I made it yesterday, my van did a good job. There were no warning lights, but the engine still ran a bit warm. It's just not built for mountains during a heat wave. On the road I saw temperatures of 38 degrees celsius and that was at 9 o'clock in de evening.

But here in this spot, next to the river, it was very nice. I even got a bit cold last night. Today I srive further towards the coast. The temperatures are a little bit better here. 32 today, so that is doable. Tonight, it is going to be 16 celsius. I can't wait for that.

we spent new years eve on a nature camping in the forest with some friends. it was a fireworks free campsite for people and doggies who don't like fireworks. we had a nice campfire, nice foods and drinks.

I do love to g out in the early mornings! And during a good sunrise like this, I am the happyest!
These fields are near the village of Hilversum in the Netherlands! Every september these fields are getting totaly purple and that is stunning to see!
This clip is a but older, last year, du to the drought, there almost was nog color here! Many plants had died out!

But this year hopefully wil be different again! It has raind a lot last couple of months,
so this septmber probbebly is going to be perfect purple!

When I got my drone op in the sky, the views was stunning! Fog was haning in the vally and that was an awesome sight!
After a while the sun vcame truog the fog and the sunrays blasted truogh hthe trees!

It was a beautiful morning!

I wanted to see how it looks to fly inbetween the trees! And than Autumn is the best time to true that! The colors and the less dense treetops makes it a bit less challenging to fly in the treetops! But still I almost crashed my drone! That's at the end of the clip! I was standing on a little inclimb and the drone doesn't see that!

A beautiful layer of fog is hanging above the farmland, next to the city of Utrecht! I tried to fly a bit of time-laps as you can see in the first clip! It's almost if the fog is a puddle of water! Waves are rolling over the land! It's beautiful!

I have never seen it like this before! And then when the sun came up! What a color that was! And the shades of the trees! Just WOW!

In this video I show you the longest bridge i the Netherlands, the Zeelandbridge is 5km long! Some vilages and the coast line! Along with some touristic atractions!
Video editing is,nt my strongest point but I am learning!

I'm starting this post with a video. During the lunch, two wild goats were climbing the mountains in front of us. That was an awesome sight.

Spring is slowly starting here in the mountains!

look at these beautiful cacti!

We also took a tour trough some olive tree fields! The views from here were amazing!

And I saw faces in the mountains! Dou you see him? It reminds me of th eeaster island statues!

My car is a 2.4 diesel from 1992 and it weighs about 2000 kilo when it's empty. And me, coming from one of the flattest countries on earth, mountains are a thing. And when I saw this road coming up, I really needed to take this video. We didn't get up there quickly, but it was a beautiful ride.

Luckily my engine didn't overheat
After this mountain, we stopped at a little river

And the trees here are full of moss, I think they call it beards moss! A nice sign of clear and clean air up here!
