Portugal has so many beautiful things to offer us that sometimes it is difficult to decide what to visit in a short period of time if you are on holiday here! My job is to make things easier for you as a tourist, if you stay in the North of the country for example in the city of Porto I can invite you to make a stop in a town called "Vila Nova de Cerveira", then you will drive about 10km to the mountain called "Alto do Castro" and then you will look for the "Do Servant" viewpoint and get ready to live an adventure full of the best views of the valley and the Mino river!🏰📸🗺️

Portugal tiene tantas cosas bonitas que ofrecernos que a veces es dificil decidir que visitar en un corto periodo de tiempo si estas de vacaciones aqui! mi trabajo es hacerte las cosas mas facil a ti que eres turista, si te quedas en el Norte del pais por ejemplo en la ciudad de Porto te puedo invitar a hacer una parada en una ciudad llamada "Vila Nova de Cerveira", luego conduciras unos 10km hasta la Montana llamada "Alto do Castro" y luego buscaras el mirador "del siervo" y preparate para vivir una aventura cargada de las mejores vistas del valle y rio Mino!🚙🚩🧭

Origin of "Alto do Castro"🏔️🌍/Origen de "Alto do Castro"🚩🗺️

Everything we see related to the word Castro is a term that refers to constructions that date back to the Bronze Age, probably 2500 BC, and is the name designated to the mountain where the viewpoint is located. There are scientific records that there were already small populations inhabiting the entire mountain that surrounds the river "Mino", the formation of the river and mountain have a much older origin than when continental Portugal had volcanoes. Hundreds of years later, between the II and III AD, the Romans created one of the best cities in "Vila Nova de Cerveira".🧔🏻‍♂️📸

Todo lo que veamos relacionado con la palabra "Castrista" es un termino que hace referencia a construcciones que datan de la era de bronce probablemente del 2500 antes de Cristo, y es el nombre designado a esta montana donde esta el mirador, existen registros cientificos que ya habian pequenas poblaciones habitando toda la montana que rodea el rio "Mino", la formacion del rio y montana tienen un origen muchisimo mas antiguo de cuando Portugal continental presentaba Volcanes. Cientos de anos despues entre el II y III despues de Cristo los Romanos crearon una de las mejores ciudades en "Vila Nova de Cerveira".🏔️⛰️🌄

An adventure of height🏔️🌍/Una aventura de altura🚩🗺️

The 360 degree view from the top of the mountain is one of the best I've seen in Portugal for a long time. There are so many details here that you could spend a whole day exploring all the paths left by hundreds of adventurers, some of them extending hundreds of kilometers to the north of Spain. The highest point of this mountain is 620 meters, which is almost where the "servant" monument was built. I didn't have time, but I recommend that you climb the mountain by the trail, it will take you about 4 hours, or you can simply come by vehicle.📸🌍

La vista de 360 grados desde el mirador o tope de la sierra es una de las mejores que e visto en Portugal por mucho tiempo, hay tantos detalles aqui que podemos pasar un dia completo explorando todos los caminos dejados por cientos de aventureros, algunos de ellos se extienden cientos de kilometros hasta el norte de Espana, el punto mas alto de esta montana son 620 metros que es casi donde fue construido el monumento del "siervo"; yo no tenia tiempo pero recomiendo que para subir la montana lo hagas por el sendero te tomara unas 4 horas, o simplemente puedes venir en vehiculo.🚩🧭

This particular photo is interesting because you see a bridge, that bridge is the one that crosses the Mino River, and crossing it we arrive in Spain, that is why this whole area throughout its history had a lot of relevance, because Spain and Portugal were at war for almost all of history! and all the border villages were always reinforced with castles and things of a military nature.🫅🏻

Esta foto en particular es interesante porque ves un puente, ese puente es el que atraviesa el rio mino, y pasandolo llegamos a Espana, por eso toda esta zona durante toda su historia tuvo mucha relevancia, debido a que espana y portugal por casi toda la historia estuvieron en guerras! y todas las aldeas fronterizas siempre fueron reforzadas con castillos y cosas de indole militar.🏰

The servant, as I said in the video, represents a deer, a fairly common animal decades ago! Nowadays they are not seen in freedom, the monument is more than 20 meters high and was built by José Rodríguez who died at the age of 79, the material used for the deer was concrete and iron, it was painted black and can be seen from the town more than 15km away, there are those who say that the monument can be seen from Spain!🦌🦌🦌

El siervo tal como lo decia en el video representa un ciervo, un animal bastante comun decadas atras! hoy en dia no se ven en libertad, el monumento tiene mas de 20 metros de altura y fue construido por José Rodrígues quien fallecio a los 79 anos, el material usado para el ciervo fue concreto y hierro, fue pintado de color negro y se puede ver desde la villa a mas de 15km, hay quienes dicen que se puede ver el monumento desde espana! 📸🌄

You don't have to worry about piloting the craft because there are no restrictions, I just don't recommend going over 60 meters because there is a small airport nearby and well you don't want to get into trouble, as the area is popular for drone use check if there is no other person around to avoid crashes or accidents! I think the best time of year to visit the viewpoint is in the spring because we see the mountain quite dense with flowers and bushes, summers are drier.🏰🏔️🗺️

No tienes que preocuparte en pilotear la nave porque no hay restriccion, solo no te recomiendo pasar los 60 metros porque cerca hay un aeropuerto pequeno y bueno no querras meterte en problemas, como la zona es popular para uso de drones verifica si no hay otra persona por alli para evitar choques o accidentes! creo que la mejor epoca del ano para visitar el mirador es en la primavera porque vemos la montana bastante tupida de flores y arbustos, veranos es mas seco.⛰️🏰🫅🏻

In 1980 the archaeologist Lino Tavares carried out a series of excavations in the city of "Freixo" exactly under the chapel "dos Mouros" and discovered a Castro settlement which dates back to the Bronze Age. This revealed something interesting and that is that possibly the Romans when they arrived found these people who still inhabited these hills and named them "savages", and one of the things that the Romans found strange in that tribe was: "look these men only have one woman". (Tongobriga) is also known as the town of "Freixo" and consists of an archaeological settlement that was initially discovered as a large Roman villa, later excavations near a church revealed evidence of (Castro) fortifications dating back to the Bronze Age, this discovery led to the conclusion that the area was already populated more than 1,500 years before Christ.🌍👳🏻‍♀️

(Tongobriga) es tambien conocida como el pueblo de "Freixo" y consiste en un asentamiento arqueologico que inicialmente fue descubierta como una gran villa Romana, posteriormente se descubrieron en excavaciones cerca de una iglesia pruebas de unas fortificaciones (castristas) las cuales se remontan a la era de Bronce, ese descubrimiento llevo a concluir que la zona ya era poblada hace mas de 1500 anos antes de Cristo.🏔️🚩

I really liked that the museum has a section where they exhibit all the things that have been found to date. Among the most important objects are some coins from different Roman times that can be dated to the period when the Romans settled in Tongobriga, the oldest being from the reign of Augustus in the 2nd century BC. We also see different decorative objects such as hair clips, clothing, some inscriptions in Latin, and even board games.⚱️🚩

Me gusto mucho que el museo tenga una seccion donde exhiben todas las cosas que se han encontrado hasta la fecha, entre los objetos mas importantes datan algunas monedas de diferentes epocas Romanas con las cuales se pueden datar el periodo que los Romanos se establecieron en Tongobriga siendo la mas antiguas del reinado de Augusto siglo II antes de Cristo, tambien vemos diferentes objetos decorativos como sujetadores de pelo, ropa, algunas inscripciones en lengua latin, e inclusive juegos de mesa.🏛️🧔🏻‍♂️

Few people know the term (Brácaros) and this village refers to the Roman-Galicians who spread throughout the south of Galicia to what would now be Braga in Portugal in the north of the country, those who lived further south were the "Lucianos", I personally had never visited a space that explained the behavior of the Roman people who inhabited this region and I think that is enough to visit this space and further nourish our general culture, in addition to "Freixo" being a beautiful medieval village that still maintains much of the architecture of the time, which motivates us even more to visit Tongobriga.🌻🏔️

Pocos conocen el termino (Brácaros) y esta villa hace referencia a los Romanos-Gallegos que se extendieron por todo el sur de galicia hasta lo que seria actualmente Braga en Portugal al norte del pais, los que vivian mas al sur eran los "lucitanos", personalmente nunca habia visitado un espacio que explicase sobre el comportamiento de los pueblos Romanos que habitaron esta region y creo que eso es suficiente para visitar este espacio y nutrir mucho mas nuestra cultura general, ademas que "Freixo" es una hermosa aldea medieval que aun mantiene mucha de la arquitectura de la epoca lo que nos motiva mas a visitar Tongobriga.🌳⛲

The Roman-Galician people🚩🧭/El pueblo Romano-Gallego🏛️

Generally speaking the behaviour of a Roman city was similar to others since Rome was not a nomadic people, on the contrary it was one of the most powerful empires of all time and already had an economic, social, political and military system too advanced for the time, therefore Roman laws applied to the entire empire, meaning that the currency of Tongobriga was the same one used in Olissipo (Lisbon), just as the laws were applied to every (civitas) or Roman person, the Romans normally did not pay taxes but in times of war they were forced to make loans that were then compensated with the profits generated by the conquered land.🏛️🧭

En terminos generales el comportamiento de una ciudad Romana era similar a otras ya que Roma no fue un pueblo nomada, al contrario fue uno de los imperios mas poderosos de todos los tiempos y ya poseeian un sistema economico, social, politico y militar demasiado avanzado para la epoca, por tanto las leyes Romanas se aplicaban para todo el imperio, quiere decir que la moneda de Tongobriga era la misma usada en Olissipo (Lisboa), al igual que las leyes eran aplicadas a todo (civitas) o persona Romana, los Romanos normalmente no pagaban impuestos pero en epocas de guerras eran forzados a realizar prestamos que luego eran compensados con las ganancias que generaba la tierra conquistada.🌍

Good morning fellow adventurers and drone lovers, I'm excited to bring content to this great community, today I drove about 25km to Torres Vedras to visit this beautiful chapel, which has a post-medieval history and at the same time we are going to go up to the viewpoint of the area to put our drone in the air and have some fun! Buenos dias amigo aventureros y amantes de los drones, estoy emocionado por traer contenido a esta gran comunidad, para hoy conduje unos 25km hacia torres vedras para visitar esta hermosa capilla, la cual tiene una historia post medieval y a su vez vamos a subir al mirador de la zona para poner nuestro drone al aire y divertirnos un poco! disfruta mi post!⛰️🚵🏻‍♀️

"Socorro" mountain viewpoint🚙⛰️ /Mirador sierra "Socorro"🌎🚩

The first thing we are going to highlight in our visit is the beautiful viewpoint that the chapel has, you have a 360 degree view of the entire territory, from here you can see Mafra and the palace as well as the defensive lines of Torres Vedras that I explained in the video were a set of military forts arranged in line to defend Lisbon from possible invasions, due to this line there is a 25km path that allows you to travel through all of them and see all the forts, I already uploaded videos of some military forts here, those belong to this line if I'm not mistaken there are more than 50, today the weather did not help me much it was cloudy as you can see in the photos, a lot of wind and of course that made it difficult to get a better video or better photos!⛰️🚩🚙

Lo primero que vamos a resaltar en nuestra visita es el hermoso mirador que tiene la capilla, tienes una vista de 360 grados hacia todo el territorio, desde aqui puedes avistar Mafra y el palacio asi como las lineas defensivas de torres vedras que lo explique en el video fueron un conjunto de fuertes militares dispuestos en linea para defender Lisboa de posibles invasiones, debido a esta linea hay un sendero de 25km que permite recorrerlas todas y ver todos los fuertes, ya subi videos de algunos fuertes militares aqui, esos pertenecen a esta linea si no me equivoco son mas de 50, hoy el clima no me ayudo mucho estaba nublado como ves en las fotos mucho viento y claro eso dificulto la obtencion de un video mejor o mejores fotos!🤓⛰️

About the chapel🚙⛰️ /Sobre la capilla🌎🚩

I discovered this place by chance. I was passing by a marking and I saw some crosses, so they caught my attention, so I followed them to the top of the mountain. There were more than 20 in total. Something told me that this was a pilgrimage that is common in Portugal. When I got to the top I came across this very pretty and well-kept chapel, so I decided to use my drone and investigate it. First I discovered that it is more than 400 years old, and that before there was a pagan altar here, probably from the 12th century.🚩🚙

Descubri este lugar por casualidad iba pasando camino a una marcacion que tenia vi unas cruces entonces me llamaron la atencion por lo que las segui hasta la cima de la montana, en total eran mas de 20, algo me decia que se trataba de una peregrinacion que son comunes en Portugal, cuando llegue arriba me tope con esa capilla bien bonita y cuidada, lo que decidi usar mi drone e investigar sobre ella, primero descubri que tiene mas de 400 anos, y que antes habia aqui un altar pagano probablemente del siglo XII.🚵🏻‍♀️🧭

Here I managed to photograph the chapel, quite small and pretty! It's a shame it's not open to the public because I read that the inside has been restored and has tiles, as I mentioned in the video, it was built in the 16th century, post-medieval, the objective was to bring Christianity to every corner of the country and placing a chapel at the highest point of Torres Vedras was a good option! As I mentioned in the video, it is not necessary to ask for authorization to pilot the drone, here it is rare to pass the 80-meter barrier, I don't even like to reach 100 meters in height, if you respect all these conditions you can use the drone without problem.🚵🏻‍♀️🚙🚩

Aqui logre fotografiar la capilla, bastante pequena y bonita! una pena no estar abierta al publico porque lei que adentro esta restaurada y tiene azulejos, como mencione en el video fue construida en el siglo XVI post era medieval, el objetivo era llevar el cristianismo a cada rincon del pais y colocar una capilla en el punto mas alto de Torres Vedras fue una buena opcion! como mencione en el video no hace falta pedir autorizacion para pilotear el drone aqui es raro pasar la barrera de 80metros no me gusta ni llegar a los 100metros de altura si respetas todas esas condiciones puedes usar el drone sin problema.🏦🏫

Hello friends, nature and drone lovers, today I bring you a very natural post. We are going to travel about 20km to the south in the municipality of Palmela, where we will visit the Serra da São Luís. My intention is to explore it with the drone to discover some interesting things such as new trails or caves. Hola amigos amante de la naturaleza y drones, hoy traigo un post bastante natural y es que vamos a viajar unos 20km hacia el sur en el municipio de Palmela alli visitaremos la Sierra de "São Luís", mi intencion es explorarla con el drone para descubrir algunas cosas interesantes como por ejemplos nuevos senderos o cuevas, en realidad es mi primera vez en la zona y soy inexperto por tanto el drone siempre es un buen recurso para comenzar una caminata. The best views of Palmela?🌎⛰️/Las mejores vistas de Palmela?🚩

Palmela es bastante grande y tiene una gran diversidad de cultura y paisajes, es un municipio cuyo centro fue construido en altura por eso esta alrededor del Castillo, un dia publique sobre el Castillo asi que lo puedes ver en mis post antiguos, desde el centro caminaremos directo a las colinas unos 4km y nos adentramos al paisaje mas salvaje, son estos los paisajes mas bonitos de palmela? si... En realidad una de las mas hermosas de la zona sur de Lisboa.🚩🚙

A road that is 500 years old? Wow🌎⛰️/Una carretera con 500 anos? wuow🚩

What a crazy idea! While I was doing some research I discovered that there is a road that was built in the post-medieval era with the conquests of Palmela, a street that went from Palmela to the North to the center of Lisbon, it is more than 500 years old and is the property of the municipality, in fact, to preserve it, it is prohibited to use asphalt on all the roads in the reserve, it was not a main road but a secondary one, that is why it did not have the typical pavement of the Stone Age! But it is worth highlighting.🌎⛰️

Que locura, mientras investigaba un poco descubri que hay una carretera que fue construida en la era post medieval con las conquistas de Palmela, una calle que iba desde Palmela al Norte hasta el centro de Lisboa, tiene mas de 500 anos y es patrimonio del municipio, en realidad para preservarla esta prohibido usar asfalto en toda los caminos que hay en la reserva, no era un camino principal era secundario por eso no tenia la calzada tipica de la epoca de Piedra! pero vale la pena resaltarla🤓🚩🌷

Castillo a la vistaaa!! caminar entre esta sierra es poder disfrutar de las mejores vistas de Portugal a lo lejos en una colina de doscientos metros vemos el famoso Castillo de Palmela, si no lo conoces puedes visitarlo no te decepcionaras, e imagino las personas que trabajaban en la agricultura en el siglo XII sembrando algunas hortalizas o frutas para subsistir, a mi lado hay una colina que tiene unos cien metros de altura alli hay molinos de viento colocados a partir del siglo XVII🚙🌻🏰

I cannot fly the drone over the castle without permission so we will only enjoy it from a distance, but we can fly the drone over this abandoned structure which is a small Christian church from the 16th century. No puedo pilotear el drone arriba del castillo sin permiso por tanto solo lo disfrutaremos a la distancia, pero si podemos volar el drone por encima de esta estructura abandonada que es una pequena iglesia cristiana del siglo XVI, apesar que esta destruida es una de las atracciones de la sierra de "São Luís", esta ultima es imposible de visitarla porque son caminos demasiados peligrosos y empinados.🚙⛰️

This is the first time I went somewhere without organizing myself or without a plan. What I did was follow a couple of trails with yellow symbols that I think are from the scouts, and well, I went exploring to discover new trails that I would do in the future. I also passed through several small, pretty villages. My destination was on the way to the castle.🚙🚩

It caught my attention that I passed by a couple of pretty, artisanal ecological inns. I was checking them on the internet and the price per night is barely 50 euros. Of course, you don't have the comforts that a 4-star hotel offers, but it's ideal for doing something different with your partner! Hello friends, today I have a very funny post. I went to the city of Palmela, one of the oldest and most interesting on the southern edge of Lisbon, to discover archaeological ruins and learn about the fascinating civilizations that inhabited them. Hola amigos, hoy traigo un post bastante divertido, fui a la ciudad de Palmela que es una de las mas antiguas e interesantes del margen sur de Lisboa para descubrir ruinas arqueologicas y aprender sobre las fascinantes civilizaciones que las habitaron, es interesante ver estos lugares con el drone ya que podemos tener con mejor claridad los detalles de cada ciudadela, por ejemplo los cuartos, las divisiones, la calzada etc. Hice una caminata de 12km aproximadamente para toparme con tres excavaciones de tres civilizaciones diferentes en un lapso de 4mil anos.🧑🏻‍🎓🚙🏰

This is the first archaeological ruin we came across on the way, it was the first to be inhabited, possibly by the Phoenicians, it was built in the 2nd or 3rd century BC, according to the records it was a civilization that was dedicated to agriculture and hunting, possibly in the Bronze Age when man already mastered the art of war and its defenses, with the drone we were able to see an entrance that is believed to have been a wooden wall to protect the citadel.🏰🌎

Esta es la primera ruina arqueologica que nos topamos en el camino, fue la primera en ser habitada, posiblemente por los fenicios fue construida en el siglo II o III antes de Cristo, segun los registro fue una civilizacion que se dedicaba a la agricultura y caza, posiblemente en la era de bronce cuando el hombre ya dominaba el arte de la guerra y sus defensas, con el drone alcanzamos a ver una entrada que se cree habia una muralla de madera para proteger la ciudadela.🚩⛰️

Why the Palmela area?🧑🏻‍🎓⛰️ /Por que la zona de Palmela?🌎🚩

Primero que nada una construccion en altura es un lugar que tiene grandes privilegios, por ejemplo al tener una fortificacion conseguian ver el enemigo a largas distancia, ese es el principal motivo de construir estos yacimientos en las colinas de palmela, luego estamos rodeados por un valle tal como ves en la fotos, antes pasaba un rio aqui de agua dulce hace miles de anos, lo que facilitaba los recursos, atras de la gran montana esta el atlantico, en el extremo opuesto esta el rio tejo y lisboa. Lo que concluimos que Palmela es una zona bastante prolija con recursos y geografia.🏰⛰️🚩

A little less than 1km away we find another civilization that inhabited the area approximately in the 1st century AD, they were the Romans, these here were not a village like the previous one, it was more an area of activities with thermal baths, that is to say just a stopping point to trade or rest, at the same time the Roman troops on marches could rest their horses and be fed, many artifacts were collected that today are in the castle of Palmela.⛰️🌎

A poco menos de 1km nos encontramos otra civilizacion que habitaron en la zona aproximadamente en el siglo I despues de Cristo fueron los Romanos, estos de aqui no fue una villa como la anterior fue mas una zona de actividades con termas, osea solo un punto de parada para comercializar o descansar, al mismo tiempo las tropas romanas en marchas podian descansar los caballos y ser alimentados, se recolectaron muchos artefactos que hoy en dia estan en el castillo de Palmela.🚙⛰️

Finally, the most recent construction is from the Moors, who inhabited Portugal several centuries after the Romans. It is interesting that they had an architecture somewhat similar to the Romans. Aqui los Moros posiblemente usaron el lugar para obtener recursos, ya vivian en Palmela por tanto o fue esto una pequena villa con pocas casas de personas alejadas de la civilizacion o usada para otros usos.🧑🏻‍🎓🏰

Hola amigos viajeros y amante de los Drones, hoy me dispuse a viajar hacia una ciudad hermosa llamada Santarem pero antes visitaria alguna de las aldeas de sus alrededores incluyendo una llamada "Muges", esta parroquia pertenece a "Salvaterra dos Magos" poco menos de 1200 personas, bastante pequena pero llena de historia y hermosos paisajes! acompaname para descubrir inclusive un puente romano del siglo I antes de cristo.🚵🏻‍♀️⛰️🌳

The great Mesolithic🧭🚩 /El gran Mesolitico🌎🗺️

If you plan to go to Santarem you have to visit Muge, because despite being a small and agricultural village, it is surrounded by centuries of history. If you go to the town hall there are many records of objects found, wells, shells, animals and bones that date back to the Mesolithic era, that is, about 60 years of the last century. In the other small villages that border the Tejo River, small jars were found, dating back to the Paleolithic and some materials made from the rocks of the area!🚩🗺️

Si pretendes ir a Santarem tienes que visitar si o si Muge ya que apesar de ser una aldea bastante pequena y agricola esta envuelta de siglos de historia, si vas a la camara municipal hay muchos registros de objetos encontrados, pozos, conchas, animales y huesos que datan de la era Mesolitica osea unos 60 anos del siglo pasado, en las otras pequenas aldeas que bordean el Rio Tejo se consiguieron pequenas jarras, que datan del paleolitico y algunos materiales fabricados con las rocas de la zona!🌎📸

I didn't have to get permits or anything to fly my drone here, this whole area is open and in theory you can fly it up to 120 meters high but just check if you are close to the drone, if so it is 75 meters high maximum and above that you must ask for authorization! I could say that the village is not a touristy one, on the contrary, the few people who live here in the parish are people who work in the fields and a few are pensioners who looked for houses in places near the river and in peace, away from tourists! That's why restaurants and hotels are quite scarce.🗺️🚩

No tuve que sacar permisos ni nada para pilotear mi drone aqui, toda esta zona es abierta y en teoria puedes levantarlo a 120 metros de altura pero solo verifica si estas cerca del aerodrono siendo asi son 75 metros de altura maximo por encima debes pedir autorizacion! podria decir que la aldea no es turistica al contrario las pocas personas que viven aqui en la parroquia son personas que trabajan en el campo y algunas pocas son pensionadas que buscaron casas en lugares cerca del rio y en paz alejado de los turistas! por eso restaurantes, y hoteles son bastante escasos.🌳🌎

The Medieval era was undoubtedly the one that marked the history of Muge, and in the 15th century King Manuel built a palace here because he wrote a letter to expel some Jews and Muslims who had been conquered from these lands. Let us remember that Muslims lived in Portugal for hundreds of years until the era of conquests in the 11th century. Then in 1496 Duke Cadaval, who was a powerful dynasty in Muge, made the majority of the people of Muge agricultural!🗺️⛰️

La era Medieval sin duda fue la que marco la historia en Muge y es que en el siglo XV el rey Manuel construyo aqui un palacio debido que escribiria una carta la cual seria para expulsar algunos judios y musulmanes que habian sidos conquistados dentro de estas tierras, recordemos que los musulmanes vivieron en portugal centenas de anos hasta la era de las conquistas en el XI, luego en 1496 el duque Cadaval quien seria una dinastia poderosa en Muge haria que el pueblo de Muge fuera en su mayoria agricola! 🌎🌊

It is a pity that Muge has not preserved any aspects of the medieval era, since a group of structures was restored in the 16th century. Es una pena que Muge no conservo en la actualidad aspectos de la era medieval ya que en el mismo siglo XVI fue restaurada un conjunto de estructuras, el palacio de Muge aun se encuentra en la aldea pero tiene pocos vestigios antiguos y en cambio tiene un toque mas moderno, todo lo que escondia Muge y sus secretos en la historia portuguesa fue perdido a partir de 1755.⛲🗺️

The village used to be called Muje, but it was renamed Muge, named after a common fish found in the river. It stopped being an independent parish and joined Salvaterra dos Magos and even belonged to Santarem. Nowadays, it seems to me more of an agricultural town than a tourist one! In my opinion, it is easier to stay in Santarem, since there are more demands for hotels and restaurants, and then go to Muge. There are some good wineries in Muge, some of which have been operating since the 17th century.🚩⛲

Antes la aldea se llamaba Muje pero se le cambio a Muge nombre de un pez comun que esta en el rio, dejo de ser una parroquia independiente y se sumo a Salvaterra dos Magos e inclusive pertenecio a Santarem, en la actualidad me parece mas un pueblo de paso agricola que turistico! en mi opinion es mas facil quedarte en Santarem ya que alli tienes mas demandas de hoteles, restaurantes, y luego ir a Muge. Hay unas buenas castas de vino en Muge algunas funcionando desde el siglo XVII🧭🌳

Increible al leer un poco sobre esta iglesia, resulta que en el siglo XIII habian muchos colonos a llegar a Muge pero como no habia iglesia no pagaban el diezmo, por tanto el obispo de Lisboa ordeno al de Salvaterra dos Magos que se construyera una iglesia alli para que la poblacion pagase los impuestos, lo cual se inicia la construccion de la iglesia "Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição" en 1297, en el siglo XVIII se hicieron algunas restauraciones.🗺️⛰️

Hello adventurous friends, today I bring a quite medieval post and it is that I traveled more than 150km to the village of Evoramonte to visit one of the most iconic castles in the country, first for its slightly more "modern" structure, but in reality the main one. The attraction of the Castle is the history that is housed here, it was here where two kings of Portugal met to sign a peace treaty (Concession of Evoramonte) to end the liberal war between the two of them. Hola amigos aventureros, hoy traigo un post bastante medieval y es que viaje mas de 150km hasta la aldea de Evoramonte para visitar a uno de los Castillos mas iconicos del pais, primero por su estructura un poco mas "moderna", pero en realidad el principal atractivo del Castillo es la historia que aqui se alberga, fue aqui donde dos reyes de Portugal se reunieron para firmar un tratado de paz (Concesion de Evoramonte) para acabar la guerra liberal entre ellos dos. The bad news is that the village of Evoramonte has transport but in the center and not here in the fortified village so yes or if you need personal transport, the roads are good and you can take the N18 or alternative roads, you can only enter the village through the north or south door. Normally these isolated villas in Evora are economical.👸🏻🌍

La mala noticia es que la aldea de evoramonte tiene transporte pero en el centro y no aqui en la villa fortificada asi que si o si necesitas transporte personal, las carreteras son buenas y puedes tomar la N18 o carreteras alternativas, solo puedes entrar en la villa por la puerta norte o sur. Normalmente estas villas aisladas en Evora son economicas.🏰🌳

After the Romans abandoned Portugal for hundreds of years, the Moors were the ones who occupied the country, especially in the south, since the nation was established from the limit of Lisbon to the north to Guimaraes, therefore in order to reconquer the country they had to expel themselves and fight against the Moors, and that would happen from the 11th and 12th centuries, however when we visited the town of Entremonte we could still get objects, culture and architecture from the Moors, in reality the name of Evora and almost all the names of Portugal are of Arabic origin .🏰🌍

Posteriormente de los Romanos abandonar Portugal por cientos de anos los Moros fueron quienes ocuparon el pais sobre todo en el sur ya que la nacion estaba establecida del limite de Lisboa para el norte hasta guimaraes, por tanto para poder reconquistar el pais debia expulsarse y luchar contra los Moros, y eso sucederia a partir del siglo XI y XII sin embargo cuando visitamos la villa de Entremonte aun podriamos conseguir objetos, cultura y arquitectura de los Moros, en realidad el nombre de Evora y casi todos los nombres de Portugal son de origen Arabico.👸🏻👨🏻‍🏫👳🏻‍♂️

"Sao Pedro de Fora" church🏰🌍

My first stop is at this beautiful church called: "São Pedro" which already had some small buildings in the 16th century which served more as an altar than anything else, later only the church was built as you see it in the photo in In 1910, for people not to have to go to the center of Evoramonte, the Catholic Church built their own church here, despite being very new, it still has those medieval touches and is worth visiting, in front is the cemetery.🧭🌏

Mi primera parada es en esta bonita iglesia llamada: "São Pedro" la cual ya tenia algunas pequenas construcciones en el siglo XVI el cual servia mas como altar que otra cosa, posteriormente solo se construye la iglesia tal cual como la ves en la foto en 1910, para las personas no tener que ir al centro de Evoramonte la iglesia catolica les construyo aqui su propio iglesia, apesar de ser muy nueva tiene aun esos toques medievales y vale la pena visitarla, al frente esta el cementerio. 🏰🏫

Portugal was neutral in the Second World War like Spain, but the same did not happen in the first, and villages like Evoramonte were places where family men left their homes to be able to fight alongside the allies! Portugal fue neutral en la segunda guerra mundial al igual que espana pero no sucedio lo mismo en la primera, y aldeas como Evoramonte fueron locales donde hombres de familia dejaron sus casas para poder combatir junto con los aliados! se perdieron descenas de miles de vidas Portuguesas hasta el punto que muchas de estas aldeas se quedaron sin hombres y en cambio solo se veian ninos, ninas y mujeres asi que tardo mucho en repoblarse, el cementerio es algo que tienes que visitar para ver tumbas de personas del siglo XVIII e inclusive la tumba de los caidos en la guerra. El cambio de arquitectura entre zonas es impresionante, alguna veces tenemos la sensacion que estamos viajando en la epoca de los Moros y otras veces en la era medieval, recuerdas mi post pasado en la aldea medieval donde me quede en "brotas"? bueno recuerdo que alla aun conservaban puertas medievales en algunas casas, pero aqui es diferente todas tienen sus puertas originales por supuesto restauradas, en realidad tengo la impresion que esta a sido la villa mas original que visite hasta ahora.🌎🗺️

The swing is a must-see on our tour because they are fashionable throughout Portugal as they are symbols of beauty and height, literally swings are being built in the highest areas to boost tourism and decorate the landscape, it says the following: " "Evoramonte a mountain of emotions." It is worth it for the landscape and the breeze here is pleasant, inside the town there is only a breeze in the castle, the rest is cut off by the wall.🌎🏰🚩

El columpio es una visita obligada en nuestro recorrido porque estan de moda en toda Portugal ya que son simbolos de belleza y altura, literal se anda construyendo columpios en las zonas mas altas para impulsar el turismo y decorar el paisaje, este dice lo siguiente: "Evoramonte una montana de emociones". Vale la pena por el paisaje y la brisa aqui es agradable, dentro de la villa solo hay brisa en el castillo de resto es cortada por la muralla.🌳🌍

El castillo es gratis por eso no te preocupes en tener monedas o dinero, pero atencion con el horario de funcionamiento mejor revisar el horario en Gmaps, hay una chica en la entrada que te dara la bienvenida y podria aclararte cualquier duda ademas de darte un folleto para conocer la historia del castillo, desde aqui quedas por tu cuenta, el castillo si no me equivoco cuenta con 5 pisos es bastante alto, fue claramente restaurado y tiene esa mezcla arquitectonica de todas las epocas desde el siglo XII hasta nuestros dias. No tiene nada electrico y las personas con discapacidad no pueden llegar hasta el techo.🏰🏫

Para llegar al sitio arqueologico basta con llegar a las siguientes coordenadas: (39° 04′ 28″ N, 9° 17′ 09″ O) lo podemos unicamente hacer con vehiculo o haciendo algunos senderos desde alguna aldea cercana normalmente estan entre 6-10km por eso te espera toda una aventura, pilotear el drone aqui es permitido y no requieres permiso si respetas las reglas de la ANAC, la mejor altura del ano para visitarlo es en primavera ya que en verano las temperaturas son bastante altas.🚙🧭

La primera parada la haremos aqui en el "faro cabo espichel" con una altura total de mas de 360 metros este fue uno de los primeros faros en construirse en la zona sur de Portugal, data del 1790 y como otros faros su principal funcion era servir como guia a barcos Portugueses, asi como tambien reforzar la linea de proteccion de toda la costa extendiendose hasta Lisboa mas de 15 faros que alumbraban el oceano por posibles barcos piratas que en esa altura eran muy frecuentes! para llegar al faro no puedes usar transporte publico asi que tienes dos opciones caminar cuando pases el puente 25 de abril y cuidado es una ruta hiper larga de 4-6horas, o simplemente llegar con transporte publico! aqui lo consigues; (38.415533, -9.216327)🚙👨🏻‍🎓

Otro pedazo de arquitectura de la epoca pero este se remonta en el ano 1402 siendo tambien uno de los sitios turisticos mas al occidente de Sesimbra, fue un lugar catolico habitado por peregrinos quienes lo habitaron por mas de 200 anos, hoy en dia mortalizado siendo monumento de interes historico Portugues, segun la leyenda aqui en 1410 se aparecio la imagen de la virgen maria en una pared lo que hizo que el lugar fuera sitio de culto hasta el dia de hoy! al lado del santuario tenemos un acuaducto, la iglesia por dentro casi siempre esta cerrada y hasta el dia de hoy no la e podido visitar... Pero un dia de estos lograre entrar...🧭🌲🚩

Siempre trato de dar lo mejor de mi para crear el mejor de todos los contenidos y bueno tambien trato de traer lo mejor a la comunidad de Drones y poder impulsar las vistas y las recompensas, hoy me siento orgulloso porque creo que tengo las mejores imagenes hasta ahora publicadas aqui! es increible que si tiro fotografias con mi camara no podrian compararse con estas bellezas captadas con mi Mavic, de verdad no sabia que Azoia era tan hermosa primera vez que vuelo el drone aqui y a sido un reto porque es un area protegida que requiere permisos, hay muchos ejercicios militares tambien entonces por fin tengo un dia con el cielo solo para mi! pero cuidado... Azoia no te pone nada facil habia demasiado viento por lo que tuve que ser demasiado precavido al pilotearlo a los lados del faro🚙🌲🚩

Tecnicamente el punto mas al occidente del pais termina aqui, tambien tecnicamente europa se acaba en esta zona, sin embargo el punto mas al sur es Sagres alli tambien se podria decir que es el fin del continente europeo sin embargo Sesimbra con sus maravillosos paisajes nos invita a realizar una visita para ver la cara mas bonita de Portugal solo esto podria superarse con algunas zonas de algarve y creeme no compiten...🤴🏻🤴🏻

Es interesante si te gustan pilotear drones porque el area es accesible sin restricciones puedes hacer unas buenas tomas aqui, en mi opinion visitar Marinhais es para aquel publico que guste de aventuras naturales como el senderismo, practicar la pesca y el kayak, no muy lejos de aqui puedes hacer un tour en un bote por el rio Tejo por menos de 25 euros por persona, el hospedaje y la comida es bastante economica por lo que puedes quedarte aqui para potenciar el turismo en la zona y a su vez te sirve como punto de partida para recorrer otras zonas del pais! importante: (tienes que tener al menos un vehiculo alquilado) la zona es pobre en transporte publico!🚙🌲🚩

Bico da Goiva es uno de los principales puntos turisticos de Marinhais y esta en el limite de Salvaterra, este maravillo columpio construido en el 2010 es una invitacion para compartir en familia mientras admiras el paisaje del Rio que a tu frente se extiendo algunos kilometros, la zona es rica en biodiversidad y puedes ver muchas aves si tienes suerte inclusive flamencos, hay quienes traen kayak para usarlos aqui pero ten cuidado la marea tiene fuerza tienes que tener experiencia, el columpio tiene un area de picnic que tambien te permite venir y pasar un dia en familia si traes comida.🚩🧭

There is no exact date of when the practice of Falconry was practiced for the first time in the history of humanity, however we can infer that human beings began as a spectator analyzing how falcons captured prey, but when did this practice begin? considered as Falconry? I already explained to you in my post everything related to this form of effective hunting, to do so I visited the "royal falcoeria" in Salvaterras, a village just under 80km from Lisbon.👨🏻‍🎓🦅

No existe una fecha exacta de cuando la practica de la Cetrería fue utilizada por primera vez en la historia de la humanidad, sin embargo podemos inferir que el ser humano comenzo como un espectador analizando como los halcones capturaban presas, pero en que momento esta practica es considerada como Cetrería? ya te explico en mi post todo lo relacionado con esta forma de caza efectiva, para ello visite la "falcoeria real" en Salvaterras una aldea a poco menos 80km de Lisboa.🧭🚩

I have to confess🌍/Tengo que confesar🚩

I have to confess something that is personal, every time I pass through this area there is a house that I am delighted with. I always tell my wife that this is the house of my dream! I swear that if one day I had enough money to buy a house I would do it in this area, it is too beautiful and close to the mountains! There is no way we will get bored of that charming landscape, but as I mentioned in the video, the houses are too expensive because since it is a protected area, the chamber does not sell land so the ones that exist are expensive!🚵🏻🌲

Tengo que confesarles algo que es personal, cada vez que paso por esta zona hay una casa la cual estoy encantado con ella siempre le digo a mi esposa que esta es la casa de mi sueno! les juro que si un dia tenia el dinero suficiente para comprar una casa lo haria por esta zona es demasiado bonita y esta cerca de la montana! no hay manera que nos aburramos de ese encantador paisaje, pero como les comente en el video las casas son demasiado costosas porque como es un area protegida la camara no vende terrenos entonces los que existen son costosos!🚩🧑🏻‍🏫

la aldea es bastante pequena no debe haber mas de 50 casas, si vemos en la foto del drone a lo lejos estan las otras tres aldeas, a partir de la invasion arabe en Portugal toda esta zona fue abandonada, no habian personas viviendo aqui y fue una parte de la historia peculiar porque solo se aprovecho el puerto y era la unica forma de hacer dinero en la region por parte de los Moros! sin embargo ya en el siglo XII, XIII con las invasiones de Portugal y su reconquista todo el territorio paso a ser Portugues y a partir del siglo XV Azeitão mas nunca fue abandonado y es una zona con una alta fuente de economia agricola y turistica!

Ya estuve varias veces en la aldea de Pichileiros, es hermosa porque esta en medio de la montana y al fondo se ve la sierra! es ideal para el camping, andar en bicicletas o mi actividad favorita senderismo, tienes opciones como hospedarte en un hotel a 80euros por noche en medio de la naturaleza, sin embargo el area tambien tiene historia por aqui se construyeron algunos fuertes militares para proteger el area costera de Setubal, y mi intencion con el post de hoy es eso visitar los fuertes para conocer su historia y ver los paisajes de los alrededores! puedes hacer la ruta caminando o en vehiculo yo como estuve con mi esposa lo hice desde carro! te tomara una hora aproximadamente🌲🚩

However, from a distance you can do it! However, I saw on the map that there is a path that runs along the beach where you can go under the fort!🧭🚙

Este es nuestra segunda parada llegamos frente al fuerte "Santiago do Outão" el cual en mi opinion personal es uno de los mejores preservados del pais nunca vi uno tan bonito y cuidado, supongo que es tambien porque se convirtio en un sanatorio, sin embargo la visita vale pena, visitarlo no es facil porque no hay carreteras, la unica que existe solo tiene acceso al sanatorio osea como turista es dificil acceder! sin embargo a lo lejos puedes hacerlo! sin embargo vi en el mapa que hay un camino que bordea la playa donde puedes pasar debajo del fuerte!🛥️🌅

A partir de 1572 para proteger el frente de Setubal se hicieron remodelaciones fortificando las murallas, pues en esa altura habia muchos peligros de pirateria!🚩🧭

Mas reciente en el siglo XIX el fuerte se desmantelo y fue transformado en presion, posteriormente en 1600 se construyo tambien el faro, en la actualidad es un sanatorio y digamos que no es 100% un local turistico con facil acceso, menos mal que con mi drone te puedo mostrar esta maravilla arquitectonica con estilo gotico🌅🛥️!

Albarquel Fort🌍/fuerte de "Santiago do Outão"🚩

We located this fort here: (38° 30.667' N 8° 54.795' W) this one is easily accessible, it is on the beach and it is much more recent and modern, with the car or walking we can get the coordinates, this one here dates From the 17th century, it was part of the "blue stretch" defensive line, which is a set of 4 military forts whose function was to protect the coastal area of Setubal against an imminent invasion or against piracy!🚩🌅

Este fuerte lo localizamos aqui: (38° 30.667' N 8° 54.795' O) este si es de facil acceso esta en la playa y es mucho mas reciente y moderno, con el carro o caminando podemos conseguir las coordenadas, este de aqui data del siglo XVII, formo parte de la linea defensiva "tramo azul", que son un conjunto de 4 fuertes militares cuya funcion era proteger el area costera de setubal ante una inminente invasion o contra la pirateria!🌍🧭

Posteriormente luego de darse de baja el fuerte se hicieron unas actualizaciones y se utilizo en el siglo XIX como defensa moderna para proteger al pais por el area de las costas maritima, en el 2004 se penso en remodelarlo para crear un hotel desde entonces pertenece a la camara municipal y a sido asi hace mas de 32 anos! actualmente es como un pequeno museo! 🚙

Hello fellow travelers, again returning to one of my favorite communities now that the weather improved, the first thing I did was run to take some outdoor shots, today I traveled just under 20km to the village "do meco" south of Lisbon to photograph and make a film of the "Do Meco" beach, which, as you can see, its name was placed around the village! Let's enjoy its dunes and its transparent waters! At the same time we are going to know the best height of the year to visit it and its characteristics! enjoy the experience!🚩🌲

Hola amigos viajeros, de nuevo retomando una de mis comunidades favoritas ahora que el clima mejoro lo primero que hice fue correr a realizar unas tomas al aire libre, para hoy viaje poco menos de 20km para la aldea "do meco" al sur de Lisboa para fotografiar y hacer un filmaje de la playa "Do Meco" que como puedes notar su nombre se le coloco por la aldea! vamos a disfrutar de sus dunas y sus aguas transparentes! al mismo tiempo vamos a conocer la mejor altura del ano para visitarla y sus caracteristicas! disfruta de la experiencia!🌷🌻

About the village🌍/Sobre la aldea 🚩

This post will be short since there is not much history of the place, the village "do meco" was populated in the 60s centuries ago, it did not have any type of interest in terms of resources, that is why the beach was only discovered in the 80s, a village with just under 2 thousand people in a privileged area of Sesimbra, close to many beaches, an estuary and a nature reserve! For drone lovers it is perfect because you don't need permission to fly it! In the surrounding area there are other villages a few kilometers away with remains of fossil material, which links the Sesimbra area as a historical place in Portugal!🌲🚩

Este post sera corto ya que no existe mucha historia del lugar, la aldea "do meco" fue poblada en la decada de los 60 siglos atras no tenia algun tipo de interes en cuanto a recursos por eso la playa solo fue descubierta en los 80, una aldea con poco menos de 2mil personas en una zona privilegiada de Sesimbra proxima de muchas playas, hestuario y reserva naturales! para los amantes de los drones es perfecta pues no necesitas permiso para pilotearlo! en los alrededores hay otras aldeas a pocos kilometros con restos de material fosil lo que vincula la zona de sesimbra como lugar historico de portugal!🌍🧭

On the beach🌍/Sobre la playa🚩

The beach is "fused" with the Albufeira lagoon, so it is almost impossible not to describe the beach without photographing the lagoon. This was one of the first beaches in Portugal classified with a blue flag, meaning a beach that meets the requirements to be suitable for taking swim without danger of contamination! The water temperature is acceptable for being from the Atlantic with about 19 degrees to 20 degrees in summer, this being the ideal season to swim! But be careful, the weather in summer can reach 40 degrees so be careful with sunstroke!🚩🌲🌻

La playa esta "fusionada" con la laguna de albufeira por eso es casi imposible no describir la playa sin fotografiar la laguna, esta fue una de las primeras playas de Portugal clasificada con bandera azul osea una playa que reune los requisitos para ser apta para tomar nadar sin peligro de contaminacion! la temperatura del agua es aceptable para ser del atlantico con unos 19 grados a 20 en verano siendo esta la temporada ideal para banarte! pero cuidado el clima en verano puede alcanzar los 40 grados asi que se precavido con una insolacion! 🌷🌻

The characteristics of the beach will depend on where you are, the further you are to the river or lagoon the water will be less salty and greener due to the algae, if you move away and walk towards Sesimbra then it will be 100% Atlantic water! Here the tide is a little less aggressive than at the mouth of the river! The beach is ideal for water sports including fishing and surfing! It has pretty good access, ample parking and even a restaurant. What's bad? It doesn't have anything to protect you from the sun, bring an umbrella!🚢🛥️

Las caracteristicas de la playa dependera del lugar donde estes, mientras mas al rio o laguna estes el agua sera menos salada y mas verde por las algas, si te alejas y caminas hacia sesimbra entonces sera agua 100% del atlantico! aqui la marea es un poco menos agresiva que en la desembocadura del rio! la playa es ideal para deportes acuaticos inclusive pesca y surf! tiene un acceso bastante bueno, estacionamiento amplio y hasta restaurante lo malo? no tiene para protegerte del sol, lleva una sombrilla!🚢🌍

Here we have another beautiful landscape photograph, the beach has a natural system of dunes unique to Portugal which makes the place a protected reserve, this extension of dunes expands to more than 10km along the entire coast and constitutes a barrier natural protector that helps break waves and sand sedimentation!

aqui tenemos otra bonita fotografia paisajistica, la playa cuenta con un sistema natural de Dunas unico de Portugal lo que hace que el lugar se encuentre como reserva protegida, esta extension de dunas se expande a mas de 10km por toda la costa y constituye a una barrera protectora natural que ayuda a romper el oleaje y la sedimentacion de la arena!

Dejo aqui el IG de la empres KayakMaracaibo la cual se las recomiendo 100% tienen varias actividades, en realidad mas de cinco por eso tienes muchas actividades para escoger para mi una de las mas interesantes era esta por el paisaje y la dificultad! digamos que es para personas con experiencias, si eres novato o es tu primera vez no te recomiendo hacer esta actividad es bastante exigente! y si son dos personas la dificultad se eleva un 50% porque todo la fuerza la hace la persona de atras y el del frente guia! pagamos 50dolares por los dos pagas la mitad y luego la mitad cuando terminas la actividad!🚩🚣‍♂️🚣‍♀️

Route⛵🌍/Recorrido🚩

As you can see, the route is approximately 14km by Kayak, it is much faster than walking because of the tide, but it is completed in 2.5 hours, despite marking 14km, the instructor told us that it is reduced to 7km due to some shortcuts that are taken through the mangroves, Really, since I have experience, the route demanded a lot from me! There are two changes in the color of the waters and the tide because first we start in the lake and then we move to the mangroves here the color changes and the tide becomes softer!🌅⛵🌍

Como puedes ver la ruta es aproximadamente 14km en Kayak es mucho mas rapida que caminando por causa de la marea pero se completa en 2.5horas apesar de marcar 14km el instructor nos dijo que se reduce a 7km por unos atajos que se toman por los manglares, de verdad yo que tengo experiencia me exigio bastante el recorrido! hay dos cambios en el color de las aguas y la marea porque primero comenzamos en el lago y luego pasamos a los manglares aqui cambia la coloracion y la marea se hace mas suave!🐟🚣‍♂️

Before going to the lake we do stretching exercises to avoid injuries and improve our performance since we are going to row for many hours, then our instructors who accompany us throughout the experience give us a class with several tips to row correctly and also to avoid falling out of the kayak, which happens frequently because their design is quite light and unstable! each model has a different balance! If you don't feel comfortable with your kayak you can change!🧭🌏👩‍🏫

antes de ir al lago hacemos ejercicios de estiramiento que es para evitar lesionarnos y mejorar nuestro desempeño ya que vamos a remar muchas horas, luego nuestros instructores los cuales nos acompañan en toda la experiencia nos dan una clase con varios tips para remar correctamente y tambien para evitar caernos del kayak cosa que ocurre con frecuencia porque el diseño de los mismos es bastante liviano e inestables! cada modelo tiene un equilibrio diferente! si no te sientes comodo con tu kayak puedes cambiar!🍍🚙

I decided to accompany my wife in the double kayak to go together and share a better experience. I took the opportunity to explain many things to her about these ecosystems. Previously, I did some bird studies in mangroves so I could identify each bird that appeared in front of us! Many of the ones we saw were: flamingos, herons, kingfishers, small insect-eating birds, sometimes raccoons are seen but since they are threatened it is difficult to see them! We saw 3 species of crabs!🌏🌍⛵

Decidi acompañar a mi esposa en el kayak duplo para ir juntos y compartir una mejor experiencia, aproveche para explicarle muchas cosas sobre estos ecosistemas anteriormente hice algunos estudios de aves en manglares entonces podia identificar cada ave que apareciese frente de nosotros! muchas de las que vimos fueron: flamengos, garzas, martin pescador, aves pequeñas insectivoras, a veces se observan mapaches pero como estan amenazados es dificil verlos! vimos 3 especies de cangrejos!🦀🚣‍♀️

Beautiful landscapes⛵🌍/Hermoso paisajes🚩

It was a shame not to be able to use the phones to record because there were many beautiful landscapes within the canals, but I managed to do what I could with my Gopro, we passed through two concrete bridges, one of which you can see in the video, we also passed through a section called: "chamber of love" which is like a closed space full of logs and beautiful landscapes that give the place a romantic touch! It was fun when we got closer to the houses because we saw children bathing in the lake and playing!🌳🧭

fue una pena no poder usar los telefonos para grabar porque habian muchos paisajes bonitos dentro de los canales, pero logre hacer lo que pude con mi Gopro, pasamos por dos puentes de concreto que uno de ellos puedes ver en el video, tambien pasamos por una seccion llamada: "camara del amor" que es como un espacio cerrado lleno de troncos y bonitos paisajes que ambientan el lugar dando un toque romantico! fue divertido cuando nos acercamos a las casas porque vimos niños bañandose en el lago y jugando!🌾🌿

The secret side of Maracaibo⛵🌍/El lado secreto de maracaibo🚩

When we think of Maracaibo, an oil city, we never imagine that landscapes like these can be found here! In reality there are many secret things that few know about the city that gave its name to Venezuela, to enter here is to relive how the indigenous people lived or still live, many are dedicated to raising pigs and chickens and clearly fishing is essential!🧭🚣‍♀️

Cuando pensamos en Maracaibo una ciudad petrolera jamas imaginamos que paisajes como estos podemos conseguirlos aqui! en realidad hay muchas cosas secretas de las cuales pocos conocen de la ciudad que le dio el nombre a Venezuela, adentrarnos aqui es revivir como vivieron o aun viven los indigenas, muchos se dedican a criar cerdos y gallina y claramente la pesca es primordial!🌍🚣‍♂️

Arrival at the lagoon⛵🌍/Llegada a la laguna🚩

When we arrive at this place we have completed half of the route, we left at 9am to avoid the midday heat, we arrived at noon, here we made a 30-minute stop to stretch our feet, rest, and hydrate. We saw how the people who literally live on this small island live, they were humble conditions, happy people! The most important thing for us is a lot of respect and I never felt in danger or unsafe during the entire activity!🌷🌻

cuando llegamos a este sitio hemos completado la mitad del recorrido, salimos a las 9am para evitar el calor del medio dia, llegamos al medio dia, aqui hicimos una parada de 30minutos para estirar los pies, descasar, hidratarnos. Vimos como las personas que habitan en literalmente esta pequeña isla viven, eran condiciones humildes, personas alegres! lo mas importante para nosotros mucho respeto y nunca me senti en peligro o inseguro en toda la actividad!🌅🚩

The experience was so fun! We had a great time, we laughed, we beat against the branches countless times, we learned much more about how to direct a kayak in situations where there is no space and a lot of current! we exercise! I would definitely repeat the activity!😳😎

fue tan divertida la experiencia! la pasamos de maravilla, nos reimos, batimos contra las ramas inmensas veces, aprendimos mucho mas de como dirigir kayak en situaciones donde no hay espacio y mucha corriente! nos ejercitamos! sin duda repetia la actividad!🍂🍍🙎‍♂️
