Last month, I installed solar in my apartment, even though I'm yet to write a post about it. But then I realized the fan I'm using is AC; it's all this industrial fan, which only works better with a NEPA power supply, but here I'm using a solar with just one battery, so if I'm really going to enjoy it, I must buy a DC fan so it can serve me well. A DC fan will not consume power at the rate at which AC will consume it.

So I went to the market to get a DC fan, which cost me around 28 dollars. I saw the advertisement online on Web 2 so I decided to visit the person shop and get it. I did, and here is a comprehensive tutorial on how I fixed my DC fan from scratch till it's all done for use.

One good thing I like about the fan is that it comes with two bulbs for lighting; it's durable and easy to carry. It also comes with a solar panel to charge it with the sun and also a charger in case there is light. So, in short, it's a DC and AC fan. One good thing you also need to know is that it's a rechargeable fan. This fan can work so fine on its own for some hours in the night. Last year, I took some of my athletes to the All African Games, and believe me, it was the best experience so far. Meeting with different people can be so fun; that aside, I just have to comment on the effort of my students for doing so well in the competition. Imagine taking three athletes to the competition, and the three of them enter the final.

I won't say I'm the best coach, but I'm trying my best.So this year, I was summoned again to come and train the same athletes I trained last year. This time around, we are going to another competition entirely. So to make sure that the athletes will be doing so well, we started training as soon as we could. We must do better this time, even more than what we did the other time.

This is because there are so many competitions this year, and the World Games is also part of this year's program. Imagine producing an athlete that will go for world competition, so we are training four days a week, Wednesday to Saturday. My goals for this training are that we are going there to bang all the gold, and I believe we will do better.

Since it's the new year and also another session for the teachers and the students, the school authorities decided to let their students know what drugs are all about. It's obvious that we are now in the Gen Z season where young children are being exposed to a whole lot of things, and unlike before, where the teachers beat the children, all they do now is talk to them because you will never see teachers doing that anymore.

So the best is to always do what we can to make sure the students are not doing anything wrong, so the school authorities invited the NDLEA. (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency) so we could talk about drug abuse, drug misuse, and so on.
It was a beautiful day, and we had some students that turned out for this lecture, although the lecture wasn't just for the students alone; the teachers also benefit from the lecture.

We have several cases of drug abuse and drug misuse, and this is what the NDLEA is here to talk about; I could remember back in school, some of my friends used drugs to read for exams; all these acts are definitely out of line.
Using sedative drugs or any kind of drugs to enhance performance is also pretty bad; smoking any kind of weed is also bad. There are many cases of drug abuse in the psychiatric hospital, and it all started at a tender age.

In summary, the students were given chances to ask questions and all questions were answered, we took pictures and say farewell to the officers.

A few months ago, I told my sister that we need to get a phone for my nephew, a tablet that he can be using while he's on holiday; meanwhile, there is one thing about him. He loves to play so much, and to make sure that he will not be playing too much outside, I decided we need to get a phone for him.

Since I realized that the holiday is here already, I went to the market and got his tablet for him. And this will guide him for the summer holidays since the tablet will be coming with some applications for summer classes.

For a while now, I've been thinking of how to get my sports equipment. I bought one headphone like two years ago, and I enjoyed using it. But in the long run, nothing lasts forever. Since then I've been thinking of how to get another one entirely. I was able to get the one I can afford. And I hope it's going to last. I bought P9 at the rate of $10.

Starting from the battery of my headset, it has 400 mah battery capacity. Which I think is a good one for me. I mean, this should last for some good hours.

And here are other things it's supporting. It's a wireless headset; meanwhile, you can also use a cord to connect it to your phone. In a situation where the battery is flat. It's easier for you to just connect it with the cable attached to it. This means either the headset is on or not. You can always listen to whatever you want.

A microSD card is also part of what it supports. In case you do not have what to connect to it. It's easier to just use a microSD card as an external source to listen to whatever you want.

Meanwhile, you can also listen to FM radio as long as you want. I also love the base. It sounds well when listening to music.

What I don't like about it.

Some weeks ago, we went to competitions and came back home with both gold and silver medals.
Ever since the competition, we all went to and saw the performances of my students. I realized there are still some works left to be done. I mean, I was at the competition and I realized how well they all did, but you know no matter how good you are, there is always someone who is better than you.

I first of all appreciate them all, after that. I told them about their weaknesses and what we all need to work on. And the first thing we need to work on is their fitness. No matter how good you are, if you are not well fit, you will gass out as soon as you start fighting.

And since what we do is contact sports. Most times, what makes one win is the fitness and not how well you can fight. You can know how to fight, but then you might not have what it takes to be fit, which will make you lose when fighting.

I designed some training for them that will make them fit and won't make them gass out easily. I need to do all these because there will be another competition coming up by September, which will be next month.
That competition will be tougher than this one they went to, so we need to be ready by all means if they really want to win.

One of the exercises they need is high knees. This works for their flexibility too since what they use more is their legs.
Since we are back to training now. We are to train three times in a week until the day of the competition. It should be more than that, but they need to have time for reading too because they are all students.

After so many preparations for the end of the term party, it is high time we show the parents what we got. The event started a little bit late. You know Africans by their time. As usual, they started with prayers and the national anthem. We have a couple of things on the list.
All parents sit and wait for their children to see how well they have mastered their programs. Of course, all of the children did well in each field in which they found themselves.

It's now taekwondo, and since that's the first time they will be doing it, I have it in the back of my mind that we will be doing four things: kicks, poomsea, self-defense, and breaking planks. But, to my surprise, planks are very expensive now. So I switched to. Kicks, poomsea, and self-defense.
Well, I wasn't expecting less from them, because honestly, I did all I could for them. We put in effort, and believe me, the parents love everything we did. We kick first, then we move to self-defense; we did two types of that. And lastly, poomsea. After everything, we rounded up everything. Their parents were happy, and now they all want to engage their children in martial arts.

The long-awaited end-of-term party is here, and to make sure the students are doing exactly what they need to do on that day, we asked them to do a general rehearsal. In front of the teachers and the rest of the students that are not participating.

This is the idea of the head mistress. And I was told that is how they have been doing it for the past few years. Since I'm just joining them, I need to wait till they are done.

Although I wasn't informed, I'm always ready. All my students aren't around, but the ones I need to use are actually around. As I said earlier, we are to practice everything we have been doing all this time.

The program started from the nursery until the last program. I could remember that we did some programs like that. Dancing, all kinds of dancing and drama, ballet dance, Yoruba dance, igbo, and so on, while taekwondo was also part of the program.

The program took some hours before we are done. The students did well and the one we need to be corrected were corrected. The real program is coming this same week and I'm sure you can't wait to see it.

Just a few days ago, I was talking about how my phone got spoiled when I was about to charge it. When the phone screen got broken, I couldn't help it, so I had to find another way to survive. That was when a good Samaritan borrowed me the one I'm using at the moment.

After which he gave me, I realized the phone has a charging port issue. I charged it over the night, and it doesn't even charge at all.
I realized I've got all the tools I need to repair it at home. So all I need is a new charging port panel.
I went to the market to get the charging port panel, which cost around $3 with the transportation fee.

When I got back home, I used flat tools to gently remove the back cover of the phone, while I used the Star tool to remove all the nuts on the phone. After that. I gently removed the flex connected to both the charging panel and the panel so I could remove the panel. I also disconnected the network cable. It is a black cable.

It's been more than ten good years since we know each other; we are best friends, and believe me. We tell each other about ourselves.
Our closeness start since year 2013 we both went to same high institutions. The funniest part was that we both continued our education together in 2018.

We both graduated again in the year 2022. We had so many memories together from the years we both spent in school.
She called me a few months ago and told me she would be getting married. She was like, Ayobami, I'm getting married to a man who has the same character as you. It was an honor to know she still remembers me to some extent.

I couldn't help but get ready for her wedding day. I was so happy to be there. And obviously, I met a lot of my friends at the wedding; we all went to the same university anyway.

It's a long journey from my state to hers, but I believe she is worth the sacrifice. I don't even know how it's going to be if I do not attend the wedding. The only reason I might not attend the wedding is if I'm not in the country. But then I'm.
After so many hours of travel, I boarded up to four buses. It's not a straight bus. So I need to stop from one bus stop to another.

I was able to get there on time. I left home around 7 a.m. just because I knew the place I was going was a very far place, and yes, I got there around 1 p.m. That was a 6-hour journey.

Getting there, I was already tired, and my white clothes are dirty. I just have to use it that way. But yes, I enjoyed seeing my friend get married.
I danced a lot at the wedding because it's all full of vibes. I met with all my friends after we all departed in 2022. It's more like getting together. I was able to have good conversations with my friends.

After spending five hours at the wedding, I thought of going back home. I could not wait till the end of the wedding, but I stayed to almost the end.
I could not wait because of my journey back home, and it's getting late already. I left around 5 p.m. in the evening after gifting and also collecting some gifts.

I got a new light switch for my room; the place was a new place, so I need to fix some things up. Not just the switch alone, but then I did some other wiring work in that room. I had already fixed the bulb. In the room, here is exactly how I fixed my room switch.

Firstly, there is light in the room. So I need to change my changeover to neutra simply because of safety, and I'm not using any gloves. It is advisable to use hand gloves, but I don't have any. Meanwhile, there is no problem once you change the light to neutral.

I removed the switch there before and then used my pliers to fix the wire. I bring out the mouth of the red and black wire. You can see me holding the switch.
The other piece of equipment I used was a tester; a screwdriver would have been better, but I don't have one, and I need to improvise. So I used a texter to nut and tie the screws.

After which, I removed the old switch and placed the new one there, and here is the work we need to do.

The red wire is two, and on the switch there is a hole to put the wire; there are three holes. The first one is L1, which will go for red; the second one is L2, which is just neutral; and the last one is N, which is going for black wire.

In the shot, all you need to do is place those wires in the places I mentioned, then use the tester to screw the nuts with those wires until they are right and unable to be removed. After that, I screwed the switch with the two screws that came with it. I used my tester to screw them back and then test my work. I put the lights back to normal and tested what I just did. I was at a friend's party, and I realized how boring the party started to become at some point. This is because they have not really started an event yet. But the DJ was given hits back-to-back. Everyone was just sitting down without doing anything.
I said this is a party; someone needs to cheer up these people sitting down. I took my phone and started recording, then I started dancing.

I danced so much that everyone at the party started joining me, and everyone was so amazed. A lot of people bring out their phones to record me.
All I wanted to do was just kill boring moments, and guess what? I brought everyone to their feet to dance, and everyone was so happy.
