Este pequeño concierto se realizó en la casa de la cultura de maracay en el estado aragua, el 14 de octubre donde se presentaron 3 jóvenes guitarristas del estado aragua, hoy les presento la participación de Nicanor Narvaez interpretando una obra titulada "Modelo Simplicio" de autor Luis Laguana, esto en el marco de la inauguración de una galería de arte en esta institución.

This small concert was held at the Maracay Cultural Center in Aragua State on October 14, featuring three young guitarists from Aragua State. Today, I present Nicanor Narvaez performing a piece entitled “Modelo Simplicio” by Luis Laguana, as part of the inauguration of an art gallery at this institution.

Un tema que trasciende generaciones y al parecer no parece envejecer es lamento Boliviano de la banda"Alcohol Etilico" aunque la banda que impulso este éxito a nivel internacional fue "Enanitos Verdes" ambas bandas de Argentina de rock en español.

A song that transcends generations and seems to never grow old is “Lamento Boliviano” by the band Alcohol Etílico, although the band that propelled this song to international success was Enanitos Verdes. Both bands are Spanish-language rock bands from Argentina.

Recuerdo que yo era un niño cuando escuche este tema por primera vez en los años 90 y aquí en venezuela todavía em pleno 2025 en fiestas, bodas,Quinceaños se escucha este éxito musical, no les exageró cuando les dijo que por lo menos en venezuela este tema no envejece aun esta vigente, bandas de rock las tocan en conciertos y ferias, hoy se las presento en mi versión sax con mucho cariño para ustedes.

Para los que no me conocen me presento nuevamente mi nombre es Edgardo Rodriguez en hive @edgardsaxo soy musico saxofonista de Venezuela, me he dedicado a la música desde que cumpli 14 años, es decir desde hace bastante tiempo, también les quería comentar que estudio la trompeta y tambien ejecuto otros instrumentos como la flauta dulce y el clarinete, aunque mi instrumento principal es el saxofon, actualmente doy clases de teoría y solfeo en el conservatorio de musica de maracay estado Aragua Venezuela🇻🇪.

For those who don't know me, let me introduce myself again. My name is Edgardo Rodriguez, and my Hive username is @edgardsaxo. I am a saxophonist from Venezuela, I have been dedicated to music since I was 14 years old, which is quite a long time. I also wanted to mention that I study the trumpet and play other instruments such as the recorder and clarinet, although my main instrument is the saxophone. AUTUMN LEAVES

Hoy quize retornar con un standar del jazz titulado Autumn leaves una canción de 1949 compuesta por Joseph kosma para una película que se llamaba las puertas de la noche, el temo obtuvo la su popularidad cuando la interpreto el pianista Roger Williams en 1955, y desde entonces se han creado un sin fin de versiones de este tema que hoy se los presento en el sonido de mi saxofón alto.

Today I wanted to return with a jazz standard titled Autumn Leaves, a song from 1949 composed by Joseph Kosma for a film called The Gates of the Night. The song gained popularity when it was performed by pianist Roger Williams in 1955, and since then, countless versions of this song have been created, which I present to you today on my alto saxophone.

También quería acotar que no soy muy improvisador y en el jazz es muy complicado improvisar con coherencia, a pesar de mi experiencia nunca me dedique a estudiar este genero del jazz que es bastante profundo y extenso, apenas llevo un año meditando y analizando acordes y escalas y todo esto sobre todo la parte armónica, que es muy diferente a los que se nos explica en la escuelas de musica se no habla de la armonía "tradicional" y la mayoría de temas de jazz esta compuesta o pensado en los Modos, sustitutos tonales y progresiones a la que no estoy acostumbrado, sin embargo me anime a improvisar un poco para este concurso guiándome por el cifrado.

I also wanted to point out that I'm not very good at improvising, and in jazz it's very difficult to improvise coherently. Despite my experience, I never studied this genre of jazz, which is quite deep and extensive. I've only been meditating and analyzing chords and scales for a year, especially the harmonic part, which is very different from what we're taught in music schools. They don't talk about “traditional” harmony, and most jazz pieces are composed or conceived in modes, tonal substitutes, and progressions that I am not used to. However, I decided to improvise a little for this contest, guided by the chord symbols.

para esta presentacion quize despedir el mes de junio con un bolero de Agustin Lara, este tema fue un encargo de un amigo de Agustin Lara para despedirce del mundo artistico y de los escenarios para dedicarse a sarcerdote, este tema se convirtio en un icono del bolero y a tenido muchas versiones en la que destaca las versiones del "trio los pancho" y "luis miguel".

Esta semana con la tematica de "ring the bell" queria compartir con toda la comunidad que ya mi pez insignia ya es azul "minnow", la verdad es algo que me tiene entusiasmado en hive, la verdad fue bastante esfuerzo ahora me toca seguir escalado hasta el proximo nivel "Dolphin" espero sea en menosde dos años, pero bueno poco a poco se llega lejos.

This week, with the theme of "ring the bell," I wanted to share with the entire community that my flagship fish is now a blue "minnow." It's something I'm really excited about at Hive. It was quite an effort, and now it's time to continue climbing to the next level, "Dolphin." I hope it's in less than two years, but little by little, you'll get there.

I saw the theme of the week and the first thing that crossed my mind was the main theme of the anime Sailor Moon called moonlight and as quickly it occurred to me I remembered that I had already presented it previously, so secondly I began to meditate on the times I have heard bells and pleasant memories of when I was little I went to church with my family on Sundays came to mind, but no theme just those beautiful memories, so I had to investigate and I found this musical gem by John Lennon, a very melancholic theme that reflects his pain, if I am honest I did not know this story, it turns out that they left him to be raised by an aunt, his mother decided that she could not raise him when Lennon's father abandoned them when he was 4 years old, then his mother died when he was 17, a sad story sometimes we do not understand what each person is going through.
