Hace un par de semanas hemos tenido una conferencia con estudiantes de una sección de primer semestre de varias carreras técnicas en uno de los auditorios de la universidad. Aunque oficialmente no es nuestra primera actividad en la institución. Hace unos meses patrocinamos una actividad deportiva, para ser específicos se trató de un torneo de fútbol de salón con equipos conformados netamente de estudiantes de esta universidad.

También tuvimos un par de conferencias piloto hace unos meses. A pesar de contar con experiencia en el entorno académico, las dinámicas de las universidades son distintas, además que la disposición, interés y motivación de los estudiantes no siempre es igual. Lo que nos dejó interesantes lecciones sobre la dinámica universitaria.

Dicho esto, y volviendo sobre el asunto que nos convoca, queremos también notificar que además de la conferencia que hemos tenido, tenemos agendadas otras varias con diferentes secciones. Ahora bien, también hemos tenido un par de reuniones con varios profesores, por un lado el encargado del departamento de estudios básicos y el encargado de la dirección de cultura de la universidad.

Con ambos docentes hemos tenido charlas fructíferas y con quienes ya estamos coordinando los siguientes pasos en esta labor de llevar Hive a la institución, de hecho, hasta han puesto sobre la mesa la posibilidad de pintar un mural de Hive en una de las paredes del edificio de estudios generales pues es el edificio más cercano al edificio central de la universidad.

También el profesor Alejandro Aguilar, quien ha sido nuestro aliado en las jornadas de “Builiding Day” puesto que se centran en el desarrollo en Hive, recientemente como profesor de esta institución ha recaído la responsabilidad de re-acondicionar uno de los laboratorios de computación, por ello en este espacio será donde se llevarán a cabo los próximos “Building day”.

Hive at the National Experimental Polytechnic University “Antonio José de Sucre”

On this occasion, we would like to share with the entire community that we have formally begun a new stage in our initiative to spread Hive throughout the region's universities. In this new phase, we are both excited and deeply committed to mentioning that we have arrived at UNEXPO, or as it is known in the city, “El Poli,” whose full name we mention in the title of this publication.

A couple of weeks ago, we held a conference with first-semester students from various technical degree programs in one of the university's auditoriums. However, this is not officially our first activity at the institution. A few months ago, we sponsored a sporting event, specifically an indoor soccer tournament with teams made up entirely of students from this university.

Despite our experience in the academic environment, the dynamics of universities are different, and the willingness, interest, and motivation of students are not always the same. That said, and returning to the matter at hand, we would also like to announce that, in addition to the conference we have held, we have scheduled several others with different sections. We have had fruitful discussions with both teachers and are already coordinating the next steps in bringing Hive to the institution. In fact, they have even raised the possibility of painting a Hive mural on one of the walls of the general studies building, as it is the closest building to the university's main building.

Professor Alejandro Aguilar, who has been our ally in the “Building Day” workshops since they focus on development in Hive, has recently been given the responsibility of refurbishing one of the computer labs as a professor at this institution. This time, we began with a brief review of the theory and then delved deeper into the aspects related to development. As a first step to reinforce what we had learned, we took a moment to record attendance by storing the information on the blockchain.

Cabe acotar que uno de los retos que hemos notado al tener un grupo variado es la sincronización entre todos a causa de disparidad en los conocimientos y habilidades, pero, eso mismo ha propiciado una grandiosa camaradería en los integrantes. En esta sesión tras haber hecho algunas prácticas en vivo y profundizar en la teoría, se dio paso a elaborar entre todos los participantes un MVP o lo que viene siendo un producto minimo viable a desarrollar a modo de práctica y enfocado en el aprendizaje. Se dividieron en grupos de dos integrantes por equipo para dividir las tareas que en esta segunda jornada apenas se comenzó.

Los jóvenes escogieron desarrollar un juego tipo “adivina palabras” usando los nombres de las criaturas de una famosa serie animada de televisión “Pokemon” seguro la conoces. Fue una jornada de mucho aprendizaje para estos chicos, y si en la primera sesión se fueron a sus casas animados, en esta segunda oportunidad se fueron aun con más ánimos y entusiasmados.

Posterior a la reunión y previamente al torneo, realizamos un webinar con el equipo organizardor del evento y algunos capitanes de los equipos inscritos, donde les hablamos de Hive y su ecosistema, haciendo hincapié en Actifit ya que al ser un evento deportivo y tratarse de jóvenes deportistas, esta Dapp es la ideal para que puedan comenzar su camino en la blockchain.

Es importante resaltar que desde siempre las actividades son autogestionadas y que nunca han recibido apoyo o algún patrocinio. Razón que nos motivó a buscar la manera de apoyarles, y en este sentido debemos dar gracias a @actifit y @valueplan que lo han hecho posible.

Hive y su ecosistema no solo va ganando terreno en entornos académicos, sino que ejerce una fuerza transformadora y que genera impactos positivos en jóvenes en formación profesional, generando curiosidad en interés en nuestra amada blockchain y su ecosistema.

Esto es un punto estratégico que se enlaza con nuestro proyecto HiveDev, al dar a conocer al ecosistema de Hive como puerta de entrada a la web 3, se capta el interés de estudiantes y profesores que pueden interesarse en participar en los talleres técnicos para desarrolladores. As it is known, this educational project focuses energies, resources and time in attending university spaces where Hive can not only represent a positive and transforming impact, but can also provide an environment for the expression and development of projects.

In this opportunity we have attended to the invitation of a group of students of the UNEXPO (Universidad Nacional Experimental Politécnica) to support them in a certain sporting event, as you have been able to see, an indoor soccer tournament or Futsal, as they wish to call it, which led us to coordinate a meeting with the team organizing the tournament.

In that meeting, they explained to us not only the reason for the organized group, which in summary focuses on promoting extracurricular sports activities, and that it is a totally student movement, the house of study only provides the facilities and environments for the realization of these sporting events, which are usually two tournaments a year, or one per semester.

After the meeting and prior to the tournament, we conducted a webinar with the organizing team of the event and some captains of the registered teams, where we talked about Hive and its ecosystem, with emphasis on Actifit because being a sporting event and being young athletes, this Dapp is ideal for them to start their way in the blockchain.

As previously presented, in Barquisimeto, Venezuela we have created a technical workshop for development and technology students. This type of event has clear short, medium and long term objectives, as well as being work that can boost the value of Hive's currency in the future.

HiveDev Basic:

This is the basic level of onboarding for university students and professors. It shows basic aspects of the blockchain and proceeds to open accounts for workshop attendees, basic web 3 concepts, as well as examples of interacting with the blockchain in real time.

The basic level is used to create or expand the community of developers interested in learning about and building on Hive.

HiveDev Practical or Module 2:

Este tipo de eventos tiene objetivos claros a corto, mediano y largo plazo, además de ser un trabajo que puede impulsar el valor de la moneda de Hive en el futuro.

Desde hace algún tiempo, se está trabajando en los ambientes universitarios, desde la creación de contenido hasta nichos específicos; sin embargo, en el ámbito de desarrollo hay oportunidades tanto para la blockchain como para las universidades. Así lo ha visto nuestro facilitador de este taller @alexcode117, profesor universitario en la universidad UNEXPO quien ha observado en Hive el potencia para el desarrollo de aplicaciones y soluciones debido a todas esas ventajas que ya conocemos.

Este profesor de tecnología ha revisado la documentación de Hive y la ha convertido en un taller teórico y práctico para los estudiantes universitarios, profesores y demás interesados en aprender sobre como construir en Hive, incluso la misma comunidad puede participar en este tipo de eventos, sabiendo todos los beneficios que se obtienen al capacitarse en desarrollo blockchain.

Veamos de manera resumida lo que se impartió en este taller básico de la blockchain de Hive:

• Características de la Blockchain de Hive.
• Sistema jerárquico de keys.
• Hive KeyChain.
• Transacciones en Hive (postear, comentar, votar, transferir fondos).
• Firma digital.
• Utilización de la Hive KeyChain a nivel de código.
• Ejemplo práctico de un "Login with Keychain" en el frontend.
• Ejemplo práctico de "Login with Keychain" con verificación en el Backend usando Next.js.
• Análisis del resultado exitoso y fallido de dicho login para saber gestionar la autenticación.
• Ejemplo práctico de creación de un post a través de código sin interfaz.
• Verificación de la creación de dicho post a través de su visualización en las interfaces de Hive.blog y el explorador de bloques.

Estrategias para el Taller HiveDev como evento

Este no es un evento sin planificación o estrategia, todo lo contrario es un importante nicho, se está introduciendo dentro de las estrategias de nuestro proyecto, por lo que es necesario mencionarlas siempre:

Incluir a estudiantes o personas con deseo de aprendizaje en desarrollo Blockchain

Mediante las estrategias en las universidades, como eventos patrocinados, encuentros con estudiantes, entre otras actividades, se busca aumentar la influencia de Hive en ambientes de educación superior, dando a conocer sobre el ecosistema blockchain de Hive y sus beneficios de Web 3. Al tener la atención de estudiantes y profesores, se procede a invitarlos a los talleres HiveDev.

HiveDev Básico:

Este es el nivel básico de onboarding para los estudiantes universitarios y profesores. Se muestra aspectos básicos de la blockchain y se procede a abrir cuentas para los asistentes del taller, conceptos básicos de web 3, así como ejemplos de interacción con la blockchain en tiempo real.

El nivel básico se utiliza para crear o ampliar la comunidad de desarrolladores interesados en aprender sobre Hive y construir sobre ella.

HiveDev Práctico o Módulo 2:

Este es un nivel de práctica, en donde se busca un salón con computadoras para que los participantes que ya saben de los conceptos básicos y vieron en tiempo real la interacción con la blockchain puedan practicar con ejercicios reales introduciendo código para ejecutar acciones o transacciones dentro de la blockchain.

Uno de los objetivos de este nivel es descubrir soluciones que pueda ofrecer la blockchain de Hive a las universidades y verificar la viabilidad de esta implementación en un futuro cercano.

Building Day:

Este es un día para desarrollar pequeños proyectos dentro de Hive con el conocimiento aprendido para un testeo e implementación dentro de universidades o en otros lugares en donde se pueda aprovechar este tipo de tecnología.

Para este tipo de evento se alquila un salón con computadoras y un grupo de desarrolladores se ponen manos a la obra para desarrollar un proyecto, siempre tutelado por el facilitador o aquellos desarrolladores de Hive que deseen participar.

Primer Proyecto de Desarrollo sobre la Blokchain de Hive en Venezuela:

En la actualidad se está estudiando la posibilidad de un pequeño proyecto en la universidad UNEXPO, en su tiempo se dará a conocer sobre este proyecto que servirá como base para la construcción e implantación de proyectos basados en la blockchain de Hive e Venezuela.

Dentro de nuestra planificación se encuentra un evento "Building Day" para la creación del código, sabiendo que todos los eventos tienen la posibilidad de complementarse con eventos online.

Se ha creado un repositorio en github para estructurar la información en idioma español, para los eventos de HiveDev, esto ayudará a los estudiantes a interactuar y relacionarse con el ecosistema de Hive.

En esta actividad hemos presentado la competición musical más top de todo web3, si. como lo piensas hablamos de Vibes y de manera virtual a distancia hemos contado con el grandioso apoyo de @dimeilaz que nos mandó un video sustancioso sobre Vibes y de qué va la competición. Compartiéndonos las posibilidades que poseen los artistas al participar cada ronda por alguno de los 6 premios a repartir.

Tuvimos una participación asombrosa de músicos talentosos de la ciudad, además que nos visitaron el equipo de un estudio músical con quien acordamos una visita para hablarle más a detalle de Hive y adoptarlo en el uso del HBD como medio de pago, ya que podría darse una suerte de sinergia musical interesante, además de la posibilidad de repetir una jornada como esta y presentarle Vibes a su comunidad musical.

Pero, no solo hablamos de Vibes en esta oportunidad, obviamente conversamos de Hive y de la posibilidad que tienen los artistas en las diferentes comunidades musicales al momento de expresar sus talentos.

Al finalizar, tras tomarnos la foto grupal invitamos a los participantes a unirse a un grupo de Whatsapp para aclarar dudas, y animarlos a participar en las próximas rondas de Vibes. Abrimos algunas cuentas de los participantes que no tenían cuentas en Hive y disfrutamos de un micro concierto.

Como cada visita que hacemos a Paryus Café, la atención es increíble, además de recibirnos calurosamente y ofrecernos cosas deliciosas.

Barquisimeto is known for being the musical capital of Venezuela and a few days ago we held a meeting especially for musicians in @paryuscafe. Fortunately in our team we have a person who has extensive musical journey in Hive and for that reason has been Zullyscott who has guided us in this journey.

¿Por que Club de Emprendedores?

No nace esto por simple capricho, sino que tras haber sostenido reuniones con directivos de la Cámara de Comercio del estado Lara, en donde se ha apuntalado como prioridad el apoyo desde varios factores al pequeño comerciante o como popularmente se conoce "emprendedores". Pues, indiscutiblemente son un sector del comercio un poco desatendido y los directivos de la Cámara nos han solicitado el apoyo y el acompañamiento desde nuestro enfoque tecnológico debido a la poca información y educación a grandes rasgos sobre las criptomonedas y blockchain, en donde nosotros valiéndonos del reconocimiento que de Hive hemos ido labrando, poder no solo dar a conocer, sino que poder mostrar la blockchain como un entorno digital que resuelve varios problemas en este sector.

Dicho esto, nos enorgullece poder decir que con este taller hemos inaugurado el CLUB DE EMPRENDEDORES

Objetivos del Club de Emprendedores:

• Dar a conocer los beneficios de la web 3 y el ecosistema de Hive a emprendedores que comienzan a ser tutelados por instituciones relevantes y de prestigio en la región como lo es la Cámara de Comercio del Estado Lara y Fedecámaras Lara.

• Crear una economía circular y colaborativa entre emprendedores basada en el HBD y Hive, con la ventaja competitiva que ofrece Distriator al gasto en HBD, teniendo rondas de compra y ventas de productos y servicios ofertados en el grupo.

• Colaborar directamente con instituciones gremiales y financieras en la formación de emprendedores, así aumentar la influencia de Hive de manera institucional desde un punto de vista financiero y de oportunidad.

• Fomentar el ahorro en HBD y posicionar este activo como un refugio de valor ante las incertidumbre económica, así como también una opción para pagos internacionales.

Ahora bien, hablemos del taller.

Lo primero que hicimos ha sido exponer a los participantes lo que ya hemos mencionado párrafos arriba, el motivo que ha movido la necesidad de comenzar un club de emprendedores.

Seguidamente las palabras iniciales decidimos hacer del primer momento algo más dinamico a modo de conversatorio para motivar la participación, partiendo de la pregunta: ¿Cómo pasar de sobrevivir a construir? Momento en el que cada uno expuso ideas que nacieron de su realidad de emprendedores.

Finalizado este momento inicial, arrancamos con el segmento principal del taller, que era conversar sobre Hive para emprendedores, entender algunas herramientas del ecosistema, desde la creación de contenido hasta del eso de Dapps como V4V y Distriator.

Resaltamos el uso del $HBD como moneda estable descentralizada con relación 1:1 con el $USD, perfecta para efectuar o recibir pagos de manera instantánea y sin comisiones. Hicimos hincapié en el hecho de que hablar del HBD es hablar de una moneda que nos permite conservar valor protegiendo nuestro dinero de cara a la inflación de las economías en especial la venezolana que es nuestro contexto.

Habiendo culminado esta etapa, iniciamos con el momento que destinamos para exponer nuestra visión de como el club de emprendedores puede representar un factor de cambio y punto de apoyo con un indice de crecimiento y escalabilidad que puede representar ventajas competitivas a los emprendedores que integren el club.

Asimismo transmitimos la información relevante para los emprendedores que ha nacido de las reuniones que hemos tenido con miembros de la directiva de la Cámara de comercio del estado Lara y de las reuniones que hemos sostenido con miembros de Fedecamaras Lara. Uno de los puntos ha sido que entes bancarios están dispuestos a comenzar un programa de créditos a emprededores, pero, para ello deben estar formalizados y poseer su certificado de emprendedor, y para ello hemos logrado una alianza estratégica una empresa de consultoría que esta dispuesta a apoyar, aunque nosotros como equipo centrado en educar y difundir sobre Hive y como puede crear un impacto positivo en la vida de las personas, no podemos asegurar ni prometer créditos o cosas por el estilo, cosa que dejamos muy en claro, ya que simplemente somos portavoces de las cosas que han nacido en las reuniones a las que hemos sido invitados en el marco de apoyar, educar y formar al emprendedor de la región.

El encuentro ha sido productivo y para ser el inicio del club de emprendedores se haya corrido la voz y poder continuar con está dinámica en la que promovemos la adopción de Hive como ecosistema de web3 con herramientas útiles para el emprendedor y el uso del HBD como moneda de resguardo de valor.

Taller en el Coworking CETAM

El pasado sábado 24 de marzo realizamos un taller en el Coworking CETAM, en esta ocasión más allá de conocer Hive que ya muchos lo conocían por talleres previos (aunque no todos los asistentes) el enfoque fue más hacia la interacción con diferentes interfaces de usuario y enfocados en la creación de contenido y el pago con HBD.

Por lo que es preciso mencionar que todos los asistentes descargaron sus billeteras (Keychain) quienes aún no tenían cuenta en Hive se les creo su cuenta.

Al tener cada asistente la billetera descargada y ya asociada a su cuenta de Hive, nos evocamos a explorar y conocer algunas aplicaciones como InLeo, Liketu, V4V y Distriator. Luego destinamos un segmento del taller a la creación de contenido y que todos pudiesen salir con sus presentaciones publicadas.

Fue un día productivo además que con cada grupo de personas con la que compartimos mejoramos el speech sino que nos permitirnos una retroalimentación para evaluar y mejorar.
