Today being Friday I went to get some few things I needed in sewing at OSHODI MARKET, a big and popular market in Nigeria, lagos State precisely. In this market, you'll get varieties of material both for male and female and children, luxury lace, shirt material, vintage, Ankara, just name the one you want to buy and you'll surely get it, not only that, the sell food stuffs, beverages, jewelries, bags, shoes, socks and a lot of things. I'm so happy being in this market once again and I think this is my second time of coming to OSHODI market. I will be thrilled to go to others markets in lagos and also share my experiences with you guys 😊.

This is a tutorial on how I drafted, cut and sew a short red dress for a clients photoshoot. I used 2yards of beaded read lace, 3yards of plain crepe for the lining, bra cup of her size which is 36, E-8000 gum to hold the lace with the crepe, haystay for interfacing the main fabric, half yards of applique to design the turtle neckline.

The process I used in making this dress are made with lots of love and carefulness, because is a first time client and I want to win her heart by giving her exactly 💯 what she ordered.

And you can tell by her facial gestures that she loves her dress.

I'm really glad to share my blog here in this amazing community, promoting a handmade designs, Thank you all for always engaging on my post 🙏🥰

This blog is the last summary of our monthly Hive Meetup for April. it's a well detailed and informative speech by our mentor @fokusnow. He highlighted on using video content making to start up a business on hive. which can create awareness and grow our page. This video content will be useful both for those that has a skill being it fashion designers, hairstylist, makeup artist etc and also beneficial for those that doesn't have a skill, all the can do is find something that interests them the most being it drawing, sketching or drafting, making a well detailed videos on how to achieve one particular thing. I really enjoyed this particular speech because it motivated me as a fashion designer, I can now showcase my handworks from start to finish through the help of @threespeak app, I'm really grateful 🙏 and I know this tutorial can help someone out there to start up something or even add to their knowledge.

Ekeoha Shopping Center is another big market here in Nigeria ABA precisely. in this market you will get varieties of lace material and at cheaper rate, big hitarget that is Ankara material, duchess , vintage, suit material, shirt material, crepe both plain and flowered just name the ones you want.

Today being Friday, I love to go to the market to get necessary things for sewing for the weekend, so I planned on visiting this great market today and I'm privileged to share my blog with this amazing community.

It's a very great opportunity to show you around markets here in Nigeria ABA precisely , thanks for giving me such opportunity @marketfriday.

so after getting things I needed I headed to one of the best listed supermarket here in ABA to get some groceries for the weekend and I also claimed a 35% discount through @distriator.

so today's tutorial is on how I used the petals to design a corset gown also how i achieved a structures sleeve using a 2 inch crinoline and half inch regline boning (sewable boning)beaded fringes on the structured sleeve and I made a beaded fringes with a sound bead and a teardrop beads. watch and get to see the final look of the dress 👗😋💃

On my next tutorial, I will show you how I drape the wrapper on the plain skirt

Today being Friday I went to buy sewing materials for work in one of the biggest market here in Nigeria, abia state, ABA precisely, known as NEW MARKET (ahia ohuru). As a fashion designer you will surely get many things for sewing in this big market. come with me let me take you round the market.

I love going to the market, because you will see things that amazes you, being it market women singing and dancing or people engaging in concerts, as I find it exciting to be at various markets consisting of many tribes, I know majority of us here find it exciting too.
