Over the last few weeks there has been a LOT of moving pieces and things to stay caught up with. I sat down with my friend Rice Crypto to have a little Fireside Chat to talk about our thoughts on everything that has been happening recently - especially the recent Hive hardfork.

I loved getting to sit down with Justin O’Connell who is the founer of GoldSilverBitcoin and has been invovled in the crypto space since 2012. In this video we chat about a variety of topics, but one that I think many crypto projects may find intersting is our conversation about getting featured in large publications.

Justin has been writing for various publications and news outlets for years and is currently a contributor for Forbes. It was great to pick his brain on the process to getting featured on a site like Forbes and some of his tips for how to pitch and provide value.

Because of his background in precious metals we also talk about his thoughts on bitcoin as a store of wealth compared to gold and his current thoughts on the market and economy.

We also chat about a variety of other things during this interview including the market crash, the price of bitcoin and even TikTok.

Hi Steem family!
I’m a big fan of projects that help move the adoption of bitcoin forward. One of the ways that I think this will happen is by making it easy and accessible for people to actually purchase everyday items with bitcoin.

That’s why I decided to do a walkthrough tutorial of Bitplaza - which is an app that is available in iOs and the Google Play Store which has a large marketplace of items available for sale in exchange for bitcoin.

In this video I walkthrough:

• Go through each section of the app showing the various search and navigation functionalities.

• Their customer support and how to reach them if needed.

• How to view tracking information for your orders.

Hi Steem Family! (or should I say Hive Fam?)

It has sure been an eventful evening with the news of the Steem Community forking the chain to basically say "bye felicia" to Tron and create a decentralized eco-system that better lines up with the communities values.

In this video, I break everything down and explain what just happened and what people can expect. I discuss the following topics:

• How will Hive be different than Steem?

• The Hive airdrop and who will receive tokens.

• What will happen to the price of steem?

• Will the Steem blockchain an Steemit still continue to operate?

• How is Hive going to be more decentralized than the current Steem blockchain?

• A full breakdown of what happened from a technical perspective and why various dApps and UI's built on steem will need to decide which chain they want to operate in the next few days.

I jumped on a call with my friend Amina Motala who flew to Paris earlier last week and is currently trying to get back into Canada before the French travel ban begins.

I had a lot of fun sitting down for a Fireside Chat with Warren Whitlock to discuss a variety of things happening in the world today.

I have a fun announcement for a new show i'm co-hosting! We are two bitcoin besties that will be sharing all of the hacks, tips and insights into how to travel the world on bitcoin - both earning and spending it on the go.

Amina Motala (nomadicsoverign.com) is about to take off on a crypto world tour where she will be not only finding ways to use her bitcoin to pay for travel expenses like flights, hotels and restaurants... but she'll also be getting creative with how she earns crypto on the road as well.

In this show, Amina and I will catch up every few weeks to hear where she's been. We'll be chatting about all sorts of things including:

• Travel Hacks she's discovered
• How she's been able to earn bitcoin between episodes
• What websites, airlines, restaurants and more she's discovered that accept bitcoin
• The mishaps and mayhem of what's gone wrong and what she's learned from it

Hello my steem family,.

Over the last few weeks, there have been a lot of changes to the Steem ecosystem. Everything from Justin Sun acquiring Steemit inc, to the Steem Softfork, to the most recent takeover of the chain.

My DM's have literally been full since yesterday with people asking questions
and trying to understand what really happened from a technical perspective. II've also noticed from all the conversations I've been engaging with on Twitter - that there seems to be some confusion/misconceptions about what Delegated Proof of Stake (DpoS) is, and what it isn't.

I thought it would be helpful to make a beginner's guide to understanding what is going on and really try to break it down in a way that will be digestible for most. I also get into why this matters and why what has happened is not only a big deal for all DpoS chains but really for the entire crypto community.

If you have had any questions or confusion around this entire situation - then I truly hope you will find this video to helpful!

Because there is literally something new happening in the story every 5 minutes, this is less of a "catch you up to date" on the latest things, but more of a foundation of knowledge for how the Steem blockchain works, what DpOs is and has been going on from a technical standpoint.

I had the awesome opportunity to be Lyn Ulbricht's roomate for World Crypto Con, but also to sit down and record a chat in our room about the Silk Road Case and how she has been fighting for her son, Ross Ulbright's, freedom. This was actually the very first interview I ever did on my Girl Gone Crypto Channel and is arguably still the most important.

I realized that I don't have a good decentralized version of this video and with all the shadow banning and removing of videos on YouTube (there has been more issues this week) - it would be a real shame to lose this video.

In this interview with Lyn Ulbricht, we quickly cover what the Silk Road is, and the story of Ross’ sentencing - but we then move into discussing why his case matters - and why every American should care about the outcome.

Lyn and I discuss the eroding freedoms and how our criminal justice system has let us down. The fact is - if this can happen to Ross (a non-violent first-time offender) then it could happen to anyone.

“We’re not supposed to be prisoned or condemned to die for our philosophical or political beliefs in the United States. This is not supposed to happen here.”

Lyn also goes over in detail how the Silk Road case violates the 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th amendments.
