Hey everyone! Welcome back to another week of the INLEO AMA. In today's Episode, Eric and I talk about INLEO's latest features, the new whitepaper, LEO tokenomics and more.

This is most likely the last AMA of 2023, so we wrapped everything up by talking about how things are with the frontend, backend and contracts right now.

We've been working overtime lately on the backend of the INLEO UI. We've seen a lot of node issues and other prominent features breaking due to the infrastructure.

Since this AMA went live, we finally deployed LeoNode along with a revamped version of LeoCache with far more scale in terms of server capacity.

The Labs UI has all of these changes and you can test them out now on https://labs.inleo.io. We plan to push them to production in the next 12-24 hours.

Hey everyone! Today was a packed AMA. We answered over 100 questions and had 700 comments live in the Threadcast.

You'll notice in this video it's the first time we've overlayed the Threadcast into the Livestream. The comments seem to be loading but might be slow in the livestream recording. We've got a better way to record them for next week's AMA so bear with us on this first one. You can scroll through all the comments here

It gets pretty heavy in the middle and at the end, with dozens of questions rolling in each minute. We answered so many of them!

We returned to the LIVE AMA circuit after being gone last week in Mexico for HiveFest Rosarito.

HiveFest was a blast. So many new friends made and I had a great time talking with all of you about Hive, LEO and where we're headed. Those are my favorite things to talk about! A little tequila to lighten the mood never hurt either :)

In this AMA, we talk about the Rebrand. Actually - we announce the exact date of the rebrand! Give it a listen to find out when that's happening... because it's soon.

We also discuss the report we released on @leofinance's blog yesterday which outlines our progress in September - the first month of our proposal being live - and how we onboarded 600+ new Hivers to the Hive blockchain.

LEO is now responsible for 40% of all new account signups. Our retention rate is solid and constantly something we are improving.

Recapping the Breathe! Conference and Gearing Up for HiveFest 2023

In this clip from yesterday's AMA, Mitch & I recap the Breathe! conference in Vegas that we just got back from. We made tons of connections and got to hang out with a few other Hive dApps.

The Hive booth, adorned with eye-catching artwork and featuring innovative applications, left a lasting impression on attendees, further solidifying Hive's position in the blockchain space.

One major piece of feedback we noticed was that people were blown away by Hive.

They were not only surprised that they'd never heard of Hive, but also surprised at how much was built on Hive.

With a booth setup like the one at Breathe, we were well positioned to show them. Some of the top dApps were there and each had a section in the Hive booth. This brought a life-like visualization of what Hive is like to the real-world.

We also talk about HiveFest and how we think it'll be different but great in its own way as a means to bringing Hivers together as opposed to marketing Hive to the outside like the last conference. It's a nice contrast!

Hey everyone! This was one of our most engaged AMAs ever. We had over 1,000 real-time comments as we all got to test the new Live Threadcast Mode feature.

ICYMI, this feature allows real-time chatting directly on the UI. Comments on Hive in real-time and sorted by latest.

This feature might sound simple on the surface, but the backend is actually quite intricate. It's beautifully designed on the front-end though.

It literally feels like a live chat room when you're in Threadcast Mode on the UI. I love it and I think all of you who were there live enjoyed it as well. We gave away hundreds of upvotes and had a ton of fun while we did Q&A.

In this video, we showcase the addition of edit and delete buttons to threads, easily accessible through the three-dot menu. But wait, there's more to come! Rethreading functionality, similar to retweeting, is on the horizon. While the front end is ready for rethreading, some backend magic is still required to make it a reality.

Our platform is built on the robust Hive blockchain, which ensures resistance to censorship and preserves data even in the face of bans or compromises. Editing or deleting a thread won't erase the original text from the blockchain, maintaining the integrity of the content history on-chain.

We're also exploring the idea of freemium models, where certain features like editing may require a specific Leo Power threshold. Don't worry, we'll clearly display LEO POWER-enabled features with an explanation of the required Leo Power, ensuring transparency and ease of use.
