A few days ago, we had a wonderful experience outside the city. Some good friends had invited us to their home on the Venezuelan coast, specifically in Puerto Cabello, where we could enjoy the Caribbean Sea and crystal-clear waters on a small island very close to the coast called Isla Larga.

The tropical heat with fine white sand, combined with the Caribbean water, makes for a great atmosphere to enjoy holidays with family and friends. Nearby are the remains of a ship dating back to the Second World War, a fragment of history that has become part of the landscape and a tourist attraction for everyone.

The day ended with a walk along the seafront promenade, a place rich in history and culture. It is always nice to see how much this place means to Venezuelans and to learn as a family the stories that make us who we are.

I am certainly very grateful for this invitation from our dear friends in Puerto Cabello. It is undoubtedly a moment that we will remember and cherish for a long time, and perhaps it will become a recurring trip, at least during the holiday season.

Hace ya algunos días vivimos una muy linda experiencia fuera de la ciudad, desde hace tiempo unos buenos amigos nos han invitado a su hogar en la costas venezolanas, específicamente en Puerto Cabello, en donde podemos disfrutar del mar Caribe y aguas cristalinas en una pequeña isla muy cerca de la costa llamada Isla Larga.

El calor tropical con arena blanca y fina, sumada con el agua caribeña hace un muy bien ambiente para disfrutar las vacaciones en familia y con amigos. Muy cerca se encuentran los restos de un barco que data de la segunda guerra mundial, un fragmento de la historia que se ha convertido en parte del paisaje y atracción turística para todos.

El día terminó con un paseo por el malecón, un lugar rico en historia y cultura, siempre es agradable ver todo lo que significa este lugar para los venezolanos y que podamos aprender en familia aquellas historias que nos hace ser lo que somos.

Ciertamente he agradecido mucho esta invitación que nos han hecho nuestros queridos amigos en Puerto Cabello, sin dudas es un momento que recordaremos y que apreciaremos por mucho tiempo, en donde quizás sea un viaje recurrente al menos en temporadas vacacionales.
