It's a Minecraft mod that I've known ever since around the time it released, but really got into it a few months ago. The mod is kinda old so it didn't have much stuff back then, but in more recent years it's been completely revamped so be a proper hardcore survival mod as well as the tech mod that it was from the beginning.

Anyway... I hope anyone who wants to play this mod find this video useful !

First I'd like to say that it's some inconsistency in the episode editing, before I was able to edit them a lot more, but that takes a lot of time...
So from now I will edit them more If I have time, at least for this series.

With a bit of delay, I present to you the final episode of season 1 of SONS OF THE FOREST!!!

In this episode:

More basebuilding and finally finishing off the base. As this episode was recorded - Update 2 of the game has just rolled out, so I go and check out some of the stuff that it has to offer.

In todays episode:

I moved the placement of the filing cabinets to one side of the base, so that they aren't in the middle of it. Also filled some additional details in the build.

Most likely I will work a bit more on the base design and furnishment offline and in the next few episodes you will see the upgrades.

I reworked the area where the geothermal energy production is and improved it. Now it should make enough lava while storing some extra in tanks for when it needs more.

Also put some more machines around from Mekanism and other mods that are gonna be useful.

Since it's been some time that I made my tinker's construct tools, so now that I have some XP in them and enough modifiers I upgraded them with different materials to make them better.

Finally I worked on automating the plastic production with a small design which can probably be improved even more, but for now I'm fine with it... As long as it works ;)

In this episode:

Not too much to say this time, but in the first part of the video I do 2 speed montages of building the base while also doing some improvements around the island to make it look better.

Later on I will improve the base even more and add make different rooms for the different mods and things in this modpack.

The episode starts without an intro because I messed up some of the recordings somehow and and had to work stuff out....
Still a lot of the footage just can't make it into these video. You can see that I had to mix 2 episodes into 1, because its just too much :D.. Anyway.

So, in this episode:

I do more cave exploration where I mainly collect some resources , while trying to make it out alive with them :D

Also more base construction, if you watched my previous episode "Construction Nightmares" now you'll know why xD. Anyway I try my best and improve for later seasons :). It's a really cool building system which I have yet to try out further.

You might be wondering why construction nightmares? Well, that you'll find out in later episodes, but let's say I'm very ambitious sometimes, but I lack the skill to do it xD.
The thing Is that will yet to learn the building tactics in this game, but I can tell you (from future "editing Geevo") that I've gotten better ;)

Also regarding the story, I probably complete it again soon, unless Endnight releases some major story update.

So, let's do the recap of the episode real quick:

After I finished the game's story in the last episode, now we can freely focus on constructing a base that will (eventually) protect us from the cannibals.

Played a bit with the rope gun and making ziplines for transporting logs more easily and also started to make the wall on the top part of the base where the big rock is.

The tough part with building is that basically I suck :D, but also I wanted to use defensive walls all around, but the update that fixed wall gates wasn't released yet, so I had to be creative. And this doesn't even end here.. :D

In this episode:

Pretty self explanatory by the title.

I do some more nether exploration where I scour through the nearest nether fortress and find some decent loot.

Also some additional tweaks on the machines around the base, making sure they work properly...
