Taking a time to do...whatever we want to, have a rest, reflect, climbing stuff, swimming here and there, relaxing, thinking a bit, listening to some good or bad music, it doesn't matter as long as we like and enjoy it, waste some time in whatever activitie we chose, watching a sunrise or sunset, ....woah, the list would be so long, so long that I wouldn't get to an end if I'd talk about what a vacation could mean. It would mean whatever we want it to mean. Yeah!!! Whatever. Cause that's what it's for. It's the time off we use in whatever we want or chose that provide us with the most satisfaction and relaxing sensations so we can'ñ say later...

That was a an awesome vacation that rebuilt me greatly just the way I wanted or/and needed.

That's what vacations are for, right?

But then there's also love, and forgive me for coming back to love everytime. Love is everywhere. There's no way to get away from it.

Sometimes many words are not the ones that carry the most meaning or the ones that bring more sincerity on them. Sometimes it's a few words that bring so much meaning to us, so much feelings, so much desire and so much intention.

That's what happens to me with this song I bring today from the german band Scorpions entitled Holiday.
It's a song with a few lyrics that, as I perceive it, carries much intention, deepness and desire from the singer to take a person to a holiday, from the perspective that it's the solution for some issues and hard stages.

There's also shown love and concerning to be helpful and supportive to contribute to someone-cared-about's well being through a proposition of an enjoyable far away holiday in this song that I find beautiful and sensitive.

Tomar un tiempo para hacer... lo que queramos, descansar, reflexionar, escalar cosas, nadar aquí y allá, relajarse, pensar un poco, escuchar música buena o mala, no importa mientras nos guste y la disfrutemos, enplear un tiempo en cualquier actividad que elijamos, ver un amanecer o puesta de sol, ....woah, la lista sería tan larga, tan larga que no tendria fin si hablara sobre lo que podrían significar unas vacaciones.
Significaría lo que queramos que signifique. si!!! lo que sea,porque para eso es el tiempo libre que usamos en lo que queramos o elijamos que nos brinde la mayor satisfacción y sensaciones relajantes, para que podamos decir más tarde...
Esas fueron unas vacaciones increíbles que me reconstruyeron mucho de la manera que quería y/o necesitaba.
Para eso están las vacaciones, ¿verdad?
Pero luego también está el amor, y perdón por volver al amor cada vez. El amor está en todas partes. No hay forma de alejarse de él.
A veces, muchas palabras no son las que tienen más significado o las que aportan más sinceridad. A veces son unas pocas palabras las que nos aportan tanto significado, tantos sentimientos, tanto deseo y tanta intención. Eso es lo que me pasa con esta canción que traigo hoy de la banda alemana Scorpions titulada Holiday. Es una canción con unas pocas letras que, como la percibo, lleva mucha intención, profundidad y deseo del cantante de llevar a una persona a unas vacaciones, desde la perspectiva de que es la solución para algunos problemas y etapas difíciles. También se muestra en esta canción, que encuentro hermosa y sensible, el amor y la preocupación por ser útil y solidario para contribuir al bienestar de alguien que quieres,a través de la propuesta de unas vacaciones agradables y lejanas.

I am an art lover in a general way, I believe that time, opportunities to interact with art, which have not been too many but although well-used, and my inclination towards it, have contributed to the fact that, rather than appreciate it, I live it, I taste it, it feels like it crosses me.

Yes, cause good art crosses you, it walks you through, shakes you, in any of its manifestations, and I think that the most beautiful thing is that they all can, in their own way, tell stories.

What do you say about 2 beautiful artistic expressions become one to tell experiences in a unique way? or 3?...or more?

That what happens to me with Ricardo and his music. He is the guy who, in addition to being a singer, songwriter and a good musician, is capable of drawing, through his music, his stories in my mind with overwhelming precision. Arjona is that guy who doesn't need more than a song for you to understand what he's telling you and singing. I think that the most accurate way I find of saying that his songs imprint in my mind the power of imagination that radio can give or also reading and the clarity of the images that are drawn, making up just the story that the author is telling you.

I could have chosen any of his songs, I know many, I don't dare to sing all of them though, but they are all well-told and sung stories. Ella sabe(She knows) is one of the songs that I like and enjoy a lot, in which Ricardo Arjona again draws in a peculiar but precise way the figure and image of that woman with white skin, beautiful curves and light and sensual clothing, as well as highlighting important details that make them at the end of the song, ensure a beautiful drawing formed from the first stanza of their lyrics. That is why I considered that this would be a perfect song for this week's theme, which I also hope you can enjoy as I did when performing it, always apologizing for any technical deficiency you can find in it.

It's inevitable my dear friends and as I say hello to you this week and express how glad I am to be here again after a close fight against Dengue, I underline it is inevitable to start talking about love once again to stick, from my point of view, to the topic of this week.

There are powerful ways of physical expression for love and though they might all be mighty ones, a hug is one that carries so much support, protection, afection, peace, shelter and some more. The hug gives and return at the same time, when it starts it doesn't matter who came first, in thet moment all that stops mattering and both in the hug are equally givers and recievers, the same warmth, the comfort. Everyone takes what it's needed in a huge long hug.

A hug can do so much good. It can tell you with no words I'm here for you, you're not alone, you can always lean on me. No matter the kind of love it carries, a hug is always welcome.

In this beautiful song I see so many needs for a hug loaded with healing love.
When a person is offering love in so many ways(hugs included) to make a loved one in suffering feel better, as Adele does here, in Make you feel my love, that person is in need of love and a hug as well.

Cause the one who really loves suffers with the beloved suffering and offering a warm embrace....also means.... hug me, I need it, because in our hug, every pain will go away and we both are gonna get from it what we need, so, Hug me, to make you feel my love.

El tema de esta semana 37 me sorprendió y agradó muchisimo, ya que la música de las decadas de los 30 y 40 fue la que mis padres escucharon en su temprana juventud y que tanto referenciaban por su calidad.

La música no tiene fronteras ni tiempo y cada década tiene un sello y encanto especiales representados por hermosas creaciones musicales. Con estas dos no es diferente y después de tanto pensar para elegir me decanté por esta hermosa y pegajosa canción de Bobby Darin, "Dream Lover", un tema que muchos conocemos y escuchamos, aunque se haya hecho popular hace tantos años, cuando aún no habíamos nacido.

This week's 37th theme surprised and pleased me greatly, as the music of the 30s and 40s was what my parents listened to in their early youth and which they so admired for its quality.
Music knows no boundaries or time, and each decade has a special stamp and charm represented by beautiful musical creations. It's no different with these two, and after much thought before choosing, I settled on this beautiful and catchy song by Bobby Darin, "Dream Lover", a song that many of us know and listen to, even though it became popular many years back, before we were even born.

This week I'm bringing you a song I consider among the classics. Sweet dreams from Air Supply. This is a Soft Rock Australian duet conformed in 1975, by the English Graham Russel and the Australian Russel Hitchcock in Melbourne. I've loved their music for so long since they were one of the very first I used to listen many years ago when I started to be interested in music in english. They very popular at the 80s with some beautiful themes as All out of love, Lost in Love and Making Love out of both8ng at all among others. This one I'll perform for you today is very special to me since I feel identified with its lyrics and though it's a difficult song for me to sing I dared to give it a shot.

Hello communiy.

When it comes to love as powerful as it is and if a ranking should be made between its shapes or ways, I guess mother's love for her child get to be the greatest, strongest, deepest and foreverest. I know forever it self would be enough but since the love of a mother is so unic the classifying word for infinite and beyond had to be unic as well (or magnified out of invention, don't even know if it exist that way I wrote it).

Conceiving, shaping and raising a child since fetus as miraculous as it is (being natural doesn't make it less miraculous) give birth to a sort of love only mothers can feel and provide and that grows stronger everyday on until a mother stops existing.

It is a love that never gets old no matter how many years it lives and that hugeness it gets embrace us daughters and sons in a beatiful and profound way that place within ourselves perception that tender and lovely lady (our mom) over the highest of the spots ever.

That's why mom is the greatest, she is our safe and warm place, our shoulder to lean on, our tears dryer, our advicer, our best girl friend, our joy, our greatest reward from life. A mother's everything for us as we're for her, the light that never goes down.

This song has traveled with me in my heart and soul for many years, I find it a beautiful and touching song that shakes me everytime and reflects briefly but profoundly what a mother is.

The song itself is a gift from the singer and daughter through thankfulness , not from someone who feels in debt, but who values the greatness of a mother and recognize the true value of the world a mother delivers through out love, support, loyalty, concern, tenderness, comprehension and back up no matter what and she expresses in the song the firm Intention to stand by her mother to give as much love as recieved till the last someday good bye.

It was hard for me to perform it I must admit, it touches me too deep and sometimes pull tears out of my eyes cause of emotion and nostalgy, I'm a bit sensitive in those matters.

Last Sunday was celebrated in my country the mother's day, my mom's no longer around, she liked this song very much and she was the greatest as all moms are. When she left I couldn't say good bye to her so, today I'll be performing for you and for my mom Good bye's tye saddest word from Celine Dion.

Nervs and emotions got in the way, as well a strong flu, but I did it anyway with lots of love for every mother in the globe and my very own.

I hope this be up to the topic of the week and that you guys like it and maybe sing it to mom as a gift as well.

What a better gift to a mother than feeling the deep love of her beloved childs turned in to good and loving grown ups right?

Love is profound, love is life,love is metaphors, beauty,suffering,happiness, struggle, peacefulness.Love is also a language not everyone can understand is a language you don't study and are lucky if you're chosen to learn it, to speak it, to translate it,...to read it between any line.

Love is a way of expression as music is and in reverse music is also love and all its meanings, therefore music and love are forever melted. Every piece of music carries love in it, in any of its possible shapes, it is in there and will always be, norhing and no one can change that.

This song ain't an exception, it doesn't matter if it's through or to the rain when it comes to the fire of love blanding music as a way of expressing its deepness, its magnitude, its reach...the way it spreads through and into you and leads you to turn into poetry your words not being a poet, to turn into crazyness you sanity with wide opened arms to gladly embrace it and let it be.

That's love, that's music, ..a bunch of sensations mixed in the air like rain drops falling over you, watering you desert to flowers bloooming and coloring your blacks and whites, sunning your darkness, oxygening your breathe lack.

I love this song I'm covering today in a different way from the original but with the same profound love message and passion , with a touch of acoustic fun but still watered with all the love that blooms through the rain of beauty that falls over those chosen ones to understand and spread the language of love.

Last saturday a girl friend of Hive, @adaluna, shared in her #saturdayselections post, among others, a beautiful cover by Lusaint of this song I'm bringing today. After listening to it for the first time it hooked me and as I usually do, I looked for it to download, that's when I found also a beutiful cover made by London Grammar that hooked me even more. I was falling in love with the song, its melody, its sofness and its deepness.

El pasado sábado una amiga de Hive, @adaluna, compartió en su post de #saturdayselections, entre otras, un hermoso cover hecho por Lusaint de esta canción que hoy les traigo. Después de escucharla por primera vez me enganchó y como normalmente hago la busqué para descargarla, fue ahí cuando encontré otro cover precioso hecho por London Grammar que me enganchó aún más. Me estaba enamorando de la canción, de su melodía, de su suavidad y su profundidad.

I didn't even think a could make an attemt to sing it till I found the original by Chris Isaak and some piano versions that could suit me for an attempt.
I find this a beautiful song that moves me so much, and that's why I am here, risking a bit(or a lot) to perform it for you, cause I enjoyed it a lot recording this video an making this song for week 34.

Separation, in any case, is always painful, something we're usually never prepared for, and it requires a lot of strength to move forward.

Separating from your partner, from the person you love, is no exception, but especially when it comes to a marriage with children. In most cases, it's the man who leaves the woman behind with one or more children, which is a difficult situation on both sides: the love that generates suffering due to the separation and raising the children without their father present.

This also happens with men. I know a friend who has two children and lives alone with them because his mother went abroad and didn't want to have anything more to do with either of them, neither her children nor her husband.

This song is written by and for a woman, which is why I substituted "she" for "he" in the lyrics, interpreting it from the perspective of a man suffering this type of separation, left alone with his two children, trying to overcome it while simultaneously pleading for the return of his loved one. Something that requires strength.

La separación en cualquiera de los casos es siempre algo doloroso para lo que, por lo general nunca estamos preparados y que demanda mucha fuerza para poder continuar adelante.
La separación de tu pareja, de la persona que amas, no es la excepción, pero sobre todo cuando se trata de un matrimonio que tiene hijos. En la mayoria de los casos sucede que es el hombre quien deja atrás a la mujer con uno o varios hijos, lo que es una situación difícil en ambos sentidos, el amor que genera sufrimiento a causa de la separación y la crianza de los niños sin la presencia de su papá.
Tambien sucede con los hombres, conozca un amigo que tiene 2 hijos y vive solo con ellos porque su mamá se fue al extranjero y no quiso saber nada más de ninguno, ni de sus hijos, ni del esposo.
Esta canción esta hecha por y para una mujer, por eso en la letra sustituí los ella por él al interpretarla desde la posición de un hombre que sufre este tipo de separación, quedando en soledad con sus 2 hijos, intentando superarlo y a la vez suplicando por el regreso de su ser amado. Algo para lo que se necesita ser mas fuerte.

Hola a todos los amigos que confluyen por acá a disfrutar de la música y el talento.

Está semana 33 viene con el reto de interpretar una canción en un idioma distinto a nuestro idioma natal . Yo soy cubano y hablo español, por lo que estaré interpretando un bonito tema de Adele, titulado "Make you feel my love". Está es una canción de amor que me gusta mucho, en la que la intérprete expresa de una manera sencilla pero profunda el significado que para ella tiene la persona que ama y todo lo que sería capaz de hacer para poder transmitir de la manera que quiere que sea percibida por el ser amado la magnitud de su sentimiento.

¿Cuántos no se han enamorado y expresan sus sentimientos a través de la música?, ya sea mediante la creación e interpretación o dedicando al ser amado alguna canción con un significado especial en el que nos vemos reflejados. ¿Cuántos quisiéramos poder expresar todo lo que sentimos a través de la creación musical que es un modo de expresión universal?

Creo que hacerlo de cualquiera que las maneras es hermoso y si está involucrada la música de una u otra forma es doblemente hermoso.

Está modesta interpretación que hoy les traigo quiero dedicarla a mi esposa a quien amo profundamente y lo sabe, pero, aunque lo expreso de diversas maneras a diario, creo que está es una bonita y diferente manera de hacerlo frente al mundo que se da cita cada semana en esta comunidad.

Espero mi interpretación sea de su agrado.

We all are continuously surviving one way or another since we started the journey of life. Every decision, every turn, every detour. It is a journey without other itinerary but the one to that place we spot in the horizon and go building with our own hands,sweat, dreams and wishes towards to it.

It's only one chance what we have, it’s only one journey that we are making, alone or not, sticked to what's right or not, most of the times it's our choice to make. Who's gonna join us in the journey and what codes are we gonna follow, which are gonna be our priorities and what's gonna be the speed in certain sections of the path. But there's no chance for another journey, this is it, take it or take it...or...leave it.

It's our responsibility to choose who are we gonna trust, with whom is it we are going to share this or that, what we will carry and what will be left behind.

Nobody else to blame for mistaken actions, just us, it's up to us if it's a worthy journey in the end, if we were able to recognize love when spotted and fight for it without any fear, to win or to lose, but to end up with no regrets or sensations that you could had done more to get your happiness but the satisfaction you knew it and enjoyed it deeply or at least fought hard enough for that. Anyway, it's us who set priorities and decide if time of our lives is gonna be spent or wasted.

Passenger is an amazing artist(entirely my appreciation, like and opinion), I love his music and the way he can transmit and get to the audience.

The first time I heard him, some years ago,it was a song entitled "Let her go" that my niece brought in a playlist she had in her phone, so, as I usually do when hear something I like, I looked for more and found more.

Survivor trapped me quickly when I got to listen to it , I found it a beautiful and deep song, and it has accompanied me always ever since.It is a song from the album entitled Runaway, that's the ninth studio album by this English singer-songwriter. It was released on 31 August 2018 on Black Crow Records.The album peaked at number 6 on the UK Albums Chart.

What I wrote up there in the post might be the way I see the song and might be not, guess those are only a couple of my thoughts about life it self. I think the song carries much more and its meaning can grow as ears can listen and minds can build their own meanings and interpretations beyond the author's and different to the ones before and after. Guess that's the beauty of music and good writing, they both together or not can make our minds travel anywhere.

Hello dear friends of @Vibes, it is a real pleasure to be here again where I have a lot of fun and also have the chance to listen to very good music performed by true quality artists.

This week I bring you a song entitled Loving Arms from the American country-pop group formerly called Dixie Chicks.

This is a beautiful song about love and nostalgia, from the album Wide Open Spaces, an album that came into my hands several years ago by chance and that I loved when I heard it, I really liked the style of this group, songs like the one that gives title to the album and others like "You were mine", "am I the only one (who's ever felt this way)" and the one I am going to perform, were my favorites.

This group, which is currently called The Chicks, is formed by Natalie Maines and the sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robison. It is the second female band that has sold the most records, regardless of musical genre (after the group Destiny's Child), with 36 million albums since June 2006.

As I already mentioned, "Lovin' Arms" is a song that reflects nostalgia from love, the desire to have the loved one by your side and at the same time a bit of regret for past decisions that, as I interpret it, were made from priorities that at the time seemed right and desired but that really were not though.
It is longing made into a country ballad because that person, whom we love so much and who perhaps we voluntarily pushed away with our way of acting, could see us in the present after many transformations, personal growth, solidification and objectification of priorities,... after realizing that in fact we did want the same things for a future together. It reflects the deep desire to banish loneliness and give oneself completely to that person who once, perhaps, was the only thing one asked for and walked away when not getting it.

In any case, it is my interpretation of the song, here I will leave the lyrics, of course along with the original song, and perhaps, who knows?, you friends might have another interpretation of this theme that I'm performing with much love, respect and knowledge that I am just a daring person who likes to be and participate in the initiatives of this community.
