Mi nuevo kit de skincare Bioaqua de pulpa de arroz (Español/Ingles)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente para los amantes de los cuidados. Me complace mucho estar nuevamente por acá, sobre todo porque le vengo a compartir algo que me tiene muy feliz. Se trata nada más y nada menos que mi kit de skincare Bioaqua. Como lo he comentado en otras ocasiones, esta es una marca que recomiendo mucho, ya que he conseguido resultados maravillosos a la hora de cuidar la piel de mi cara.

La marca Bioaqua tiene muchas versiones de este kit, donde varía el principal ingrediente para favorecer la piel, esto es maravilloso porque permite explorar diferentes fórmulas hasta dar con la más amigable para la piel, pero mientras se encuentra la formula favorita, se disfruta de la diversidad, ya que todas sus fórmulas son realmente buenas.

Mi formula favorita es la de pulpa de arroz. Hace unos años atravesé una crisis con la piel de mi cara, probé muchas cosas, pero el serum de pulpa de arroz de Bioaqua le devolvió la salud a mi piel y la tranquilidad a mi mente. Así que cuando vi el kit completo con la fórmula de pulpa de arroz me emocione y de inmediato lo compre. En el video que les comparto podrán ver y escuchar las características de cada uno de los productos. Por acá simplemente les contare un poco de cada uno.

Lo Primero es el Limpiador de pulpa cruda de arroz. Esta es una deliciosa espuma que limpia y desintoxica la piel. Después del lavado, la piel queda limpia y cómoda para continuar con la rutina.

Continuamos con el Tónico de pulpa de arroz. Es hidratante, refresca e hidrata la piel, humecta y suaviza. En seguida añadiremos el sérum de ácido hialurónico de arroz. Este penetrando en la piel para nutrir y reparar. Le sigue la Loción de pulpa cruda de arroz, con tan solo un toque de agua puede nutrir la piel seca, hidratar, suavizar la piel. A continuación aplicaremos el contorno para ojos. Y por último disfrutaremos de la Crema facial de pulpa de arroz. Esta rica crema contiene ricos ingredientes de arroz y cuida suavemente la piel.

Estos son los productos que integran este kit. Realizar esta rutina de skincare, es para mí un ritual amoroso de autocuidado. Disfruto cada momento. Como también les comento durante el video, se recomienda esperar por lo menos tres minutos entre cada producto para que la piel pueda absorberlo y disfrutar plenamente de sus beneficios.

It is a pleasure and honor for me to be in this space, since my relationship with anime has been very nice and has grown since a few years ago. In my youth the series I watched was Candy Candy, a classic for girls of some generations ago. But in reality I had little interest in the world of anime nor the slightest awareness of all the cultural richness that keeps this incredible art.

Since about ten years ago that I've been with my dear @aly.squid we have been together exploring series and movies related to manga and anime. It's been a very interesting path that I've loved to travel. Although Aly already came with a background with anime, together we have watched yal series like Death Nore, Naruto, Strawberry Panic, kannazuki no miko, Jigoku Shōjo and some episodes of Dragon Ball Z. but one of our resolutions together is to watch the amazing One Piece series, we watched some episodes, but work and day to day disconnected us again, but we are convinced that we will watch it.

This is my first time in this community and I find it very special because I come to share with you a very nice experience I had building Monkey D. Luffy in legos. I love legos, I love the whole process because I really enjoy following instructions. But making this beautiful character has been really interesting.

It took me an hour to assemble these 480 pieces to get my figure. I started from head to toe, just as the manual indicated. I found these pieces fascinating because they have several assembly possibilities. I really enjoyed each of the steps, the only thing that caused me a little confusion was the small lock of hair that overhangs the character's face, but in a short time I understood how to put it correctly.

Monkey D. Luffy en lego. Una divertida experiencia (Ingles/Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente para los amantes del anime. Es todo un placer y honor para mí estar en este espacio, ya que mi relación con el anime ha sido muy linda y ha crecido desde hace pocos años para acá. En mi juventud la serie que vi fue la de Candy Candy, todo un clásico para las chicas de algunas generaciones atrás. Pero en realidad poco interés había tenido con el mundo del anime ni la mínima conciencia de toda la riqueza cultural que guarda este increíble arte.

Desde hace unos diez años que estoy con mi querida @aly.squid hemos estado juntas explorando serie y películas relacionadas la manga y al anime. Ha sido un camino muy interesante que me ha encantado transitar. Aunque Aly ya venía con una trayectoria con el anime, juntas hemos visto series yales como Death Nore, Naruto, Strawberry Panic, kannazuki no miko, Jigoku Shōjo y algunos episodios de Dragon Ball Z. pero uno de nuestros propósitos juntas es ver la increíble serie de One Piece, vimos algunos episodios, pero el trabajo y el día a día nos desconectó nuevamente, pero estamos convencidas de que la veremos.

Esta es mi primera vez en esta comunidad y me parece muy especial porque vengo a compartirles una experiencia muy linda que tuve armando a Monkey D. Luffy en legos. Adoro los legos, me encanta todo el proceso porque disfruto enormemente seguir instrucciones. Pero hacer este bello personaje ha sido realmente interesante.

Me tomo una hora ensamblar estas 480 piezas para obtener mi figura. Empecé de los pies a la cabeza, tal como lo indicaba el manual. Estas piezas me parecieron fascinantes porque tienen varias posibilidades de ensamblado. Realmente disfrute cada uno de los pasos, solo me genero un poco de confusión fue el pequeño mechón de cabello que sobre sale hacia la cara del personaje, pro en poco tiempo entendí como ponerlo correctamente.

Les dejo en el video todo el proceso de armado de este legendario personaje del anime. Y espero muy pronto estar de regreso por acá con otra experiencia de legos o tal vez contándoles sobre alguna de las serie y películas que me han marcado. Me despido por ahora dejándoles un gran abrazo.

This is a beautiful card, with a lot of power. But mainly what I wanted to represent is the scepter that appears in this card. Of course I could not represent it in any other way but through the beautiful art of origami. This has always been a passion of mine, and when I discovered the PRUNDA UNDERVESCH card in Splinterlands, I knew I had to create a figure inspired by this imposing flower scepter.

The process of creating this figure of 17 assembled pieces was a challenge, but the patience and precision that origami requires is something I enjoy enormously. to make it you will need 8 squares of paper such as the ones in the photo, plus a rectangle whose size will depend on how high you want to make the waist. Every fold and crease is an opportunity to give life to this beautiful piece of paper art. besides the paper, we will use a small cutter, cold silicone and a height stick.

Finally, when I finished the figure and looked at it with pride, I knew I had succeeded in capturing the essence of PRUNDA UNDERVESCH in all its glory. I now have a beautiful bookmark inspired by this Splinterlands card that reminds me of the beauty and magic we can create with our own hands.

Origami is not only an art form, but also a form of expression and creativity. Each figure we create has its own story and meaning, and I am happy to be able to share this creation process with all of you. Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive. Es un placer estar nuevamente en este maravilloso concurso Splinterlands Art Contest Week 332!. Y por supuesto en una de la bella comunidad que más me gusta para lo que es el trabajo hecho a mano DIYHub. El día de hoy vengo a mostrarle mi trabajo con la carta de Splinterlands PRUNDA UNDERVESCH. Esta es una carta bellísima, de mucho poder. Pero principalmente lo que he querido representar es el cetro que aparece en esta carta. Una bella y poderosa flor que sostiene el imponente personaje femenino.

Por supuesto no he podría representarlo de otra manera sino a través del hermoso arte del origami. Este siempre ha sido una pasión para mí, y cuando descubrí la carta de PRUNDA UNDERVESCH en Splinterlands, supe que tenía que crear una figura inspirada en este imponente cetro de flor.

El proceso de creación de esta figura de 17 piezas ensambladas fue todo un desafío, pero la paciencia y la precisión que requiere el origami es algo que disfruto enormemente. para hacerlo necesitaras 8 cuadrados de papel tales como los de la foto, ademas de un rectángulo cuyo tamalo dependerá de que tan alto quieras hacer el talle. Cada pliegue y cada doblez es una oportunidad para dar vida a esta hermosa obra de arte en papel. ademas del papel, utilizaremos un pequeño cortador, silicon fría y un palito de altura.

Finalmente, cuando terminé la figura y la miré con orgullo, supe que había logrado capturar la esencia de PRUNDA UNDERVESCH en todo su esplendor. Ahora tengo un bello marcapáginas inspirado en esta carta de Splinterlands que me recuerda la belleza y la magia que podemos crear con nuestras propias manos.

El origami no solo es una forma de arte, sino también una forma de expresión y creatividad. Cada figura que creamos tiene su propia historia y significado, y estoy feliz de poder compartir este proceso de creación con todos ustedes. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la tarjeta que hice con tanto amor para mi hermana elegida, Diana @chacald.dcymt. Aunque técnicamente ella es mi cuñada, para mí ha sido mucho más que eso. Siempre ha sido una persona preciosa en mi vida y en los últimos años, cuando las cosas se pusieron muy difíciles para mí, ella estuvo ahí para cuidarme y apoyarme.

Desde el 23 de enero que nació su hermoso bebe, ha estado hospitalizado en cuidados intensivos. Esto por supuesto nos ha generado mucho dolor y angustia a toda la familia. Mi pequeño sobrino está luchando por su vida y Dianita está luchando junto con él. Al igual que mi cuñado y padre de Angelito, que pone su alma y su cuerpo cada día, en buscar todo lo que el personal médico va solicitando.

Vi esta hermosa iniciativa junto a mi querida @aly.squid y no pudimos evitar llorar, muchas gracias a @dayadam por estar al frente de este amoroso espacio de solidaridad con nuestra querida Dianita y Angelito. Como ya todos saben mi gran pasión es el origami. Por esa razón quise hacer mi tarjeta de origami. Decidí hacerlo en un video, porque esta es una hermosa figura sirve de regalo para cualquier ser amado. Y en el video se ven cada uno de los pasos para llegar al resultado final.

Es tan sencillo que tan solo se necesita una hoja del papel que prefieras, también del color que más te guste. A diferencia de la mayoría de figuras de papel que realizo, esta no empieza con un cuadrado perfecto, necesitamos una hoja rectangular, yo use una A4. Y comenzamos a hacer la magia del doblado de papel.

Cuando estuvo por fin el sobre de corazón, con una pequeña cartulina de color rosa, escribí mi mensaje para Dianita:

El hermoso milagro de la vida, creció en ti y está entre nosotros. Ese mismo amor seguirá dando vida y salud a nuestro Ángel hermoso.

Dianita es una madre maravillosa, la vida me dio la oportunidad de conocerla y elegirla como hermana y ella también me ha elegido a mí. Fue ella quien me enseño el maravilloso mundo de Hive. Y no tan solo me hablo de la colmena, me enseño todo lo que se ahora. y cuando tengo alguna duda, acudo a ella, porque entre todas las grandes cosas que hace y es, también es maestra. Quiero que en estos momentos de lucha cuente conmigo y después más tarde tendremos las fiestas y el regocijo. Y eso también lo disfrutaremos juntas, como familia.

Que este post sea además un manifiesto escrito del amor y acompañamiento hacían Angelito y Dianita, dos hermosos corazones bellos que pronto estarán juntos en su casa. Today I want to share with you the card I made with so much love for my chosen sister, Diana @chacald.dcymt. Although she is technically my sister-in-law, to me she has been so much more than that. She has always been a precious person in my life and in the last few years, when things got really hard for me, she was there to take care of me and support me.

Since January 23rd that her beautiful baby boy was born, he has been hospitalized in intensive care. This of course has generated a lot of pain and anguish for the whole family. My little nephew is fighting for his life and Dianita is fighting along with him. As well as my brother-in-law and Angelito's father, who puts his soul and body every day, in looking for everything that the medical staff is requesting.

I saw this beautiful initiative with my dear @aly.squid and we could not help but cry, thank you very much to @dayadam for being at the forefront of this loving space of solidarity with our dear Dianita and Angelito. As you all know my great passion is origami. For that reason I wanted to make my origami card. I decided to do it in a video, because this is a beautiful figure serves as a gift for any loved one. And in the video you can see each of the steps to get to the final result.

It is so simple that you only need a sheet of paper of your choice, also the color you like. Unlike most of the paper figures I make, this one doesn't start with a perfect square, we need a rectangular sheet, I used an A4. And we start making the magic of paper folding.

When the heart envelope was finally there, with a little pink cardboard, I wrote my message to Dianita:

The beautiful miracle of life, grew in you and is among us. That same love will continue to give life and health to our beautiful Angel.

Dianita is a wonderful mother, life gave me the opportunity to meet her and choose her as my sister and she has also chosen me. It was she who taught me the wonderful world of Hive. And not only did she talk to me about the hive, she taught me everything I know now, and when I have any doubt, I go to her, because among all the great things she does and is, she is also a teacher. I had been a little bit away from the work of creation, for reasons of work and lack of time, but last month, during my vacations I took up again my great passion for origami. And I wanted to share it with you representing one of the beautiful cards of splinterlands.

The card in question is The Serpent Queen a striking epic rarity card that has always caught my attention for its design for its design and in-game abilities. She is a crucial card for any player, so I wanted to represent her power and beauty in a special way. And what better way than with the beautiful art of paper folding.

With patience and dedication, I managed to create a page mark inspired by “The Serpent Queen”. I used a black and white colored paper, colors with which I managed to represent the subtle elegance of this beautiful letter. A single rectangle of 15 by 30 centimeters.

The creation process was quite a challenge, as I had to carefully follow every fold and bend to achieve the desired shape. But the result was worth it, as the page mark was incredibly detailed. The most complicated part was the nose of the skull, but I managed to get the folds with the help of a small tweezers, with which I regularly fix my eyebrows.

I loved making a bookmark, because besides being beautiful and tender, the figure is also useful when it comes to enjoy some of my reading, because at home we read a lot and we always need bookmarks for all the books we read at the same time.

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive. Es un placer estar nuevamente en este maravilloso concurso Splinterlands Art Contest Week 327 después de tanto tiempo. Me había apartado un poco del trabajo de creación, por razones de trabajo y falta de tiempo, pero el mes pasado, durante mis vacaciones retome mi gran pasión por el origami. Y he querido compartirlo con ustedes representando una de las bellísimas cartas de splinterlands.

La carta en cuestión es The Serpent Queen una llamativa carta de que siempre ha llamado mi atención por su diseño y sus habilidades en el juego. Es una carta crucial para cualquier jugador, por lo que quería representar su poder y belleza de una manera especial. Y que mejor manera que con el bello arte de doblar papel.

Con paciencia y dedicación, logré crear un marca página inspirado en "The Serpent Queen". Utilicé un papel de colores negro y blanco, colores con los que logre representar la sutil elegancia de esta bella carta. un solo rectángulo de 15 por 30 centímetros.

El proceso de creación fue todo un reto, ya que tuve que seguir cuidadosamente cada pliegue y dobles para lograr la forma deseada. Pero el resultado valió la pena, ya que el marca página quedó increíblemente detallado. La parte más complicada fue la nariz de la calavera, pero conseguí os dobleces con ayuda de una pequeña pinza, con la que regularmente me arreglo las cejas.

Me encanto hacer un marca páginas, porque además de bella y tierna, también la figura es útil a la hora de disfrutar de alguna de mis lecturas, ya que en casa leemos mucho y siempre nos hacen falta marca páginas para todos los libros que leemos en simultáneo.

Les dejo un bello video que grabé especialmente para ustedes. En este video podrán ver todo el proceso de creación y lo más impórtate, podrán ver cada detalle de los dobleces por si quiere replicar la figura. I am in love with the sound quality they provide and how convenient they are to use and carry. One of the things I liked the most is how easy they are to set up and use, literally just plug the plug into the cell phone and turn on the microphone and that's it. The features on the box say that it has an operating range of 20 meters. And indeed it does. We did a test along the street calculating approximately 20 meters and the sound was tremendously clear, without any interference, this surprised and delighted us at the same time.

Now I will tell you about the tripod. Which in addition to fulfilling its traditional function, also serves as a selfie stick, so it has a remote control, which connects via Bluetooth and allows me to take pictures or start recording a video remotely. It's quite versatile and has the ability to extend up to 28 inches. And retracted it has a height of 7.28 inches. The truth with the tripod I have done little testing, but with a couple I have been very satisfied.

The microphones cost me $33, I thought that was an excellent price considering it comes with two magnetically charged bullet mics and a plug. The tripod cost 12$. Review de micrófonos inalambricos SX y trípode (Ingles/Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive. Me complace estar en esta hermosa comunidad compartiendo con los amantes de la tecnología. Quiero mostrarles y comentarles un poco acerca de mi reciente adquisición. Se trata de unos micrófonos inalámbricos marca SX. Esta es una marca china, que es conocida por fabricar y distribuir instrumentos musicales de buena calidad y muy accesibles económicamente. No había tenido ningún producto de esta marca, así que a la hora de comprarlos tuve mucha desconfianza, pero durante la prueba de sonido en la tienda quede realmente fascinada.

Estoy enamorada de la calidad de sonido que brindan y de lo prácticos que son para usar y trasladar. Con una conexión estable y sin interferencias, estos micrófonos me permiten moverme con total libertad mientras mantengo una excelente calidad de audio completamente nítido. Una de las cosas que más me gusto es lo fáciles de configurar y usar, literalmente solo hay que conectar el plug al celular y encender el micrófono y ya está. Las características en la caja dicen que tiene un rango de operación de 20 metros. Y efectivamente es así. Hicimos una prueba a lo largo de la calle calculando aproximadamente los 20 metros y el sonido era tremendamente nítido, sin ninguna interferencia, esto nos sorprendió y nos encantó al mismo tiempo.

Ahora les comentare sobre el trípode. El cual además de cumplir su función tradicional, también sirve como palo de selfies, por lo que cuenta con un control remoto, que se conecta por Bluetooth y me permite sacar fotos o comenzar a grabar un video a distancia. Es bastante versátil y tiene la capacidad de extenderse hasta por 28 pulgadas. Y retraído tiene una altura de 7,28 pulgadas. La verdad con el trípode he hecho pocas pruebas, pero con un par me he sentido muy satisfecha.

Los micrófonos me costaron 33$, me pareció un precio excelente considerando que trae dos micrófonos de bala con carga magnética y un plug. El trípode tuvo un costo de 12$. Para un total de 45$ por las dos cosas. Me pareció una buena inversión y estoy lista para comenzar a usar todo esto en mi nuevo proyecto, que consiste en grabar las entrevistas a los cultores de mi region. Tan solo me hace falta comprar unas buenas luces y todo estará listo.

Espero que mi experiencia con estos micrófonos inalámbricos y este trípode con control remoto, les resultara interesante. Para aquellos que están buscando mejorar la calidad de sus contenidos audiovisuales, les recomiendo estos micrófonos, son realmente increíbles y el trípode es muy accesible y funcional. Podrán escuchar y ver todo en las fotos y video que les comparto. Por ahora me despido dejándoles un fuerte abrazo.

Es todo un honor estar por acá en esta bella comunidad que reúne tantas experiencias cotidianas dentro de nuestro lugar más seguro, que es nuestro hogar. Es mi primera vez por acá, ya que no tenía idea de la existencia de este nicho, cosa que lamento mucho, ya que soy una amante de la limpieza, del orden y de tener los espacios del hogar dignos y actos para compartir momentos agradables o simplemente descansar. Sé que a veces el trabajo de limpieza y orden puede ser muy agotador, pero yo lo disfruto al máximo. Ahora bien hoy boy a hacer una confesión, una de las actividades domésticas que más me cuesta es arreglar las áreas verdes.

En la actualidad, por razones económicas, vivo en una comunidad rural a las afueras de la ciudad, más o menos a una hora de distancia. La mayoría de las casas de acá tienen patio con plantas, pasto o grama. En los cuatro años que llevo residenciada en esta comunidad he vivido en dos casas diferentes y ambas han tenido este tipo de patio. Esto se ha convertido en una verdadera pesadilla para mí, ya que la mantención de estos espacios, como ya dije, me resulta complicada y conseguir a alguien responsable que alga el trabajo se ha vuelto una misión imposible.

Así que después de esa breve introducción, quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia maravillosa que vivimos hace unos días en casa. Mi querida @aly.squid y yo nos decidimos a desmalezar las áreas verdes de nuestro pequeño patio, y para mi sorpresa fue una jornada muy divertida y enriquecedora. A pesar de que sigo pensando que el trabajo en las áreas verdes es bastante duro, me encanto hacerlo y quiero contarles los detalles de esta grandiosa jornada en casa.

Ni Aly mi yo tenemos experiencia en este tipo de trabajo, aun así los aventuramos y nos equipamos con las herramientas que teníamos a la mano. Dos tobos para acumular los residuos de pasto, una pala, en mi caso tenía botas de trabajo pero Aly no, gorras para protegernos del sol. La verdad no teníamos nada más, así que arrancamos con eso. Con tan solo cinco minutos tratando de sacar el pasto con la pala, nos dimos cuenta de que esta no tenía filo y que era mucho más agotador así. Así que nos pusimos manos a la obra, literalmente, decidimos usar nuestras manos para arrancar el pasto desde la raíz. Sabemos que de esta manera el pasto tarda más en crecer así que nos animamos a seguir haciéndolo así. Cada manotada de pasto que arrancábamos, salía con una porción de tierra, así que teníamos que sacudirla con fuerza para devolver la tierra y no dejar agujeros en el patio. El pasto se iba a los tobos y cuando ya estaban llenos, los depositábamos en unos barriles más grandes que están en el patio justamente para eso, según las indicaciones de los caseros que nos rentan la casa.

Durante más de dos horas estuvimos arrancando hierbas, arrancando maleza y limpiando cada rincón de nuestro espacio verde. Fue agotador, sí, pero a la vez gratificante. Sentíamos como si estuviéramos devolviéndole la vida a nuestro pequeño patio, y eso nos llenó de alegría, sobre todo porque lo hicimos juntas. Fue un trabajo en equipo que nos unió aún más como pareja, y nos hizo revalorizar la importancia de mantener nuestros espacios verdes cuidados y hermosos.

Entre las recomendaciones que puedo darle a todo el que se aventure a desmalezar su patio por primera vez, solo pudo decir que cuiden sus manos de cualquier espina o insecto pequeño, lo ideal es usar guantes de trabajo, lamentablemente nosotras no los teníamos, pero no nos lastimamos porque estuvimos muy pendientes de lo que agarrábamos, pero es recomendable reducir ese riesgo. También es importante tener cuidado a la hora de agacharse, ya que un mal movimiento podría lesionarnos, Aly y yo hemos investigado mucho sobre biomecánica para nuestros ejercicios, eso nos permitió cuidar nuestros movimientos. Y aunque quedamos totalmente adoloridas, fue por fatiga muscular y no por forzar alguna articulación ni la columna. También me gustaría agregar la importancia de hidratarse bien y protegerse del sol, tanto con gorras como con protector solar.

Me dio tanto gusto hacer este trabajo y fue tan satisfactorio, que sin duda lo volvería a hacer, aunque no me molestaría conseguir un poco de ayuda. Estoy segura de que para la próxima ocasión estaremos mejor preparadas con guantes y otras herramientas que nos faciliten el trabajo. Si ustedes conocen otra que me puedan recomendar se los agradecería mucho.

Weeding my backyard, with very few tools (Spanish/English)

A loving greeting to all my Hive friends. It is an honor to be here in this beautiful community that brings together so many daily experiences in our safest place, which is our home. It is my first time here, since I had no idea of the existence of this niche, which I regret very much, since I am a lover of cleanliness, order and having the spaces of the home worthy and acts to share pleasant moments or just rest. I know that sometimes the work of cleaning and tidying can be very tiring, but I enjoy it to the fullest. Now today I am going to make a confession, one of the domestic activities that I find most difficult is tidying up the green areas.

Currently, for economic reasons, I live in a rural community just outside the city, about an hour away. Most of the houses here have yards with plants, grass or lawns. In the four years that I have lived in this community I have lived in two different houses and both have had this type of patio. This has become a real nightmare for me, since the maintenance of these spaces, as I said, is complicated and getting someone responsible to do the job has become an impossible mission.

So after that brief introduction, I want to share with you a wonderful experience we lived a few days ago at home. My dear @aly.squid and I decided to weed the green areas of our little yard, and to my surprise it was a very fun and enriching journey. Even though I still think that working in green areas is quite hard, I loved doing it and I want to tell you the details of this great day at home.

Neither Aly nor I have experience in this type of work, but we still ventured out and equipped ourselves with the tools we had on hand. Two buckets to collect the grass residue, a shovel, in my case I had work boots but Aly didn't, and hats to protect us from the sun. We didn't really have anything else, so that's all we started with. After only five minutes of trying to shovel the grass, we realized that the shovel had no edge and that it was much more tiring that way. So we got to work, literally, we decided to use our hands to pull the grass out by the roots. We know that this way the grass takes longer to grow so we were encouraged to keep doing it this way. Every handful of grass that we pulled up, came out with a patch of dirt, so we had to shake it hard to get the dirt back and not leave holes in the yard. The grass went into the buckets and when they were full, we deposited them in larger barrels that are in the yard just for that purpose, according to the instructions of the landlords who rent us the house.

For more than two hours we were pulling weeds, pulling brush and cleaning every corner of our green space. It was exhausting, yes, but rewarding at the same time. We felt as if we were giving life back to our little patio, and that filled us with joy, especially because we did it together. It was a team effort that brought us even closer together as a couple, and made us reevaluate the importance of keeping our green spaces cared for and beautiful.

Among the recommendations I can give to anyone who ventures to weed their yard for the first time, I can only say that take care of your hands from any thorn or small insect, ideally use work gloves, unfortunately we did not have them, but we did not get hurt because we were very aware of what we grabbed, but it is advisable to reduce that risk. It is also important to be careful when bending down, since a wrong movement could injure us, Aly and I have done a lot of research on biomechanics for our exercises, that allowed us to take care of our movements. And although we were totally sore, it was due to muscle fatigue and not from forcing any joints or the spine. I would also like to add the importance of hydrating well and protecting yourself from the sun, both with hats and sunscreen.

I was so happy to do this job and it was so satisfying, I would definitely do it again, although I wouldn't mind getting a little help. I am sure that next time we will be better prepared with gloves and other tools to make the job easier. If you know of another one that you can recommend I would be very grateful.

Splinterlands DIY fan art // HORNY TOAD (Inglés /Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente a los que cada semana desbordan sus habilidades creativas en esta hermosa iniciativa Splinterlands Art Contest Week 306!. Para esta ocasión quiero compartirles mi representación de una gran carta, se trata de HORNY TOAD. Esta carta me costó un poco de trabajo, ya que odio los sapos. Pero fue muy interesante realizar esta propuesta porque la figura en papel me encanta.

Como casi siempre para realizar esta figura, tan solo necesite un cuadrado de papel, en este caso de color verde. Y por supuesto toda la disposición de doblar y hacer un hermoso trabajo. Lo que me gusta de esta carta y la relación con mi representación es que el HORNY TOAD se hincha de aire para botar las espinas y en el caso de la figura de papel también hay que inflarlo de aire para que cobre forma. A fin de cuentas es un sapo hinchado en ambas versiones.

También me gusta porque usas las características reales de los sapos, tales como orinar cuando se asustan. Esto es real, ya que vivo en una zona de campo donde hay muchos de estos animales y cuando la gente los agarra o los perros los muerden generalmente se orinan, como un mecanismo de defensa para sobrevivir. Esto suele ser muy asqueroso, pero interesante. También se cree que la orina de los sapos puede ser toxica para algunos animales, pero no sé qué tan cierto sea. La verdad es que me encanta asociar las leyendas de las cartas con estas cosas de la vida real.

En cuanto al proceso creativo y de elaboración, podrán ver bastante de el en el video que les comparto. De hecho podrán seguir los pasos para hacer su propia figura. Porque como es costumbre, lo he hecho bastante detallado para que se puedan apreciar todos los dobleces.

En general he disfrutado mucho realizando esta figura inspirada en una carta de Splinterlands. Y les invito a todos a conocer este maravilloso mundo y jugar. Por ahora me despido dejándoles un fuerte abrazo. Hasta pronto.

A loving greeting to all my Hive friends. Especially to all of you who every week post your extraordinary rides every Wednesday. This time I want to share with you an extraordinary walk I did a few days ago to the community of Puerto Vivas. I had not visited this beautiful place, but without a doubt I was fascinated. This small town is 1 hour and a half from the city of San Cristobal, Tachira State, Venezuela. But the truth is that it belongs to the Andres Eloy Blanco municipality of Barinas State. Getting to Puerto Vivas is really magical, since in the center of the community you can see the state of Apure. So it is a point that connects three states of our beautiful Venezuela: Táchira, Barinas and Apure.

The trip to Puerto Vivas was a truly enriching experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by its inhabitants, who proudly showed us their way of life and traditions. I went with my dear @aly.squid and two friends, Ysley and Marcos. We went to collaborate with the national census of artisans and artisans. Puerto Vivas is a community where almost all of its inhabitants are engaged in artisanal fishing. We walked through its narrow streets, surrounded by humble houses and talked with its beautiful people.

The majority of adult men are engaged in fishing, a large part of them master the manual weaving of tarrayas or the construction of the wooden boats with which they sail. All of these are cultural expressions of fishing, as they make from scratch the instruments with which they will later take to the water.Meanwhile the women and children master a wide gastronomy based on fresh fish, one of the most interesting things they told us was the process to extract gelatin from the fish scales, a highly nutritional food for its high content of collagen.

On this occasion we were not able to record any of these processes, as the community was in the closed season. This means that it is not possible to fish because the fish are in the reproductive period. This prevents the life cycle of the river's species from being violated and prevents their extinction. One of the fishermen told us that this was a good season to sleep, which made us laugh. Despite not being able to see this community in action, it was wonderful to sit and listen to their anecdotes and experiences. We learned a lot from each of them.

Although Puerto Vivas is a beautiful town, with its cobblestone streets and the organization of its people. It is unfortunate that because it is so close to the river, in times of rain the waters get messy and sometimes sweep away some houses and belongings of families. Even so, the people resist and face all these adversities as one big family.

In summary, the trip to Puerto Vivas was an unforgettable experience that allowed us to get to know closely the cultural and human richness of a small corner of our country. We take all this beauty in our hearts, all these generations transmitting this ancestral knowledge. It is really inspiring.

Un paseo en Puerto Vivas (Ingles/Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive. Especialmente con a todos aquellos que cada semana publican sus extraordinarios paseos de cada miércoles. Esta vez quiero compartirles un extraordinario paseo que hice hace unos días a la comunidad de Puerto Vivas. No había visitado este hermoso lugar, pero sin duda quede fascinada. Este pequeño pueblo queda a 1 hora y media de la ciudad de San Cristóbal Estado Táchira, Venezuela. Pero lo cierto es que pertenece al municipio Andrés Eloy blanco del Estado Barinas. Llegar a puerto vivas es realmente mágico, ya que en el centro de la comunidad puedes ver el estado Apure. Así que es un punto que conecta tres estados de nuestra hermosa Venezuela: Táchira, Barinas y Apure.

El paseo a Puerto Vivas fue una experiencia verdaderamente enriquecedora. Desde que llegamos, fuimos recibidos con calidez por sus habitantes, quienes nos mostraron con orgullo su forma de vida y sus tradiciones. Fui con mi querida @aly.squid y dos amigos, Ysley y Marcos. Fuimos a colaborar con el censo nacional de cultores y artesanos. Puerto Vivas es una comunidad donde casi toda la totalidad de sus pobladores se dedican a la pesca artesanal. Recorrimos sus calles estrechas, rodeadas de casas humildes y hablamos con su hermosa gente.

La mayoría de hombres adultos se dedican a pescar, una gran parte de ellos domina el tejido manual de tarrayas o la construcción de los botes de madera con los que navegan. Todas estas son expresiones culturales de la pesca, pues realizan desde cero los instrumentos con los que más tarde se echarán al agua. Mientras tanto las mujeres y los niños dominan una amplia gastronomía a base de pescado fresco, una de las cosas más interesantes que nos contaron fue el proceso para extraer gelatina de las escamas del pescado, un alimento altamente nutricional por su gran contenido de colágeno.

En esta ocasión no pudimos registra ninguno de estos procesos, ya que la comunidad estaban en temporada de Veda. Que significa que no es posible pescar ya que los peses están en periodo de reproducción. Esto permite que no se violente el ciclo de vida de las especies del rio y previene la extinción de las mismas. Uno de los pescadores nos dijo que esta era una buena temporada para dormir, esto nos dio mucha risa. A pesar de no poder ver a esta comunidad en acción, fue maravilloso sentarnos a escuchar sus anécdotas y experiencias. Aprendimos mucho de cada uno de ellos.

A pesar de que Puerto Vivas es un pueblo hermoso, con sus calles empedradas y la organización de su gente. Es lamentable que por estar tan cerca del rio, en épocas de lluvia las aguas se desorden y en ocasiones arrase con algunas casas y las pertenecías de las familias. Aun así su pueblo resiste y enfrente todas estas adversidades como una gran familia.

En resumen, el paseo a Puerto Vivas fue una experiencia inolvidable que nos permitió conocer de cerca la riqueza cultural y humana de un rinconcito de nuestro país. Nos llevamos toda esta belleza en el corazón, todas estas generaciones transmitiendo esto saberes ancestrales. Es realmente inspirador.

ICE PIXIE is a beautiful character. She is a lovely blue fairy from the land of ice. I have always been a fan of fairies, in fact one of my favorite movies is Pan's Labyrinth by Mexican director Guillermo del Toro, where among all the amazing and creepy magical creatures, fairies stand out adorably. I never thought I could create a paper fairy. And now I am very satisfied.

In order not to stray from the character ICE PIXIE, I chose a deep blue paper. Like most of the origami figures I've made, this one starts with a square. I also used a pencil, but that's just to model the fairy's wings at the end.

Paper folding is always a wonderful experience. As an active meditation practice it is very helpful for concentration and self-discovery. For me it is a magical process just like the fairies. Esta semana les traigo la carta ICE PIXIE representada a través del hermoso arte de doblar papel.

ICE PIXIE es un personaje bellísimo. Se trata de una encantadora hada azul de la tierra del hielo. Siempre he sido fanática de las hadas, de hecho una de mis películas favoritas es El laberinto del Fauno del director mexicano Guillermo del Toro, donde entre todas las creaturas mágicas asombrosas y espeluznantes, resaltan adorablemente las hadas. Nunca pensé que podría crear un hada de papel. Y ahora estoy muy satisfecha.

Para no alejarme del personaje ICE PIXIE, escogí un papel azul intenso. Como casi todas las figuras de origami que he realizado, esta comienza con un cuadrado. También utilice un lápiz, pero eso es tan solo para modelar las alas del hada al final.

Doblar papel siempre es una experiencia maravillosa. Por ser una práctica de meditación activa es muy útil para la concentración y el autodescubrimiento. Para mí es un proceso mágico tal como las hadas. En el video que les comparto podrán ver cada detalle del proceso, y si gustan seguir paso a paso para obtener su propia ICE PIXIE.

Aves Sturgis is one of the most iconic cards in Splinterlands, because of its elegant design and powerful attack ability. I decided to take this card into the world of origami and create a figure that captures its essence. All I needed was a square brown sheet. Despite the original character's clothes, you can see that his feathers are brown. I also used a small pencil to model the paper in the last steps.

The creation process was challenging, but also a rewarding experience. I immersed myself in folds and creases, concentrating on every detail to achieve a faithful representation of Aves Sturgis on paper. It was exciting to see how the figure came to life little by little, taking shape and showing all its beauty.

As always, when I finished the figure, I was really proud of the result. If you are origami lovers and even if you are just dabbling in it, I encourage you to dare to create your own figures inspired by your favorite Splinterlands cards. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia creando una figura de origami basada en la carta de Aves Sturgis, por supuesto para presentar en la iniciativa semanal Splinterlands Art Contest Week 299!.

Aves Sturgis es una de las cartas más icónicas de Splinterlands, por su diseño elegante y poderosa habilidad de ataque. Decidí llevar esta carta al mundo del origami y crear una figura que capturara su esencia. Tan solo necesite una hoja cuadrada de color marrón. Pues a pesar de los ropajes del personaje original se ve que sus plumas son marrones. También use un pequeño lápiz para modelar el papel en los últimos pasos.

El proceso de creación fue todo un desafío, pero también una experiencia gratificante. Me sumergí en pliegues y dobleces, concentrándome en cada detalle para lograr una representación fiel de Aves Sturgis en papel. Fue emocionante ver cómo la figura cobraba vida poco a poco, tomando forma y mostrando toda su belleza.

Como siempre, cuando terminé la figura, me sentí realmente orgullosa del resultado. Si son amantes del origami e incluso si apenas están incursionando en él, les animo a que se atrevan a crear sus propias figuras inspiradas en sus cartas favoritas de Splinterlands. Es una experiencia increíble que les permitirá explorar su creatividad y disfrutar al máximo de su pasión por este fascinante arte. This is a powerful card, because this ape imposes itself just with the look. The truth is that I am very satisfied with the work, because I didn't think I could capture the angry features in the paper, but the truth is that it has turned out very well.

To make this beautiful figure I only needed a square of cardboard. I chose a color quite similar to ENDLESS APE and folded it with patience and concentration.

I have always thought that paper folding has no limits. Throughout all this time I have been able to do things I never imagined with the art of paper folding. The best thing is that with effort and dedication anyone can make these figures.

This is FLAME MONKEY a charming letter of a smiling monkey holding a flame in his hands.

Making it was quite a challenge, but I enjoyed it very much. The flame of fire I had to make it separately because he FLAME MONKEY has to carry his flame, as it is one of his special features.

With a few folds and a good arrangement you get this beautiful figure. I love the details of the face because you can clearly see that it is the face of a monkey. And ultimately that's the whole point of origami, to get that characterization on paper.

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente a los que cada semana dedican su esfuerzo creativo en este maravilloso concurso Splinterlands Art Contest Week 291. En esta ocasión les traigo una carta que me encanta y siempre había querido representar a través del hermoso arte de doblar papel. Se trata de FLAME MONKEY una encantadora carta de un monito sonriente que sostiene en sus manos una llamarada.

Hacerlo fue un gran reto, pero lo disfrute mucho. La llama de fuego tuve que hacerla aparte porque él FLAME MONKEY tiene que llevar su llama, ya que es una de sus características especiales.

Como es un mono sonriente quise transmitir esa alegría a través de un papel colorido, pero marrón tal como el personaje de la carta. Para la llamita use una cartulina amarilla y un lápiz de color naranja.

En el video que les comparto pueden ver perfectamente cada uno de los detalles. Me pareció que es una figura muy fácil de realizar, incluso si estas empezando a trabajar con el origami.

Con pocos dobleces y una buena disposición obtienes esta hermosa figura. Me encantan los detalles de la cara porque claramente se ve que es la cara de un mono. Y finalmente ese es el objetivo del origami, conseguir esa caracterización en el papel.

Disfrute mucho esta nueva experiencia artística a través del mágico mundo de Splinterlands y sus maravillosas cartas. Espero esta nuevamente por acá compartiendo otro fan art. Hasta pronto, un abrazo.

A loving greeting to all my Hive friends especially to the people who every week make their artistic creations for the Splinterlands Art Contest Week 289!. This time I bring you a fan art of Splinterlands cards represented with my favorite art which is origami. The card is SCARRED LLAMA MAGE.

This card is very colorful and eye-catching, so I chose a paper that concentrates all that color and charm. It also has some natural elements like flowers and ladybugs, so it makes a good reference that this is an Earth card.

For this paper figure, I only needed a square sheet of paper and all the willingness of my hands to fold.

At the last minute I was able to post my Fan Art from Splinterlands Art Contest Week 277 even though I had done it a few days ago. But power cuts play with my plans and my patience. But here I am as every week without fail, the commitment to this great contest is from the heart. Especially because I really enjoy all the creative sharing that is unleashed thanks to this space.

This time I have brought a very special card. It is FURIOUS CHICKEN. I found the story of this card fascinating, it reminded me of one of my favorite movies which is Chicken Run and of course the sequel Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget. Basically the same story, a revolution made by the downtrodden against the powerful. Children's movies with pretty tough plots.

Just this week my dear @aly.squid and I watched these two movies and suddenly I find this beautiful card that tells this touching story of chicks. So I decided to make this character through the beautiful art of paper folding.

All I needed was a square of white paper and my hands willing to create. I also used some markers at the end to draw the features of this special character.
