When Someone rings the bell it,means to remind one of something or stimulate an incomplete or a indistinct memory.

It is important to know,that ringing the bells is not only for melody but it is a tool to help people going through emotional and mental challenges.

Ring the bells is therapeutic modality used to help people in the mental health care unit.People are going through a lot,it can be loss of loved one,involvement in fatal accident which led to memory loss,
Traumatic experience of fire accidents, bankruptcy of valuable funds and investments,loss of landed properties and priced possession that can affect the human mind.

The emotional mind goes into overdrive,with intense feelings of disbelief,fear,outrage and anger,to name but a few. The emotional mind then dominates the rational mind. The result is usually poor problem-solving techniques followed by impulsive behaviour (which is generally later regretted) and the ensuing emotions of shame and regret, which add to the emotional turmoil.

Appreciation also to Patricia O Hare on July 22 ,2021 posted in purpose for her write up on "Ring the bells that can still ring"

She highlighted,
Firstly,there is always a chance for a new beginning even though it may not be our ideal – there will always be bells that still can ring even though your preferred one is out of the equation. Secondly,forget the perfect offering because it doesn’t always guarantee the perfect outcome. Thirdly, there is a crack in everything – although perfection is highly desired,it is seldom realised. Lastly,that’s how the light gets in refers to possibilities and a new way of thinking that may not have been possible had the crack not appeared to let the light in.

Radical acceptance is a tool that you can use, not to dull the pain but to prevent long-time suffering because of your inability to say, “So be it. Amen

I love the theme of the week,"Holy Spirit".
I connect to his great personality.His my friend, comforter,teacher,helper,healer and lots more.

Someone may ask Who is the holy Spirit? In Christianity,the holy Spirit is the third person of the holy Trinity,along side,God the father, and God the son (Jesus)He is considered to be God,co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is a divine person, not an impersonal force,and can be grieved,resisted,and insulted.

He is also described as being involved in redemptive history and is active in the lives of believers, empowering them for service, guiding them, and helping them to understand the Bible.

I wrote a song about the holy Spirit in the year 2022 in my first album aroma of praise,there was a time in my life,that I needed healing,I was going through a hard time, lost a best friend, experienced betrayal , lost valuable investments....
At that point in my life,I was shattered. It was the holy Spirit that comforted me in those trying moments of my life.

The scriptures that came to me was in John 14:16-18,
" And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Verse 17,
"Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive,because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you".

I went to God in prayers and the holy Spirit did the healing. I was encouraged,lifted and moved on with my life.

I understood the pain people feel and the struggle to come out of what they were going through too, when it life is unfair and hope deferred.

Hive open mic is an interesting place to be.
Grateful to all the amazing moderators who constantly stir us up to wonderful and dynamic presentations.

It's a beautiful theme, we have for this week,stronger💪.
The theme inspires me to share a testimony.

We had a tenant in my family house,who had lived there for 10years,who was violent,and had no regard.
He vowed he will not leave our house. He said no one can drive him out of the house,because he felt he had powers that protect him. He kept boasting.

He made statements,that he burn the house up and he will deal with us openly and verbally.

We reported the matter to our family lawyer and gave him notice to vacate the property.
He refused to leave. So we took him to court. He and his lawyer were delaying the case in order to favor him,he is sick and he is not in town and so many unnecessary excuses.

The matter kept dragging from 2023 to this year.
As a family,we kept on praying and seeking the Lord on the issue.
I knew that there is matter difficult for Jesus to handle.

On the 25th of March 2025, the Lord who answers prayers,showed up for us.
The Judgement of the case was to our favor and he was told to the leave the apartment and pay a certain amount.

Despite all his lies,deceit and claims to be powerful and a strong man,our God was stronger and we defeated him.
I am thankful,so I will share this song by sinach,a million tongues as a gratitude to the strongest God.Our Lord Jesus Christ,whosoever trusts in him can never be put to shame

Sudden means, according to the Oxford dictionary,happening or done quickly and unexpectedly.
While change is to pass from one state or form into another.

A "sudden change" means a shift or alteration that happens quickly and unexpectedly, without warning or gradual preparation.Or
refers to an abrupt and unexpected shift or alteration that occurs quickly without warning.
Examples:
A sudden change in the weather (e.g., a sudden downpour).
A sudden shift in someone's behavior or attitude.
A sudden illness or accident. etc

A lot of times in life we desire promotions, business enlargement,a new Job,new horizons,new landmarks, career growth and development etc.
One question I ask?
Are you prepared for the sudden change,when it comes?
A saying goes preparation meets opportunities!
Many people have met great opportunities,but lost them,because they delayed or were not prepared.
Some got the sudden change but had no capacity to handle it. Some others missed it because they had no knowledge on how to go about it.
Some others life had a turn,from good to bad and the couldn't handle the change. Difficulty to adjust to the new life has made people to commit suicide,sadly high increase in crime rates.
Some had accidents that made them loose one part of the body,eye, ear,hand or legs etc.
It's not easy to adapt to such a sudden change.

The good news is,I have learnt in my little journey with God.He is the God of all situations,wherever good or bad.He is"time"himself.
No sudden change can hit him.
That's why we should trust him and heed to his instructions.

I celebrate and appreciate the consistency, passion and hard work put together,to keep the community growing and expanding.

Grateful to be a part of this week's edition,and the theme of the week is an interesting one, "Quaresma"
Quaresma is a Portuguese word translates to "Lent" in English refering to the 40-day period of fasting and reflection observed by Christians before Easter.
It also means the time from Ash Wednesday to Easter.

I look forward to Easter because of the sacrifice of the death of our Lord Jesus Christ for humanity.
To receive redemption from the power of sin.To reconcile man to God.

The Lord while on earth was doing good, healing and delivering all that were oppressed of the devil.
He was determined to pay the price for us all.

Acts 10:38 says,"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power:who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him"

The devil was angry and sort to kill him,not knowing,his death was for our salvation.
Acts 10:40, says " Him God raised up the third day and shewed him openly"

Today is my testimony day.
I have been trusting God,to open a door of favor for me.
There's an assignment,the Lord has given me to do.
I wrote it as part of 2025 request, and I gave God my strong reasons why I wanted it early this year.
The time I needed the request was Coming close , it looked like it wasn't going to work for me.
Many pressing issues,that needed attention kept coming at the same time.
Pressure mounted hard on me.
The people who I thought are with me on it, where quiet about it.
And it was clear that I am alone with God in this matter.

I was led by the spirit to give thanks to God for the request and not ask anything.
I gave thanks and handed the matter to God.
Putting my trust in his word .

When it looked like, all hope is lost.
God showed up for me.
The request was granted.

I don't know what you are desring from God, if you can put your trust in him.
He will make a way.
