Lucero es una gatita Calicó, popularmente conocidas como gatitas tricolor. La gran mayoría de estos gatos son hembras, es muy raro encontrar ejemplares machos por una cuestión cromosómica, o sea, necesitan heredar dos cromosomas X con las variantes de color naranja para que suceda.

Lucero es una gatita muy curiosa, juguetona, excelente cazadora y muy malcriada. Tiene un ritual en las mañanas y es que espera pacientemente que me despierte para pegarse de mi oreja (soy afortunada, no me despierta jajaja), cuando termina con una pasa a la otra. Sin embargo, eso no es suficiente para ella, lo hace 3 veces al día, pero, si fuera por ella lo haría a cada rato.

Lucero is a very curious kitty, playful, excellent hunter and very spoiled. She has a ritual in the mornings and she waits patiently for me to wake up to stick to my ear (I'm lucky, she doesn't wake me up hahaha), when she finishes with one she moves on to the other. Kimba es un Snowshoe, tiene 5 añitos y es el gato de mi suegra. Podría decirse que es un gato de adorno jaja, pasa el día durmiendo y cuando no lo hace es porque está comiendo.
Kimba is a Snowshoe, he is 5 years old and he is my mother-in-law's cat. You could say he is an ornament cat haha, he spends the day sleeping and when he doesn't sleep it's because he is eating.




Se lleva bien con lucero, cuando es hora de comer espera a que ella comience para irse a su respectivo plato. Es un gatito muy consentido y adorable.
He gets along well with Lucero, when it's time to eat he waits for her to start to go to his respective dish. He is a very spoiled and adorable kitty.

En estos días la temperatura ha estado elevada, unos 34ºC con sensación de calor de 40ºC y Kimba al igual que nosotros ha estado sofocado por lo que decidimos darle un baño y como tenía unos meses sin bañarse, aprovechamos.

Al principio estuvo tranquilo hasta que empezó a perder la paciencia, y cuando escucho la voz de su mamá, bueno… en ese momento enloqueció un poco jaja.

Para no demorar tanto bañándolo le eché primero el shampoo, se lo esparcí y luego procedí a echarle el agua con un envase ya que de esa manera no se altera. Es bien sabido que los gatos son seres muy higiénicos, viven acicalándose pero si el gato acostumbra a dormir en la cama y en los muebles hay que darle una ayudita al menos una vez al mes, nada de semanal o quincenal.

Fue muy tierno bañarlo a pesar de que me clavo las uñas no me hizo mucho daño porque solo quería huir, otro gato no hubiera perdido la oportunidad de morderme ni de arañarme toda, sin embargo el no, es muy respetuoso y estaba apenado por haberme lastimado.
