Hello, how are you, friends of the Hive Music Festival! We are now in week 174 of round three. It is a pleasure for me to be here once again, as usual, bringing my posts to this wonderful community that has always given me the utmost love and appreciation. Today I bring you a song called “La cima del cielo” (The Top of the Sky), a very famous song by the singer Ricardo Montaner. This Argentine-Venezuelan singer-songwriter is one of the most iconic artists of the 80s and 90s, and he is still going strong with his music and that unique and special voice that makes any stage he performs on tremble.

Este cantautor argentino-venezolano es uno de los artistas más emblemáticos de los años 80 y 90, y aún sigue vigente con su música y esa voz única y especial que hace temblar cualquier escenario donde se presenta.

“La cima del cielo” es una declaración de amor hermosa, muy sentida, para alguien a quien amas muchísimo y deseas lo mejor. Who doesn't know this song? I, for example, remember it well from when I was in school as a child and it was played a lot on the radio. Pude ver que “La cima del cielo” fue lanzada a finales del año 1989 y formó parte de uno de los álbumes más importantes de toda su carrera y uno de los cuales lo recordamos y quién no conoce esta canción, la disfrutamos al escucharla, yo por ejemplo la recuerdo mucho cuando iba a mi colegio en la infancia y que sonaba mucho en las emisoras de las radio, trae consigo nostalgia y lo hermosura de ese romanticismo de la época dorada de Ricardo Montaner, sin dudas un legado musical único hermoso que nos enorgullece a sus fans. Es así que para mí es un completo honor traerles esta versión con mi ukelele, hecha con muchísimo cariño. Espero tengan un lindo fin de semana. ¡Un gran abrazo!

I've been at this festival for about two years now, and it's a great honor for me. Thank you so much for this space. I was feeling a little lost. I think it was about two weeks that I didn't post anything due to personal issues, some of life's busy moments, but I was really looking forward to coming back here, to the best stages that have given me the warmest welcome and embraced me with so much love and appreciation. This has become a place of calm and total stress relief for me. Writing my posts, playing my ukulele, and connecting with music are some of the most special things in my life.

Today I bring you a beautiful song. You know how much I love the band Maná, and this song is called “Hundido en un rincón” (Sunk in a Corner). It has beautiful lyrics with a very sad message, and at the same time, I know that many of us have gone through difficult times, whether it be heartbreak, disappointment, or some kind of personal grief. These lyrics can be a kind of catharsis that we can identify with.

Me encontraba un poco perdida, creo que alrededor de dos semanas en las que no presentaba mi entrada por temas personales, algunas ocupaciones de la vida; pero sí tenía muy pendiente volver acá, a los mejores escenarios que me han dado la mejor bienvenida y me han acogido con tanto cariño y aprecio. Este se ha convertido en un lugar de calma y de desestrés total para mí; hacer mis entradas, tocar mi Ukulele y encontrarme con la música es de las cosas más especiales de mi vida.

El día de hoy les traigo una canción hermosísima, ustedes saben lo que me encanta la agrupación Maná, y esta canción se llama “Hundido en un rincón”, tiene una letra preciosa con un mensaje muy triste y, a la vez, sé que muchos de nosotros alguna vez hemos pasado por un momento complicado, ya sea de desamor, desilusión o algún tipo de duelo personal. Esta letra puede llegar a ser una especie de catarsis para sentirnos identificados.

How's it going, friends of the Music Zone community? I've been pretty busy with personal stuff, travel plans, and, of course, the December holidays. Today I'm back here, in one of my favorite communities, which has welcomed me with open arms since day one. That's something I always want to remember and be thankful for.

Today, I want to start Round 1 of Week 169 with a beautiful song by Maná, one of the most beloved bands in Latin America and Spanish rock. It's a song called “Cachito,” a beautiful piece with very special musical arrangements, released in 1992 on the album ¿Dónde jugarán los niños? Traté de hacer una versión acorde y di lo mejor que pude para ser sincera tenia alrededor de un mes que no tocaba mi Ukelele, pero creo que el resultado a pesar de ello fue decente, en todo me disculpan ante cualquier deficiencia, el ukelele por si solo tiene un sonido único, fresco y en eso si siento tranquilidad. Disfruté mucho el proceso y espero ya reintegrarme de forma seguida, porque no me había ausentado tanto tiempo de mis presentaciones semanales en el Hive Music Festival.Espero que sea de su agrado. Today, as usual, I bring you a beautiful cover of a precious song that, well, I've been listening to for as long as I can remember. My mother loved this artist, Marco Antonio Solís, and he became a musical reference for me. I love his voice, his compositions, his stage presence, his shows as such. The truth is that this is the first time I've covered this song. Those of you who follow me and like my work know that I've covered several of his songs, but I've never dared to sing this one in particular. Este tema fue lanzado por allá en el año 1997, hace ya bastante y fue uno de sus mayores éxitos de esa época, ese disco que lleva por nombre "Lo mejor de mi" cuenta con unas canciones súper icónicas de él y que aun en la actualidad lo hacen brillar.

La coloqué en el sonido de la casa que pocas veces lo encendemos y ahí es que pude disfrutar de este gran tema. Esta es del año 1972 ni seña de haber nacido mi mama apenas tenía creo que 10 años (Risas).

Este es un tipazo y creo que ya no hace demasiadas presentaciones por la edad, pero sí que nos dejó un legado maravilloso para quienes sabemos apreciar, hice mi humilde versión como de costumbre en el Ukelele, adaptando lo que pude (Risa nerviosa) así que me perdonan si no es del todo buena, no quise salirme mucho de la original para mostrársela a mi hermano. Espero sea de su agrado les mando un súper abrazo a todos.
