Hoy estoy muy feliz de empezar este nuevo año cantando una semana más en este espacio. ¡Llegamos a la semana 300! se dice fácil, pero son años de trayectoria de risas y llantos, de amor y entrega por traer buena música. Felicidades a todo el equipo de moderación por presentarnos esta hermosa comunidad donde cada uno de nosotros expresamos a través de la música lo que con palabras no podemos. Esta comunidad me vio evolucionar, experimentar con mi voz, perfomance de bajo presupuesto (risas), así es como el artista de hoy evoluciona, empezar es la clave, permanecer es el reto. Como se han dado cuenta me tomé estos meses de ausencia para disfrutar momentos con mi pareja, ya que apenas tenemos 9 meses en persona, pero 1 año de relación a distancia. Para tomar momentos para reflexionar, para continuar construyendo. En ocasiones es bueno tomarse un tiempo para reconstruirnos y encontrarnos a nosotros mismos.

Espero que estén pasando un sábado agradable; en esta oportunidad nos corresponde la semana 288 con su temática Góspel, la cuál me llena de mucha emoción porque se presta para hacer un trabajo grandioso para Dios, nuestro Señor. Él merece ser alabado y adorado por la eternidad, ya que nos compró con su preciosa sangre para nuestra redención y perdón de nuestros pecados. Como nos cita en la Biblia en el evangelio de Juan 3:16 "porque de tal manera Dios amó al mundo y entregó a su Hijo unigénito para que todo aquel que en Él crea no se pierda mas tenga vida Eterna."

Esta palabra la cargo conmigo en mi ser porque soy bendecida y amada por Jesús nuestro salvador. Sé que más de uno lo cree y es lo que me llena de gozo. Seguir a Cristo es una tarea muy valiente que debemos afrontar a diario, manteniéndonos firmes y llenos de fe, no permitamos que los malos momentos y problemas interiores nos arropen, más bien peguémonos más de la fe y el poder de Dios y en lo que puede hacer por nosotros.

I hope you are having a pleasant Saturday. This week is week 288, with the theme of Gospel, which fills me with great excitement because it lends itself to doing great work for God, our Lord. En Venezuela, año 2016 tuve la dicha de seguir a Cristo, dejar atrás mi vida triste y vacía y pegarme a su presencia, descubrí que con la música conecto más con el Padre Celestial, con cántico nuevo. Dios perdonó mis trasgresiones y me convirtió en su hija amada. Le doy infinitamente las gracias por sacarme de la oscuridad para conducirme a la luz. Hoy sigo en esa búsqueda y conexión, espero en Dios poder conseguir una iglesia para congregarme y ofrecer mi ofrenda agradable. Mediante la Oración y un grupo de jóvenes que me han invitado a congregarme virtualmente desde Venezuela me he sostenido, pero sé que Dios me guiará a un lugar de reunión presencial.

No he perdido la esperanza ni la fe en Jesucristo, y Hive Open Mic me dio la oportunidad de preparar un cántico con un conjunto de alabanzas al Rey de reyes que habla precisamente de seguir a Cristo, de dejar morir al viejo hombre y de exaltar su Nombre. Dios se convierte en nuestro papá ¿Y si nuestros padres terrenales estuvieran de cumpleaños, le darían el mejor regalo verdad? Así mismo hice yo pero al Creador del mundo para honrarlo como lo merece. Recíbelo como una ofrenda agradable.

In Venezuela, in 2016, I had the joy of following Christ, leaving behind my sad and empty life and sticking close to His presence. I discovered that through music I connect more with my Heavenly Father, with new songs. God forgave my transgressions and made me His beloved daughter. I am infinitely grateful to Him for bringing me out of darkness and into the light. Today I continue in that search and connection. I hope in God that I will be able to find a church to congregate with and offer my pleasing sacrifice. Through prayer and a group of young people who have invited me to congregate virtually from Venezuela, I have been sustained, but I know that God will guide me to a place of in-person worship.

I have not lost hope or faith in Jesus Christ, and Hive Open Mic gave me the opportunity to prepare a song with a set of praises to the King of kings that speaks precisely of following Christ, of letting the old man die and exalting His Name. God becomes our father. If it were our earthly parents' birthday, we would give them the best gift, right? That's what I did, but to the Creator of the world, to honor Him as He deserves. Receive it as a pleasing offering.

El gozo que siento en estos momentos no se puede describir con palabras, de hecho, mientras grababa se me anudaba la garganta y buscaba la perfección para cada canción. El arreglo coral lo hice yo misma, sólo tomé prestadas las siguientes alabanzas: Jesús mi fiel amigo de Abel Zavala, He decidido seguir a Cristo de Himnario Adventista y Agnus Dei de Marcos Barrientos. Todas versionadas por mi persona, acorde a mi registro vocal. Tomando una voz principal y tres voces haciendo los coros para darle profundidad y potencia a cada canción.
Fue un trabajo de dos días en la grabación y ecualización de las voces y otro día para grabar el performance y editar.

Espero de todo corazón que sea de su agrado y adoremos juntos a Jesús mediante la música. Les voy a compartir nuestro concepto de adoración: Es básicamente doblegarse a Dios, no es solo cantar por cantar, incluso los que no cantan, también pueden adorarlo en oración, presentando una ofrenda agradable, servirle. Otra manera de adorar a Dios es amándolo con toda nuestra alma, mente y corazón, obedecerlo y ser reverentes ante su presencia. Adorar en Espíritu y en Verdad. Verdad que es su Palabra. Yo soy el camino, la verdad y la vida, nadie viene al Padre sino por Mi. Juan 14:6.

The joy I feel right now cannot be described in words. In fact, while recording, my throat tightened and I sought perfection for each song. I did the choral arrangement myself, borrowing only the following hymns: Jesús mi fiel amigo by Abel Zavala, He decidido seguir a Cristo from the Adventist Hymnal, and Agnus Dei by Marcos Barrientos. Estas fiestas se realizan anualmente con el fin de honrar al plátano como motor de la economía del pueblo antioqueño de Sabaneta, Colombia. Mi novio me invitó a recorrer las plazas para ver estas festividades en vivo, recuerdo que por medio de videomensajes me mostraba estos momentos célebres. Pude ver en carne propia el calor de su gente, felices y compartiendo todos en armonía, pude ver que se hacen eventos musicales, de pintura, llegan artistas de Colombia y músicos reconocidos a nivel nacional e internacional. ¿Recuerdan el post que publicó @fernanblog? bueno, en estas fiestas llegan comediantes para sacarnos una carcajada y salir de la rutina del día a día.

En esta ocasión la actividad protagonista es el arte callejero y la pintura. Entrando vimos una tarina grande donde se presentarán los artistas, mas atrás había un toldo con muchos cuadros de artistas aficionados, el de la luna me dejó flechada.

Espero que estén pasando un sábado espectacular en el calor de su hogar o en su jornada laboral. En esta oportunidad me corresponde a honrar a la mujer que me dio la vida: Mi mamá.

Para él es algo totalmente innovador, ya que su fuerte es el heavy metal, específicamente los guturales; Fernando no había visto lo que yo sí: sus graves, así que nos pusimos manos a la obra para darle un toque de profundidad a la pieza. Today I am pleased to share with you a couple of days full of adventures with my mom last month specifically on March 24 and 25. It turns out that one day before my birthday I had to be in Caracas for an international trip the day after. Destination: Medellin - Colombia (but I'll tell you about that in another post).

Como lo indica la temática: Cambio Súbito, les quiero contar el cambio que le dio Hive a mi vida de una forma que jamás imaginé, y todo comenzó en un comentario que recibí justamente en esta comunidad de una persona genial, ya que su manera de llegar a la gente es cálida, amable y transparente. Desde ese día pensé: Quiero coincidir con él otra vez... y así fue. Semana a semana coincidíamos y nos dejábamos comentarios super extensos compartiéndonos contenidos viejos para conocernos más. Pasó un tiempo que dejé de publicar en Open Mic porque me enfoqué en otras cosas pero aun así lo recordaba. Anteriormente en la comunidad elegían a Artistas destacados y para mi sorpresa en esa oportunidad él era el artista destacado con su temática "Original Song" era la excusa perfecta para buscarlo y hablarle; hasta que por fin lo hallé. Desde ese entonces, nuestro trato fue en aumento y nos volvimos buenos amigos. Él estaba para y mi y yo para él pasara lo que pasara. Nos empezamos a visitar a diario en cada publicación que hacíamos. Yo disfrutaba mucho sus contenidos de videojuegos, aparte de los musicales, claro, más por los efectos especiales que los caracteriza en cada video musical. Lo miré con admiración.

Mi historia de amor con Fernando empieza luego de unos largos meses de plática y luego pasó un año ¿Qué? Todo fue tan rápido que ni cuenta nos dimos del tiempo. Él me inspiró a mejorar como ser humano, a creer en mi, a luchar por mis sueños y a amar. El sentimiento de amor florecía más y más y lo hermoso de todo esto es... que era correspondido. Tenia miedos, dudaba de este amor tan lejano, pero jamás perdí la fe. Todos los días queríamos saber uno del otro y en las peores circunstancias no nos separábamos, más bien nos dábamos fuerza. Eso hizo que me enamorara de él.

Una de las palabras que Fernando me llegó a decir una vez fueron: "Si es el plan de Dios, no descansaré hasta que estemos juntos".

Since then, our relationship grew and we became good friends. He was for me and I was for him no matter what. We started to visit each other daily in every publication we made. I really enjoyed his video game content, aside from the musicals, of course, more for the special effects that characterized them in each music video. I looked at him with admiration.

My love story with Fernando started after a few long months of talking and then a year went by... What? Everything happened so fast that we didn't even notice the time. He inspired me to improve as a human being, to believe in myself, to fight for my dreams and to love. The feeling of love flourished more and more and the beauty of it all is... that it was reciprocated. I had fears, I doubted this love so far away, but I never lost faith. Every day we wanted to know about each other and in the worst circumstances we did not separate, rather we gave each other strength. That made me fall in love with him.

One of the words Fernando once said to me was: If it is God's plan, I will not rest until we are together".

La elegí por el proceso tan tremendo que atravesamos Fernando y yo para poder estar juntos al fin, y en ese proceso pasó otro año, lloramos mucho pero teníamos la esperanza de que este plan no iba a ser en vano y ya nuestra decisión estaba tomada. Es aquí cuando descubro el concepto de que amar no es solo sentir mariposas en el estómago, no es hablarse bonito; amar es una decisión. Porque no solo debemos amar el físico o los detalles, también debemos amar los errores, los defectos. Amar es saber afrontar cada proceso con convicción, tender la mano cuando los ánimos estén por el piso. Es cruzar fronteras y asumir retos sin miedo al que dirán. Amar también es saber respetar el espacio del otro y avanzar juntos sin importar qué.
