For this week, I will be doing a song cover of "Because he lives" by Sinach I hope you have fun and enjoy my presentation.

Afritunes is just or it has to do with songs in Africa, that is African songs and just as I am an African lady with lots of African songs in my head I decided to sing this song.

It's a known song and it is popular as well. It's easy to comprehend and sing. The song emphasizes on the wonderful work of christ on the cross for me and you.

Christ died in the cross and he paid the price for me and you. He took all the shame, pain, guilt and suffering just for the sake of me and you.

Everything he experienced and passed through on the cross was so that we might not pass through them. That was an unconditional love right there.

That is why because he (God) lives, we can live and have no fear of what tomorrow might bring. Because he lives, you and I can face tomorrow and despite the hardship we will make it through.

Yesterday was my birthday and I was like "God, thank you for the opportunity to see another year" It's a rare privilege and I do not take it for granted.

People are dying everyday. Calamities are befalling people. There are casualties here and there. To sum it all, the economy of this country is bad and people are suffering.

To have a square meal in a day is very difficult but God has been so great despite all these. I love him and I worship him.

I'm sure you have reasons to appreciate the goodness of God in your life. Try as much as possible to tell God 'Thank you' each day you wake up.

Going through the entries for this week, I have enjoyed all of them and I'm glad because I was blessed. I congratulate all the winners of last week's contest and I applaud everyone for their contributory efforts in the community. Most especially, I thank Sir @lordbutterfly for all his efforts. It has been a hectic week and month but I thank God for his grace so far. We have just concluded our youth conference which has been our routine annually.

We had people from far and near, inside and outside the states. Lives were touched and it was an awesome moment with God.

Here's me thanking God for the success of the program and for sustenance. Despite the economy of Nigeria, God has been faithful and he has been providing and taking care of me and my family.

The song is all about gratitude and exalting God for he is awesome and wonderful. I believe you have reasons to thank God as well.

God is sovereign and he rules over all the earth. That's why we as his children need to adore him, worship, praise and magnify his name.

Sweet dreams to me relates with having a good night rest knowing too well that God has got your back. It might interest you to know that there are battles God fights for you and me without our knowledge.

This song has a biblical allusion. It could mean different things to people respectively. Personally, as the song title suggests: It's my way of appreciating God for his kindness and faithfulness, mercies, love and grace.

It means praising God and returning all the glory to him for his unfiltered, undiluted love towards me. I've seen his mighty hands in my life.
