I’m excited to share my entry for this week’s music competition. For my submission, I chose to do a cover of walking after mid-night by Patsy Cline. I chose this song as it is one of many songs I grew up listening to. I remember singing this song as a teenager with my mom as we were cleaning the house. I’m excited to share my entry for this week’s music competition. For my submission, I chose to do a cover of You're still the one by Shania Twain. This song reminds me that every relationship has its ups and downs and that you have to work together to make it work and last, no matter what other people say.

Music has a magical way of connecting us, and a way to remind us that you have to work together to make things last. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Today, I’ll be singing Hallelujah by Lucy Thomas. This song holds a very special place in my heart, as it was one of my grandma’s favorites. Whenever I would visit her, I’d sing it to her, and it became a cherished tradition. It brings back beautiful memories of those moments we shared before she passed away.

To me, this song is a reminder that God has a plan for each of us and that, no matter the challenges we face, He only gives us what we are able to handle. It’s a message of hope and strength that resonates deeply, and I’m honored to share it with you all today.

Presenting “Holes in the Floor of Heaven” this week seems like such a deeply personal and meaningful choice, especially in the wake of my aunt’s passing. The song's theme of enduring love and the idea that our loved ones are still with us in spirit is so fitting for moments of grief and remembrance.

It might bring both tears and comfort, which is totally natural. Sometimes, the act of singing or sharing something with such emotional weight can be both cathartic and healing.
