It’s been a while since I last participated in the Vibes Web3 Music Competition, but I’m excited to return for Week 34 with this heartfelt song. “Idinma” is one of my favorites among Judikay’s songs. It deeply resonates with me.

What inspired me to choose this song is not only its gospel message, but also Judikay’s admirable personality. I truly appreciate her passion for the gospel, and her dedication has drawn me to love many of her songs. Of course, her beautiful voice is an added inspiration.

Because of the love I have for the singer and his pattern of music I was eagerly waiting for this track to be released, and when it was finally out, I had to listen to it thoroughly in order to get the lyrics. By the time I was able to understand the lyrics I liked it the most because it describes how God always comes through for me at all times. How he alway answers my prayers in times of trouble. It made me realize God’s love for me.

I am happy to present this song because the song is like a ministration or should I say a direct message to me lately. I feel relieved and happy when I sing the song. The song is simply describing God’s love for us. For the love he has for us he will not forsake us in times of trouble and he will also wipe away our tears when we are depressed and in tears. I believe many people out there might be feeling the same and I also believe that anyone in that situation that sees this will be consoled by my little presentation.

I am also inspired by the author’s personality. He is someone who is passionate about the things of the lord and also his calling. He remained focused in his ministry as a gospel singer and whenever he is called upon or invited for a church program he always show up. For me is a commitment and dedication to the services for the progress of the kingdom and I admire that a lot and I also aspire to be like that.

He sings so well even for the fact that he’s struggle to go high pitch sometimes and I believe that he attain such level of success due to his commitment and dedication. Just like the song is talking about grateful, let me start by extending my gratitude to the vibes community and all my friends in the hive community who made my journey here seamless and easy. It wasn’t easy trying to strike a balance between the social world and the physical daily activities but God have been faithful so I returned all glory to him.
Now, the song grateful is one of the songs that really captivate my heart a lot. Normally I use to like his songs because I found most of his songs communicating vital messages or possibly a prayer just like this one. But the weight of love I have for this one is immeasurable and that is because it is more than just a song. This old song inspired me alot and it reminded me of the unending love my mother showed to me as a child and even till now. I could vividly remember an incidents that happened one day when I was very young. That very day I wasn't feeling fine so I could not eat anything and even the little I struggled to swallow in I ended up vomiting them. Suddenly very late at night that day I felt the urge to take pap, and when I told my mum that night she had to go out waking up neighbours to request for pap because we don't have it at home at that period of time. She searched and didn't give up even though was already late until she was able to get it and processed it for me to take that night. I felt sorry for her because I couldn't resist the urge, neither did she give on me. That was when I knew that my mum can go to any lengths to ensure my safety and wellbeing.

I am so much inspired by the selfless love of my mother and I deem it fit to do a cover of this song for her and my vibes family and friends. I really hope you enjoyed my entry like i did enjoyed the original song.

Flavour happens to be one of my favourite singers. I love most of his songs, and that is because the wordings of his songs are often communicating vital information to humanity and as such I'm always inspired by his songs.

I'm inspired by this particular song "Chinny Baby" because he expresses his heart felt plea to his woman who he loves and misses much. This is him expressing his feelings in words which I believe as a woman it have a way of calming our nerves even when angered. I love his way of expressing his love, which shows that he understands women and if all men will do the same then the world will be a peaceful place for us all🤗.

Another reason for doing this cover is the fact that the song was sang calmly and peaceful. No much complicated instruments and that makes everything just cool and sweet to the human hearing.
Also, the pattern of music he adopts is something to talk about also. Personally I prefer slow music to the fast ones which is the likes of makosa and high life music. I always like it simple and calm and that was exactly what he displayed and that gladens my heart and make me love the song the more.

Varieties of songs were presented by the crew in the concert by the crew, who dressed in uniform that made them appeard like high school students. But this particular part of the song captures my mind and I decided to do a cover of it.
Actually one of the reasons I love this part of the song is because of the beat (instrumentals). I can't stop shaking my head and body any time that part of the song is played.
Also, the combination of different songs to the beat at that particular time is amazing. So that really captured my attention.
I must say the entire crew did perform excellently and I really enjoyed watching the presentation online even though I was not present there at that moment.

Well, one of the things that inspires me was that; The song is meaningful. At first when I got to know the meaning of the title alone, I was eager to know what the rest of the words in the lyrics mean because I am not yoruba. Just when I got to know, I fell in love with the song that I had to listen to it more often. It gives me indept understanding about the passage of the Bible that quotes "I am the light of the world". And this helps strengthen my faith in christ having known that he is the light, and when he came darkness disappears.

Also, one of the reasons that pushed me to do the cover of the song is the fact that the instrumentals align with the voicing which produces a sweet melody to the human hearing. I can listen to the song over and over again without getting tired. I must say that the sound producer did a great job there. It's amazing.

Having enjoyed the original song I decided to do the cover, putting in my best to ensure that you enjoy it too. And I strongly believe that you are not disappointed and even Dunsin Oyekan will be proud of me (smile).

One of the reasons I’m inspired by this song to the point of doing a cover for it was the fact that the song speaks about the sovereignty of God. The song reminded me about an incidence that happened years ago while I was in form 3. I fell sick the during my exams period. Unfortunately for me, the day before my last exams the sickness becomes tensed that I could not study and prepare well for my last paper. Because I didn’t study as expected, I was confused on what the outcome could be. Just then I had put my hope and faith in God, because I believe that he alone can do what no man can do.

I did the best I could do in the examinations, and when the result finally came out I was amazed at my score. I didn’t expect even a ‘C’ but grateful enough I got a ‘B’ It was a joyful moment that strengthen my faith in God because for me it was a miracle.

Also, Another reason I'm inspired by the song was the fact that the vocal, lyrics and instrumentals are well coordinated which gives an amazing sound and melody sweet to human hearing. Also proceeding to the official video I must say the visual demonstration of the song is well displayed and portrayed meaningful expressions to the viewers.

The meaning behind the lyrics of this song is suburb and it reminded me of God’s constant love and reliability over time. Anytime I listen to this song I am inspired to thank God and praise him the more for all he has done for me. And all thanks to the music communities such as @Afri-tunes for giving us the liberty and opportunity to extend such inspirations everyone.

Aside from the awesome lyrics, I must say that the singer did an amazing job when it comes to the instrumentals (Beat). any time I hear this song playing, be it in the marketplace, I won’t stop shaking my head because of how sweet the music beat is. I am your girl @Katezauka. In line with the Hive open mic theme of the week, I will be doing a cover of the song "Step by step" which happens to be a babtism song by Angie Killian.

First and foremost I would like to say a big shout out to the Hive open mic community for coming up with the amazing topic "Step by step". Personally I feel this topic alone is a message to begin the year 2025 with. When I saw the topic at first I wasn't sure of what it entails, not until I started making research on the topic to get depth knowledge and understanding of the whole thing and I discovered that it's a lot I needed to uphold to help me run the year smoothly.

Also, this song made me understand that in my journey of life this year, my God will lead me step by step. It's a new year and I'm inspired to do a cover of this song titled Now (The time is now), which is also talking about the new beginning which the lord will set in the life of anyone who come to him and also accepted him.

This song is indeed a blessing to my soul this year that is why I choose to share with my amazing family here at Vibes community. It reminded me of how my 2024 started. Every starting of the new year we tends to make resolutions, but only few people can stick to their individual resolutions. Many tends to make promises they can not even keep. And that is because most times we are carried away by the joy of the new beginning that we do not properly retreat and resolve within ourselves before making those resolutions.

This is me acknowledging God's goodness and mercy over my life once again. The current economic condition of the country is biting so hard that sometimes I will be totally lost on what to do, but then my God will come to my rescue by giving me an idea on the next step to take. He has always been on my side in challenging times that's why I deem it fit to express that in this week's presentation.

One of the funny challenge I encountered this week which I would like to share was on Monday when I went to work. I used to take transport to and fro N1000 on a daily bases. So I budgeted N5000 for the week but unfortunately for me I took out my daily 1k for transport which I ended up spending it on transport for just going to work because the road was choked with people and there are no much vehicles on the road due to scarcity of fuel.

When I got to work, all hopes was on God. I was just thinking on how I am going to transport my self back home.
Fortunately for me, because God is always on my side; One of my colleague came to me and said he will be going through my area to visit a friend after close of work, so I should try and round up by 5pm so that he can give me a lift. Immediately I heard that from him begin to thank God for coming through for me once again
