Seeing them, I immediately felt that I had to do something.</p>
<p>I took the used oil and checked its contents… and to my surprise, it was still there, completely intact.</p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23vi62F3RotrRvTDhXn1c4p6KYVW5xkp6H2VfAJx7Nr5ijcq6ArFvqtXrwFkL6HsuRfYS.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251208_22060547.jpeg" /></p>
<p>Then I glanced to the side, and I was really shocked. There was an old helmet thrown away carelessly—what a waste, because it still had value.<br />

                    frameborder="0"
                ></iframe></div></p>
<p><strong>Tools and Materials:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Used oil</li>
<li>Empty bottle</li>
<li>Cooking oil</li>
<li>Dish soap</li>
<li>Hair shampoo</li>
</ul>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23uFTyUkprXTjxzqu6fn2mrxvYZByi7L31viAqeNEJ8Qcg6FVEREnDZUSyTi851UJR3rg.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251208_22065454.jpeg" /></p>
<p>Next, I prepared some ingredients to start the process.<br />
Here, I used an empty bottle, the used oil I found, and a little cooking oil to mix everything together.</p>
<p>I also added some dish soap—you can use any brand—and here I’m using Sunlight.<br />
All of these ingredients are simple, but when combined correctly, the results can be amazing.</p>
<p>I made sure every ingredient was ready, because even small steps will determine the final outcome. Now, the process is really about to begin.</p>
<hr />
<hr />
<p><strong>Mixing All The Ingredients</strong></p>
<p>First, I pour a little oil into the bottle—just a small amount, not too much.<br />
Then, I add cooking oil—more than the amount of oil I just poured.</p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23wWwRGi2TacXLpJKvwpv6yMNJiKa6bmAGjE2RfKEGZooniKGV9kFybrhgqBaRgtFajtM.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251208_22334037.jpeg" /></p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23uFTyaRYP9onscqn1FYsDm7dFUJNs9KVhAzRAHb9pMctKLC7o2dx5VrNsEk7kZuXmRTm.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251208_22340213.jpeg" /></p>
<p>After that, I add dish soap to the bottle, in the same ratio as the cooking oil—about one-to-one.</p>
<p>Finally, I also prepare some hair shampoo. This shampoo is meant to give a pleasant fragrance to the mixture we’ve combined.</p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23vhwxcbawZxnsSrPJwTMf4vj6EMXEUcFZqLq7Js6eYxordGSUp9HdCqgFgzUgbC3t3hM.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251208_22071674.jpeg" /></p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23wMex31KiSeLtYx2YgFEfvxXPLWhjmxC2iQa3m7LhS1V1VpXrMmqPKf9ain5A3vByTh2.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251208_22075130.jpeg" /></p>
<p>Now, all the ingredients are mixed in the bottle.<br />
I shake it well until everything is thoroughly combined.</p>
<hr />
<hr />
<p><strong>Bringing the Helmet Back to Life</strong></p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23wqkRN9bDAPVHL3qqsi4zrXwr4iVRd5yErS1sB7NoLFpwbNWYbtxYrg9qvF6eiPyei97.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251208_22364802.jpeg" /></p>
<p>Look at this old helmet—how dirty it is!<br />
I’m using a small piece of old cloth that I prepared to wipe the helmet with the mixture.<br />
Pour a little mixture onto the cloth, then rub it evenly over the helmet.</p>
<hr />
<hr />
<p><strong>The Finishing Touch</strong></p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23vsQfDMbyREQgvgF7NTj1RDTvzkHQ3ZeAKj8z452xWQtbv54nXeEjLgwFVZwvji5xG8z.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251208_22392263.jpeg" /></p>
<p>Next, use a clean, dry cloth to polish the helmet until it shines.<br />
Notice the difference: the helmet looked very dirty before…<br />
…and after cleaning it with this simple homemade solution, it’s sparkling clean and shiny!</p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23ynUbeUBf1pcAQ6pS2Yg66tbGznTUgEd3oXUWFV2wgkDA7e1tnVDow5fdiA6KDMAHfwL.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251208_22402498.jpeg" /></p>

<p>So, never throw away used materials—they might become a source of income or be useful for creative projects like this.</p>
<p>For the voice in my video, I used AI from the platform or application called ElevenLabs.</p>

<p></p><div class="text-justify">Hello everyone,
Let me introduce myself, my name is Reza, 25 years old, from Indonesia 🇮🇩.
Today, please allow me to join this beloved Hive community to start creating.
I like making videos, writing creative things, and experimenting with new ideas.
Therefore, please allow and accept me here to share my creations.
<p>This account, <a href="/user/movtips">@movtips</a>, is the place where I share everything.<br />
I want to make faceless videos that focus more on DIY on this channel.<br />
The name of this channel is also the same as my other channels like my YouTube and other platforms.</p>
<p><a href="/user/movtips">@movtips</a> is my own channel, and the videos I upload, whether from other platforms or not, are my personal works.</p>
<p>I want to make videos and articles about small tips about the digital world, and also stories behind the creative process which are often simple but meaningful.</p>
<p>I choose not to appear in front of the camera because I prefer to let the work speak for itself.<br />
For me, creativity is not about who is seen, but about what can be felt and learned from our work.I found the Hive platform from users who came from Spain on various platforms.<br />
At first, I wanted to join, but I didn’t know how. Then, I started learning about it over the past few days, and finally, I decided to take the step and register to give it a try.</p>
<p>Right now, I’m unemployed and don’t have a steady income.<br />
I truly hope that by joining this amazing community, I can learn, grow, and eventually earn through my creativity here.</p>
<p>I also hope to learn from all of you so that I can use this amazing communication platform even better.</p>
<p>And in this first post of mine, I’d like to share a video I made some time ago about the fun moments I had with my friends making kites.</p>
<p>Here’s an explanation of the video I created.</p>
<hr />
<hr />
<p><center><h1>Summary of Making a Kite</h1></center></p>

<div class="videoWrapper"><iframe
                    width="640"
                    height="480"

                    mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen"
                    frameborder="0"
                ></iframe></div></p>
<p><strong>Tools and Materials:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><p>Used broom sticks (palm leaf sticks).</p></li>
<li><p>A sharp knife.</p></li>
<li><p>String for tying.</p></li>
</ul>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23wCQcj4APq9YaQrLLR7BdGXiUZACmLUTjhJSzYftPrSZN4SWhYZCxqDuzUKHeecEqJbo.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251114_00595470.jpeg" /></p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23ydCSZ6z2goGwCAfgCJzhRq7n3MPTctZkWtLVbguhYTT6w8T1tJ22EzfYSXyhAYYswAr.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251114_01004950.jpeg" /></p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23ydGDRScYJ7SfzdUk3dbSiceXCyYEcuaaXwLjUHubG24oG7LuTBraeKWJ3TmUFxmZfHV.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251114_00593061.jpeg" /></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>Preparing the Main Frame:</strong></p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23wCNfvvhL7d27uw2HGiuGE5WcWtfH8Wuu5WtBBGBgEhXNK23ocboH6oNf1wSPFarNjpp.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251114_01000923.jpeg" /></p>
<p>Find a piece of dry bamboo about 1 meter long to be used as the main frame because of its strong nature.<br />
The bamboo is trimmed or shaved to match the width of the kite’s wings, making it slightly thicker than the palm sticks.<br />
The shaving process must be done carefully and slowly using a sharp knife to keep the surface smooth and prevent cracking.</p>
<hr />
<p><strong>Assembling the Kite Wings:</strong></p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23xL35gXZTWP89b2t5d214PLSHF7haJH6dhx9kg8wHyCifbKUYuDJLAKEiiSvz68knpfe.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251114_01020779.jpeg" /></p>
<p>Four palm sticks are used for the wings (two on the top and two on the bottom). The lower sticks are cut slightly shorter than the upper ones to keep the wings balanced.<br />
The sticks are tied firmly and neatly with string. The ends of the string are cut and slightly burned to secure the knots.<br />
When tying the ends, extra care is needed because the tips of the sticks are very fragile. It’s important to ensure that both sides of the kite’s wings have the same length for proper balance.</p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23xL56nHX2ZCzBkvmGoD4Dhpu5FqxDMWkhcstNEkLUTNVrefLYwfkXgJ7QYKbJc2sgnu1.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251114_01035059.jpeg" /></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>Making the Kite Tail:</strong></p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23xyi6HNeriXfwA6nLoxxButRXFn13X2xCLMNAQWtFXDj9R38UB5ZDUHqxrp3RZZbEZb8.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251114_01040739.jpeg" /></p>
<p>The kite’s tail frame is made with a small hole to provide better stability when attached.<br />
The tail is created in different shapes — one in the form of a crescent and another in a square shape.<br />
The most challenging part is tying the end of the tail frame to the wings because the material is thin; it must be tied carefully to avoid breaking.</p>
<hr />
<p><strong>Finishing and Flight Test:</strong></p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23xerRaimMRpqpG5W5y62yj9qZvbpcye17ZDkFBZZRu1EcuboP5krdJRzpQk3vdYmjCeT.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251114_01043748.jpeg" /></p>
<p>After the entire frame is completed and confirmed to be balanced and sturdy, the next step is to cover it with plastic or paper.<br />
The maker chose black with a touch of white for the color.<br />
The kite was tested at night and flew perfectly, with a strong and steady pull on the string.</p>
<p><img src="https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/movtips/23swiDuaF9h8VZZ7azyUdYvMGadYim86cvfLs1LSUm7Tgy5wJMQLmsyndPxkcy6FntYAy.jpeg" alt="IMG_20251114_01050620.jpeg" /></p>
