That's our whack-a-mole system. We need to be incentivizing giving out social badges, giving out all the incentives we can for people who are building their own local internets. What you might have is a sort of hop-to-hop approach, where it's like, our internet might not be the best—it might be a little bit raggedy—but I can hop from this dude who lives here, and then he can connect from this guy to that guy.

In a worst-case scenario, we might end up in that type of world, but at least it's something. It's something.

I do think we need to focus on internet infrastructure critically, especially where governments are lacking or where there's no infrastructure. If we're to beat them to the punch, we need to get villages connected to the internet, integrate HBD, get people on this freedom tech, and have them helping their local villages and communities, just like we've seen in Ghana.

When centralized systems come with their lightning networks, Starlink, and everything else—and they say, "You have to use this or go to jail"—it's going to be much more difficult to pull people off Hive. No government can offer what Hive has offered. How do we know that? We've seen it in practice. We've seen it in Ghana. We've seen it in Venezuela.
