I think we women live our lives full of emotions! When we wake up in the morning, there are times when we feel sad, melancholic, sensitive to any word said to us at home, on the street, or at work, without accepting that the most important criticism is the one we see in the mirror. As long as you're happy and feel that you're acting in a good way, that you care about others, keep going... Don't let anyone dim your light or lower your self-esteem.

We shared this time from 5:00 am with families and friends, filled with joy and anticipation of the arrival of our Savior Jesus Christ. It is a time of hope, reflection, and reconciliation.

Because we must examine our behavior towards others and refresh our character, becoming more thoughtful and generous, and most importantly, keeping God in our hearts.

El 30 de noviembre comenzó la primera misa de adviento en la iglesia de mi parroquia, nuestra señora de las Mercedes en Villa de Cura/ Estado Aragua. Me encantó el rostro de cada persona al prender la primera velita de su corona, en el transcurso de la misa, entre cantos y oraciones.. Sentí algo inexplicable, que solo Dios nos hace sentir, porque siempre lo pongo en práctica luego se lo transmito a los demás: mientras sientas esa paz interna podrás ver lo positivo en todo lo que hagas, y de esa manera será reflejado.

Conté con el apoyo de @Carmenrivas directora del coro de la iglesia y también con @Sayury además Zulai Sojo y Sor Montevideo. Al culminar la misa fisfrutamos de un rico refrigerio! Torta, polvorosa, hallaquitas de carne, chocolate y café. Gracias por su atención y mil bendiciones para todos.

Warm greetings to the entire community.

We trust that this start of the month finds you enjoying well-being.

On November 30th, the first Advent Mass began at my parish church, Our Lady of Mercy, in Villa de Cura, Aragua State. I loved seeing each person's face as they lit the first candle on their Advent wreath during the Mass, amidst the songs and prayers. I felt something inexplicable, something only God can make us feel, because I always put it into practice and then share it with others: as long as you feel that inner peace, you can see the positive in everything you do, and that's how it will be reflected.

I had the support of @Carmenrivas, the church choir director, as well as @Sayury, Zulai Sojo, and Sister Montevideo. After Mass, we enjoyed a delicious snack! Cake, polvorosa (a type of shortbread), hallacas (small corn tamales) with meat, hot chocolate, and coffee. Thank you for your attention, and many blessings to all.

This time, I chose this parranda (a traditional Venezuelan Christmas song) because only those of us from Villa de Cura feel our hearts race when we hear it. Everything it says—how the town was founded, the first inhabitants, even the houses that were built back then—I'm truly proud to be from Villa de Cura! That's why I sing it, I perform it with all my heart, with so much love and respect. We should all, from different places, value our town, our communities, our people, their cultures, and their customs. I say this with pride and love, blessings to all. In this performance, I was accompanied by several members of the choir from my church, Our Lady of Mercy, to add energy and complete the Venezuelan Power group, which includes @Orlandobello, @sayury, @elioe, @carmenrivas, and myself. We were rehearsing for the Christmas Masses and, at the same time, presenting this parranda to you.

The founder of the Villa de San Luis de Cura (now Villa de Cura) was a key figure in Venezuelan colonial history and a direct ancestor of the Liberator.

Y como yo no tenía instrumento, utilicé mi abanico como pandereta. Vivimos un momento de mucha alegría, ya que hasta los vecinos disfrutaron de nuestra música.

Les cuento un pequeño anécdota de esta canción, un día que nos tocó cantarla en la iglesia, nos dimos cuenta que el tambor no estaba allí, sino en casa de una vecina cercana a la iglesia, fuimos todos a tocar la puerta de manera rápida antes que comenzará la misa, tocábamos de manera discreta, ya que eran las 5:10 am, pero como ya pasaba el tiempo y la señora no salía, no nos quedó más alternativa que despertarla con el canto del burrito sabanero. Los vecinos que tenía la señora a mano derecha, salieron en pijamas y estaban super encantados con nosotros y nos apoyaban contando la parte del coro, pero los vecinos a mano izquierda, fue todo lo contrarío, nos repetian desde su casa que hiciéramos silencio, y nos amenazaban con llmar a la policía, porque lamentablemente a esa familia no le gustaba la Navidad, nos retiramos de allí porque la señora que tenía el tambor nunca salió, no se encontraba en casa.

Como ya faltaba poco para comenzar la misa, utilizamos el tobo de lavar coletos y los cuantos, se escucharon espectacular, y les voy a dar un pequeño consejo, debemos vivir en armonía, no solo en navidad, sino en todas las etapas de nuestras vidas, porque si no estamos reconciliados, con Dios, con nosotros mismos.. Mucho menos vamos a reflejar armonía, ante las demás personas.

Hello Hive friends! I hope you're all doing well. This time, I'm sharing part of the rehearsal for the Christmas novena masses we held on Wednesday, November 12th, at my house. The group consisted of: @carmenrivas, @elioe, @orlandobello, Coromoto Corrales (who belongs to the church group), and myself.

@carmenrivas played the cuatro and sang lead vocals.

@elioe played the maracas.

@orlandobello played the drum.

Coromoto Corrales played the charrasca.

And since I didn't have an instrument, I used my fan as a tambourine. We had a very joyful time, as even the neighbors enjoyed our music.

Let me tell you a little anecdote about this song. One day, when we were supposed to sing it at church, we realized the drum wasn't there, but at a neighbor's house near the church. We all went to knock quickly before Mass started, trying to be discreet since it was 5:10 a.m. But as time passed and the woman didn't come out, we had no choice but to wake her up with the song "El Burrito Sabanero" (The Little Donkey from the Savannah). The neighbors on the woman's right came out in their pajamas and were absolutely delighted with us, even helping us sing the chorus. But the neighbors on the left were the complete opposite. They kept telling us to be quiet from their house and threatened to call the police because, unfortunately, that family didn't like Christmas. We left because the woman who had the drum never came out; she wasn't home.

Since Mass was about to begin, we used the mop bucket and the cannoli. They sounded spectacular! And I'm going to give you a little advice: we must live in harmony, not only at Christmas, but in all stages of our lives, because if we are not reconciled with God, with ourselves... we will be even less likely to reflect harmony to others.
