I’m posting late this week, not because I didn’t record on time, but because I just wasn’t feeling my entry. I kept hoping I’d have time to re-record and make it better, but between the cut-off time and my busy schedule, that didn’t happen. So here we are.

It actually took me quite a while to record both parts, and by the time I was ready to post, the cut-off time had already passed. And as if that wasn’t enough, the day I finally decided to post, 3Speak went down, and my network was a complete mess. It really felt like the universe was against me.

But I still wanted to post. I promised myself I’d be more disciplined with posting, and I don’t want to start making excuses. No matter how things go, I want to keep up my streak and show up every week.

This week, I covered No Time To Die by Billie Eilish. If you know me, you already know how much I love Billie Eilish, so this song was a big deal for me. It’s such an emotional song about betrayal, but also about strength. About standing tall and never letting the person who hurt you see you weak. That’s why, in the video, you’ll see me smiling through the pain. No matter how much it hurts, they will never see me cry. Never.

Now, let me just tell you what happened. I actually made a cover before this one, but I hated it. You know that feeling when you finish something, and immediately, your brain is like, Yeah… no, this is not it? That was me. So I went back, did it again, and this time, I was really satisfied with how it turned out.

Like, there have been moments where I’ve felt like okay, this is it, I’m stuck, like there are just too many mountains and obstacles and no matter how hard I try, I’m not moving. And in those moments, it’s so easy to feel like what’s the point? Like am I even getting anywhere? And I know I’m not the only one who has felt that way.

But one thing about life is that even when it feels like nothing is changing, as long as you keep pushing, you’re still moving. You might not see it immediately but progress is happening. And that’s why I love this song so much, it’s such a reminder that the journey itself is important. The struggles, the setbacks, the slow progress, it’s all part of it.

Welcome to week 29! 🤗 So, this week’s theme was the 90s, and you already know the 90s had hits on hits. Picking a song wasn’t easy because, honestly, that era was something else. But after thinking it through, I went with Unbreak My Heart by Toni Braxton, released in 1996.

This week I decided to step out of my comfort zone and do something I haven't done here before—rap.

Yes, I know, crazy, right? Most of you know me as a singer, but last night I decided to write a rap song, which is going to be the first original song i dropped on this community.

I thought about polishing it up and making it sound "perfect," but then I realized I loved it raw, just as it came to me.

The song is called Life Happens. It's inspired by some of the tough things I've seen happening around me recently. Sometimes life throws things at us, and it hurts, but in the end, it's just life happening.

In the chorus, I say, "I hope one day the sun will shine, I pray one day the sun will shine." That line hits deep for me because it's a reminder that, no matter what, brighter days are ahead.

This is me, stepping into something new, something scary, and I hope you guys feel the rawness and realness in it. It's not perfect, but that's okay because it's real. Hope you enjoy it 🩷🩷.

Every day, I find myself praying to God to be better, to grow in this journey of faith. It’s a journey that isn’t always easy. There are struggles, moments of doubt, and times when I feel like I can’t move forward on my own. But in those moments, I remember that my strength comes from God.

For this week'theme, we had to sing a Disney song, and I instantly went for "Beauty and the Beast" from the movie. This song has been one of my all-time faves because I literally grew up watching the movie on repeat. Belle was my girl—she's obsessed with books, and honestly, same!

When I was younger, I heard people making weird comments about the movie, like they were fixated on the whole bestiality angle. But honestly, that’s just people oversexualizing things. The real message is so much deeper and way more beautiful. It’s about looking past someone’s exterior and loving them for who they are inside—even the parts that aren’t “perfect.” That’s the vibe I wanted to bring to my performance, and I hope it came through. For week 224, I sang an acoustic version of "Fireflies" by Owl City.

This song perfectly captures the magical, carefree nights of summertime, where fireflies light up the sky and warm breezes fill the air (just as the lyrics says).

The lyrics and melody remind me of those memorable summer nights I spent outdoors under the stars with my siblings and cousins when we traveled for vacation.
