Hola, mi gente linda, espero que hayan iniciado una Semana Santa de la mejor manera. Que les vaya bonito y puedan disfrutar en familia, en los que seguramente uno que otro día también lo tomaremos para hacer algunos proyectos y creaciones muy lindas.

En eso he estado estos días, creando algunos proyectos sencillos para usarlo en esta Semana Santa que luego les estaremos mostrando. Hoy paso por aquí para mostrarles ese día en donde fui al Castillo, mi tienda favorita donde venden insumos y materiales para nuestro proyecto de costura.

Este día fui a dos cosas: una para comprar una tela para hacerle un pantalón largo con tiempo a mi princesa Arianna. Ella me había dicho que quería una tela en color azul, pero todavía no estaba segura cuál tela comprarle porque le había comprado una blanca con la que le hice un pantalón palazzo blanco y transparentaba mucho y tuve que hacerle un pantalón corto para colocarse abajo. Así que quería una tela que no me diera ese efecto y más trabajo.

Bueno, por aquí les estaré mostrando las diferentes telas que estuve viendo y escogí una chambray que es como si fuera de jeans y también estuve viendo otra chambray de otros tonos y formas muy bonitas, un poco más costosas. Esta vez no las compré; seguro las estaré adquiriendo en otra oportunidad porque estaban demasiado bellas.

Otra cosa que compré fueron unos elásticos de diferentes tamaños y un lápiz tipo tiza para telas en color amarillo, porque el blanco lo probé y no se notaba mucho en las telas blancas ni en las de colores claros que casi siempre utilizo para mis costuras.

A la otra cosa que fui fue para buscar un presupuesto para hacer unos bolsos que me había dicho un futuro cliente que quería. Unos tótems, creo que les dicen; son unos bolsos o bolsas de tela que quería utilizar para meter unas carteras que va a estar vendiendo.

Él me enseñó una que quería en una foto, pero no encontraba la tela. Había unas que eran de lana bastante fuerte con una estructura gruesa, pero era costosa y él lo que quería era abaratar los costos mandándolas hacer y seguramente esa tela no la querría comprar para el fin que la quería, por eso estuve buscando otras opciones de telas, tocando las texturas, viendo los precios. Me conseguí una compañerita de clase del liceo y me dijo que ella hacía ese trabajo de las bolsas, pero las realizaba en tela pop; sin embargo, ahí en el castillo empezaron a vender esas bolsas y ahora las compra y solo las personaliza y quedan geniales con menos trabajo. Me pareció genial la idea, para que el cliente abarate costos.

Pero veo que cuando vaya a buscar presupuesto de esta forma, tiene que ser algo seguro, así no perder el tiempo; sin embargo, me queda la experiencia y ya he visto los precios, los tipos de tela y, si se presenta en algún momento la oportunidad de hacer este tipo de trabajo, le podré presentar una propuesta que le favorezca al cliente y me favorezca a mí.

Bueno, amigos, espero que puedan ver el video, quise hacer estas pruebas grabando un poco el proceso en la tienda. Casi nunca pasó videos por acá, pero quiero ir aprendiendo a hacer este tipo de contenido en video y paso a paso iré mejorando. Shopping for supplies to create new projects

Hello, my lovely friends! I hope you’ve started Holy Week off on the right foot. I hope you’re having a wonderful time and enjoying it with your families—and I’m sure we’ll all take a day or two to work on some beautiful projects and creations.

That’s what I’ve been up to these past few days—creating some simple projects to use this Holy Week, which we’ll be showing you later. Today I’m stopping by to tell you about the day I went to El Castillo, my favorite store where they sell supplies and materials for our sewing projects.

I went there for two reasons today: one was to buy fabric to make a pair of long pants for my princess Arianna. She had told me she wanted blue fabric, but I wasn’t sure which one to get her yet because I’d bought her some white fabric before—I made her white palazzo pants out of it, but they were too sheer, so I had to make her a pair of shorts to wear underneath. So I wanted a fabric that wouldn’t give me that problem or create more work.

Well, here I’ll be showing you the different fabrics I looked at. I chose a chambray that’s like denim, and I also looked at other chambrays in different shades and very pretty patterns, though they were a bit more expensive. I didn’t buy them this time; I’ll definitely pick them up another time because they were just too beautiful.

Another thing I bought was some elastic in different sizes and a yellow fabric marking pencil, because I tried the white one and it wasn’t very noticeable on the white fabrics or the light-colored ones I almost always use for my sewing.

The other thing I went to do was get a quote for making some bags that a potential client had told me he wanted. Totems, I think they’re called; they’re fabric bags he wanted to use to hold some wallets he’s going to be selling.

He showed me a photo of one he wanted, but I couldn’t find the fabric. There were some made of fairly sturdy wool with a thick weave, but it was expensive, and he wanted to keep costs down by having them made, so he probably wouldn’t want to buy that fabric for his intended purpose. That’s why I was looking for other fabric options, feeling the textures, and checking the prices. I got in touch with a classmate from high school, and she told me she used to make those bags, but she made them out of poplin; however, they started selling those bags at the castle, and now she buys them and just customizes them, and they turn out great with less work. I thought it was a great idea, so the client could keep costs down.

But I realize that when I go to get a quote this way, it has to be a sure thing so I don’t waste time; however, I’ve gained the experience and have already seen the prices and fabric types, and if the opportunity to do this kind of work ever comes up, I’ll be able to present a proposal that benefits both the client and me.

Domingo de Ramos, iniciamos la Semana Santa

Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridos amigos de @lifeStyle. Es un gusto visitarlos en este Domingo de Ramos, en donde damos inicio a la Semana Santa. Hoy bien temprano nos levantamos para alistarnos y así poder ir a la caminata que haríamos los feligreses de la iglesia Nuestra Señora de Coromoto en la Avenida Panamericana hasta la iglesia en donde estaríamos escuchando la palabra de Dios en la misa dominical.

A pesar de todos los intentos, se nos hizo un poco tarde; sin embargo, llegamos prácticamente cuando ya estaba saliendo la procesión, pero en realidad no llegamos a la hora pautada y así no pudimos ver la bendición de las palmas en el sitio fijado; sin embargo, nos dieron algunas palmas ya bendecidas y así pudimos hacer el recorrido hasta la iglesia.

Donde pudimos juntos, como familia, recibir todas las bendiciones de la palabra de Dios de este día en donde, como les digo, celebramos el Domingo de Ramos. La misa estuvo muy bonita, la iglesia estaba preciosa, había palmas por todos lados, nuestro Señor Jesús el Nazareno estaba muy lindo, colorido con ramos y flores y, de fondo, nuestro hermoso mapa de Venezuela con sus colores y estrellas tan lindas que la adornan.

Así damos inicio a la Semana Mayor, propicia para la reconciliación, el renacer, la paz, el perdón, replantearnos qué y cómo estamos haciendo las cosas. Esperamos que todos podamos pasarla muy bien, hacer buenas obras, asistir a la iglesia a sus diferentes actividades y compartir en familia.

Palm Sunday: We Begin Holy Week

Greetings and blessings, my dear friends at @lifeStyle. It’s a pleasure to visit you on this Palm Sunday, as we begin Holy Week. We got up very early today to get ready so we could join the procession of parishioners from the Church of Our Lady of Coromoto along Panamericana Avenue to the church where we would hear the Word of God during Sunday Mass.

Despite our best efforts, we were a little late; however, we arrived just as the procession was starting to leave, but we didn’t actually make it at the scheduled time, so we couldn’t see the blessing of the palms at the designated spot; nevertheless, they gave us some already-blessed palms, and so we were able to make the walk to the church.

There, together as a family, we received all the blessings of God’s word on this day when, as I said, we celebrated Palm Sunday. The Mass was very beautiful; the church was lovely, with palms everywhere. Our Lord Jesus of Nazareth looked so beautiful, adorned with colorful bouquets and flowers, and in the background, our beautiful map of Venezuela with its colors and lovely stars that adorn it.

This is how we begin Holy Week, a time conducive to reconciliation, rebirth, peace, forgiveness, and rethinking what we’re doing and how we’re doing it. We hope that we can all have a wonderful time, do good deeds, attend the church’s various activities, and spend time together as a family.

Seguimos con la mudanza | 3.°, 4.° y 5.° día

Hola, mi gente bonita de @HomeSolution, una vez más por acá por esta linda comunidad. Espero que todos se encuentren bien y con todo en orden en sus hogares. El día de hoy vengo a mostrarles los avances de la mudanza que les estuve comentando hace días, en donde les compartí un vídeo con el primer segundo día de la mudanza.

Ahora bien, esto que les comparto es cómo estuvimos sacando todas las cosas que se tenían que retirar del apartamento de mi prima antes de venderlo. Como verán en las imágenes y vídeos, había muchas cosas, aunque lo que son los muebles más grandes se iban a quedar; las cosas más pequeñas, más que todo las que estaban dentro de los gabinetes, que son muchos, y los closets eran lo que teníamos que ir sacando, ordenando en bolsas, en cajas e identificándolos, puesto que había muchas cosas de vidrio del área de la cocina, también muchos libros, ropa de camas y así, Como ya les había venido contando por aquí aún seguíamos sacando más y más cosas.

Uno ve que son poquitas pertenencias una vez que ya están apiladas, ordenadas, embaladas, pero el trabajo tomó su tiempo. En estos tres días, dos de ellos mi princesa Ámbar nos estuvo acompañando y ayudando en este proceso.

Por acá nos pasó una anécdota: andábamos buscando cajas y, bueno, no conseguíamos; en uno que otro supermercado nos daban una o dos cajitas y comprábamos bolsas negras. No sé si la otra vez le conté que hasta tuve un pequeño inconveniente con unos recoge cajas; no me querían dar ni siquiera una y no me pasó una vez, sino dos veces, así que si ya se lo conté, se lo vuelvo a contar, jejeje, porque luego me pasó de nuevo, ya que fueron varios días en eso.

Con esto veo el gran valor que tienen esas cajas que muchos desechan y es que, cuando uno las necesita, son más que unas cajas vacías. Además, he visto que se hacen muchas manualidades con ellas. Con decirles que detrás de los muebles tengo una caja de televisión como una reliquia, para algo me va a servir, jejeje.

Uno de los días que estábamos en la mudanza, creo que fue en el cuarto día, en pleno proceso se nos fue la luz o, más bien, una fase; había unos bombillos con luz, otros no; por lo menos la nevera y ni en los aires teníamos electricidad, pero queríamos terminar y estábamos dándole duro, así sea con las linternas del teléfono para hacer lo más posible.

La verdad que fue toda una aventura; nos dio trabajo, nos cansamos la espalda, pero tuvimos varios aprendizajes y tendremos pendientes algunos detalles para cuando tengamos una próxima mudanza, que ojalá sea la de nosotros para un nuevo hogar; le pido a Dios que así sea.

***We're Still Moving | Days 3, 4, and 5

Hi, my lovely @HomeSolution folks, here again in this wonderful community. I hope everyone is doing well and that everything is in order at home. Today I’m here to show you the progress of the move I’ve been telling you about for the past few days, where I shared a video of the first and second days of the move.

Now, what I’m sharing with you today is how we went about removing all the items that needed to be cleared out of my cousin’s apartment before selling it. As you’ll see in the photos and videos, there was a lot of stuff—though the larger pieces of furniture were staying; the smaller items—mostly the ones inside the cabinets, of which there are many—and the closets were what we had to take out, organize into bags and boxes, and label, since there were a lot of glass items from the kitchen area, as well as many books, bedding, and so on. As I’ve been telling you here, we were still taking out more and more things.

You realize there aren’t that many belongings once they’re all stacked, organized, and packed, but the work took its time. Over these three days, my princess Amber was with us for two of them, helping us through this process.

Here’s a little story that happened to us: we were looking for boxes and, well, we couldn’t find any; at one or two supermarkets they gave us a box or two, and we bought black trash bags. I don’t know if I told you last time that I even had a little run-in with some box collectors; they wouldn’t give me even one, and it didn’t happen just once, but twice, so if I already told you, I’ll tell you again, hehehe, because it happened to me again later, since it took several days to get through it all.

This makes me realize how valuable those boxes are that many people throw away—because when you need them, they’re more than just empty boxes. Plus, I’ve seen that people make all kinds of crafts with them. Suffice it to say that behind the furniture I have a TV box like a relic; it’s going to come in handy for something, hehehe.

One of the days we were moving—I think it was the fourth day—right in the middle of the process, the power went out, or rather, one phase went out; some lights were on, others weren’t; at least the fridge and the air conditioners had power, but we wanted to finish and were working hard, even using our phone flashlights to get as much done as possible.

It was truly quite an adventure; it was hard work, our backs got tired, but we learned a lot, and we’ll have a few things to keep in mind for our next move—which I hope will be our own move into a new home; I pray to God that it will be so.

Hola, mi gente linda de @motherhood. Espero que todo se encuentre muy bien con la bendición de Dios, que todos hayan pasado un feliz fin de semana. Por aquí hace bastante calor. Venimos de misa, vamos camino al mercado a comprar los ingredientes para hacer una rica sopa de lagarto en estos momentos que les escribo estas líneas, y bueno, parece que la Semana Santa ya está aquí; el sol está radiante. Ya se siente un ambiente de playa estupendo. Todavía nos falta una semana más para las ansiadas vacaciones de Semana Santa, en donde estaremos haciendo algunas actividades religiosas y, por qué no, también visitar uno que otro día la playa, porque es algo que mis niñas están ansiando, aunque yo con este sol tan implacable no quisiera poner un pie sobre la arena. Bueno, bueno, ya veremos y ya les estaré contando.

El día de hoy paso por aquí a mostrarles este pequeño vídeo que le estuve haciendo a mi princesa Ámbar, como ya les había como contado por acá seguimos con los problemas de agua, no nos llega el agua de por tuberia todos los días, es una situación que está afectando a la ciudad de Cumaná y a otras ciudades aledañas por lo que han puesto planes de contingencias en las instituciones y sobre todo en las escuelas, con esto han decidido modificar los horarios, por ejemplo mis niñas están viendo de 3 a 4 horas de clase y dos o tres días a la semana.

Y los días que no tienen clases les mandan tareas online, así que la maestra nos mandó unas imágenes por el grupo de WhatsApp a los representantes y los niños tienen que resolverlas en casa. Así que los días que no tienen clases, nosotros tenemos la escuelita en nuestro hogar y siempre tengo que estar haciendo fotos y videos a Ámbar para mandarlos como evidencia de que está estudiando.

En este día les muestro este, aunque tengo muchos otros; les quise mostrar este porque no costó. Tuvimos mucha adrenalina al hacerlo, ya que eran varias actividades en donde tenía que ponerle mucho más empeño; prácticamente las otras actividades eran más que todo de selección y de lectura. Aquí había que leer, escribir, realizar operaciones matemáticas sencillas y además dibujar; mi niña las hizo muy bien, aunque se cansaba y tomábamos un break y luego seguíamos.

Sin embargo, la maestra tomó la decisión de cerrar el grupo de WhatsApp a las 6 de la tarde y hasta esa hora recibiría las actividades, y este día estábamos contra el reloj porque ya un día antes nos habían cerrado el grupo justamente cuando íbamos a mandar la tarea. Así que tuvimos que enviarla el día siguiente y este día no queríamos que fuera así.

Estábamos por terminar la tarea; eran diez para las 6 y todavía estábamos en los últimos detalles; luego había que editar el vídeo que hoy les comparto para enviarlo y justo a las 5 y 59 minutos de la tarde lo enviamos. Eso fue toda una celebración de mi princesa y mía porque lo logramos en equipo.

Y justo la maestra, al ver el mensaje de la tarea a las 6:04 de la tarde, cerró el grupo y fue otro momento de celebración porque sí pudimos llegar a tiempo. Esto nos enseña que debemos apurarnos, acelerar el paso y hacer las tareas en menor tiempo para poder entregarlas sin estar con estos apuros o recorre.

Bueno, amigos, espero que les guste el vídeo. Acá solo coloco extractos pequeños de las tareas que ella va haciendo para que el vídeo no sea tan largo, ya que son 33 alumnos y todos los representantes están mandando muchas fotos y vídeos de sus niños haciendo actividades; sin embargo, nosotras tratamos de hacer un solo vídeo con todos los extractos de cada una de las actividades.

We're continuing with our online activities

Hello, my lovely people at @motherhood. I hope everyone is doing well with God’s blessing and that you all had a happy weekend. It’s pretty hot here. We just came back from Mass, and as I write these lines, we’re on our way to the market to buy ingredients for a delicious lizard soup. Well, it seems like Holy Week is already here; the sun is shining brightly. You can already feel that wonderful beach vibe. We still have one more week to go before our long-awaited Holy Week vacation, during which we’ll be doing some religious activities and—why not?—visiting the beach every now and then, because that’s something my girls are really looking forward to, even though with this relentless sun, I wouldn’t want to set foot on the sand. Well, well, we’ll see, and I’ll keep you posted.

Today I stopped by to show you this little video I made of my princess Amber. As I’ve mentioned here before, we’re still dealing with water issues— we don’t get running water every day. It’s a situation affecting the city of Cumaná and other nearby cities, so contingency plans have been put in place at institutions—especially schools. Because of this, they’ve decided to adjust the schedules; for example, my girls are attending 3 to 4 hours of class two or three days a week.

And on the days they don’t have classes, they’re given online homework. So the teacher sent some images to the parents via the WhatsApp group, and the kids have to work on them at home. So on the days they don’t have classes, we have a little school right here at home, and I’m always taking photos and videos of Ámbar to send as proof that she’s studying.

Today I’m showing you this one, though I have many others; I wanted to show you this one because it wasn’t easy. We got really excited doing it, since there were several activities where she had to put in a lot more effort; the other activities were mostly about selecting and reading. Here she had to read, write, do simple math problems, and also draw; my little girl did them very well, although she got tired and we took a break and then continued.

However, the teacher decided to close the WhatsApp group at 6 p.m. and would only accept the activities until that time, and that day we were racing against the clock because the day before they had closed the group just as we were about to send the homework. So we had to send it the next day, and we didn’t want that to happen again.

We were about to finish the homework; it was ten to six, and we were still working on the final details; then we had to edit the video I’m sharing with you today to send it, and we sent it at exactly 5:59 p.m. That was a real celebration for my little princess and me because we did it as a team.

And just as the teacher saw the homework message at 6:04 p.m., she closed the group chat—another moment to celebrate because we actually managed to get it in on time. This teaches us that we need to hurry up, pick up the pace, and finish our homework faster so we can turn it in without rushing or feeling stressed.

Here I’m just posting short clips of the assignments she’s working on so the video isn’t too long, since there are 33 students and all the parents are sending lots of photos and videos of their kids doing activities; however, we’re trying to make a single video with clips from each of the activities.

Trabajando en una mudanza | Días 1 y 2

Saludos y bendiciones mi queridos amigos de @Homesolución, es un gusto estar de vuelta en esta mi querida comunidad, la verdad tenía bastante tiempo sin crear contenido para ustedes o más bien sin publicar, porque de que tengo contenido, lo tengo, pero ahora me puse manos a la obra para compartir esta experiencia que estamos viviendo con la mudanza que estamos realizando en el apartamento de una prima el cual tengo varios años cuidándolo y manteniéndolo ha sido bonito como lo podrán ver en el vídeo.

La idea de esta mudanza es que estamos en proceso de venta y, si bien no le he mostrado cómo he venido limpiando este apartamento, como hemos hecho algunas reparaciones y comprado algunas herramientas, haciendo algunos cambios para que cada día esté mejor, esta vez sí les voy a estar compartiendo el proceso de mudanza.

A través de las imágenes y vídeos podrán ver que fueron dos días diferentes. En el primer día les estuve grabando cómo estuvo el apartamento, así tal cual mi prima lo dejó, todo ordenado y muy bonito, como pueden ver. Tiene muchos gabinetes y closets en donde hay guardadas muchas cosas que son las que estaremos sacando para llevar a otro lugar.

El apartamento se va a vender amoblado; sin embargo, como les digo, las cosas que están dentro de los gabinetes, como son todos los utensilios de cocina, los electrodomésticos, libros, cuadernos, todo tipo de papelería, máquina de hacer ejercicios, entre otras cosas que estarán viendo en el vídeo, sí se van a ir.

En este primer día estuvimos sacando la ropa de cama, los paños, alguna prenda de vestir; todas esas cosas las estuvimos metiendo en bolsas negras y solo habíamos llevado dos cajas. Así fue que fueron pocas cosas las que pudimos guardar y así nos dimos cuenta, mi esposo y yo, que estamos juntos en este proceso, de cuántas cajas y bolsas necesitábamos para el resto de las cosas que aún no habíamos sacado.

Espero que les puedan echar un ojo al vídeo y por allá les estaré contando más sobre esta experiencia, que hicimos en el segundo día, y de antemano les digo que todavía falta trabajo por hacer, que luego les estaré mostrando por aquí en un nuevo blog.

Working on a move | Days 1 and 2

Greetings and blessings, my dear friends at @Homesolución. It is a pleasure to be back in my beloved community. The truth is that I haven't created content for you in quite some time, or rather, I haven't published anything, because I do have content. but now I've got down to work to share this experience we're having with the move we're making in my cousin's flat, which I've been looking after and maintaining for several years. It's been lovely, as you can see in the video.

The idea behind this move is that we are in the process of selling the flat, and although I haven't shown you how I've been cleaning it, how we've made some repairs and bought some tools, making some changes to improve it every day, this time I am going to share the moving process with you.

Through the images and videos, you can see that it took two different days. On the first day, I was recording how the flat was, just as my cousin left it, all tidy and very nice, as you can see. It has many cupboards and closets where many things are stored, which we will be taking to another place.

The flat is going to be sold furnished; however, as I said, the things inside the cupboards, such as all the kitchen utensils, appliances, books, notebooks, all kinds of stationery, exercise machine, among other things that you will see in the video, are going to be taken away.

On this first day, we took out the bedding, towels, and some clothing; we put all those things in black bags and had only taken two boxes. So, we were only able to keep a few things, and my husband and I, who are going through this process together, realised how many boxes and bags we needed for the rest of the things we hadn't taken out yet.

I hope you can take a look at the video, where I'll be telling you more about this experience, which we did on the second day. I can tell you in advance that there is still work to be done, which I will be showing you here in a new blog post.

Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridos amigos de @motherhood. Espero que estén pasando un grandioso y feliz fin de semana. También aprovecho de felicitar a todas las mujeres de la blockchain que me leen, ya que por aquí estamos celebrando el Día de la Mujer. Tenía tiempo que no pasaba por aquí; han sido días bastante ocupados en tareas del hogar, del trabajo y de la escuela.

Por otro lado, les cuento que por aquí estamos pasando una situación bastante irregular con el suministro de agua potable en nuestros hogares, puesto que las tuberías que nos surten de agua tuvieron un gran inconveniente, por el cual tenemos más de dos semanas que el suministro de agua ha estado fatal; a veces llega, a veces no, y cuando lo hace es de ratico, y por esto han suspendido las clases.

Es por esto que han tomado la medida de mandar clases online para que los niños no se queden sin hacer sus actividades y no se atrasen en este lapso escolar. Por aquí les comparto un pequeño video que estuve haciendo para enviárselo a la maestra de Ámbar.

Ella nos mandó las imágenes que por acá les comparto en el video, en donde pide hacer tres actividades muy sencillas para que ellos se vayan adaptando a esta modalidad mientras que se soluciona esta problemática que esperamos sea pronto, aunque se ve muy lejano por la gravedad del asunto, ya que se ha decretado emergencia hídrica.

Esta actividad, aunque se ve bastante sencilla, los niños tenían que leer lo que les pedían y seleccionar lo que creían conveniente según las preguntas. Además, también tenían que colorear algunos dibujos y seleccionar la opción que correspondía a cada uno de los dibujos.

Y como ya les dije, aprovechando que tenían que hacer este video para enviarlo a la escuela, aproveché para compartirles por aquí, ya que quedó bien bonito.

On the other hand, I want to tell you that we are experiencing a rather unusual situation with the drinking water supply in our homes, as the pipes that supply us with water have had a major problem, which means that for more than two weeks the water supply has been terrible; sometimes it comes, sometimes it doesn't, and when it does, it's only for a short time, which is why classes have been suspended.

This is why they have decided to hold classes online so that the children do not miss out on their activities and fall behind in their studies. Here is a short video I made to send to Ámbar's teacher.

She sent us the images that I am sharing with you here in the video, in which she asks them to do three very simple activities so that they can adapt to this new way of learning while this problem is being solved, which we hope will be soon, although it seems very far off given the seriousness of the situation, as a water emergency has been declared.

This activity, although it looks quite simple, required the children to read what was asked of them and select what they thought was appropriate based on the questions. In addition, they also had to colour some drawings and select the option that corresponded to each of the drawings.

And as I said, taking advantage of the fact that they had to make this video to send to the school, I took the opportunity to share it here, as it turned out really nicely.

Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridos amigos de @lifestyle. Espero que estén disfrutando de estos bonitos carnavales 2026; por acá lo hemos estado pasando muy bien, haciendo cosas sencillas, pero alegres en familia. Este viernes pasado estuvimos disfrutando del desfile de carnaval realizado por las diferentes instituciones educativas de nuestra querida ciudad de Cumaná.

Gracias a Dios llegamos temprano y estuvimos esperando hasta que dieran inicio al desfile de muchos niños, representantes y docentes que le dieron vida, color y música a este bonito evento. Me quedé sorprendida con tantas escuelas que estuvieron presentes en estas comparsas escolares y no me había fijado que hubiera tantas instituciones educativas en nuestra ciudad. Aunque debo decir que había de todas las clases, desde maternal, preescolar, primaria, liceo, escuelas especiales y demás.

Hasta había niños discapacitados con sus sillas de ruedas o con condiciones especiales que me llamaron mucho la atención; se veían tan lindos, tan emocionados sus padres de verlos participando, de verdad que fue muy bonito.

Gracias a Dios que conseguimos un lugar en donde podíamos ver muy bien porque había bastante gente por toda la avenida por donde se estaban presentando estas comparsas. Se veía un poco desordenado porque, como les digo, eran niños que venían acompañados con sus padres, que muchas veces se metían a las comparsas y no dejaban ver muy bien lo colorido, lo bonito de sus disfraces. De verdad se vio todo el esfuerzo que hicieron los padres y representantes para que los niños participaran.

Cabe mencionar que esta vez las comparsas tenían una temática basada en la venezolanidad, la paz y la unión de los pueblos; muchos estaban vestidos con los colores de nuestra querida bandera de Venezuela, también de naturaleza, muchos árboles como el araguaney, con ese color amarillo que relumbraba entre la gente. Había muchos trajes lindos, así como pancartas y bandas musicales con ritmo de carnaval que alegraban y ponían a bailar a los presentes.

Por acá les dejo algunos fotos y pequeños vídeos de estas comparsas aunque se ven muchos, podriannser más, tenia el teléfono un poco descargado, ademas de la poca memoria, aun asi no queria dejar de capturar estos momentos y compartirlos en mi blog.

Porque les digo tengo material de los carnavales 2025 demás que nunca publique y están esperando una oportunidad. Así que esta vez quise compartirles esto calentito y no fueran a quedar en el olvido.

Luego nos fuimos a comer unos ricos helados en una bonita heladería, hay muchas heladerías por esta zona donde estaban las comparsas, la mayoría estaban llenas, en esta conseguimos por lo menos entrar, ni siquiera los helados los comimos adentro, estabamos afuera y de ahí estamos viendo cómo se estaban terminando las comparsas y los helados derritiéndose un poco, pero estaban deliciosos. Por cierto a Ámbar se le cayó la mitad a la barquilla, le compartí de la mía. La verdad pasamos esta tarde especial y lo demás días también estuvimos compartiendo gracias a Dios.

School dance troupes

Greetings and blessings, my dear friends at @lifestyle. I hope you are enjoying these beautiful 2026 carnivals; here we have been having a great time, doing simple but joyful things as a family. This past Friday we enjoyed the carnival parade organised by the different educational institutions in our beloved city of Cumaná.

Thank God we arrived early and waited until the parade began, with many children, representatives, and teachers bringing life, colour, and music to this beautiful event. I was surprised by how many schools were present in these school parades, and I hadn't realised there were so many educational institutions in our city. Although I must say that there were all kinds, from nursery, preschool, primary school, secondary school, special schools and so on.

There were even children with disabilities in their wheelchairs or with special conditions that caught my attention; they looked so cute, their parents were so excited to see them participating, it was really beautiful.

Thank God we found a place where we could see very well because there were quite a few people all along the avenue where these troupes were performing. It looked a bit messy because, as I said, there were children accompanied by their parents, who often got in the way of the troupes and blocked the view of their colourful, beautiful costumes. You could really see all the effort that the parents and guardians had made to get the children to participate.

It is worth mentioning that this time the troupes had a theme based on Venezuelan identity, peace and the unity of peoples; many were dressed in the colours of our beloved Venezuelan flag, as well as nature, with many trees such as the araguaney, with its yellow colour shining among the people. There were many beautiful costumes, as well as banners and musical bands with carnival rhythms that cheered up and made everyone dance.

Here are some photos and short videos of these groups. Although there are many, there could be more, but my phone battery was low, and I didn't have much memory left. Even so, I didn't want to miss capturing these moments and sharing them on my blog.

I have material from the 2025 carnivals that I never published and are waiting for an opportunity. So this time I wanted to share this with you while it's still fresh and not let it be forgotten.

Then we went to eat some delicious ice cream at a nice ice cream parlour. There are many ice cream parlours in this area where the comparsas were, and most of them were full. At least we managed to get into this one, but we didn't even eat the ice cream inside. We were outside watching the comparsas finish and the ice cream melt a little, but it was delicious. By the way, Ámbar dropped half of hers on the pavement, so I shared mine with her. We really had a special afternoon, and we spent the rest of the days sharing too, thank God.

Así pasamos la Navidad en familia

Hola, mi gente bella de @family-friends, un gusto saludarlos. Tenía días que no pasaba por aquí. Anécdotas y aventuras familiares tengo muchas que contarles y mostrarles, y una de ellas es de cómo pasamos la noche de Navidad.

Sí, ya sé que ha pasado un tiempo y ahorita lo que la gente está esperando son los carnavales, jejeje. Pero igual tengo muchas cosas que compartir en mi blog y dejarlas por aquí de recuerdo.

Este día fue tipo tranquilo; todos nos arreglamos lindos con los que se pudo. Mis niñas tenían unos estrenos muy lindos y lo mejor fue que mi hija mayor, Orismar, esta vez sí estaba con nosotros.

Nos reunimos en casa de mi mamá, en donde estuvo preparando una rica cena navideña. Nosotros llegamos temprano. Sin embargo, en casa acostumbran para estas fechas a vestirse muy tarde, así que todos estábamos sentados a la mesa; ya las niñas estaban con ganas de probar esas hallacas, jejeje.

Esta vez hubo menos fuegos artificiales por la calle; las niñas jugaron con cebollitas y estrellas con las cuales tomamos unas lindas fotos.

Estuvimos conversando y tomándonos algo hasta tarde; nos distrajimos tanto que no salimos a caminar por ahí, como siempre hacemos. La verdad es que en nuestras Navidades solo estamos reunidos en casa; estar juntos es lo más importante.

Los niños, todos lindos, lo que estaban esperando era la hora de la llegada del Niño Jesús, para recibir sus regalos. Mis sobrinos estaban felices con las bicicletas que les trajeron.

Mis también recibieron varios regalos; en casa ellas los reciben cuando ya despiertan por la mañana y su cara de alegría es mágica y gratificante. Agradezco a todos los que hicieron felices a mis princesas.

This is how we spent Christmas with our family

Yes, I know it's been a while and right now people are waiting for carnival, hehehe. But I still have lots of things to share on my blog and leave here as memories.

It was a quiet day; we all dressed up as best we could. My girls had some very pretty new outfits, and the best thing was that my eldest daughter, Orismar, was with us this time.

We gathered at my mother's house, where she was preparing a delicious Christmas dinner. We arrived early. However, at home, they usually get dressed very late at this time of year, so we were all sitting at the table; the girls were already eager to try those hallacas, hehehe.

This time there were fewer fireworks in the street; the girls played with sparklers and stars, which we took some nice photos of.

We talked and had drinks until late; we got so distracted that we didn't go for a walk, as we usually do. The truth is that at Christmas we just get together at home; being together is the most important thing.

The children, all so cute, were waiting for the Baby Jesus to arrive so they could receive their presents. My nephews were delighted with the bicycles they received.

My daughters also received several gifts; at home, they receive them when they wake up in the morning, and the look of joy on their faces is magical and rewarding. I am grateful to everyone who made my princesses happy.

Momentos divertidos de la fiesta de promoción de Ámbar | Parte 2

Hola, mi gente linda de @motherhood, lo prometido es deuda y por aquí les vengo a compartir la segunda parte de la fiesta de promoción de primer grado de mi princesa Ámbar. Por aquí les dejo la primera parte.

Como les había dicho en el post anterior, para que no fuera tan largo y Threespeak me dejara cargar el video, lo dividí en dos y en esta parte están los videos de las vivencias de esta gran celebración.

Para ponerlos en contexto, ese día en horas de la mañana fue su acto de promoción de preescolar a primer grado y de ahí cada quien a sus casas a quitarse los trajes formales para ponerse sus outfits de piscina.

Nosotros nos cambiamos y terminamos de hacer la ensalada de pollo que llevaríamos con tartaletas y luego teníamos que ir a comprar hielo. Fuimos a la licorería y luego mejor fuimos a la fábrica de hielos, que salían más económicas las bolsas, ya que eran 6 que tenía que comprar.

Ámbar estaba desesperada por llegar, ya que la mayoría de los niños ya se estaban bañando en la piscina. Al llegar, todo se veía bien chévere, de verdad el lugar genial. Lo único que era un poco lejos de casa.

La decoración: Le pagamos nuevamente a la decoradora para que la llevara de la escuela a la fiesta y pusiera más globos. La torta la hizo una representante con la colaboración que habíamos recogido para gastos varios; quedó deliciosa, al igual que los cupcakes que hizo otra representante.

Los niños disfrutaron más esas piscinas. De a ratos salían para hacer los juegos que tenían preparados los recreadores para ellos. Además, teníamos varios premios para que todos se fueran a casa con un obsequio, además de sus cotillones, que eran unas loncheras rotuladas con sus nombres y chucherías, algo que a ellos les encanta. Ámbar se ganó una gorra bien linda y un vaso, también muy bonito.

Para los grandes, más bien para las mamás más bochincheras, también hicieron un juego muy divertido: todas metíamos un pie en una liga circular y dábamos vueltas. Yo fui la primera en perder, jejeje. Pero fue bien emocionante, los invito a ver en el vídeo.

La fiesta estuvo genial, hasta pedimos una hora más, ya que era hasta las 6 pm y la gente se fue a las 7 pm. Nosotros nos quedamos de últimos, ya que estábamos esperando a la decoradora, que tenía que venir a retirar el mobiliario y tenía que cancelar sus servicios.

Aprovechamos de bañarnos un rato más y también pasear en los columpios. Ah, y mis niñas aprovecharon de explotar los globos.

Fue una gran experiencia que disfrutamos al máximo y esperamos que se pueda repetir antes de la próxima promoción, que será en 6 años, jejeje.

Fun moments from Amber's graduation party | Part 2

Hello, my lovely people at @motherhood, a promise is a promise, so here I am to share the second part of my princess Amber's first grade graduation party. Here's the first part.

As I mentioned in the previous post, so that it wouldn't be too long and Threespeak would let me upload the video, I divided it into two parts. This part includes videos of the experiences from this great celebration.

To give you some context, that morning was her graduation ceremony from preschool to first grade, and then everyone went home to change out of their formal attire and into their pool outfits.

We got changed and finished making the chicken salad that we would take with the tartlets, and then we had to go and buy ice. We went to the liquor store and then decided to go to the ice factory instead, as the bags were cheaper there, and I had to buy six of them.

Amber was desperate to get there, as most of the children were already swimming in the pool. When we arrived, everything looked really cool, it was a great place. The only thing was that it was a bit far from home.

The decorations: We paid the decorator again to take them from school to the party and put up more balloons. The cake was made by a representative with the money we had collected for miscellaneous expenses; it was delicious, as were the cupcakes made by another representative.

The children enjoyed the pools the most. From time to time, they would come out to play the games that the entertainers had prepared for them. We also had several prizes so that everyone could go home with a gift, in addition to their party bags, which were lunch boxes labelled with their names and filled with sweets, something they love. Amber won a very nice cap and a glass, which was also very pretty.

For the grown-ups, or rather for the more boisterous mums, they also organised a very fun game: we all put one foot in a circular elastic band and spun around. I was the first to lose, hehehe. But it was very exciting, I invite you to watch the video.

The party was great, we even asked for an extra hour, as it was until 6 pm and people left at 7 pm. We were the last to leave, as we were waiting for the decorator, who had to come and collect the furniture and cancel her services.

We took the opportunity to swim a little longer and also play on the swings. Oh, and my girls had fun popping the balloons.

It was a great experience that we enjoyed to the fullest, and we hope to do it again before the next graduation, which will be in six years, hehehe.

Fiesta de promoción de Ámbar | 1.ª parte

Saludos y bendiciones, mi gente linda de @motherhood, muchas alegrías para todos, que sus días sean tan lindos y divertidos como esta gran celebración que le hicimos a nuestros hijos que fueron promovidos a primer grado.

Sí, hacen ya varios meses desde este acontecimiento especial de mi princesa Ámbar; así como este tengo muchos más por compartir, pero llegó el día en el que este contenido viera la luz en mi blog y se los comparto con entusiasmo.

Los invito a ver el video, que es de todas las imágenes que pude capturar de aquel día, que aunque son más de 100 me quede corta, jejeje.

Y es que, como era la organizadora principal de la fiesta, estaba de aquí para allá atendiendo a los niños, los homenajeados del día y a sus representantes, que de estos unos cuantos me ayudaron en esta tarea.

La verdad es que fue una celebración muy especial. Ya les había contado antes aquí en mi blog que estaba en los preparativos de la promoción de mi princesa Ámbar y sus compañeros de clases.

Durante meses estuve a cargo de la recolección del dinero para alquilar el lugar, decoración, mandar hacer las franelas, los bolsos, contratar recreadores, cosas para las rifas y cualquier otra cosa necesaria para llevar a cabo esta actividad.

Las piscinas estaban geniales; había para los más pequeños y también para los adultos. Los niños fueron los que más disfrutaron; no se querían salir, apenas si se salían un rato cuando los recreadores hacian las dinámicas de juegos y rifas.

Cada representante llevó 100 pasapalos, entre salados y dulces; había de todas clases, además de bebidas, así que comida no faltó y algunos representantes llevaron algunas bebidas para adultos.

Todos disfrutamos mucho. En esta oportunidad les muestro las fotos y luego en otra publicación les muestro algunos videos, ya que en un solo video sería muy largo y luego es un proceso para que Threespeak me lo cargue.

Ámbar's Promotion Party | Part 1

Greetings and blessings, my lovely people at @motherhood. I wish you all much joy. May your days be as beautiful and fun as this great celebration we held for our children who were promoted to first grade.

Yes, it has been several months since this special event for my princess Amber; I have many more like this to share, but the day has come for this content to see the light of day on my blog, and I am excited to share it with you.

I invite you to watch the video, which is made up of all the images I was able to capture that day. Although there are more than 100, I still feel like I didn't get enough, hehehe.

As I was the main organiser of the party, I was running around attending to the children, the guests of honour and their representatives, some of whom helped me with this task.

The truth is that it was a very special celebration. I had already told you here on my blog that I was preparing for the graduation of my princess Amber and her classmates.

For months, I was in charge of collecting money to rent the venue, decorations, ordering T-shirts and bags, hiring entertainers, raffle prizes, and anything else necessary to carry out this activity.

The pools were great; there were pools for the little ones and also for the adults. The children enjoyed them the most; they didn't want to leave, only coming out for a while when the entertainers did the games and raffles.

Each parent brought 100 snacks, both savoury and sweet; there was a wide variety, as well as drinks, so there was no shortage of food, and some parents brought drinks for the adults.

We all had a great time. Here are the photos, and in another post I'll show you some videos, as a single video would be too long and it's a process for Threespeak to upload it for me.

Cierre pedagógico del primer momento escolar

Hola, mi gente bonita de @motherhood, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien. Paso por acá para contarles sobre las experiencias como padres con nuestras princesas. Como padres, siempre estamos enfocados en acompañar a nuestras hijas en todas las actividades que se les presentan en la vida, en este caso sobre las actividades escolares.

En esta oportunidad se estaba realizando en la escuela el cierre pedagógico del primer momento; simultáneamente se estaban presentando los proyectos de todos los grados, tanto de preescolar como primaria y de media técnica.

Primero fuimos al área donde se estaban presentando los proyectos de preescolar y primero y segundo grado. Aquí estuvimos viendo las diferentes exposiciones de cada uno de los grados; se veían encantadores tan chiquititos, y cómo defendían su tema como todos unos profesionales.

Hubo una niña de cinco años que expuso como unas 10 páginas de contenido; todos nos quedamos boquiabiertos, porque expuso tan bien a pesar de que estaba entre llantos y lágrimas, pero así mismo ella quería exponer, pues se sabía todo de verdad, que lo hizo genial.

En el salón de Ámbar le tocó exponer a su mejor amiga; expuso sobre las fresas y su exposición estuvo genial; por ahí la podrán escuchar y ver en el vídeo. Ellos estuvieron exponiendo las diferentes actividades que estuvieron realizando, claro, con la ayuda de los padres.

Ámbar estaba un poco inquieta porque estábamos en el área del preescolar, donde hay partes que disfrutó cuando estaba en esa etapa, como lo es el parque, pero que ahora no podía utilizar porque ya está en primaria y son niños más grandes.

Una vez que terminaron todas las exposiciones de preescolar, primero y segundo grado, que fueron de diferentes temas; uno, por cierto, era sobre las arepas, se veían más ricas. La exposición la hizo el grupo ganador de una competencia de arepas con rellenos internacionales que habían hecho días antes, en donde ganaron las arepas con relleno al estilo de Brasil.

Luego nos fuimos al área donde estaban exponiendo los alumnos de los demás grados de primaria y media técnica. En esta área también había trabajos maravillosos. Cada una tenía su toque especial con mucha creatividad y trabajo. Cuando fuimos los del salón de Arianna que son del área de Telemática, ya habían expuesto.

Pero sí estuvimos viendo otras exposiciones, así como los trabajos presentados. En las láminas de los trabajos vimos tipos de letras, acabados, materiales, para así tener ideas para próximas actividades que les asignen a mis princesas en cada uno de sus grados.

End of the first term at school

Hello, my lovely people at @motherhood, I hope you are all doing well. I'm here to tell you about our experiences as parents with our princesses. As parents, we are always focused on supporting our daughters in all the activities that come their way in life, in this case school activities.

On this occasion, the school was holding the educational closing ceremony for the first term; at the same time, projects from all grades, including preschool, primary and technical secondary, were being presented.

First, we went to the area where the preschool and first and second grade projects were being presented. Here we saw the different presentations from each of the grades; they looked so cute, and they defended their topics like true professionals.

There was a five-year-old girl who presented about 10 pages of content. We were all amazed because she presented so well, even though she was crying and tearful, but she wanted to present because she really knew everything, and she did a great job.

In Amber's class, it was her best friend's turn to present; she presented on strawberries and her presentation was great; you can hear and see her in the video. They were presenting the different activities they had been doing, of course, with the help of their parents.

Amber was a little restless because we were in the preschool area, where there are parts she enjoyed when she was at that stage, such as the playground, but now she couldn't use it because she is in primary school and there are older children.

Once all the preschool, first and second grade exhibitions were finished, which were on different topics; one, incidentally, was about arepas, they looked delicious. The exhibition was put on by the winning group of an arepa competition with international fillings that they had made days before, where the Brazilian-style filled arepas won.

Then we went to the area where the students from the other primary and technical secondary grades were exhibiting. There were also wonderful projects in this area. Each one had its own special touch, with a lot of creativity and hard work. When we went to Arianna's classroom, which is in the Telematics area, they had already exhibited.

But we did see other exhibitions, as well as the works presented. In the sheets of the works, we saw different fonts, finishes, and materials, so that we could get ideas for future activities to assign to my princesses in each of their grades.

Celebrando mi cumpleaños

Hola, mi gente linda de Hive y de la bonita comunidad de @Family-Friends, este es mi primer post de este año 2026, así que aprovecho para desearles un feliz, próspero y bendecido año 2026. Espero que sea de muchas alegrías, que todo lo que nos propongamos lo podamos lograr con éxito y que disfrutemos ese camino. El día de hoy nuestro país se despertó muy movido con las últimas noticias que están aconteciendo. Muy lamentables las formas, pero mejor no hacer muchos comentarios. Demos gracias a Dios por todos los que hoy vimos la luz del día y que nuestro país salga adelante, que no haya derramamiento de sangre, pero sí que podamos liberarnos de las personas que no hacen el bien.

Por otro lado, hoy vine a compartirles cómo estuve celebrando mi cumpleaños número 42 con mi bonita familia; por aquí les comparto algunas fotos y videos de este día muy especial para mí.

En este día estuve realizándome ese pantalón que me ven puesto; fue todo un desafío que luego les estaré compartiendo más de esta experiencia, pero que a pesar de todo me quedó bien y fue mi autorregalo. Mis princesas Arianna y Ámbar también estuvieron luciendo unas camisas que le estuve realizando muy lindas.

Mi jefa llegó por la noche y me trajo un rico brazo gitano de chocolate delicioso y le agradecí con alegría este bonito gesto de venir hasta mi casa con este dulce obsequio.

Antes de salir del apartamento nos tomamos algunas fotos y salimos rápido para la casa de mi mamá, donde se haría la pequeña celebración.

Allá me esperaban con la torta que hizo mi hermano, pero que yo debía decorar. Como era muy tarde, ya había preparado en el apartamento una rica crema de chocolate con la que la decoré rápidamente sin muchas otras decoraciones; sin embargo, se veía bien y sobre todo estaba deliciosa.

Mi mamá estuvo preparando un rico arroz con pollo para repartir a los presentes; como siempre mi mamá, tan detallista, algo rico prepara para este tipo de celebraciones. Aunque fue algo sencillo, mi princesa Orismar infló algunos globos que estaban muy lindos. Como ven, no hubo tantas decoraciones, pero sí mucho amor y algunos detalles que me regalaron muy lindos, los cuales agradezco y me da mucha alegría. Espero que cada uno de sus detalles, así como los miles de mensajes que me mandaron con muchas bendiciones, Dios lo replique en sus vidas.

Esta vez sí me tomé muchas fotos con todos los que me acompañaron porque a veces la gente está apática para las fotos, pero ellos saben que a mí me encantan y todos posaron para la cámara con una sonrisa y así guardar estos bonitos recuerdos para la posteridad.

Compartir en familia es lo más bonito que hay, y esa vez estaba mucho más feliz porque mi princesa Orismar también nos acompañó a celebrar estas Navidades y mi cumpleaños. También disfrutamos bailando algunas canciones; a mí me encantan, sobre todo para bailar; me fascina el merengue y, por supuesto que bailé muchísimo, mis hijas y mi sobrina también estaban bailando, jugando y disfrutando de toda la compañía que en este día podemos aprovechar de compartir en familia y con amistades.

Doy gracias a Dios por un año más y porque este cargado de mucho conocimiento, prácticas, éxitos, sobre todo mucha salud y que no nos falte el dinero para todo lo que queremos hacer para el bienestar de la familia y de los que me rodean.

Gracias amigos por ver mi publicación y de antemano agradezco sus bonitos deseos, que Dios se los multiplique.

Celebrating my birthday

Hello, my lovely people at Hive and the beautiful community of @Family-Friends, this is my first post of 2026, so I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy, prosperous and blessed 2026. I hope it will be a year full of joy, that we will successfully achieve everything we set out to do, and that we will enjoy the journey. Today, our country woke up to some very turbulent news. The circumstances are very unfortunate, but it is best not to comment too much. Let us thank God that we all saw the light of day today and that our country is moving forward, that there is no bloodshed, but that we can free ourselves from people who do not do good.

On the other hand, today I came to share with you how I celebrated my 42nd birthday with my beautiful family; here I share some photos and videos of this very special day for me.

On this day, I was making the trousers you see me wearing; it was quite a challenge, which I will share more about later, but despite everything, they fit me well and were my gift to myself. My princesses Arianna and Ámbar were also wearing some very pretty shirts that I made for them.

My boss arrived in the evening and brought me a delicious chocolate Swiss roll, and I thanked her with joy for this nice gesture of coming to my house with this sweet gift.

Before leaving the flat, we took some photos and quickly left for my mother's house, where the small celebration would take place.

There, they were waiting for me with the cake my brother had made, but which I had to decorate. As it was very late, I had already prepared a delicious chocolate cream in the flat, which I used to decorate it quickly without many other decorations; however, it looked good and, above all, it was delicious.

My mother prepared a delicious rice and chicken dish to share with everyone present. As always, my mother, who is so thoughtful, prepares something delicious for these types of celebrations. Although it was a simple celebration, my princess Orismar blew up some balloons that were very pretty. As you can see, there weren't many decorations, but there was a lot of love and some very nice gifts, for which I am grateful and very happy. I hope that each of your thoughtful gestures, as well as the thousands of messages you sent me with many blessings, will be replicated in your lives by God.

This time I did take many photos with everyone who accompanied me because sometimes people are apathetic about photos, but they know that I love them and they all posed for the camera with a smile so that we could keep these beautiful memories for posterity.

Sharing with family is the most beautiful thing there is, and this time I was even happier because my princess Orismar also joined us to celebrate Christmas and my birthday. We also enjoyed dancing to some songs; I love them, especially for dancing; I am fascinated by merengue and, of course, I danced a lot. My daughters and my niece were also dancing, playing and enjoying all the company that we can take advantage of on this day to share with family and friends.

I thank God for another year and for one that is full of knowledge, experiences, successes, and above all, good health. May we never lack the money for everything we want to do for the well-being of our family and those around us.

Saludos y bendiciones, mi gente bonita de @familyfriends, un gusto saludarlos. Espero que estén disfrutando de esta época navideña en donde compartir con familiares y amigos se pone de manifiesto con más frecuencia.

En esta oportunidad les muestro cómo estuvimos celebrando, cómo terminamos un año de trabajo y es hora de compartir entre amigos y compañeros de trabajo una noche especial.

Todos nos fuimos muy lindos para esta celebración navideña, en donde nos dieron nuestra cena bien rica, que por cierto la hizo una compañera de trabajo. También la torta de chocolate está genial y muy linda; la hizo una compañera de la oficina.

Todos los de Talento Humano estábamos ubicados en un mesón grande; somos la gerencia con más personal, nos divertimos un montón. Bailamos, comimos y gozamos un mundo con los concursos que hicieron, en donde dieron varios premios.

La jefa nos dio a todos un pequeño, pero significativo presente, y cada uno de la oficina posó para las fotos que hoy les comparto.

Fue una noche muy alegre en donde también inauguraron una pequeña redoma con el nombre de la institución, que quedó muy linda y donde nos tomamos algunas fotos.

Bueno, amigos, esto ha sido todo por hoy; en el video hay unas tomas que les harán reír demás. Gracias por su visita.

Christmas party at work

Greetings and blessings, my lovely people at @familyfriends, it's a pleasure to say hello. I hope you are enjoying this Christmas season, when spending time with family and friends becomes more frequent.

On this occasion, I'll show you how we celebrated, how we ended a year of work, and how it's time to share a special evening with friends and colleagues.

We all dressed up for this Christmas celebration, where we were treated to a delicious dinner, which, by the way, was made by a colleague. The chocolate cake was also great and very pretty; it was made by a colleague from the office.

All of us from Human Resources were seated at a large table; we are the department with the most staff, and we had a lot of fun. We danced, ate, and had a great time with the contests they organised, where they gave out several prizes.

The boss gave us all a small but meaningful gift, and everyone in the office posed for the photos that I am sharing with you today.

It was a very joyful evening where they also unveiled a small jar with the name of the institution, which was very pretty and where we took some photos.

Fiesta navideña de Ámbar

Saludos y bendiciones, mi gente linda de @motherhood, un gusto visitarlos en este día. Hoy paso por aquí para compartirles estas fotografías de mi princesa Ámbar junto a sus amigos y compañeros de clases de primer grado.

Mi princesa estaba bien linda, aunque le pedí que se pusiera un vestido no quiso por nada del mundo y ella misma escogio su outfit, algo que me contento fue que se estrenó un suéter manga larga que le trajo la madrina de España y como no le gusta las camisas de ese estilo no se la quería poner, asi que gracias a Dios se decidió y lo mejor fue que le gusto, hasta se la quería volver a poner en la tarde que íbamos a un cumpleaños. La verdad que eso es una novedad, por eso les echo el cuento, jejeje.

Al llegar al salón ya estaban casi todos los compañeros de clases y aproveche de tomar algunas fotos. La decoración estaba muy linda, totalmente modo Navidad.

Una torta muy linda y muchos regalos para los niños. Todo el set estaba genial para tomar unas bellas fotos junto a sus maestras que con mucho cariño se esmeraron para que todo saliera de lo mejor.

Todos los niños, estaban muy lindos y por supuesto la maestra tomó muchas fotos para enviarnos las a los representantes y poder compartirlas en sus redes sociales, por eso las comparto por aquí, ya que las mamás les encantan que compartamos las fotos. A pesar de lo que dicen sobre la privacidad de las fotos de los niños, siempre terminamos compartiendo por todos lados cada paso que dan y así inmortalizar esos momentos especiales como estos.

Mi princesa tiene una amiguita favorita y siempre quiere que le tomen fotos juntas, se quieren demas, ojalá su amistad perdure en el tiempo y sigan cosechando momentos inolvidables como estos en su etapa escolar.

Como eran muchas fotos, se las comparto en video, para que vean lo lindos que estaban y sobre todo felices por su fiesta de navidad y el inicio de estas pequeñas vacaciones decembrinas.

Amber's Christmas Party

Greetings and blessings, my lovely people at @motherhood, it's a pleasure to visit you today. I'm stopping by to share these photos of my princess Amber with her friends and classmates from first grade.

My princess looked so pretty, although I asked her to wear a dress, she refused and chose her own outfit. I was happy that she wore a long-sleeved jumper that her godmother brought her from Spain for the first time. She doesn't like shirts of that style, so she didn't want to wear it, so thank God she decided to wear it, and the best part was that she liked it. She even wanted to wear it again in the afternoon when we went to a birthday party. That's really something new, which is why I'm telling you about it, hehehe.

When we arrived at the hall, almost all of his classmates were already there, so I took the opportunity to take some photos. The decorations were very pretty, totally Christmas-themed.

There was a very nice cake and lots of presents for the children. The whole setting was great for taking some beautiful photos with his teachers, who had lovingly gone to great lengths to make sure everything turned out perfectly.

All the children looked very cute, and of course, the teacher took lots of photos to send to us parents and share on social media, which is why I'm sharing them here, as mums love us to share photos. Despite what they say about the privacy of children's photos, we always end up sharing every step they take everywhere, immortalising special moments like these.

My princess has a favourite friend and always wants to have her photo taken with her. They love each other very much. I hope their friendship lasts and they continue to have unforgettable moments like these during their school years.

Los 6 años de mi princesa Ámbar

Hola, mi gente bonita de @motherhood, espero tengan un día lleno de bendiciones y alegrías en sus hogares. Hoy paso por aquí para compartirles cómo estuvimos celebrando el cumpleaños de mi bella princesa Ámbar; estuvo cumpliendo 6 años el pasado 24 de noviembre; ese mismo día le festejamos en compañía de familiares y amigos su día especial.

Ella estaba deseosa de que este día llegara, tanto así que empezó la cuenta regresiva 3 meses antes; cada día preguntaba cuántos días faltan para mi cumpleaños y, cuando fue el de su hermana en agosto, ya quería que se celebrara el de ella.

Poco a poco la fuimos llevando a que tenía que esperar a que el gran día llegara. Aunque ya sabíamos que no sería una fiesta a todo dar como quisiéramos, lo que sí sabíamos era que sus 6 años no pasarían por debajo de la mesa.

Ella, tan comprensiva, me decía: "Mami, algo sencillo para que no gastes tanto. Yo le dije que si de motivo de la fiesta podíamos colocar lazos y además poner las decoraciones navideñas y me dijo que sí, recalcando que no trabajará tanto, ni gastará mucho en decoraciones como en otras ocasiones, ya que me toca ser la repostera, decoradora, costurera y pare de contar para esta celebración.

Gracias a Dios, Arístides me apoya en todo lo que puede y de verdad que sí ayuda mucho, pero las desveladas me tocan a mí, jejeje. Esta vez fue haciendo los outfits de mis dos princesas, que le quedaron preciosos, por cierto.

Aunque Ámbar no estaba de muchos ánimos para las fotos, ya que pasaba el tiempo y los invitados nada que llegaban, jejeje.

Para esta celebración, la mayoría eran de la familia y unas vecinas amigas. Con todos les tomé fotos, no tanto como quisiera, una porque andaba atendiendo a los invitados y otra porque Ámbar andaba jugando con sus pequeños invitados.

Mi princesa disfrutó su celebración y nos quedan bonitos recuerdos de aquel día, en el que ella fue la protagonista de esta historia; la llenaron de amor y de detalles que agradezco con el alma, porque hicieron sentir especial a mi reinita bella.

Dios bendiga el gran corazón de mi princesa, su astucia y sabiduría a pesar de su corta edad; para ella solo deseo que siempre sea feliz y logre todos sus propósitos en salud y bienestar. Te amo, hija bella, somos felices de verte sonreír y ese brillo en tu mirada.

My princess Amber's 6th birthday

Hello, my lovely people at @motherhood. I hope you are having a day full of blessings and joy in your homes. Today, I am here to share with you how we celebrated my beautiful princess Amber's birthday. She turned 6 on 24 November, and we celebrated her special day with family and friends.

She was so excited for this day to arrive that she started the countdown three months early. Every day she asked how many days were left until her birthday, and when it was her sister's birthday in August, she already wanted hers to be celebrated.

Little by little, we got her to understand that she had to wait for the big day to arrive. Although we knew it wouldn't be the big party we wanted, we did know that her 6th birthday wouldn't go unnoticed.

She was so understanding and said to me, "Mummy, let's keep it simple so you don't have to spend so much." I asked her if we could put up bows and Christmas decorations for the party, and she said yes, emphasising that she wouldn't work as hard or spend as much on decorations as on other occasions, as I would be the baker, decorator, seamstress and so on for this celebration.

Thank God, Aristides supports me in every way he can, and he really does help a lot, but the sleepless nights are up to me, hehehe. This time, it was making the outfits for my two princesses, which looked beautiful on them, by the way.

Although Ámbar wasn't in the mood for photos, as time was passing and the guests weren't arriving, hehehe.

For this celebration, most of the guests were family and some neighbours who are friends. I took photos of everyone, not as many as I would have liked, partly because I was busy attending to the guests and partly because Ámbar was playing with her little guests.
