No imaginan lo feliz que me hace compartirles este Short de mi primera Sesión de Fotos como Modelo!! El día viernes tuvimos nuestra Sesión de Polas, fotos que sin falta debe tener un/a modelo, ya que ellas son nuestra carta de presentación ante las marcas y empresas para próximos trabajos. El outfit y estilismo es bastante sencillo y básico, ya que debemos mostrarnos lo más natural y reales posible. También tenemos la opción de hacer algunas fotos en traje de baño (en negro igualmente), yo quise aprovechar para tenerlas por si acaso, pero sinceramente no les tengo mucha fé porque no me encantó el traje de baño. Sin embargo, se que varias de las otras fotos me encantarán, y en si, la experiencia me encantó. Al principio, por alguna razón me dió un poquito de nervios y no sabía que poses hacer aunque tenía unas en mente jajaja, pero al final pude fluir.

You can't imagine how happy I am to share with you this Short of my first photo shoot as a model! On Friday we had our Polas Session, photos that a model must have without fail, as they are our letter of introduction to brands and companies for future jobs. The outfit and styling is quite simple and basic, as we have to look as natural and real as possible. We also have the option of taking some photos in a swimming costume (in black anyway), I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to have them just in case, but honestly I don't have much faith in them because I didn't love the swimming costume. However, I know that I will love some of the other photos, and I loved the experience. At first, for some reason I was a bit nervous and didn't know what poses to do even though I had a few in mind hahaha, but in the end I was able to flow.

Una de las cosas que deseaba desde hace tiempo era tener mi propio grupo de Bachata Lady Style, y este año por fin se hizo realidad!! Por acá esta muestra coreográfica para finalizar el nivel de iniciación de este maravilloso curso, que estoy impartiendo los días miércoles en mi amada Academia, Vizcaya Dance. En total son 11 hermosas chicas que me han estado acompañando (una de ellas no pudo ser parte del video), a las cuales les he agarrado un cariño inmenso, cada clase la hacen súper amena, nos divertimos y disfrutamos un montón. El proceso para este video también fue muy bonito, sacamos esta coreo en 5 semanas, las chicas se animaron a presentarla el 04/05 en un Social en la Academia donde obtuvieron su Certificado de Participación, y finalmente, grabamos este video con la ayuda de mi papá, @alejandroj.

La coreo sinceramente me gusta mucho, la canción fue escogida en conjunto y nos encanta porque tiene un ligero toque urbano y a la vez muy sensual. Quise que la temática fuese así, de fiesta, disco, inspirada un poco en el video, y de color morado en honor a Vizcaya Dance, jeje. Ya he mencionado antes que escojo el color en base a la canción y este fue una de las opciones, que considero quedó muy bien. Los tops los realizó @yulilemus, un modelo también escogido por todas que nos lució bastante (agradecidas contigo Yuli)... cuéntame, que tal te pareció la coreo? One of the things I've wanted for a long time was to have my own Bachata Lady Style group, and this year it finally became a reality! Here is this choreographic sample to finish the initiation level of this wonderful course, which I am teaching on Wednesdays at my beloved Academy, Vizcaya Dance. In total there are 11 beautiful girls who have been accompanying me (one of them could not be part of the video), which I have caught an immense affection, each class makes it super enjoyable, we have fun and enjoy a lot. The process for this video was also very nice, we made this choreo in 5 weeks, the girls were encouraged to present it on 04/05 in a Social at the Academy where they got their Certificate of Participation, and finally, we recorded this video with the help of my dad, @alejandroj.

I really like the choreo, the song was chosen together and we love it because it has a slight urban touch and at the same time it is very sensual. I wanted the theme to be like this, party, disco, inspired a bit by the video, and purple in honour of Vizcaya Dance, hehe. I've mentioned before that I choose the colour based on the song and this was one of the options, which I think looked great. Como muchos ya saben, estoy cursando una nueva etapa en mi vida, estoy formándome como Modelo! En mi perfil pueden ver posts de cada paso hasta ahora, desde el día que realicé el casting, donde gané la oportunidad de ser parte de Runway Academy con un descuento en la mensualidad del 60%; hasta lo que he visto y aprendido hasta ahora. El día de hoy quiero compartirte un poco de lo vivido en mi clase de ayer, viernes 11/05 en formato así, de mini vlog, buscaré de variar el contenido de modelaje en vlogs (porque nos mandan tareas en video, como este, por ejemplo) o fotos para Liketu dependiendo de la clase de hoy en adelante, porque en serio que estoy amando todo este proceso y quiero dejarlo inmortalizado por acá. En esta ocasión, tal como menciono en el video, trabajamos coordinación, control, equilibrio, devoluciones y Sello Runway (pose y caminata que caracteriza a la Academia) dentro de nuestra clase de Pasarela😍.

Además tuvimos una clase teórica de Maquillaje, donde repasamos un poco de historia que yo de verdad desconocía y quedé encantadata, y nos compartieron los productos impresindibles que debemos tener en nuestro kit de makeup y skincare básico. Amé cada instante como no imaginan, repito que estoy disfrutando y me siento muy feliz por haber tomado esta desición,,, me tomé el atrevimiento de colocar el clásico video que publica Runway por las historias de instagram después de la clase, para que vean un poco de como son las clases de Pasarela y como dice la profe, vean que aquí no es solo caminar y ser bonita, jeje😌. Cuéntenme que tal les pareció el vlog para interactuar un poquito, intentaré grabarles un poco más dentro de las clases para que vivas de cierta forma esto conmigo. As many of you already know, I'm going through a new stage in my life, I'm training as a Model! In my profile you can see posts of every step so far, from the day I did the casting, where I won the opportunity to be part of Runway Academy with a 60% discount on the monthly fee; to what I've seen and learned so far. Today I want to share with you a little bit of what I experienced in my class yesterday, Friday 11/05 in a mini vlog format, I will try to vary the content of modeling in vlogs (because they send us video assignments, like this one, for example). or photos for Liketu depending on the class from today onwards, because seriously I'm loving this whole process and I want to leave it immortalized here. On this occasion, as mentioned in the video, we worked on coordination, control, balance, returns and Seal Runway (the Academy's signature pose and walk) within our Catwalk class😍.

We also had a theory class on Makeup, where we went over a bit of history that I really didn't know and I was delighted, and they shared with us the essential products that we should have in our makeup kit and basic skincare. I loved every moment as you can not imagine, I repeat that I am enjoying and I am very happy to have taken this decision,,,, I took the liberty to post the classic video that Runway publishes on instagram stories after the class, so you can see a little of how are the classes of Pasarela and as the teacher say, see that here is not just walk and be prettys, hehe😌. Hoy celebro a mi más grande amor, a ese Arte para el cual nací y me ha acompañado durante toda mi vida. Lo que es en esencia y lo versátil a la vez, desde hace unos casi 6 años se ha convertido en mi gran amor, me apasiona, me hace vibrar, bien sea interpretando o cantando, y pues con ella quise honrar este día tan especial para todos los que amamos el baile. En la coreo, además de los pasos de bachata, también pueden ver pasitos de Tango y uno que otro movimiento de Ballet y Waacking; me gustó mucho el resultado, ya que pude expresar felicidad, amor y eterno agradecimiento... tu que opinas? Feliz Día para esos bailarines de la comunidad, les mando un fuerte abrazo, que la Danza siempre sea parte de nuestras vidas.

Today, April 29th, International Dance Day, I celebrate with this choreographic video of Bachata Sensual, with this song that I love because it honours it, and at the same time, allows me to merge movements of other styles. The latter being the reason why today, after going through several genres, I identify myself completely with Bachata, always looking to learn and improve in it.

What it is in essence and how versatile it is at the same time, for almost 6 years it has become my great love, I love it, it makes me vibrate, either interpreting or singing, and with it I wanted to honour this special day for all of us who love dancing. In the choreo, besides the bachata steps, you can also see some Tango steps and some Ballet and Waacking movements; I really liked the result, because I could express happiness, love and eternal gratitude... what do you think? Disfruto demasiado grabar videitos coreográficos, y este año me propuse a hacer más contenido de baile para mis RR.SS. En esta oportunidad les bailo una pequeña coreo de una de mis bailarinas favoritas de Bachata, Sara Panero, junto a la Academia online VdanceClub sacaron este Challenge por medio de Instagram para optar por una suscripción gratis de un año de formación! Es una gran oportunidad, y sea lo que sea, no quise dejar de intentarlo, porque la coreo esta súper bonita y el video también quedó bastante bonito, muy satisfecha con el resultado… qué tal te pareció? 🥰. I really enjoy recording choreography videos, and this year I decided to do more dance content for my PR. This time I'm dancing a little choreo from one of my favourite Bachata dancers, Sara Panero, together with the VdanceClub online academy they put out this Challenge through Instagram to qualify for a free one year training subscription! Hellooo, espero estés increíblemente bien, hoy te quiero compartir este video en mi primera Milongaaa!! Si no estás tan familiarizado con el término, es un género de música típico de Argentina, pero también se utiliza para describir a un clásico Social (como los de latino), donde se va a bailar únicamente Tango. Mis profes Alex y Nathalia me hicieron la invitación a esta, que fue temático del día de la mujer y por supuesto dije que si, sin ningún tipo de expectativas, cabe destacar. Para esta ocasión el lugar fue un Restaurante Llanero bastante lindo y nuevo de mi ciudad (Caracas), sus instalaciones me parecieron elegantes y la pista para bailar más que excelente. Fue para mi una noche muy amena y totalmente diferente, me sirvió de inspiración y también de aprendizaje a nivel de pasos y sensaciones, jeje.

For this occasion the place was a very nice and new Llanero Restaurant in my city (Caracas), its facilities seemed to me elegant and the dance floor was more than excellent. It was for me a very pleasant and totally different night, it served me as inspiration and also as a learning experience in terms of steps and sensations, hehe.

Lo que llamó mi atención es que la Comunidad Tanguera de aquí en Venezuela (me atrevo a generalizar) está conformado en su mayoría por personas mayores; quizás por esta razón no sea el ambiente preferido para jóvenes hoy día pero a mi sinceramente me encantó ver a abuelitos bailando tan pero tan bien, con elegancia, buen equilibrio, creatividad; llevándolo más allá, son personas con calidad de vida! Porque este género de baile particularmente desarrolla habilidades increíbles para mantener un buena longevidad, por lo que el solo apreciar sus bailes también fue una completa experiencia... espero les haya gustado mucho el video, coméntenme que tal les pareció para interactuar un poquito. What caught my attention is that the Tanguera Community here in Venezuela (I dare to generalize) is mostly made up of older people; perhaps for this reason it is not the preferred environment for young people today but I sincerely loved to see grandparents dancing so but so well, with elegance, good balance, creativity; taking it further, they are people with quality of life!
