A rugby player told people behind my back that I have no muscle, that he was stronger than me, and that as a coach I would be easy to beat. Younger—yes, that part is true, he’s young.

I kept quiet for a few days, just let it slide because I was too busy. But eventually, my ego got disturbed, so I had to face this guy.

I took a live video for TikTok and told him, “Let’s do face as well,” meaning we could punch each other’s faces. He refused and said, “Only chest and abs.” I said, “Okay, so be it.”

The whole day I was thinking—should I go 100% power on this guy? But then it hit me: I’m a coach. Better to use speed and technique, to show him that he can’t land clean shots. The target was chest and abs, so I blocked almost every punch he threw. He got me three times, but I landed so many shots on him we lost count.

In the end, I had fun. No anger, no emotions—just pure boxing and a good time. I didn’t feel the need to show power; there was no point.

Honestly, I surprised myself. I’m usually an angry guy, but maybe age is teaching me to just chill, rely on skills and technique, and not go all out when I already know the outcome. Yeah, that might sound a bit cocky 😂😂😂.

Anyway—respect your coaches and teachers out there. There’s always a reason why they are the teachers. Learn as much as you can when someone is willing to teach you for free, like I do. Take care and stay safe, everyone.

I had a good time meeting so many great people, and I even had a sparring match with a rugby player… and won! Weeeeee!

I also made a logo and a marketing video for my friend’s shop, so I’d say it was a successful and productive time.

This video shows the final day of transferring everything to the new area. I woke up at 7 a.m., started packing, and loaded all the things into the truck. I’m so tired while writing this, so I’m definitely going to sleep early tonight.

A lot of people asked me to stay, but no one was willing to sacrifice their own resources to make that happen.

It’s okay human nature is like that. Nothing we can do about it. Everyone wants things for free, but no one is willing to work for it.

Still, I’m going to miss this place. I learned a lot here, I read a lot, and I was surrounded by greens and dangerous animals at the same time.

I’ll miss the good people here too. Yes, there are good people, and they’re the only family that will keep this place in check.

My students I’m glad to see how much they’ve changed. They’re far more respectful compared to the first day I trained them.

I did as much good as possible and fought against the ones who didn’t deserve kindness. Looking back, this place feels a lot better now, and I hope it stays that way after I leave.

The younger generation has to take over and keep the good manners alive. I’m sure they’ll do a good job too.

Anyway, I’m rambling too much. Time to get ready for tomorrow. See you all again soon exciting things are waiting to begin!

I wanted to ask the landlord about it, but I’d rather not know the real reason. Instead, I make my own logical assumption, like maybe the mannequin is there because of theft.

Most villages here in Sabah have this problem because the houses are separated from each other. If a thief comes by, an empty house becomes an easy target.

For example, I once viewed a 2-acre empty land with just a single house in the middle. Anyone could just walk in, chill, or even steal. That’s why it’s important for someone to actually stay there.
