I've already got September's "Power Bee Badge", my first after three failed attempts. Now I want the second one, the first of the fall.

Today is the day for all bees to power up their accounts and have fun with #HivePUD.

If you don't know how to take part, I suggest reading this post. In a simple and straightforward way, it will help you earn a “Power Bee Badge” so that you have more presence in the HIVE.

What is Reddit, is it easy to open an account?

“The front page of the Internet” is the slogan of Reddit, one of the Internet's leading news and content forums. It's almost 20 years old. Today it is a particularly influential community center for artists, illustrators, designers, photographers and others.

It's easy to create an account, there are several ways to do it.

HIVE Connection – RedditPosh

You go to hiveposh.com, login with keychain and now you're registered!

After that, all you need to do is share Hive links on different subreddits. The bot we have in place which still works with Reddit's API will then place a comment on the post you shared and who shared it. (Note that if the person sharing isn't registered on the website, it'll just leave the sharer username blank).

Publication on Reddit

Step 1: Choose the SubReddit where you want to publish. Add a title and upload an image. You may have to put keywords in the title. For example, in this community the title should refer to analog photography. Otherwise the community will delete the post. In this post I put: [Film Photography]

Step 2: Put the link to your post on HIVE. The title assumes what you put in earlier. You may have to use specific tags, read the information available in the community (top right of the page). Finish by clicking on the “Post” button.

Step 3: Check that everything is correct with your publication. It should look something like this.

SubReddits
This is the most important part. Reddit is a huge universe and we have to organize posts in the right communities, SubReddits. Start by reading the RULES of each one, they all have useful information so you don't make mistakes.

Not all of them accept external links. So here's a list of SubReddits where you can share HIVE links:

About 2 seconds after posting on Reddit you'll receive a comment from RedditPosh on your HIVE post. If your post wasn't accepted because Reddit deleted it, don't be discouraged. Find another SubReddit that accepts the HIVE post, or see what you missed.

Today, it is a part of the University of Coimbra that is visited by thousands of tourists. On the walls are portraits of 30 Rectors from the 16th to the 18th century. On each one is the duration, months and years, of each mandate.

The first “meeting” between the Rector and the University's professors took place in this room on October 13, 1537, the year the institution was definitively transferred to Coimbra. In, University of Coimbra (UC) website

The timelapse video shows the process of my work commissioned by the UC, the reproduction of the paintings on display in the room. Reproduction photography is not creative work, it requires responsibility, and in this case, it was an honor to feel the energy of a room with so much history.
