Esta vez les tenemos un post de continuación sobre nuestra visita al centro de Caracas. Ya que visitamos varios lugares, decidimos hacer una secuela de blogs.

This time we have a continuation post for you about our visit to downtown Caracas. Since we visited several places, we decided to do a sequel blog post.

Hoy es el turno de la "Casa de Estudio de la Historia Lorenzo A. Mendoza Quintero". Un lugar dedicado a la promoción de la educación mediante dinámicas interactivas.

Este sitio también se encuentra en el casco histórico de la capital en el bulevar Panteón Nacional.

Un lugar restaurado y gestionado bajo la la Fundación Empresas Polar desde el año 2001.

Today is the turn of the "Casa de Estudio de la Historia Lorenzo A. Mendoza Quintero". A place dedicated to the promotion of education through interactive dynamics.

This site is also located in the historic center of the capital on Panteón Nacional Boulevard.

A place restored and managed under the Fundación Empresas Polar since 2001.

Su historia comienza siendo un colegio para la Compañía de Jesús en 1761, y actualmente se dedica a promover el conocimiento sobre nuestra identidad cultural mediante diversas estrategias.

En esta preciosa casa colonial hay un patio central que recibe a cada uno de sus visitantes y a sus alrededores diversas exposiciones tanto de temporadas cómo fija según la exposición que haya en el momento.

También es un sitio de hallazgos arqueológicos, ya que se encuentra una de las cisternas más antiguas de la ciudad 😱

Its history began as a school for the Society of Jesus in 1761, and it is currently dedicated to promoting knowledge about our cultural identity through various strategies.

In this beautiful colonial house there is a central courtyard that welcomes each of its visitors and in its surroundings there are several exhibitions both seasonal and fixed depending on the exhibition at the time.

It is also a site of archaeological findings, since it is one of the oldest cisterns in the city 😱.

Pero eso no es todo…

Este lugar ofrece un salón de usos múltiples al aire abierto en dónde se hacen conciertos, recitales, talleres y exposiciones.

También es el lugar idóneo para estudiantes universitarios e investigadores de profesión, ya que tienen una sala de consulta donde poder obtener la bibliografía necesaria para la comprensión de nuestro pasado como Nación.

But that's not all...

This place offers an open-air multipurpose hall where concerts, recitals, workshops and exhibitions are held.

It is also the ideal place for university students and professional researchers, since they have a reference room where they can obtain the necessary bibliography for the understanding of our past as a Nation.

Y como si fuera poco, también tiene un hermoso jardín de esparcimiento donde poder disfrutar un café, una merienda e incluso un almuerzo bastante ligero pero sabroso 😊

A pesar de ser un lugar que se recorre bastante rápido no podíamos dejar de visitarlo en nuestro recorrido por nuestra capital del país.

Si tú interés es pasar un rato diferente dentro de los lugares habituales que existen en el centro de Caracas, este es sin duda el lugar para tí 🙌🏻

Así vivimos el Bitcoin Pizza Day en Mayvileros 🙌🏻

Es un placer para la comunidad Mayvileros hacer constancia de nuestro primer Bitcoin Pizza Day, una fecha icónica para el ecosistema cripto.

La verdad, nos entusiasmó muchísimo ver el apoyo recibido por nuestros patrocinadores, ya que es primera vez que hacemos un evento para la comunidad sin tener que hacer Power Down 🥺

It is a pleasure for the Mayvileros community to record our first Bitcoin Pizza Day, an iconic date for the crypto ecosystem.

Truth be told, we were really excited to see the support received by our sponsors, as it's the first time we do an event for the community without having to do Power Down 🥺.

That means, we don't affect the vote we give to our users in their posts, but on the contrary, we impact positively on them 🙌🏻

Proposal

Our proposal was quite simple but we wanted to make it of the best possible quality.

For this, we decided to look for the best place to share with the community. After looking at several pizzerias and comparing prices, we did it!

También, era importante para nosotros impulsar a nuestros aliados. Así que parte de las labores era también mandar a hacer stickers de Syklo y tener los códigos de barra para que pudieran descargar la App y registrarse con nuestro link de referidos. ¡El cual también pudimos lograr!

Also, it was important for us to promote our allies. So part of the work was also to have Syklo stickers made and to have the barcodes so they could download the App and sign up with our referral link, which we were also able to do!

Evento

Habíamos hecho la convocatoria para el 22 de Mayo en la Pizzería Nonna Mia en la Castellana, Caracas - Venezuela.

Para este evento, a pesar de haber contado con un presupuesto gracias a nuestro sponsor, tuvimos que hacer una lista de invitados. Ya que tampoco contábamos con una cantidad exagerada, lo que queríamos era demostrar que teníamos un poder de convocatoria en nuestra comunidad y poder tener buen momento junto a quienes hacen vida con nosotros día a día.

Al mismo tiempo, causar un impacto positivo en ellos como usuarios mostrando las ventajas de Syklo para la cotidianidad 🙌🏻

Event

We had made the call for May 22nd at the Pizzeria Nonna Mia in La Castellana, Caracas - Venezuela.

For this event, in spite of having a budget thanks to our sponsor, we had to make a guest list. Since we didn't have an exaggerated amount of guests, what we wanted was to show that we had the power to call on our community and to have a good time with those who make life with us every day.

At the same time, we wanted to make a positive impact on them as users by showing the advantages of Syklo for their daily life 🙌🏻.

@mayvil y @cabetosag como organizadores llegaron temprano para tener la cuenta paga y todo ya listo para recibir a nuestros invitados.

Hicimos una lista de 20 personas ya que eso es lo que nos daba el presupuesto, de las cuales 16 asistieron, y las otras personas tuvieron complicaciones y nos avisaron ese día.

Los recibimos en una mesa larga para que el compartir fuese más ameno. Primero les ofrecimos entradas a los invitados el cual constaba de tequeños, pastelitos de queso y carne y nuggets.

@mayvil and @cabetosag as organizers arrived early to have the bill paid and everything ready to receive our guests.

We made a list of 20 people since that's what the budget gave us, of which 16 attended, and the other people had complications and let us know that day.

We received them at a long table to make the sharing more enjoyable. First we offered appetizers to the guests which consisted of tequeños, cheese and meat pastries and nuggets.

Luego de ello, dimos formalmente inicio a nuestro Bitcoin Pizza Day explicando un poco el renacer de la comunidad y al mismo tiempo qué es Syklo.

Y así le abrimos camino a las protagonistas del día 🙌🏻 ¡Las pizzas! que cabe destacar fueron cocidas a la leña, lo que le daba un sabor increíble.

After that, we formally kicked off our Bitcoin Pizza Day by explaining a bit about the rebirth of the community and at the same time what Syklo is.

And so we opened the way to the protagonists of the day 🙌🏻 The pizzas! which were cooked over a wood fire, which gave them an incredible flavor.

Ya para finalizar les habíamos prometido una dinámica en el evento y sorteamos 10$ entre 4 usuarios mediante la wallet de nuestros patrocinantes 😎

Pero eso no fue todo ¡También hubo postre! Compartimos una torta de chocolate con crema de mantequilla para celebrar el día pero también el próximo cumpleaños de nuestra fundadora @mayvil

Finally, we had promised you a dynamic at the event and we raffled $10 among 4 users through the wallet of our sponsors 😎.

But that was not all, there was also dessert! We shared a chocolate cake with buttercream to celebrate the day but also the upcoming birthday of our founder @mayvil

Tenemos en este blog una salida muy importante que compartirles, ya que la verdad fue una salida bastante agradable 💯

Se trata de enseñarles un poquito sobre el famoso Museo de Ciencias de Caracas.

We have in this blog a very important outing to share with you, as the truth is that it was a very nice outing 💯

It's about teaching you a little bit about the famous science museum in Caracas.

Algunos lo sabrán, otros no, pero es un lugar que reúne mucha magia sobre el tipo de conocimiento que ha generado nuestro país al mundo, así que eso lo hizo un poco más divertido en cuanto a experiencia.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de que nos dejaran usar la cámara y hacer una breve entrevista a una de las guías del museo.

Cómo ven y escuchan de la misma guía, las temáticas que actualmente están en el museo son varias.

Desde conocimiento sobre los sismos, hasta arqueología, óptica, animales disecados y demás.

Some may know it, some may not, but it's a place that brings together a lot of magic about the kind of knowledge our country has generated to the world, so that made it a little more fun in terms of experience.

We had the opportunity to be allowed to use the camera and do a brief interview with one of the museum guides.

As you can see and hear from the guide herself, there are several themes that are currently in the museum.

From knowledge about earthquakes, to archeology, optics, stuffed animals and more.

El museo también tiene una sala en remodelación el cual es una experiencia muy vivida de los diversos sitios geográficos que quiere representar.

La ubicación de este museo es Bellas Artes.

Esta zona se llama así, ya que justo frente al Museo de Ciencias se encuentra el de Bellas Arte que conoceremos en un siguiente post.

A su vez la UNEARTE (Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Artes) y el Teatro más emblemático de la época moderna y contemporánea de Venezuela, el Teresa Carreño.

Una zona que la verdad, tiene mucho potencial turístico y cultural, pero en unas condiciones no tan óptimas para ello. Esperemos que no sea así siempre.

La chica que nos atendió fue bastante amigable la verdad y aunque no podía extenderse mucho en una entrevista por su trabajo fue bastante precisa, aunque le daba pena la cámara.

El museo tiene visitas guiadas, solo hay que contactarlos para ello y gestionarla.

Si quieren un día de ciencia, no duden en poner este lugar en su agenda.

The museum also has a room in remodeling which is a very vivid experience of the different geographical sites it wants to represent.

The location of this museum is Bellas Artes.

This area is so named because right in front of the Science Museum is the Fine Arts Museum which we will get to know in a following post.

At the same time the UNEARTE (Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Artes) and the most emblematic theater of the modern and contemporary era in Venezuela, the Teresa Carreño.

An area that has a lot of tourist and cultural potential, but in less than optimal conditions for it. Let's hope that this is not always the case.

The girl who attended us was quite friendly and although she could not extend much in an interview because of her work, she was quite accurate, although she felt sorry for the camera.

The museum has guided tours, you just have to contact them and arrange it.

If you want a day of science, don't hesitate to put this place on your agenda.

Conoce el Casco histórico de Caracas #1 Panteón Nacional / Archivo General de la Nación [ESP-ENG]

Hola de nuevo comunidad, hoy les traemos un post bastante digno de Mercurio retrógrado como el anterior del parque del este.

En esta salida de creación de contenidos nos aventuramos (mayvil - cabetosag) a visitar el Panteon Nacional de la República en donde reposan los restos de los próceres más importantes del país, y además personajes de renombre en la historia de Venezuela,

Decidimos ir ya que mayvil no lo conocía y cabetosag es bastante fan hacer recorridos así, por lo que no nos detuvimos en ir a conocer un poco más de nuestra historia y nuestra ciudad.

Como sabrán y a los que no les comentamos, el Panteón Nacional está ubicado en la Ciudad de Caracas, en el casco histórico de la Ciudad. Cerca tiene la Biblioteca Nacional, El cuartel San Carlos, la Fundación Boulton, la Casa Teresa de la Parra, Plaza Bolívar, Catedral de Caracas y un sin fin de lugares de importancia vital para nuestra Nación como recurso cultural, histórico y simbólico.

Decimos que este blog fue un poco de mercurio retrógrado porque, tal como la vez del Parque del Este o Parque Francisco de Miranda no pudimos lograr lo que queríamos. En esta ocasión porque el Presidente de la República tenía un evento ahí y coincidimos sin querer. Eso explicaba la cantidad de policías que había ese día en la zona. Pero por lo menos nos tomamos nuestras respectivas fotos del lugar y de nosotros ahí.

Hello again community, today we bring you a post quite worthy of Mercury retrograde as the previous one from the east park.

In this content creation outing we ventured (mayvil - cabetosag) to visit the National Pantheon of the Republic where lie the remains of the most important heroes of the country, and also renowned characters in the history of Venezuela,

We decided to go since mayvil did not know it and cabetosag is quite a fan of doing tours like this, so we did not stop to go to know a little more of our history and our city.

As you may know and for those of you who did not know, the National Pantheon is located in the city of Caracas, in the historic center of the city. Nearby are the National Library, the San Carlos Barracks, the Boulton Foundation, the Teresa de la Parra House, Plaza Bolivar, the Caracas Cathedral and many other places of vital importance for our nation as a cultural, historical and symbolic resource.

We say that this blog was a bit of retrograde mercury because, just like the time of Parque del Este or Parque Francisco de Miranda we could not achieve what we wanted. This time because the President of the Republic had an event there and we coincided without wanting to. That explained the amount of police that day in the area. But at least we took our respective pictures of the place and of us there.

Intentamos ir a los sitios aledaños, pero la verdad es que por la visita del presidente y por desconocimiento de que era con previa cita varios de los lugares, pues nos aventuramos en el Archivo General de la Nación, a ver si era posible al menos conocer un poco más sobre la historia de esa construcción importante para el país.

La verdad, al llegar ahí nos sorprendimos de su buen trato para con nosotros, pensamos que sería más complejo o burocrático tener un momento en las instalaciones y para nuestra sorpresa, fue todo lo contrario. Trataron de ubicarnos con una especialista en el Panteón Nacional.

Nos pareció impresionante la historia del sitio al que íbamos a visitar y que descubrimos gracias a unos libros que nos prestaron ahí mismo.

Resulta ser que el Panteon Nacional, iba a ser realmente una iglesia y que fue a petición de un ciudadano. Dicha iglesia se llamaría Santísima Trinidad, por eso también su arquitectura, aunque esta forma actual no es sino una reconstrucción luego del terremoto de 1812.

El ciudadano que quería que la obra se llevase a cabo, vendió 4 de sus casas y pidió dinero prestado para su construcción, pero al mismo tiempo dejo escritos con toda la relación de ingresos y egresos del dinero.

We tried to go to the surrounding sites, but the truth is that because of the president's visit and not knowing that several of the places were by appointment, we ventured to the General Archive of the Nation, to see if it was possible to at least learn a little more about the history of this important construction for the country.

The truth, when we arrived there we were surprised by their good treatment towards us, we thought it would be more complex or bureaucratic to have a moment in the facilities and to our surprise, it was the opposite. They tried to place us with a specialist in the National Pantheon.

We found the history of the site we were going to visit impressive, which we discovered thanks to some books we borrowed from them.

It turns out that the National Pantheon was actually going to be a church and that it was at the request of a citizen. This church would be called Santísima Trinidad (Holy Trinity), that is also the reason for its architecture, although this current form is nothing more than a reconstruction after the earthquake of 1812.

The citizen who wanted the work to be carried out, sold 4 of his houses and borrowed money for its construction, but at the same time he left writings with all the relation of income and expenses of the money.

Luego de muchos datos interesantes, decidimos ir a un sitio que vía al Panteón vimos que si estaba abierto.

El lugar se llama “Casa de Estudio de la Historia de Venezuela, “Lorenzo A. Mendoza Quintero”. Es un espacio muy bonito para la difusión de conocimiento. En este lugar había una exposición de nociones básicas de la física con el que podías interactuar.

Además una cisterna en la que aun se escucha el agua y un patio bien bonito con cafetería.

De todas todas, no tuvimos un mal día, pero si quedamos con las ganas de ver más sobre el Panteón Nacional.

Mercurio retrogrado, termina ya!

After a lot of interesting facts, we decided to go to a place that we saw that was open on the way to the Pantheon.

The place is called "Casa de Estudio de la Historia de Venezuela, "Lorenzo A. Mendoza Quintero". It is a very nice space for the diffusion of knowledge. In this place there was an exhibition of basic notions of physics with which you could interact.

There is also a cistern in which you can still hear the water and a very nice patio with a cafeteria.

Anyway, we did not have a bad day, but we still wanted to see more about the National Pantheon.

Wish us luck for our next visit to the site to see it all!

Hoy les tenemos un storytime muy gracioso que contarles.

Resulta que hace días (por cierto estaba empezando las famosas semanas de mercurio retrógrado) y el calor a mil 🥵🥵🤭.

Decidimos (@mayvil y @cabetosag) ir al parque del este para ver qué tal estaba y mostrar uno de los lugares más icónicos a la hora, una salida tranquila con amigos y familiares que no sea en un centro comercial.

Today we have a very funny storytime to tell you.

It turns out that days ago (by the way was starting the famous mercury retrograde weeks) and the heat to a thousand 🥵🥵🤭.

We decided (@mayvil and @cabetosag) to go to the east park to see how it was and show one of the most iconic places at the time, a quiet outing with friends and family other than in a mall.

Nos conseguimos en la parada Wawa oficial que es Chacaíto y nos fuimos directo al Parque Francisco de Miranda, antiguo parque del este. Ese día por cierto Mayvil probó por primera vez la Wawa y le gustó.

Además fuimos con cupones de descuento por lo que no teníamos que gastar dinero en ir 😎😌.

We got to the official Wawa stop in Chacaíto and went straight to Parque Francisco de Miranda, the old park in the east. That day by the way Mayvil tried the Wawa for the first time and liked it.

Plus we went with discount coupons so we didn't have to spend money to go 😎😌.

Al llegar al parque decidimos caminar con calma los espacios porque la verdad es que el sol estaba bastante fuerte. Y mientras caminábamos estábamos coordinando qué visitar.

Decidimos ir al "Buque Leander" (copia del barco en el que llegó Francisco de Miranda a Venezuela con la Bandera Nacional).

When we arrived at the park we decided to walk calmly through the spaces because the truth is that the sun was quite strong. And while we were walking we were coordinating what to visit.

We decided to go to the "Buque Leander" (copy of the ship in which Francisco de Miranda arrived in Venezuela with the National Flag).

Nos dijeron que abría el recorrido después de la 1pm porque ya había un grupo antes. Nos dirigimos a la cafetería que está justo antes de iniciar el recorrido para descansar un poco del sol y esperar nuestro turno.

Pasan los minutos (justamente como unos 45 o 50min de espera) y cuando íbamos a entrar, quedamos así 🤡🤡🤡🤡 como payasos.

Resulta que el grupo mínimo para el recorrido eran 10 personas y nosotros éramos 3 y no nos dijeron nada sino que era después de la 1:00pm.

We were told that the tour opened after 1pm because there was already a group before. We headed to the cafeteria just before the tour started to take a break from the sun and wait our turn.

Minutes passed (about 45 or 50 minutes of waiting) and when we were about to enter, we were left like this 🤡🤡🤡🤡 like clowns.

It turns out that the minimum group for the tour was 10 people and we were 3 and they didn't tell us anything but that it was after 1:00pm.

Esperamos como 45 minutos para no poder entrar 😔.

Eso nos desmotivó mucho porque al salir de ahí queríamos visitar el planetario y ver bien los animales, pero ya veníamos de ese bajón anímico de no poder entrar.

Aunque cuando íbamos de camino nos pudimos dar cuenta que no habían aves, ni monos a la vista, no se que sucedió o si han muerto con el pasar del tiempo 😞.

Cómo estábamos al lado del nuevo acceso a "La Carlota" desde el parque decidimos ir para verlo. La verdad el puente es bien bonito, pero la Carlota y el estado del parque Francisco de Miranda no tiene mucho que ofrecer a los turistas.

We waited about 45 minutes before we couldn't get in 😔.

That really discouraged us because when we left we wanted to visit the planetarium and see the animals, but we were already in a bad mood because we couldn't get in.

Although when we were on our way we realized that there were no birds or monkeys in sight, I don't know what happened or if they have died with the passing of time 😞.

As we were next to the new access to "La Carlota" from the park we decided to go to see it. The truth is that the bridge is very nice, but La Carlota and the state of the park Francisco de Miranda does not have much to offer to tourists.

Manteníamos las ganas de terminar bien el día, pero la verdad una nube gris nos empezó a acechar y decidimos irnos del parque.

Nuestro nuevo destino nos ofrecía una muy buena promoción de cervezas de tercio para compartir y cambiar los ánimos del día 🍻🍻.

También se pidieron unas hamburguesas por delivery que gustaron mucho. Valió más la pena un plan simple para ese día y nos dimos cuenta que la pasamos mejor en esa improvisación del momento que buscar crear el contenido perfecto.

We were still eager to finish the day well, but the truth is that a gray cloud began to stalk us and we decided to leave the park.

Our new destination offered us a very good promotion of third beers to share and change the mood of the day 🍻🍻.

Some burgers were also ordered by delivery which we liked very much. It was more worth a simple plan for that day and we realized that we had a better time in that improvisation of the moment rather than trying to create the perfect content.

También es verdad que es culpa del mercurio retrógrado 🤭.

Mentira mentira, pero pronto si les mostraremos bien el parque Francisco de Miranda (en otro momento y que nos traten mucho mejor ❤️‍🩹).

Esperemos que ese día todo fluya mejor, la verdad es un lugar muy bonito pero que si la gente tampoco cuida no conservaremos.

Y sí, iremos con nuestro combo de gente para que nos dejen pasar al barco de Miranda 😂.

El motivo de querer contactar comunidades era tratar de hacer llegar la información de que es posible generar un impacto importante para los usuarios de la Blockchain Hive.

El cual consiste en poder intercambiar HBD a USDC mediante su plataforma.

Viendo el potencial de lo que nos ofrecían, decidimos hacer una cuenta de prueba y ver qué tal funcionaba.
