Esta canción es mi favorita de toda la saga. No me extraña ya que no es tan jazz como otras, es mas rock y yo me inclino hacia ese genero musical. Esta canción me costó. Creo que esta canción encabeza mi top 3 de "From Zero". El álbum tiene buenos momentos como "Emptiness Machine" pero "Over and Over" se lleva el primer lugar. La amé desde el primer momento que la escuché. Fue la primera canción en la que emily cantó sola sin shinoda. Eso deja una impresión. Pero quizás fue la temática introspectiva lo que me la terminó de vender. Quería cantarla desde hace tiempo así que este cover fue catarsis.

I think this song heads my top 3 of "From Zero". The album has good times as "Emtness Machine" but "Over and Over" takes first place. I loved her from the first moment I heard her. It was the first song in which Emily sang alone without Shinoda. That leaves an impression. But perhaps it was the introspective theme that finished selling it to me. This is one of my favorite bands for many years. They have been inconsistent with their last albums. I must say that they are not my favorites of all the discography of these boys but among those albums are songs that work. This is one of those jewels. The video clip is incredible and gives a lot of context if you want to understand the lyrics. Comenzamos el año con que le hackearon la cuenta al laboratorio de manera que perdimos todos nuestros seguidores y perdimos todo el contenido que habíamos publicado y era bastante. Luego de un par de horas y luchar contra Google recuperamos El dominio que es la cuenta pero como dije ya no teníamos nada dentro de la cuenta ni las personas que nosotros seguíamos ni los que nos seguían, ni nada. Entonces bueno tuvimos que comenzar desde cero a publicar todo. Esto que nos pasó le abrió la puerta a un nuevo concepto que tenía en mente desde hace rato pero no se había hecho porque ya teníamos como una línea editorial. Yo quería que la dueña del laboratorio hablara acerca de sus experiencias más personales dentro de su vida profesional porque tiene 35 años ejerciendo bioanálisis y ella ya está en el lugar de su vida en el que puede aconsejar a personas que quieran ser bioanalistas en un futuro próximo. I work taking care of social media for a clinical laboratory in San Antonio de los Altos. A lot of things have happened to me since 2025 began. We started the year when the laboratory's account was hacked so we lost all our followers and we lost all the content we had published and it was quite a lot. En este primer episodio como ven está echando el cuento de que ella capacitó a un grupo de profesionales en un par de Estados dentro de Venezuela trabajando para una empresa privada. Esto estaba súper chévere porque es una de las cosas que cualquier otro bioanalista podría hacer en algún futuro próximo. Y con esto me refiero a viajar y conocer el país mientras trabajan ejerciendo la carrera que eligieron. Se pueden hacer muchas cosas aparte de tener un laboratorio clínico. En cuanto al video me gustó mucho cómo quedó, creo que cambiar de teléfono celular me hizo bastante bien. Porque la calidad del video mejoró. Aunque mi teléfono anterior fue mi mejor amigo durante mucho tiempo creo que la actualización lo está haciendo mucho mejor.

Para los que se preguntan cómo monté los subtítulos y esto lo digo porque tú ves que cambiar de plataforma para hacerlo y me parece que es un punto importante, antes lo hacía directamente en cap cut. Pero la aplicación si ha ido transformando con el tiempo y la función de subtítulos pasó a ser paga de manera que migre a otro lado. Hay una página que se llama turboscribe y puedes hacer subtítulos introduciendo un audio. Lo que yo hago es exportar el audio de mi video una vez que ya terminé de editarlo y este audio es el que meto en la aplicación de turbo scribe. Una vez hecho esto la aplicación se encarga de todo y lo único que tienes que hacer es descargar tus subtítulos en formato srt e incluirlos en tu video. Y bueno la edición del video la hago también en la aplicación de capcut pero no en el celular sino la de escritorio en mi computadora. He visto últimamente que capcut se está poniendo fastidioso con la aplicación del teléfono celular ahora te quieren poner una marca de agua y te dan cuatro usos al mes sin marca de agua para utilizar la aplicación gratis de otra forma tendrías que pagar. Ya no te pone los subtítulos y hay otro montón de funciones pagas que antes eran gratis. Bueno, supongo que si yo estuviera en el lugar de capcom y pudiera ganar tanto dinero como ellos Yo también lo habría hecho.

For those who are wondering how I set up the subtitles, I say this because you see that changing platforms to do it seems to me to be an important point. Before I did it directly in Cap Cut. Y antes de cerrar con este post quiero decir que en la mañana me fui a mi casa muy temprano y no desayuné de manera que me compré un pastelito y un pequeño en un puesto de plaza Venezuela. El pastelito tenía como 10% de carne mechada y el tequeño tenía como 10% de queso. Todo lo demás era masa. Okay entiendo que las cosas están caras y que... No sabes que no los voy a defender porque la comida debió haber estado buena. ¿Cómo es posible que si yo me quiero comprar un pastelito y comerlo con carne mechada y gasto mi plata y toda la cosa no tenga carne mechada? Me molestó un poco siendo honesto. Porque yo hago este viaje y compro comida en la calle para hacer un trabajo del que yo pueda estar orgulloso y que la gente de laboratorio clínico que es feliz. Entonces los chicos del kiosco donde compré el pastelito y el tequeño deberían hacer lo mismo. Deberían hacer un buen trabajo para que los clientes queden felices. Bueno yo no quedé feliz y obvio no voy a señalar el kiosco ni nada pero me molestó. Así que tengan cuidado cuando vayan a comprar comida en la calle. Supongo que es ensayo y error darte cuenta de cuál es el mejor de los sitios para comer así que yo ya aprendí que no voy a comprar más en ese lugar.

Y en los coros explota y los lleva súper arriba y es extraña combinación se me hizo un poco difícil en esta canción. Porque cuando digo que sube él realmente sube canta bastante arriba tiene un buen registro, muy versátil.

Algo algo cool de esta entrada fue tener que imitar los gritos de la canción. Eso me sacó mi zona de confort yo no suelo gritar de hecho en mis canciones no tengo ni un solo scream. En la música que hago mi aproximación es como la de muse: vocales limpias. Entonces tener que hacer los gritos de este tema aunque hayan sido solo como dos o tres creo que son dos a lo largo de toda la canción fue una experiencia. Entonces podría decir que aprendí algo en esta entrega. No le había prestado demasiada atención a los screams desde hace mucho tiempo y regresar a ellos fue cool. Y digo regresar a ellos porque yo vengo de la escuela de The Usted. The scape the fate cuando eran buenos (xD). Y cuando comencé a cantar como que mis intentos iban en esa dirección pero a medida que pasó el tiempo me fui como alejando de las raíces y terminé acostumbrándome a cantar en limpio. Entonces sí por eso fue como una aventura esta entrega fue cool.

Fuera de eso fue divertido elegir la canción para esta semana como dije en el video en un muy mal inglés yo no soy de los 90s aunque sí técnicamente nací en los 90s pero la música que escucho no es de los 90s. Escucho cosas del 2000 para adelante entonces fue interesante revisitar un par de títulos que en algún momento escuché y estaban ahí como en el imaginario popular. Así fue que llegué a Smashing pumpkins con la canción bullet with butterfly wings. Creo que eso es un temazo el disco tiene otras canciones buenas pero creo que esta que estoy cantando ahorita es la más popular de ese álbum. Tanto por la canción como el video el video es increíble últimamente no se hacen videos así. De para qué la época de los 90 fue salvaje. Y la letra también es chévere está como súper cargada de inconformidad y de repente es algo con lo que me siento identificado ahorita ya que recordemos Twitter está bloqueado en mi país.

Metiéndome en el mundo de los Smashing pumpkins me enteré de que el vocalista acaba de estrenar un podcast en el que esta entrevistando a gente así como súper hiper mega famosa no estoy todo seguro de si son artistas musicales exclusivamente o si habrá otro tipo de gente pero el primer invitado que tienes al vocalista de Kiss. Vi la primera mitad de la entrevista y está chévere el lugar es como súper bonito y Billy Corgan es bueno haciendo de entrevistador. Esto como dato curioso si quieren ignorarlo pueden hacerlo relajado Yo tampoco estoy seguro de querer vacilarme toda esa serie nada más tiene un episodio online así que bueno nada ahí está la info.

Y bueno creo que eso es todo estoy aprovechando estos videos como para practicar un poco el inglés que mi inglés es así como un asco entonces hablar un poquito en estos videos sirve para practicar. Si vieron la canción y les gustó déjeme algún comentario diciendo eso para crecer o si de repente ven algo que no les gustó también díganmelo igual para tomar nota y mejorar en alguna próxima entrega que es un poco la idea de estar aquí exponiendo el trabajo de esta forma.
