• The light is brought by our Lord Jesus Christ because he said 'I am the light'
• In reality, there are people who choose darkness. It is important to know our choices and what we believe in. John 3:19
• For us to leave darkness, we should follow Jesus Christ. John 8:12
• We need to know what are his Commandments we need to follow in order for us to leave the darkness for the light.
• Those who follow Christ should be advocate of peace and holiness which is the obedient to our Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrew 12:14
• If we want to be in the light we will not separate from one another. That is why we have to help one another so that we can stay as one.
• We should do good in whatever way we can. Even if they speak evil against us, we should still do good. Galatians 6:10
• Nothing can possibly separate us from God if we love God and if He love us.
• God did not intend for men to be doing some things like taking hard drug.
• It is not honour for man to be drunkard. All drunkers are shameless.
• If you want God to love you, help a brother. God loves a cheerful giver.

I was so nice listening to the service today again and as usual there are many things I learned which improved on my previous believe. The one I will like to talk about here is about alcohol. There used to be a saying which I believed that a little alcohol is good for the body but listening to the program I was able to learn a new thing about the new research which found that alcohol actually has no benefit for the body.

I was again touch by the video shown of a boy going round to food sellers wanting to buy food and not having money. The food sellers were so good to him and that again thought me a way to be doing good.

• If we don't want to be foolish, we must understand the will of God and his righteousness. Ephesians 5:17
• Santification has something to do with obeying his Commandments. For us to be satisfied, we have to obey the law.
• We should know that God is not the author of confusion but of peace. So he did not want us to be chaotic.
• The devil is the one always injecting chaos.
• We have to love one another. We should do good to all and not do evil.

During the teaching I got to know that we should not be thinking too highly of ourselves as we normally do because we think we are smart, intelligent and knowledgeable but the teaching has made me know that we need to submit our mind to God.

Today's study has helped me to be better person as a video was shown of a man on the wheelchair who needed help and I saw different people stopping by to help him. This taught me to be a good person by helping others in need

• There is something we are going to imitate in Christ because there are examples we are going to learn from Jesus Christ. The things he did, his doctrines and so on. 1 Peter 2:21
• Jesus says he does not do things for himself. So we need to do as he says. John 12:49
• We need to change from our evil ways and see the way Christ want us to live
• We should be influenced by the doctrine of Jesus Christ taught by the word of God.
• The benefit of doing good include living long and being healthy
• When you love your enemies, you are going to enjoy it on the judgment day. So loving your enemies is preparing for the future

In the teaching of the day, I got to understand that not everything we see in the Bible is what we should do. Some things are just there as examples and warning for us and we should not do them. For example, many people use to talk about many great men in the Bible who had more than one wife and see nothing wrong in marrying more than one wife but failed to see the warnings of the danger in marrying more than one wife which is the lesson that God want us to learn.

Today's study has affected me in many ways.
I was so touched when I saw the video of the social experiment where a woman was going round to ask people to sell to her at a reduced price and many people sold to her without even collecting money. I was so touched by this and made up my mind to imitate this.

• John 7:17
  The doctrine brings the spirit.
• We need to find out if the spirit comes from God. And for us to know this, we need to know the doctrine.
• There is a way to use the word wrongly. Even if the word is right and it is not used rightly, it is not good. Proverb 25:11
• For the world to be good, it has to be used well.
• 1 Timothy 1:8 The word is good if it is used lawfully. So there is a right application of the law.
• If you are of God, you will listen. And as a matter of fact, it is so difficult to invite people to listen to the word of God than to listen to other things.
• If someone is not doing righteousness he is not of God, no matter who he is.
• If you are not loving your brother, you are not a child of God.
• John 13:34-35. No matter what you say, even if you are the best but you don't love one another, you are not a child of God.
• Whosoever that does not love his brother is not doing righteousness and is not of God
• Romans 10:3. We should understand that there is righteousness of God and there is righteousness of man. So we should find out if our righteousness the righteousness of God or righteousness of man.
• Philippian 3:9 Righteousness from God is righteousness by faith in God.
• Matthew 5:46. We should love not only people that love us.
• We are not to do something for men to be pleased with us.
• Everything we do, whether good or evil, will be brought in judgment. So we should do everything we do in love.
• 1 Peter 3:9. We should not render evil for evil. The doctrine in the Bible teaches us not to render evil for evil.
• Galatians 6:10. The Bible ask us to do good to all.

It was formally believed that using a good word is enough but through this teaching, I now understand that a good word is not enough but it has to be used in the right way and manner. A word should be used lawfully according to the word of God.

Today's study has affected me in many ways.
I now know that to find the true spirit, we need to learn the true doctrine. Also, I learnt that there is different between the righteousness of God and righteousness of man and we must always seek the righteousness of God.
The study has also made me a better person by knowing that we should love and show kindness to all people and not only our brothers or only the people that love us.

Some of the important points learned from the words of God discussed in the Zoom meeting are:

Change starts by baptism, when God forgives our sins.

Titus 3:5

The washing signifies baptism. Baptism is the washing away of sin. The true baptism is the baptism taught by Jesus Christ.

Ezra 7:23

All the commandments should be done in the house of God.
The doctrine of God or the law of God has no effect outside the jurisdiction of where God commanded them to happen.
The obedience to God is done in the house of God.

1 Timothy 3:15

The law is in the house of God.
The house of God is the church of God. So if baptism is a command of God, it should be done in the church of God and not a place built by human.

Matthew 28:19

When the word in the name of Jesus Christ is used, it means in the teaching of Jesus Christ.
Where will the baptism be held? It will be held in the name of the father. Not baptizing them by the name of the father. It is in the name of the father.
So that is a place to hold baptism.
The name of God is in the house of God, which in the church of God.

2 Chronicles 7:16

There is a house that cannot be destroyed by men, and his name will be there forever.
So you will receive baptism in the house of God, where his name is.

1 Corinthians 12:13

Baptism is done into one body. The body where baptism is done is the church and He is the head of the body.
There is only one body

Colossians 1:18

The church is the one body. In the church, which is the one body is where the spirit flows.
There is one Lord, which is Jesus. There is one faith and one baptism.
Are you baptized in the name of God or by the name of God?
You are to look for where the name of God is, that is where to be baptized.
We should be baptized under the jurisdiction of the name of God.
Christ is the head of the house of God.

1 Corinthians, 3:16

The spirit of God is in the people who are in the house of God.
Their discipline in the church, which is house of God.

It was believed that baptism can be done anywhere and anytime but is now clear that the real baptism is only done in the house of God which is the church of God. It is done in the name of the Father as it was taught by our Lord Jesus Christ.

The teaching helped us to understand what true baptism is and as we all know, many people claimed to have been baptized but what they did was not baptism and need to do the right thing. We need to alway obey the commandment of God and we must obey it in whole. Baptism is a commandment from God and we must do it rightly by doing it in the church of God.

For the past 10 months now, we all have been claiming LARYNX monthly and it just remain 2 months to claim. LARYNX is a Miner Token that can be used to mine SPK, the governance token of the spknetwork.

The SPK token has gone live since August 2022 but unfortunately many people that have LARYNX Token have not been earning SPK including myself. One have to power up these LARYNX Token to LARYNX Power to earn SPK.

I just power up mine and I'm here to inform others that that are yes to take the advantage to do so by showing step-by-step procedures of how to do so.

Below is the step-by-step guide to how to Power up and delegate your LARYNX Token;

• The first thing to do is to log into https://vue.dlux.io/me#wallet/

• Go to your wallet by clicking wallet in between blog and inventory

• Click on SPK in between DLUX and HIVE

• Scroll down till you get to LARYNX Token. That is where you will see the total number of LARYNX Token you have. In my case, my total LARYNX is 2,562.448 LARYNX

• Click on the drop down arrow beside send to drop down option to power up

• Click on Power Up

• In the dialog box that pops up, type in the number of LARYNX you intend to power up. In my case, I typed in 2,562. Then click continue.

• Confirm the operation

• Once the operation has been confirmed, you will see the exact number of token you powered up deducted from your LARYNX Token and added to your LARYNX Power. Now to delegate to a node operator, you will have to click on delegate

• Select a node operator you intend to delegate to and the amount you intend to delegate. You can find the list of node operators here

• In my case I delegated to @good-karma.spk and delegated 2,562 LARYNX. Click confirm

• Confirm the operation

• Once the operation is confirmed, you see the LARYNX delegated deducted from LP (LARYNX Power) and moved to DLP (Delegated LARYNX Power)

Once you are done with these procedures, you can now earn SPK token.

Note that if you only power up without delegating, you will only earn SPK tokens at 0.010% but if you also delegate to a node operator, you and the node operator will earn at 0.015%.

Also note that you can alway power down at anytime and it will take 4 weeks for total power down.

This is the choir unit of the church. I belong to the choir unit and we live like a family. At the end of the year, we took time out for a get together for us to relax, enjoy ourselves, evaluate and discuss on how to improve ourselves.

It was indeed time of enjoyment as there was a lot to eat and drink. We also took time out to dance to beautiful music.

While evaluating our performance for year 2022, we were able to highlight the things we did right and the things we need to improve on. We told ourselves the truth and the need for us to do well in the year 2023.

We also set out some rules and regulations to make us better and to improve us as to go in 2023.

Our adviser was also around at the get together with us and we were so happy to have her around. She shared with us the word of God and also gave us some advice.

As we all know, music ministry is one of the important ministries in the church, reason why the church choir needs to work together as one and always work to improve on the department.

For the year 2023,we have highlighted a lot of programs for the choir, which include quarterly retreat, prayer anf fasting and so on. We have also fixed 2 times rehearsals every week. Part of what we discussed was that every member should learn to play one instrument or more.

In short, it was a nice time together and we enjoyed ourselves.

Listening to music helps me a lot. When I'm down, I listen to music to lift up my soul. Music helps me to focus on whatever I'm doing. Whenever I'm feeling weak, music gives me energy to carry on. In fact music helps me in a lot of ways.

I have different music apps I use but my favorite is Boomplay. In this post, I'm here to do a recap of my Boomplay activity (stat) for the year 2022.

I signed up on Boomplay on 23rd February, 2021. Which means up till the day the stat was released, I've spent 616 days using Boomplay.

The first song I listened to this year (2022) was "Ride", a track from Laycon’s Album titled "I Am Laycon". Compared to last year, the first song I listened to was Gomey's Interlude on Laycon’s Young Black And Gifted (YBAG) album. Don't mind me, I'm a fan of Laycon as you will see as we proceed.

In total, I listened to 19,528 songs and my total playing time was 52,726 minutes (that is like 3,163,560 seconds or 878.77 hours or 36.6 days). That is far more that 2021 where I listened to a total of 3,923 songs which made up to 196.5 hours.

I out-done 90% of Boomplay user which means I'm among the top 10% listeners or users of Boomplay. Out of about 75 million liters, I'm among the top 7.5 million. That is an improvement from 2021 where I only made it to the top 18%.

My favorite song for the year was song titled "New Dimension" by Laycon ft Made Kuti.

My second favorite song was song titled "2000" also by Laycon ft Toby Shank

My third favorite was "I'm broke (remix)" by Clevatee ft Laycon

My top 3 songs has Laycon on them. This is to tell you how much I love the guy.

Though Laycon was my favorite and I listened to his music the most, I also listened to other artists and I listened to a total of 588 different artists out of which 524 are new.

Comparing 2022 with 2021, my favorite artist for both years is Laycon but I listened to Laycon more this year. I played Laycon's songs 11,969 times this year compared to 3,445 times I played his songs last year.

I listened to all genres of music but I listened to more of Hip Hop & Rap, followed by Blues, Afrobeat and so on.

The word that appears most in the songs I listened to was Love. Who does not love love 😍.

I mostly play music in the afternoon. This is to boost and energize me when I'm getting week and bored and to make work go smoothly.

The day I listened to music on Boomplay the most was 25th of May. On this day, I listened to over 850 minutes of music. That is like 14 hours of playing music. Wow 😲
Out of this 850 minutes I listen to the song "2000" by Laycon ft Toby Shank for 748 minutes. I could remember, it was the time the song was released and I was just in love with the song.

I only posted 1 comment this year and the comment was on my favorite song.

When you love something, you will want to enjoy it to the fullest by subscribing the premium package. On Boomplay, I subscribed to the premium plan for 236 days and enjoyed a total of 20,187 Premium songs. I enjoy more premium plan than last year where I only subscribe for 25 days and enjoyed only 291 songs.

This year I also contributed additional 325% to my favorite artist's royalties. As we all know, artist get royalties on their songs as they are been listened to. I'm happy to contribute this must to my favorite artists.

• When we pray, we should avoid repetition.
• Prayer should not be done to show off like the hypocrites.
• If a woman is praying, should have a covering on her head and if a man prays, his head should have no covering.
• God will listen to us more if we are doing what He asked us to do and acting according to His words.
• The head of a man represents Christ. The head of a woman represents her husband. Putting covering on the woman's head is submitting to God. It means her husband is under the authority of God.

From the teaching, we were made to understand that when praying, we should avoid repetition. Many Christians today pray in a repetitive manner, even some doctrines preach repetitive prayer. But as we have seen, Jesus Christ asked is to avoid repetitive prayers.

From the teaching, we were told not to be like the hypocrites who pray to show off. The whole world must not know that we are praying.

Already, preparetions have stated as all the political parties have already selected their candidates to these different positions and the citizens also are preparing to vote.

In view of these, I belong to a NGO - AIDE Initiative, and we carried out a survey and a sensitization activity to know people's opinions and to sensitize them about the coming election on how important it is to get the voters card and to go out to vote on the day of election.

During the survey and sensitization, we visited the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Area 10, Abuja. Unfortunately, what we met there was not pleasant because the officials refused to attend to the people that day which made them angry and there was riot which needed the intervention of the police.

I took my time to interview some persons which included a Nigerian actress and musician. I also captured some moments of rioting on video which are all in this video.

The pictures are myself and my crew that carried out the activity.

I hope and pray that we will get it right this time around as a nation.

• Joining the church of God is a commandment of God. So, we should join the church of God.
• If you reject the word of Christ, it means you are rejecting Him. You can't say you accept Christ when you reject His church.
• The gentiles are also fellow heirs of the body. The body is the church and we must be members of the body.
• If you accept the gospel, you have become a member of the body.
• For us to become members we should know the doctrines
• The gospel is the doctrine. The way we do everything including eating, walking, relating with others, how to where clothes, etc should be in accordance to the gospel.
• Another doctrine of God is for us to sing psalms to God. In the Bible, singing to God is a commandment.

My former beliefs or expectation that was improved for listening at the Zoom meeting

We were made to understand that one have to accept the doctrine before joining the church. It is not only enough to raise one's hand up but it is important to accept the doctrine.

Ways in which the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives

In the teaching, we were made to understand that there is doctrine for everything. How we talk, what we eat, what we wear, how we relate to others and so on.

Some of the important points learned from the words of God discussed in the Zoom meeting are:

• 1 Timothy 6:3
  We are in the Christian dispensation and we need to listen to the doctrine of Christ. The time of Moses and the prophets have gone
• Matthew 17:5
  If we are going to listen to doctrine, II should be the doctrine of Christ. The problem this days is that people listen to different doctrines.
• In the early Christian community, they recognize the only master who is Jesus Christ. He is the only master and the teacher. We should not allow buddah or any other person to teach us. Jesus is the only teacher appointed by God for us.
• Mark 7:7
  No matter what we give, maybe money, time, etc, if we are not following the doctrine of God, all those things we give or sacrifice are in vain.
• Matthew 28:19-20
  The first thing we would do after examining the doctrine is baptism.
• If something is not written in the Bible, do not accept it. All the doctrine of Christ are in the Bible.
• The first doctrine is baptism. When Paul converted from Judaism to Christianity, the first thing he did was baptism.
• Ephesians 3:6
  We need to be members of the body of Christ to be a fellow heir. It means we cannot reject the church.
• John 12:48
  If you say you receive christ and reject his word, it means you reject christ. Receiving christ is receiving his word and part of his word is joining church. Joining the church is one of the doctrine of Christ.
• Ecclesiastice 7:27
  We need to compare one thing to another to know that which is true.
• Before we can become a member of the church, we need to be baptised and before we are baptised, we need to hear and receive the word.

Many people believe that to be a member of the church is not important, even many so call men of God do preach it. Fro the indoctrination teaching we learned that is is one of the doctrines to be a member of the church. The church is the body of Christ and we need to be a member of the body of Christ.

Ways in which the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives

From the teaching, we have leant that if we do not follow the doctrines of Christ, every other things we do are in vain. So as we go on in our daily lives we need to follow the doctrines of God.
