What did I talk about on this test stream? I showed everyone what I spent my Saturday night doing. Going through the dApps and tools on Hive.io/eco. I do wonder if there is a way to have all of the defunct dApps/tools moved to an archive/cemetary/memorial garden page. This would declutter the active dApps and tools area and keep folks from going through all of the blank results as can be seen in this video.

Once September rolls around my focus shifts to National Podcast Post Month. Getting the FB group back into active mode from its year long dormant state. Updating the headers. Can you believe this year marks 17 years of the global 30-day challenge?

Dusting off the #NaPodPoMo hashtag on all the socials. Reactivating the NaPodPoMo Community here on Hive and of course creating promotional content to get the word out.

Which brings us to the video at the start of this post. I've made quite a few of these over the years. So it's nice to be able to remix some of these to make them fresh and new. I'll be in the studio to record and livestream in the coming days to remind folks that November is fast approaching and now is the time to begin prep work for the NaPodPoMo.

NOTE: One of the core pieces to introducing more people to Web3, blockchain, and more importantly Hive is to create content on Web2's traditional social media platforms. I consider myself a Web3 Evangelist because once I understood what Hive had to offer me as a creator, I began sharing what I had learned with the people I know on places like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. But as we all know, it's a long-tail proposition to evangelize for Hive. So, I continue creating content, hosting Twitter Spaces, Wisdom shows, LinkedIn Live (audio/video), hosting Web3 & Social Media for Creators workshops, and more recently three-day virtual events.

Why?

Because repetition in however many forms it takes is what I have discovered is key to awareness. We all have to keep repeating why what we have found on Hive is something content creators should take a serious look at. Perhaps you have also been trying to evangelize to people you know and they just don't get it. Well, I think by pulling our various evangelism methods together we can leverage our collective knowledge and outreach in a more meaningful way.
