One of the most anticipated times on Splinterlands is the end of the season, and this is because it's a time when players get actively and passively rewarded for their time, effort, and investment.

Anytime when players are rewarded is an anticipated period, especially because it's filled with mixed feelings: expectations, excitement, and vigor. We talked about the expectations of all kinds of players/investors every end of the season.

We analyze the type of reward they might find favorable, being that they are already established investors in the splinterlands' ecosystem.

We compared the expectations of established investors with players like us who are still builders and this led us to talk about the type of reward that we deem to be "very good" in a season's chest.

In this video, we talked about the potential of soulbound cards in building solid decks and summoners and the potential value of these cards if they're no longer soulbound.

We talked about why changes such as these are meant to revamp the economy and keep the money inside the system. However, we talked about why some of these changes might affect the strategies of players who are not flexible enough (because of lack of cash).

The wild and modern format of the Splinterlands gaming system now requires adequate intentionality and planning and this is why we took the opportunity to discuss some of these strategies to survive, the best decisions to make in the long run and so many other things.

Money is not always the solution, but in play2earn blockchain games, the bear market is always a time for changes and revampings. @josediccus talked about how he had to leave the format for good and @joetunex talked about how to play in both of the formats for maximum rewards.

In this podcast, we decided to analyze our journeys and talk about how life becomes incredibly hectic while attempting to build some of the most important goals and aspirations in our lives.

We talked about the beautiful impact of crypto in our lives. The exposure, the options, and the mind-blowing opportunities it offered us and how it's been the reason why we can even dream of building beyond the present stage and conditioning that we find ourselves in.

We mostly gave some important updates on our lives and why we've taken time off. We talked about how integral this space has been for us and how incredible it has pushed us.

We also analyzed our goals to achieve a diversity that might help us vest into the ecosystem since it has been important to most of the accomplishments that we're proud of in real-time.

We decided to talk about this because we believe that people exist differently. Some people live in the present, aligning their lives to only cater for the moment.

Some other people cannot categorically say where they're likely to be. So the question we raised is a bit tricky because we had to think differently, analyze or weigh our situations before we can be able to project our goals for the next five years. Most of the goals are fiance-based.

We took the time to analyze our financial perspective on the type of people we are and how this influences our Intentionality towards the future we aim to build and achieve.

In the video, it was a practical process of brainstorming on a live session and how we eventually took time to understand that building or planning for where we want to be in the next five years, might not be an easy thing after all.

The reason why we decided to talk about this is to highlight some underrated projects that haven't been noticed or seen a lot of attention. Projects on hive are what create usability and retention as well as utility and value.

@joetunex talked about Liketu as well as the prospect of GLX +even if the game project hasn't launched yet) as one decent project that stands out for him in terms of usability and traction. However, we both went on to talk about projects with very decent tokenomics.

@josediccus talked about several token projects without much emphasis on the BRO token, LGN, hashking, and DEDGHE as well. Josediccus talked about the exciting prospects of the BRO ecosystem and why it's the on-chain project that everyone should be looking to buy into, in preparations for the bull market.

We also talked about Psyberx and relayed our thoughts on how the game hasn't lived up to expectations.

We looked at the tokenomics of the two applications and it varies. We consider Splinterlands to be the number one application on Hive that's done more in terms of adoption, more than any application, and we talked about how it has utilized gaming as a seamless channel from Web2 to web3 as well as an adoption outlet, and exposure for the Hive Blockchain.

We also talked about its massive success, especially during the bull market, and how it seems to have retained a high percentage of this success, over time.

We looked at Leofinance, and how its exciting model has fostered further usability and created a platform for continuity, retention; social and sophisticated transition from Web2 to web3 as well. While the level of adoption brought by splinterlands is still unmatchable from any application, we still talked about the framework of Leofinance, its exciting tokenomics, and the utilization of ads to generate further income.

We feel that these two apps are unique in their own ways and can only grow from strength to strength.

@joetunex talked about his arrangements with a car dealership for a popular business back in South Africa and how the arrangements nearly ruined him.

@josediccus talked about the flexibilities of the credit system in Nigeria and how it's run and determined by private lenders in the country.

Apparently, a lot of Nigerians try to stay away from debt because of its financial repercussions and because of the terms and conditions that surround it. However, we both agreed that it is perceived to be negative but this isn't true, it is only so when it's uncalculated and bad.

We talked about the different irresponsible reasons why people choose to put themselves in debt and why it's important to understand one's financial background, antecedents, or experience before they can choose to be recipients of the money and be in debt.

This lead us to the focal point of the discussion, which was that digital assets are a betterment of physical assets and not a replacement.

We talked about the fact that digitization is majorly to fix the flaws of some of the systems we currently have. This made us believe that there are no questions of choice as to which is better but how to maximize the ownership of the two assets to build an incorrigible investment across real-time and online.

We talked about building wealth and how understanding the properties of these assets can actually one to maximize their potential for present and futuristic gains as well. We believe that innovations are to enrich people and not to leave people in a dilemma of choice.

We ended the discussion by agreeing that betterment is an opportunity of maximization and the opportunities presented by these assets are plenteous.

We first analyzed Fiat maximalism and made reference to people like Warren Buffett and why it seems to be difficult for them to come to terms with the idea that money is evolutionary as it has always been with time.

We came to an agreement that money is meant to change, get better, and be rid of its flaws by constantly changing. We believe that crypto is a betterment of fiat currency, while it's not to replace it, we believe it is only there to make it better. We also analyzed Bitcoin maximalism.

We feel that people who are only pumped up on only BTC do not really understand the intent of Crypto as Satoshi wanted it. We talked about how BTC creates a store of value and lags in other aspects of functionalities. We feel that diversity and liquidity is a property that crypto must possess, hence, the need for alternative coins and projects.

This is because politicians are becoming anti-crypto and they seem to be misrepresenting the people they should be representing. The stances of people like Joe Biden on crypto have raised concerns as to whether politicians should be pro-crypto as part of the prerequisite to be considered good candidates.

Of course, we know that Twitter is only a fragment and does not represent the voice of a lot of people. We considered and analyse the possibilities of people replicating the Twitter polls in reality and the possibility of further Crypto negativity from Biden should he win the 2024 election.

Of course, we're external observers and do not know how politics works in the US, but we raised this topic because we feel that there's a possibility that people might finally be seeing that crypto should finally have an impact in politics.

@Josediccus believed that a lot of people owned cards in excess and they might begin to sell these cards so that they can buy SPS. He made emphasis on the idea that there are people who owned cards for the sake of collection Power, but since collection Power is no longer the real deal, they might want to dump this in the market to buy SPS.

@joetunex argued that players would inevitably need cards to play the game and since almost every player needs one card or another, cards will always be in demand. He also pointed out that land expansion will suck up a lot of cards anyway and players will not want to dispose of their cards to buy SPS, rather they might choose an external source. At the end of the day.

We hoped the need to earn maximum rewards will not push some massive sale of cards even when it's a good thing to finally find a solid use case for SPS.

In the video, we talked about the need to revamp SPS and give it a solid use case. We clarified that players will still need Collection Power to scale the leagues but then, would need staked SPS to get the maximum reward for the league they're playing in.

During the session, we did an estimation for a regular Gold leaguer like @josediccus and we found out that he might be needing in the region of 1.3k$ to buy some SPS to add to the one he had to get maximum reward. We both agreed that this change didn't come really well since players are now going to compromise on building their deck and having enough collection Power to prioritize SPS.

We feel that the financial constraint is too conflicting and challenging, especially for small players who are aiming to build collection Power while aiming to also earn in the process.

In the video, we talked about the difference in sentiment between different players, especially because big SPS owners will be back on this change. We approached this from a collective point of view.

At the end of the session, we agreed that this change could have been integrated in compartments to allow players enough time to build their SPS stash, we're hoping we sparked a reasonable argument on this one.

The reason we talked about this is that this current bull market is making holders lose grasp of what matters the most. We analyze the possible behavior of people and why many people might never be prepared for the next bull run.

We talked about the psychological impact of the US' continuous clampdown and why this might mean that many people will spend all of their crypto before the next run. We individually talked about our different strategies for coping and how we intend to salvage what we have including plans to keep accumulating more crypto.

In the end, we implore people to hold on, the better days are inevitable, it's only a question of time. People are not used to time when it comes to crypto, but we concluded that everyone needs unique coping strategies.

We talked about how sophistication makes the impact of AI inevitable, especially in well-placed countries with the right technology. We then highlight AI and the internet and how it's threatening human interaction while providing the needed technology for job owners to actively reduce the cost of their workforce at the expense of people.

We talked about AI internet tools like chatGPT and also its influx into the web2 and web3 spaces like Hive. After carefully scrutinizing this influx, we came to a Conclusion that humanity might remain at an impasse towards AI and its technology because of the outrageous good it can do and the potential damage it can also cause.

There's been a huge disagreement on hive over the use of AI as a content tool. We feel that this same disagreement will span into real-world scenarios. We also highlighted the ideal perception of the potential AI situation in African countries.

We addressed the 50% inflation rate of the Leo token and how this has been mostly touted to be the reason why the price might seem stagnated even when the run happens.

We mostly do not know how true this inflation figure might negatively affect prices. We mostly talked about how this inflation should be checked and how the project handlers can do something about it. From an investment point of view, this might be a very big issue.

Every project is looking to scale and addressing concerns that might prevent this scalability issues is important. Investors are looking to put money into exciting prospects where the likelihood of profit is higher. @joetunex talked about providing a sort of sink mechanism that has been utilized severally on Splinterlands.

@josediccus suggested a burn mechanism and the need for Leo ads buybacks to kick in. Overall, we both suggested a swift mechanism to tackle this inflation rate and why this might return Leo back to the glory days.
