There are many enigmatic things in the world, in life, and even people who are enigmatic. I’ve always loved interesting things, the background to things, knowing a little more, mysteries and magic. But not magic understood as something invisible, typical of witches or sorceresses, but real magic, that energy which cannot be seen, but can be felt. A glance can convey a lot of energy, for example.

At first glance, today’s design might seem a bit dark, as if it belonged to the occult world or the dark realm, but I wanted to create it this way to highlight certain colours and objects, such as the roses, the butterfly, or the colour purple, a symbol of transformation. I also love photo frames and castles, as well as old-fashioned papers, so I liked giving it an antique feel, plus the woman has a strong gaze and elegant attire. I created it without overthinking it, but rather let my intuition and creativity guide me.

Hay muchas cosas enigmáticas en el mundo en la vida y hasta personas que lo son. Siempre me han gustado las cosas interesantes, los trasfondos de las cosas, saber un poco más, los misterios y la magia. Pero no la magia entendida como algo invisible propio de las brujas o hechiceras sino la magia real, esa energía que no se ve, pero se siente. Una mirada puede dar mucha energía, por ejemplo.

El diseño de hoy, en principio, parecería un poco oscuro, como propio del mundo oculto o el plano oscuro, pero quise realizarlo así para resaltar ciertos colores y ciertos objetos, como las rosas, la mariposa o el color morado, símbolo de las transmutaciones. También me encantan los marcos de fotos y castillos, como así también los papeles antiguos, por lo que me gustó darle un toque antiguo, además de que la mujer tiene una mirada fuerte y una vestimenta elegante. Lo hice sin pensar demasiado, sino más bien dejé que me guiara la intuición y la creatividad.

Design process

The design was created entirely in Photoshop CS6 without the use of AI, using 11 royalty free images spread across 20 layers.

To create the background, I made a layer with a plain beige colour, onto which I placed two images in shades of brown, creating a layer mask on one of them so that I could blend them together using the gradient tool. Then, in the centre, I placed the image of the mirror in a dark setting and, to make it blend better with the background, I applied an Overlay blend mode. On either side, I placed the frames, split the castle in half and placed those halves inside the frames without any blend modes.

Building on this, I worked on the image of the ribbons with flowers across four layers, erasing parts of them as needed on each layer and using the ‘Darken’, ‘Multiply’ and ‘Spot Light’ blending modes. On top of this, I placed the image of the woman, having first erased the background, across three layers, one of which consists solely of the left lock of hair, which was very dark compared to the background, and I applied the ‘Screen’ blending mode to it. On the other two layers, I used Hard Light and Normal blending modes.

For the butterflies, I created two layers, one of them smaller, and flipped it horizontally using the Overlay blending mode. As for the roses, with one of the images I selected each one and placed them in the corners, enhancing brightness and contrast; and with the other image, I selected the rose, copied and pasted it, then went to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation and changed the hue to purple.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

El diseño está realizado completamente en el programa Photoshop CS6 sin uso de IA con 11 imágenes sin derechos de autor distribuidas en 20 capas.

Para crear el fondo hice una capa con un color beige liso sobre la cual coloqué dos imágenes de un color dentro de la gama de los marrones, creando una máscara de capa en una de ellas para que con la herramienta degradado fusionarlas ambas. Luego en medio puse la imagen del espejo, en un entorno oscuro y para que quede más acorde con el fondo le puse la fusión de superponer. A ambos lados coloqué los marcos, dividí el castillo a la mitad y coloqué esas mitades dentro de los marcos sin fusiones.

Sobre lo anterior trabaje la imagen de los lazos con las flores en cuatro capas, borrando partes de ellas según conveniencia en cada capa y usando las fusiones de color más oscuro, multiplicar y luz focal. Sobre esto puse la imagen de la mujer, borrando previamente el fondo, en tres capas donde una de ellas es sólo el mechón de cabello izquierdo, que era muy oscuro respecto del fondo y le di la fusión de luminosidad. En las otras dos capas usé luz fuerte y normal.

Con las mariposas hice dos capas, una de ellas más pequeñas y volteándola horizontalmente con la fusión de superponer. En cuanto a las rosas, con una de las imágenes seleccioné cada una y las coloqué en las esquinas realzando brillo y contraste y con la otra imagen, seleccioné la rosa, copié y pegué, para luego en imagen - ajustes - tono saturación, le cambié la tonalidad a morado.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

Today’s design aims, in a way, to celebrate spring, its beginning, and, with that in mind, the rebirth not only of nature with its new shoots and beautiful flowers, especially those with an intoxicating scent, such as the blossoms of lemon and orange trees, but also the rebirth that can occur within us. While all seasons of the year have their charm, spring holds a special meaning; everything blooms, everything in nature sprouts and is reborn, just as a person can be after a period of winter or hibernation.

Spring means green and lots of color, bright, fresh colors, and that brings joy to the spirit and to life, which is why I associate it so strongly with rebirth or renewal. Seeing the environment change from bare-branched trees to sprouting buds speaks of hope, strength, and positive energy. As within, so without, everything manifests on the outside, but often, seeing a beautiful setting also delights the eyes and the soul, renewing vibrations and energy. For all these reasons, and for those who are just beginning this season, I say: Happy Spring!🌷

El diseño de hoy tiene como misión u objetivo, de alguna manera, celebrar la primavera, el inicio de ella y con eso en mente también el renacimiento no sólo de la naturaleza con sus retoños y hermosas flores, sobre todo aquellas que tienen un aroma embriagador, como las flores de azar de limoneros y naranjos, sino también el renacimiento que se puede dar en el interior. Si bien todas las estaciones del año tienen su encanto, la primavera tiene un significado especial, todo florece, todo en la naturaleza brota y renace como lo puede hacer una persona luego de un período de invierno o letargo.

La primavera significa verde y mucho color, colores brillantes, nuevos y eso alegra el espíritu y la vida, por eso lo relaciono tanto con el renacimiento o resurgimiento. Ver el ambiente cambiar de lo árboles con ramas sin hojas a ver como surgen los retoños habla de esperanza, de fuerza y de buena energía. Así como es adentro es afuera, todo se manifiesta en el exterior, pero también muchas veces ver un entorno hermoso alegra la vista y también el interior, renovando vibraciones y energía. Por todo eso, y para los que en este momento están en el comienzo de esta estación, les digo: ¡Feliz primavera!🌷

Design process

The design was created entirely in Photoshop CS6 without the use of AI, using 12 royalty-free images arranged across 13 layers.

In today’s case, the design is very simple: a cheerful, colorful collage with a vintage touch that could, for example, be printed as a sign, a poster, or a card, it all depends on each person’s creativity. But here I didn’t want to use too many blends; instead, I wanted to let my creativity run free and overlay different layers with images and illustrations, occasionally changing the tones, scales, and positions, and rotating some of them. The idea was to let myself go, play, and not think, but rather let my hands act on their own.

For the background, I chose a watercolor image in orange tones, symbolizing energy and communication, on top of which I placed two images: one of a landscape, which I cropped slightly and applied a darker color blend to, rotated, and placed on the right side of the design. The other was a piece of a leaf with lines without a background, which I placed on the left side, also rotating it. In this last case, I applied a drop shadow style to the image to separate it from the background and give a sense of volume.

I worked on the three flower images: one resembles a frame that runs along the edges of the design, and for that one I used a darker color blend. In another image, I changed the color from blue to purple, and finally, I placed the image of the colorful daisies at the bottom. Then I used a watercolor image in shades of pink and yellow and placed it in two parts of the design, changing the rotation, position, and scale.

For both the mushroom image and the bird image that I placed on the blank sheet, I used the darker color blend. This is the blend that blends most seamlessly with the background. Then I placed the image with the word “spring” in a corner of the design with a black stroke and drop shadow, and on the blank leaf I placed the last two images: a circular frame of leaves to which I applied the “hard light” blend mode, and inside it, the other image that speaks of love for spring.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

En el caso de hoy el diseño es muy sencillo, un collage alegre, colorido con un toque vintage que podría por ejemplo imprimirse, ser un cartel, un poster, una tarjeta, eso depende de la creatividad de cada uno. Pero aquí no quise usar tantas fusiones sino más bien dejar libre la creatividad y superponer distintas capas con las imágenes e ilustraciones, cambiando en algunas ocasiones la tonalidad, las escalas, posiciones, rotando algunas. La idea era dejarme llevar, jugar y no pensar, sino que mis manos actúen solas.

Para el fondo elegí una imagen de acuarela en tonos anaranjados, simbolizando la energía y la comunicación, sobre la cual puse dos imágenes, una de un paisaje, que recorté un poco y coloqué la fusión de color más oscuro, la roté y puse a la derecha del diseño. La otra un trozo de hoja con renglones sin fondo que coloqué en el lado izquierdo, también rotándola. En este caso último le puse a la imagen un estilo de capa de sombra paralela para separarla del fondo y dar sensación de volumen.

Trabajé las tres imágenes de flores, una asimila a un marco que ocupa los bordes del diseño, en ella usé la fusión de color más oscuro. En otra de las imágenes le cambié el color de azul a morado y por último la imagen de las margaritas de colores la coloqué en la parte de abajo. Luego usé una imagen de acuarela en tonos rosados y amarillos y la coloqué en dos partes de diseño cambiando rotación, posición y escala.

Tanto en la imagen de los hongos como del ave que puse sobre la hoja en blanco usé la fusión de color más oscuro. Es la fusión que más entremezcla con el fondo. Luego la imagen que tiene la palabra primavera la coloqué en una esquina del diseño con estilo de capa de trazo negro y sombra paralela y sobre la hoja en blanco puse las dos últimas imágenes, un marco circular de hojas al cual le coloqué la fusión de luz fuerte y dentro la otra imagen que habla sobre el amor por la primavera.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

Music is always an inspiration to me; in fact, I listen to music all day long, and depending on the occasion, what I need, or perhaps the mindset I’m seeking, one song or another is playing on my computer or my phone.

But when you’re not in a familiar setting like home, listening to music whilst out and about, for example, or surrounded by nature, can be a real surprise, and yet so much more than that. That music, whether because we recognise it, because we like the instrument, or because of the surroundings, can bring back memories, make us think and reflect, and can even stir up strong emotions, and why not, convey messages to us? Music is always inspiring.

This is even more so when music is blended with nature and fantasy; it leads to a world of very powerful thoughts and emotions, at least for me.

When I reached this part of the journey in this wonderful show, I knew immediately that this video had to be in this community, and for many reasons. The first is that the emotion it stirred in me was immense; combining nature, butterflies and the violin is perfect for me, but the message is also powerful.

Anyone who has seen the film Alice in Wonderland will know that, like The Little Prince, it is full of enduring messages and lessons. Butterflies, which start out as caterpillars, symbolise change, transformation and metamorphosis in life, and standing there in that moment before that butterfly-woman playing the violin reminded me of all those changes, both internal and external.

But it also signifies wisdom. I recalled the film when the caterpillar called Absolem, or the blue caterpillar, asked Alice profound questions: ‘Who are you?’ He never asked her name, but whether she knew who she was, which is not the same thing. These are existential questions.

The violin music, my favourite instrument, was playing and the butterfly was greeting everyone present, but I was lost in my thoughts, carried away by that beautiful melody. It gave me such a sense of peace to be there at that moment, in that place, listening to the sweet music. I didn’t mind that there were so many people around; I felt as though there was no one else there.

I remembered how many times, whilst listening to violin music, I’d been inspired to write poems, thoughts and even stories. The butterfly woman, playing the violin, created a sort of hypnotic effect; what’s more, the venue had been specially prepared, complete with smoke, just like in the film when the caterpillar smokes and is near Alice.

The caterpillar and then the butterfly symbolise the oracle in the film, and in real life the butterfly represents precisely that: the learning that comes from introspection and looking within. I have walked that path, and although it is hard, it is worth it. Just as the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly is like dying and being reborn, the same has happened to me in my life. In fact, I always say that I died in the ocean and was reborn when I touched land again.

That violin music was playing, and it was so sweet and harmonious that it even transported me to a dreamlike world, and I quickly saw in my mind many memories, experiences, their intensity and the emotion. The violin has a very powerful hold over me, as if its sounds reach straight to the heart; I think that’s why it inspires me so much. For example, when I write, my fingers fly across the words, without my conscious mind realising what they’re doing, whilst tears fall. I always say that if something I write makes me cry, it’s perfect, at least for me.

The video is very short, but beautiful. I also wanted to complement it with clips from the film and its soundtrack. I believe everything is connected: nature, butterflies, change, introspection and the violín, they form a whole.

Today’s design is also inspired by someone special to me, to mark her birthday tomorrow. It’s for my friend Loli. As I closed my eyes, I thought about everything she likes, who she is, what she feels, her essence, and what matters most to her; and whilst I can’t capture it all in a single design, I at least wanted to highlight the important things.

She loves the colour blue, which is why the whole design has that hue, though there’s also a touch of lilac and pink. I wanted to place each key element within a picture frame because she has decorated her home with pictures herself; she paints the frames herself and often the pictures too. Family is important to her, especially as a mother of three children; her three sons mean the world to her. She loves flowers, especially sunflowers and daisies; this reminds me that a few years ago I painted her a picture of sunflowers for her birthday.

And every day she loves the city of Málaga more and more, where we often meet up for a coffee or mate and go to exhibitions, wander the streets and I show her around the city. I love the look of happiness on her face after every outing; that’s what matters most – seeing friends happy. That’s why I wish you, Loli, a… Very happy birthday!💗

El diseño de hoy también está inspirado en alguien especial para mí y con motivo de su cumpleaños que será en el día de mañana. Se trata de mi amiga Loli. Al cerrar los ojos, pensé en todo lo que a ella le gusta, lo que es, lo que siente, su esencia, aquello que para ella es más importante y si bien no puedo plasmarlo todo en un diseño al menos quise exponer cosas importantes.

Ella ama el color azul, por eso todo el diseño tiene esa tonalidad, aunque también algo de lila y rosa. Cada punto importante quería colocarlo en un marco de cuadro porque ella misma ha decorado su hogar con cuadros, ella misma pinta los marcos y muchas veces los cuadros. Entonces la familia es importante, en especial haber sido madre de tres niños, sus tres hijos lo son todo para ella. Le encantan las flores, sobre todo los girasoles y las margaritas, esto me recuerda que hace unos años le pinté un cuadro con girasoles para su cumpleaños.

Y cada día ama más la ciudad de Málaga, donde muchas veces nos reunimos a tomar un café o mate y vamos a exposiciones, recorremos las calles y la llevo a conocer la ciudad. Me encanta la cara de felicidad que tiene luego de cada paseo, eso es lo más importante, ver felices a los amigos. Por eso te deseo Loli un… ¡Muy feliz cumpleaños!💗

Design process

The design was created entirely in Photoshop CS6 without the use of AI, using 13 royalty free images spread across 25 layers.

For the background, I chose an image of old paper, which I rotated by 90 degrees and brightened. On top of this, I placed the first watercolour image using a linear under-exposure blend, and on top of that I placed the second watercolour image across two layers in different positions, using a darker colour blend. Then, with the third watercolour image, I selected several parts of it and, separately, copied and pasted them into the design in different positions and at different scales, using a darker colour blend.

I placed one of the images of the woman on the right-hand side of the design using the darker colour blend, and then began working on the frames with the other images behind each of them. In the case of the children, I selected the three boys and merged them, but I didn’t have to do that with the other images. I placed the frames on top of each of them, and for the children’s image I put a piece of old paper behind it so they would stand out better. The blending modes used were: Spot Light, Hard Light and Darken. I set the frames to Normal mode.

Next, I worked on the flowers. The vase of flowers was painted in two layers, having first erased the background, using blends of darker colours and strong highlights. The coloured flowers on the left were painted in two layers, using multiply and spot light blends. And finally, the flowers in the corners and the one at the top were painted in three layers using strong highlights and darker colour blends.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

Para el fondo elegí una imagen de papel antiguo, al que volteé 90 grados y le di más luz. Sobre él coloqué la primera acuarela con una fusión de subexposición lineal y sobre esto puse la segunda acuarela en dos capas con distintas posiciones y la fusión de color más oscuro. Luego con la tercera imagen de acuarela seleccioné varias de sus partes y por separado copié y pegué en el diseño, en distintas posiciones y con distintas escalas y fusión de color más oscuro.

Una de las imágenes de mujer la coloqué en el lado derecho del diseño con la fusión de color más oscuro y luego comencé a trabajar los marcos con las otras imágenes que están detrás de cada uno de ellos. En el caso de los niños, seleccioné los tres niños varones y los uní, pero en las otras imágenes no tuve que hacer ese trabajo. Los marcos los coloqué encima de cada una de ellas y en la de los niños puse un trozo del papel antiguo detrás para que se vean mejor. Las fusiones usadas han sido: luz focal, luz fuerte y oscurecer. Los marcos los puse en modo normal.

Luego trabajé las flores. El jarrón con flores en dos capas, borrando previamente el fondo, con las fusiones de color más oscuro y luz fuerte. Las flores de colores a la izquierda en dos capas, con fusiones de multiplicar y luz focal. Y finalmente las flores en los ángulos y una que está arriba, en tres capas con fusiones de luz fuerte y color más oscuro.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

Today's design has a special purpose, where the sea, water, painting, music, especially piano and guitar, combined with the beauty and extraordinary things that the sea offers us, such as dolphins, all intertwined in musical scores, especially classical music, come together to give a gift to someone very special to me, on a very special date.

Next week, my friend and sister in life will turn 50, and it is not just any birthday but a special one, so I want to give her this gift, created especially for her, but in a public way. She has always supported me in everything; she is my right-hand woman, my sister. I tried to bring together all her passions in a single design, although there are others, such as aikido, which is her philosophy of life.

Today, through this design, this collage, I want to wish you a very happy birthday, my friend, from afar and with much love. Thank you always, I love you very much.💗

El diseño de hoy tiene un propósito especial, donde el mar, el agua, la pintura, la música, sobre todo de piano y guitarra, unido a la belleza y las cosas extraordinarias que nos ofrece ese mar, como los delfines, entremezclado todo eso en partituras de música, en especial la clásica, se unen para dar un regalo a alguien muy especial para mí, en una fecha muy especial.

La semana que viene mi amiga y hermana de la vida cumplirá 50 años y no es un aniversario cualquiera sino uno especial, por lo que quiero darle este presente, creado especialmente para ella, pero en forma pública. Ella siempre me ha apoyado en todo, es mi mano derecha, mi hermana. Traté de reunir en un sólo diseños sus pasiones, aunque hay otras como el aikido que es su filosofía de vida.

Hoy mediante este diseño, este collage quiero desearte un muy feliz cumpleaños amiga, desde la distancia y con mucho cariño. Gracias siempre, te quiero muchísimo.💗

Design process

The design was created entirely in Photoshop CS6, without AI, using ten royalty-free images distributed across 26 layers.

I wanted to create a background that blended painting and sea, so I used a watercolour image of blue colours and a sea, but not realistic, rather painted, which I placed over the watercolour in two layers with darker colour blends and soft light.

I created and intermingled the following layers, arranging them in the order that I thought looked best. I used an image of a musical score that says Beethoven, to which I applied the darker colour blend, and then I selected parts of it, the tips, copied them and pasted them onto other layers, distributing them throughout the design, especially around the edges without blends.

Then I took the other image of a musical score and also selected parts of it and made several layers, some without blends and others with darker colours, erasing part of the edges with a textured brush to intermingle them with the rest of the images.

In the centre of the design, I placed the image of the whale with a darker colour blend and in two corners the image of the corals with a lighter colour blend. I divided the image of the horses in two and arranged the parts in two layers with darker colour blends and strong light, erasing quite a bit of the background beforehand.

Then I placed the guitar and piano in the design, in two layers, with darker and normal colour blends in places where they would look good with the sheet music.

Finally, I worked on the image of the dolphin, arranging it in several layers: a very large one that gives texture to the design with a soft light blend, two in the centre that are the most important, with focal light and lighter colour blends, erasing some areas in the latter, and then in various parts of the design and in different positions and scales, I placed the dolphin's face, always with a focal light blend.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño está realizado completamente en el programa Photoshop CS6, sin uno de IA, con diez imágenes libres de derechos de autos distribuídas en 26 capas.

Quería crear un fondo entremezclando pintura y mar y para ello usé una imagen de acuarela de colores azules y un mar pero no realista sino en pintura, el cual dispuse sobre la acuarela en dos capas con fusiones de color más oscuro y luz suave.

Las capas que vienen a continuación las fue realizando y entremezclando, de acuerdo me parecían quedaban mejor en el orden. Usé una imagen de partitura que dice Beethoven a la cual puse la fusión de color más oscuro y luego seleccione partes de ella, las puntas, las copié y pequé en otras capas, distribuyéndolas por el diseño, sobre todo en los bordes sin fusiones.

Luego tomé la otra imagen de una partitura y también seleccioné partes de ella e hice varias capas, algunas sin fusiones y otras con color más oscuro, borrando parte de los bordes con un pincel con textura para entremezclarlas con el resto de las imágenes.

En el centro del diseño coloqué la imagen de la ballena con fusión de color más oscuro y en dos rincones la imagen de los corales con fusión de color más claro. La imagen de los caballos la dividí en dos y dispuse las partes en dos capas con fusiones de color más oscuro y luz fuerte, borrando previamente bastante fondo.

Luego coloqué la guitarra y el piano en el diseño, en dos capas, con fusiones de color más oscuro y normal en lugares donde quedara bien con las partituras.

Finalmente trabajé la imagen del delfín, la dispuse en varias capas, una muy grande que da textura al diseño con la fusión de luz suave, dos en el centro que son las más importantes, con fusiones de luz focal y color más claro, borrando en esta última algunas zonas y luego en varias partes del diseño y en distintas posiciones y escalas coloqué el rostro del delfín con fusión siempre de luz focal.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

I recently discovered a channel, which I mentioned yesterday here on Hive, and not only did I like their work, the delicacy, organisation and creativity, but it is also very inspiring when you see the final result of the collages they make with so many materials. Thinking about that channel and those videos I saw, I decided to do something similar, but in digital form, to try something different for me.

So I started looking for images. I've always liked the technique of old, crumpled, stained papers, as if they were talking about the past, and I also like handwritten letters and sepia tones. That's why I looked for several images that tend to evoke thoughts such as memories, love letters and some details such as flowers and others, always referring to old letters. The important thing for me was to do something different from what I usually do, enjoy the process, and try out various tools within the Photoshop programme.

Recientemente descubrí un canal, del que hablé en el día de ayer aquí en Hive, que no sólo me gustó su trabajo, la delicadeza, organización y creatividad, sino que además es muy inspirador cuando se ve el resultado final de los collages que realiza con tanta cantidad de materiales y pensando en ese canal y esos videos que vi se me ocurrió hacer algo parecido, pero en forma digital, experimentar algo diferente para mí.

Entonces comencé a buscar imágenes, siempre me gustó la técnica de los papeles antiguos, arrugados, manchados, como si hablaran del pasado, como también me gustan las cartas escritas a mano y los tonos sepias. Es por eso que busque varias imágenes que tiendan a pensamientos como recuerdos, cartas de amor y algunos detalles como flores y otros, refiriéndome siempre a cartas antiguas. Los importante para mí era hacer algo diferente a lo que suelo hacer, disfrutar el proceso y probar varias herramientas dentro del programa de Photoshop.

Design process

The entire design was created in Photoshop CS6 without the use of AI, with eleven images distributed across 22 layers.

I created the background with the paint bucket tool on a layer that was blank and gave it a beige colour. On top of this layer, I placed the first piece of antique paper and gave it a soft light blend. Then, using the freehand lasso tool, I selected pieces of the image and texture, copied and pasted them into the design in two layers with a hard light blend, and then did the same with the second piece of antique paper, but in four layers and with a darker colour blend.

From the image of the writing, I selected three parts with the same tool as before and placed them in different parts of the design. I placed one of the flower images, the one with a transparent background, in the design in three layers in different positions. With the other flower image, I only made one layer with the darker colour blend.

Then I placed the stamp and seal in two layers and lightened one by adding more light. With the clock and the bicycle, I made one layer with each using the darker colour blend and finally selected the couple from the old image and placed it in the design with the darker colour blend, changing the tone slightly to reddish.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

Todo el diseño está realizado en Photoshop CS6 sin uso de IA con once imágenes distribuidas en 22 capas.

El fondo lo cree con el bote de pintura en una capa que estaba en blanco y le di un color beige. Sobre esta capa coloqué el primer papel antiguo y le di una fusión de luz focal. Luego seleccioné con la herramienta lazo a mano alzada trozos de la imagen e la textura, copié y pegué en el diseño en dos capas con fusión de luz fuerte y posteriormente hice lo mismo con el segundo papel antiguo, pero en cuatro capas y con la fusión de color más oscuro.

De la imagen del escrito seleccioné tres partes con la misma herramienta que antes y los coloqué en distintas partes del diseño. Coloqué una de las imágenes de flores, la que tiene fondo transparente y la coloqué en el diseño en tres capas en distintas posiciones. Con la otra imagen de flores sólo hice una capa con la fusión de color más oscuro.

Luego coloqué la estampilla y el sello en dos capas y a uno lo aclaré añadiendo más luz. Con el reloj y la bicicleta hice una capa con cada uno con la fusión de color más oscuro y finalmente seleccioné la pareja de la imagen antigua y la coloqué en el diseño con la fusión de color más oscuro y cambiándole un poco la tonalidad a rojiza.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

After comings and goings, multiple colours, possibilities, changes, crossroads and intersections, doors open, several doors or opportunities. Each door offers a path to follow and a choice must be made, and in order for it to be a good choice, it is good to know how to see inside each one. Each choice will bring changes, like butterflies flying, they announce that good things will come, as long as you know how to look inside with the eye that knows and sees everything, the wisdom of the soul.

One face is black and the other is white. Each choice brings a path where there will be a little bit of everything, but if we choose with that inner eye, there is a greater chance that the paths will be happy ones. The colours will be bright. Choosing the right door may take time, but the guide we have inside will always know what is best.

Después de idas y venidas, de múltiples colores, posibilidades, cambios y cruces y entrecruces de caminos se abren puertas, varias puertas u oportunidades. Cada puerta ofrece un camino a seguir y a elección ha de ser tomada, y para que sea una buena elección es bueno saber ver el interior de cada uno. Cada elección traerá cambios, como mariposas volando, ellas anuncian que lo bueno vendrá, siempre que se sepa mirar con el interior con el ojo que todo lo sabe y lo ve, la sabiduría del alma.

Un rostro negro y otro blanco, cada elección trae un camino en el que habrá de todo un poco, pero si elegimos con ese interior hay más probabilidades de que los caminos sean felices. Los colores serán brillantes. La elección de la puerta indicada puede llevar tiempo, pero la guía que tenemos dentro siempre sabrá qué es lo mejor.

Design process

The design was created entirely in Photoshop CS6 without the use of AI, with ten images distributed across 19 layers.

To create the background, I first used a pink image on which I placed another image with spots. To create an animation with different colours, I made four layers of the same image and applied the subtract, difference and focal light blends. These are then interspersed in the animation, representing the variety of colours on the paths.

Then I worked on two images, one of circles and another of fractals with overlay and focal light blends. On top of this, I placed the image of the abstract square, using it as doors, in three layers, with different positions and scales and the focal light blend. On top of this, I placed three more images, one of spheres, another of a triangle and one of an eye. The blends I used are: focal light, lighter colour and darker colour, respectively.

I arranged the butterfly in two layers, in different parts of the design with the lighter colour blend, and then I divided the image of the joined faces in half. I placed each part on both sides of the design, each in two layers, after erasing the outline so that it would not be so sharp. The blends used in the four layers were: focal light, normal, darker colour, and lighter colour.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

Para crear el fondo usé en principio una imagen rosada sobre la cual coloqué una en la que se ven manchas y para dar una animación con distintos colores hice cuatro capas de la misma a las que coloqué las fusiones de restar, diferencia y luz focal, entonces luego en la animación estas se intercalan, representando la variedad de color que tienen los caminos.

Luego trabajé dos imágenes, una de círculos y otra de fractales con fusiones de superponer y luz focal. Sobre esto puse la imagen del cuadrado abstracto usándola como puertas, en tres capas, con distintas posiciones y escalas y la fusión de luz focal. Sobre lo anterior puse tres imágenes más, una de esferas, otra de un triángulo y una de un ojo. Las fusiones que usé son: luz focal, color más claro y color más oscuro, respectivamente.

Dispuse la mariposa en dos capas, en distintas partes del diseño con la fusión de color más claro y luego dividí a la mitad la imagen de los rostros unidos. Cada parte las coloqué en ambos lados del diseño, cada una en dos capas, borrando previamente la línea del contorno para que no sea tan nítida. Las fusiones usadas en las cuatro capas fueron: luz focal, normal, color más oscuro y color más claro.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

A mind free from worries, stress and things to think about is able to fly further, and imagination flows in all directions, colours appear on the horizon and more creations come to life. This is how inner strength can gallop freely like a herd of wild horses that are free to explore new horizons, and this is also how butterflies project positive changes in life.

We often find ourselves trapped in certain thoughts and feel that we are caught up in a problem, but when that is released, the weight is no longer there and we fly higher.

La mente libre de toda preocupación, estrés y cosas en que pensar es capaz de volar más allá y la imaginación fluye en todas direcciones, los colores aparecen en el horizonte y más creaciones se hacen presentes. Es así como la fuerza interior puede galopar libremente como un grupo de caballos salvajes que son libres y pueden explorar nuevos horizontes y también es así como las mariposas proyectan cambios positivos en la vida.

Muchas veces nos encontramos como presos en determinados pensamientos y sentimos que estamos atrapados por algún problema, pero cuando eso se libera, el peso ya no es tal y se vuela más alto.

Design process

The design was created entirely in Photoshop CS6 without using AI, with nine images distributed across 18 layers.

To create the background, I first used a watercolour painting, over which I superimposed an image of a painting with a prominent yellow colour. I arranged this in three layers with the lightest colour blends, overlay and focal light. Then, on top of this, I placed an image with flower drawings in two layers with darker tone and colour blends.

Next, I placed an abstract image that I rotated, changed the position and scale of, and arranged in two layers with soft light and lighten blends. Then, on top of this, I placed the landscape image with focal light.

I made two layers of the butterfly, one of which will be seen at the end of the animation. The blends were hard light and multiply. I placed the image of the horses underneath in the design, after erasing the background and using spotlight.

Then I worked on the image of the dancer in four layers. One very large, below the layer of the horses and with a screen blend, two of the layers in a better size on each side of the design, which I inverted the colours in image-adjustments-invert and placed the darker colour blend on them. And from those same layers I made another larger one to place on top of the lighter one in the centre.

Finally, I worked on the image of the sparkles in two layers with darker colour blends and soft light.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

El diseño esta realizado completamente en Photoshop CS6 sin usar IA con nueve imágenes distribuidas 18 en capas.

Para crear el fondo, primero usé una acuarela de colores a la que le superpuse una imagen de pintura donde destaca el color amarillo. Ésta la dispuse en tres capas con las fusiones de color más claro, superponer y luz focal. Luego sobre esto puse una imagen que tienen unos dibujos de flores, en dos capas con fusiones de tono y color más oscuro.

Posteriormente coloqué una imagen abstracta que roté, cambié de posición y escala, la dispuse en dos capas con fusiones de luz suave y aclarar. Luego sobre esta puse la imagen del paisaje con luz focal.

De la mariposa hice dos capas, donde una de ellas se verá al final de la animación. Las fusiones fueron luz fuerte y multiplicar. Y la imagen de los caballos la coloque debajo en el diseño, borrando previamente el fondo y con luz focal.

Luego trabajé la imagen de la bailarina en cuatro capas. Una bien en grande, debajo de la capa de los caballos y con la fusión de trama, dos de las capas en tamaño mejor a cada lado del diseño a las cuales le invertí los colores en imagen-ajustes-invertir y les coloqué la fusión de color más oscuro. Y de esas mismas capas hice otra más grande para colocarla encima de la más clara que está en el centro.

Finalmente trabajé la imagen de los destellos en dos capas con fusiones de color más oscuro y luz suave.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

I have always loved cats, ever since I was born. I always felt a special connection with them and later I learned that they have a connection with the other plane as if looking into their eyes we can see what is beyond. They are the only animals capable of transmuting negative energy into positive, even for the Egyptians they were sacred animals. I think they can see things, entities that we don't see, they can even anticipate things. I think that's why I feel very connected.

They are protective, sweet, loving, magical, elegant, fascinating, mysterious. Sometimes when I describe them it seems that I am describing myself, even one of my animal spirits is a panther, that's why I have a black cat at home, my faithful protector. They are like a link between worlds, I have verified it in dreams, they are wonderful. This design is dedicated to them.

Siempre me han encantado los gatos, desde que nací. Siempre he sentido una conexión especial con ellos y más tarde descubrí que tienen una conexión con el otro plano, como si al mirarlos a los ojos pudiéramos ver lo que hay más allá. Son los únicos animales capaces de transmutar la energía negativa en positiva, incluso para los egipcios eran animales sagrados. Creo que pueden ver cosas, entidades que nosotros no vemos, incluso pueden anticipar cosas. Creo que por eso me siento muy conectada con ellos.

The design is made entirely in Photoshop CS6 without the use of AI with nine images distributed in 17 layers.

The background I created represents the universe and wisdom, over the first layer of the cosmos I placed another one with more reddish colours, erasing the big planet and with the fusion of focal light. Then on top of the previous ones I placed the image of the alien with the lighter colour fusion, but in the animation it will appear at the end, behind the cats and nebulae.

What I did next was to work on three images of cats in different layers. In the first case is a cat on its back, I arranged it in two layers with overlay and focal light blending and on top of it I put one of the nebulae, or rather part of it, on the cat's back, erasing the edges and with the lighten blending.

In the case of the second cat, the grey one, I arranged it on one side of the design in three layers with darker colour, luminosity and raster fusions and under these layers I placed part of the second nebula with the lighten fusion. The third cat I placed on the other side of the design, making the head bigger to make it stand out, in three layers with overexpose colour, focal light and normal mergers. On this one I made another layer equal to the second one of the red universe and I used part of it with the difference fusion to make the colours appear more extaordinary.

Finally, I worked on the image of the eye in three layers distributed in different positions within the design and between the previous layers as I thought best. The blending mode used was hard light.

El diseño está realizado íntegramente en Photoshop CS6 sin utilizar IA, con nueve imágenes distribuidas en 17 capas.

El fondo que creé representa el universo y la sabiduría. Sobre la primera capa del cosmos coloqué otra con colores más rojizos, borrando el gran planeta y con la fusión de la luz focal. Luego, encima de las anteriores, coloqué la imagen del extraterrestre con la fusión de colores más claros, pero en la animación aparecerá al final, detrás de los gatos y las nebulosas.

Lo siguiente que hice fue trabajar en tres imágenes de gatos en diferentes capas. En el primer caso se trata de un gato boca arriba, lo dispuse en dos capas con superposición y mezcla de luz focal y encima le puse una de las nebulosas, o más bien parte de ella, sobre el lomo del gato, borrando los bordes y con la mezcla de aclarado.

En el caso del segundo gato, el gris, lo dispuse en un lado del diseño en tres capas con color más oscuro, luminosidad y fusiones de trama, y debajo de estas capas coloqué parte de la segunda nebulosa con la fusión de aclarado. El tercer gato lo coloqué en el otro lado del diseño, agrandando la cabeza para que resaltara, en tres capas con color sobreexpuesto, luz focal y fusiones normales. En este caso, creé otra capa igual a la segunda del universo rojo y utilicé parte de ella con la fusión de diferencia para que los colores parecieran más extraordinarios.

Finalmente trabajé en la imagen del ojo en tres capas distribuidas en distintas posiciones dentro del diseño y entre las capas anteriores de acuerdo creí conveniente que quedaban mejor. La fusión usada fue luz fuerte.

Many times in life, things go wrong and you wonder if they will get worse or better. The truth is that whenever there are bad times, they pass and give way to good times. The problem is how long you have to wait and what your expectations are.

I was thinking about what is happening here at Hive and that things may not be what everyone expected, and there are high expectations in this regard. That is why I wanted to create a design in my own style with lots of color, hoping for the best, or better than what is happening right now. Everything can be improved with willpower and hard work or by making the necessary adjustments. But what is happening here happens in all areas of life. Everything happens, good and bad, I am a witness to that, it has happened to me many times in my life. That's why I want to give good vibes and lots of color on this day, watching the goals being reached.

Muchas veces en la vida las cosas van mal y uno se pregunta si esas cosas irán a peor o mejorarán. Lo cierto es que siempre que hay momentos malos en el tiempo, estos pasan y dan lugar a los buenos, el problema es el tiempo que uno tiene que esperar y las expectativas que uno tiene.

Pensaba en lo que pasa aquí en Hive y que las cosas tal vez no sean las que todos esperaban y hay mucha expectativa al respecto. Por eso quise realizar un diseño a mi estilo con mucho color esperando lo mejor, o mejor que lo que en este momento está pasando, todo se puede mejorar con voluntad y trabajo o haciendo los ajustes necesarios. Pero esto que pasa aquí sucede en todos los órdenes de la vida. Todo pasa, lo bueno y lo malo, soy testigo de ello, me ha ocurrido muchas veces en la vida. Por eso quiero dar en este día buenas vibraciones y mucho color, observando el llegar a las metas.

Design process

The design is made entirely in Photoshop CS6 without the use of AI with nine copyright-free images and 20 layers within the program.

I created the background with several abstract images. I arranged the first one in four layers, the first in its original size and the other three reduced by half in different positions within the design and with a darker color blend. I arranged the second one, which has a stain, in three layers, changing the color in image-adjustments-hue saturation, and I applied the focal light blend to all three.

Then I used an image with lots of curves or waves and applied the overlay blend. On top of this, I placed the image that looks like mountains, in two layers with luminosity and normal blends. Then I used the image that looks like waves of light, arranging it in two layers, with different positions and scales and with the focal light blend. For the image of the horse, I used one layer, previously erasing the background with the strong light blend.

Then I arranged the flowers in two layers, after erasing the background, in different parts of the design with multiply and darker color blends. Then I worked on the image of the woman's face in two layers with focal light and lighter color blends. Finally, after erasing the edges of the background, I worked on the image of the eye, in three layers in different positions and with the focal light blend.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño está realizado completamente en Photoshop CS6 sin uso de IA con nueve imágenes sin derechos de autor y en 20 capas dentro del programa.

El fondo lo cree con varias imágenes abstractas. La primera la dispuse en cuatro capas, la primera en tamaño original y las otras tres reducidas a la mitad en distintas posiciones dentro del diseño y con fusión de color más oscuro. La segunda que parece una mancha la dispuse en tres capas cambiándole el color en imagen-ajustes-tono saturación y a las tres les coloqué la fusión de luz focal.

Luego usé una imagen que tiene muchas curvas u ondas y le puse la fusión de superponer. Sobre esta coloqué la imagen que parecen montañas, en dos capas con fusiones de luminosidad y normal. Luego usé la imagen que parecen ondas de luz, la dispuse en dos capas, con posiciones y escalas diferentes y con la fusión de luz focal. Para la imagen del caballo usé una capa, borrando previamente el fondo con la fusión de luz fuerte.

Luego dispuse las flores en dos capas, borrando previamente el fondo, en distintas partes del diseño con las fusiones de multiplicar y color más oscuro. Luego trabajé la imagen del rostro de la mujer en dos capas con fusiones de luz focal y color más claro. Finalmente, borrando previamente los bordes del fondo, trabajé la imagen del ojo, en tres capas en distintas posiciones y con la fusión de luz focal.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

Every decision in life opens a new path, every attitude generates a possibility, a possible future, that's why it is so important what one thinks, says and does about it. The three things are related and if we let our inner self, our intuition, guide us, it will be the best key to make that path the best one for us.

On the other hand the ancient cultures had a knowledge that has been lost in time and they themselves spoke of this intuition as the most important thing. That is why I have related that intuition, that energy or the soul itself with the key that can open our eyes to the truth, to the right paths and choose the best for our life, we are the architects of our own life and responsible for it and what happens.

Cada decisión en la vida abre un nuevo camino, cada actitud genera una posibilidad, un futuro posible, por eso es tan importante lo que uno piensa, dice y las acciones al respecto. Las tres cosas están relacionadas y si dejamos que nuestro interior, la intuición, nos guie será la mejor llave para que ese camino sea el mejor para nosotros.

Por otra parte, las culturas ancestrales tenían un conocimiento que se ha perdido en el tiempo y ellos mismos hablaban de esa intuición como lo más importante. Por eso he relacionado esa intuición, esa energía o el alma misma con la llave que puede abrirnos los ojos a la verdad, a los caminos correcto y elegir lo mejor para nuestra vida, somos artífices de nuestra propia vida y responsables de ella y lo que pase.

Design process

The design is entirely done in Photoshop CS6 without the use of AI with nine royalty-free images and 16 layers.

For the background I chose the image of a scroll which I flipped 90 degrees so that it was horizontal and enlarged it to remove the white edges. Then on top of this layer I put the parchment again but without enlarging it so that the edges stand out and with the multiply blend.

On top of this I worked the image of the pyramids in three layers where in two of them I changed the colour in image, tone - saturation. The fusions used were superimpose and focal light. On top of that I put the image of the wall breakage in two layers where I erased part of it, the part behind the breakage and used the fusions of focal light and normal light.

Between the two previous layers I placed the door and the lock each one in a layer and with the darkest colour fusion. Matching the keyhole I placed the eye image on two layers with split and normal merges. On this last layer I only left the centre of the eye and erased the rest.

On the second layer of the break I placed the key with the darkest colour fusion and on this another layer of parchment with the multiply fusion. Then two layers with the second key and the hand, on one side of the design and with the weft and super put and finally a layer with the woman's face on the other side of the design with the darker colour fusion.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

El diseño está completamente realizado En Photoshop CS6 sin uso de IA con nueve imágenes sin derechos de autor y en 16 capas.

Para el fondo elegí la imagen de un pergamino a la cual volteé 90 grados para que quede en posición horizontal y la agrande para eliminar los bordes blancos. Luego sobre esta capa puse nuevamente al pergamino, pero sin agrandarla para que los bordes resalten y con la fusión de multiplicar.

Sobre lo anterior trabajé la imagen de las pirámides en tres capas donde en dos de ellas les cambié el color en imagen, tono - saturación. Las fusiones usadas fueron superponer y luz focal. Encima puse la imagen de la rotura de pared en dos capas donde borré parte de ella, la parde de detrás de la rotura y usé las fusiones de luz focal y normal.

Entre las dos capas anteriores coloqué la puerta y la cerradura cada una en una capa y con la fusión de color más oscuro. Haciendo coincidir con el ojo de la cerradura puse la imagen del ojo en dos capas con fusiones de dividir y normal. En esta última capa sólo dejé el centro del ojo y borré el resto.

Sobre la segunda capa de la rotura coloqué la llave con la fusión de color más oscuro y sobre ésta otra capa de pergamino con la fusión de multiplicar. Luego dos capas con la segunda llave y la mano, a un lado del diseño y con las fusiones de trama y super poner y finalmente una capa con el rostro de la mujer al otro lado del diseño con la fusión de color más oscuro.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

Three concepts came to my mind: woman profile, patterns and abstracts and I tried to unite those three concepts and also that intertwined they have a great meaning.

I didn't have anything planned but what I wanted was to look for textures and images that were different from each other, with different colours, some soft, some stronger, and that the textures contrast with each other like fabric, stone, paint and shapes like a mandala and 3D figures like cubes. I wanted to combine all that, and I did it by intuition, trying out positions, scales and fusions between the layers. I wanted a woman's profile, but at the same time with the vision of a cat.

In life there are different points of view or profiles and we come with certain patterns that we can change with a lot of work, but we can, and all that mixed with ancestral abstractions.

Tres conceptos vinieron a mi cabeza: perfil de mujer, patrones y abstractos y trate de unir esos tres conceptos además de que entrelazados tienen un gran significado.

No tenía nada planificado, sino que lo que quería era buscar texturas e imágenes distintas entre sí, con distintos colores, algunos suaves otros más fuertes y que las texturas se contrapongan como tela, piedra, pintura y formas como un mandala y figuras en 3D como los cubos. Todo eso quería combinarlo, y lo hice por intuición, probando posiciones, escalas y fusiones entre las capas. Quería un perfil de mujer, pero a la vez con la visión de un gato.

En la vida hay distintos puntos de vista o perfiles y venimos con ciertos patrones que podemos cambiar con mucho trabajo, pero se puede y todo eso mezclado con abstracciones ancestrales.

Design process

The design is made entirely in Photoshop CS6 without the use of AI with nine royalty-free images distributed in 18 layers.

For the background I took a paint texture to which I enhanced the colour and contrast and on top of this I placed the water image to which I applied the overlay blend. On top of this I placed two more layers, one with the fabric texture with the darker colour fusion and the cubes with the lighten fusion. On top of all this, in three layers, I placed the image of the rock texture in aerial view, I modified the position of two of them and used the fusion of focal light and soft light.

Then I worked on the image of the jellyfish and the mandalas in three layers each, giving them different position and scale and using the lighter colour fusions.

Then I worked on the image of the woman changing the position as if she was looking up a bit, in three layers. In one I left the face, in another the hair and in another the contour of the face and used the fusions of darker colour, lighter colour and soft light. On top of this I put another layer of the cloth texture with the overlay blend and finally I made a layer with the cat's eye in the position of the woman's face with the lightness blend.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

Para el fondo tomé una textura de pintura a la que realcé el color y contraste y sobre ésta coloqué la imagen del agua a la que le puse la fusión de superponer. Así mismo sobre esto puse dos capas más una con la textura de tela con la fusión de color más oscuro y la de los cubos con la fusión de aclarar. Sobre todo esto, en tres capas, coloqué la imagen de la textura de roca en vista aérea, modifiqué posición de dos de ellas y usé las fusiones de luz focal y luz suave.

Posteriormente trabajé la imagen de las medusas y de los mandalas en tres capas cada una, dándoles distinta posición y escala y usando las fusiones de color más claro.

Luego trabajé la imagen de la mujer cambiando la posición como si mirara un poco hacia arriba, en tres capas. En una dejé el rostro, en otra el cabello y en otra el contorno del rostro y usé las fusiones de color más oscuro, color más claro y luz suave. Sobre esto puse otra capa de la textura de tela con la fusión de superponer y finalmente hice una capa con el ojo de gato en la posición del rostro de la mujer con la fusión de luminosidad.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

When one has problems or worries, it often happens that time stops when we really want things to be solved quickly, that things happen and yet there is a time of waiting, planning, strategy or simply a time when we have to wait, just wait, because things do not depend on us, where we have already done what is necessary and we have to wait, but time does not seem to pass and it becomes a torture.

Other times things happen that we do not understand, good or bad things, that give joy or sadness, but time is the one that gives the answer to the why or what for of those events. Everything seems like a plan designed, perhaps by ourselves in advance, but we don't remember it. The only certainty is that with time one looks back and understands how the paths and circumstances came about and why nothing is random.

Design process

The design is entirely made in Photoshop CS6 with ten royalty free images distributed in 18 layers, AI free.

First I placed for the background a watercolour image on which I placed another one with a darker colour fusion. In this design I used a lot of filters to give the feeling of a painting and that it is old. On this layer I used the crazing filter.

Then I put an image of a forest with autumn colours, in two layers, with the same filter as the previous image, using the darker and darker colour fusions and on these layers I put the image of the snowy forest, also using the crazing filter, simulating that it is a painting and with the fusion of strong light. On top of this I placed the image of the crumpled paper, the least crumpled with the multiply blend, which darkens the design a little and gives it an antique style.

Then I worked on the image of the woman in four layers, using two filters, angular chunks and added borders, the latter in the last layer where only the eyes are. The fusions I used are: darker colour, soft light, lighter colour and normal.

On top of this I put two other images, the two of flowers with the quartered filter and in the second one also the added borders and the darker colour fusion mode. On two parts of the design I placed the butterfly in three layers, using the darken and multiply blends and the crazing filter.
Finally on the first layer of the woman I placed the crumpled and torn paper with the focal light fusion.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

Cuando uno tiene problemas o preocupaciones, muchas veces pasa que el tiempo se detiene cuando en realidad queremos que las cosas se resuelvan rápidamente, que las cosas pasen y sin embargo hay un tiempo de espera, de planificación, de estrategia o simplemente un tiempo en que hay que esperar, sólo esperar, porque las cosas no dependen de nosotros, donde ya hicimos lo necesario y hay que esperar, pero el tiempo pareciera que no transcurre y se vuelve una tortura.

Otras veces pasan cosas que no entendemos, cosas buenas o malas, que dan alegría o tristezas, pero el tiempo es el que da la respuesta del porque o el para que de esos sucesos. Todo parece un plan diseñado, quizá por nosotros mismos con antelación, pero no lo recordamos. Lo único cierto es que con el tiempo uno mira hacia atrás y comprende como se dieron los caminos, las circunstancias y porque nada es azar.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño está totalmente realizado en Photoshop CS6 con diez imágenes libres de derechos de autor distribuidas en 18 capas, libre de IA.

Primero coloqué para el fondo una imagen de acuarelas sobre la cual coloqué otra con la fusión de color más oscuro. En este diseño usé muchos filtros para dar la sensación de una pintura y de que ésta es antigua. En esta capa usé el filtro de cuarteado.

Luego puse una imagen de un bosque con colores otoñales, en dos capas, con el mismo filtro que la imagen anterior, usando las fusiones de oscurecer y color más oscuro y sobre estas capas puse la imagen del bosque nevado, también usé el filtro de cuarteado, simulando que es una pintura y con la fusión de luz fuerte. Sobre esto coloqué la imagen del papel arrugado, el menos arrugado con la fusión de multiplicar, lo que oscurece un poco el diseño además de darle un estilo antiguo.

Posteriormente trabajé la imagen de la mujer en cuatro capas, usando dos filtros, tazos angulares y bordes añadidos, este último en la última capa donde sólo están los ojos. Las fusiones que usé son: color más oscuro, luz suave, color más claro y normal.

Sobre esto puse otras dos imágenes, las dos de flores con el filtro cuarteado y en la segunda además el de bordes añadidos y el modo de fusión color más oscuro. En dos partes del diseño coloqué la mariposa en tres capas, usando las fusiones de oscurecer y multiplicar y el filtro de cuarteado.
Finalmente, sobre la primera capa de la mujer puse el papel arrugado y roto con la fusión de luz focal.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
