings, and friends. I am blessed to be surrounded by wonderful people who make me see that every day of my life is worthwhile and always bring out the best in me.

So take care of every person in your life, tell them and show them how much you love them. You never know when that will be the last hug you'll ever give them.

The sound of the bell symbolizes a call to consciousness and a connection with the divine.

I consider this mountain theme fabulous since I live surrounded by them; in fact, part of my yard is a hill. Living surrounded by mountains, the greenery of different species of vegetation, and fresh air is something that invites us to communicate with our emotional and spiritual side. It brings us to a direct connection with God and ourselves. At least for me, when I go out to water my plants, I take a moment to meditate, correct my mistakes, and pray to my Creator to always guide my steps. These are very intimate and relaxing moments.

Today, I traveled back in time to 1994 and remembered this song "The Man at the Top", written by Edgar Enrique Quintero Castillo, known in the artistic world as Edgar Alexander, a Venezuelan musician who represented the pop and rock genre in his time here in my country, Venezuela. This song was also performed and popularized by José Luis Rodríguez. Its lyrics describe a man climbing and reaching the top of a mountain, symbolizing the achievement of his goals and aspirations, a person who doesn't give up in the face of adversity and fights to achieve his objectives and successes in life. It also represents an encounter with God to help him understand what he is and wants to be.

Today I'm taking a break to share with you that this month marks my 4th anniversary on this great Hive platform, especially at the Hive Open Mic. I've had my ups and downs in my participation, sometimes due to personal issues and other times due to health. But I'm thankful to God for allowing me to share my favorite songs with everyone I love.

This phrase "The Last Time" can be related to mistakes that are made and repeated. But if you reflect on them and learn from them, you can confront them and improve. It all depends on the individual. I think this song I performed today is very relevant to this week's theme.

When we talk about fragrances, we immediately associate them with scents or aromas, perfumes. But they can also be related to cultural, socio-emotional, and economic virtues. It depends on how we approach them. This time, with this song, I relate it to the scent and magic left by that love that makes us feel those sensations that take us to the clouds.

When I learned about the theme, I immediately associated it with emotions and sensations that one can experience at a given moment. For example, when you're in love and that person you desire touches you, you feel transported to the moon, your skin crawls, you get nervous, and you feel full of love, among many other sensations. But there are other contexts, such as when you don't like someone, you get irritated, there's something in you that repels that person, or other times it could be when you don't like a food, or you're afraid of something or someone. Everything your body can feel depends on the circumstances and the moment.
