Hoy, en este episodio n.º 5 de mi proyecto de podcast “Crecimientos sin Límites”, tocaré un tema muy recurrente y controversial en la actualidad. De hecho, es algo que evidenciamos a diario, sobre todo en nuestras redes sociales. He titulado este episodio “El engaño de la validación social”.

Comúnmente usamos nuestras redes sociales para compartir nuestros mejores momentos en familia, con amigos, en el colegio, en fiestas, viajes o simplemente para mostrar minuciosamente cada acción de nuestra cotidianidad. El caso es que muchos lo hacemos con la intención de compartir, pero otros lo hacen buscando validación, y es allí donde la persona comienza a caer en el engaño de la validación social.

Sentirnos bien no debe depender de cómo otros nos hagan cumplidos. Nuestro valor personal no se mide por los aplausos ajenos, sino por cómo nosotros mismos reconocemos y reflejamos ese valor, sin necesidad de ser validados por un tercero para sentirnos bien emocionalmente.

Hoy en día esto sucede con mucha frecuencia, especialmente en los jóvenes. Pasan horas y horas compartiendo todo lo que hacen en busca de validación, hasta el punto de sentirse aislados por la falta de reconocimiento en redes sociales. Se crean complejos por no ser el centro de atención e, incluso, muchos en esa búsqueda cometen actos imprudentes, denigrantes e irrespetuosos solo por llamar la atención de un público que ni siquiera conocen personalmente. Por eso, es importante cuidar nuestros principios y no dejarnos llevar por engaños pasajeros que, con el paso del tiempo, pueden convertirse en una adicción.

Happy Monday to everyone in the community. Today, in this fifth episode of my podcast project, "Limitless Growth," I'll be addressing a very common and controversial topic. In fact, it's something we witness daily, especially on social media. I've titled this episode "The Deception of Social Validation."

We commonly use social media to share our best moments with family, friends, at school, at parties, on trips, or simply to meticulously document every aspect of our daily lives. The thing is, many of us do it with the intention of sharing, but others do it seeking validation, and that's where people begin to fall into the trap of social validation.

Feeling good shouldn't depend on how others compliment us. Our personal worth isn't measured by the applause of others, but by how we ourselves recognize and reflect that worth, without needing validation from a third party to feel good emotionally.

These days, this happens very frequently, especially among young people. They spend hours upon hours sharing everything they do in search of validation, to the point of feeling isolated by the lack of recognition on social media. They develop insecurities for not being the center of attention, and many, in this pursuit, commit reckless, degrading, and disrespectful acts simply to attract the attention of an audience they don't even know personally. Therefore, it's important to safeguard our principles and not be swayed by fleeting illusions that, over time, can become an addiction.

Muchas veces, por ideologías hereditarias, por falta de amor propio o simplemente sin saber por qué, dejamos de lado nuestro bienestar, que es lo más importante. Como dice el dicho: si no te quieres a ti mismo, ¿cómo vas a querer a otros? Esta es la base fundamental para una construcción sana, para vivir libres, sin ataduras, sin prejuicios y, principalmente, sin miedos. Precisamente en este tema, el miedo es protagonista y epicentro sísmico en el área emocional.

Today, in this third episode of my podcast, Limitless Growth, a project I started a few days ago but had to pause for a while for various reasons, I'm returning to talk about a very common theme in our daily lives. A theme that often steals a significant portion of our lives.

I've titled this episode "The Prison of Disappointment." Often, due to inherited ideologies, a lack of self-love, or simply without knowing why, we neglect our well-being, which is the most important thing. As the saying goes: if you don't love yourself, how can you love others? This is the fundamental basis for healthy development, for living freely, without attachments, without prejudice, and, above all, without fear. And in this particular matter, fear is the protagonist and the seismic epicenter of our emotional lives.

La decepción duele, venga de donde venga. Si decepcionas a alguien, duele, y en la mayoría de los casos no queremos decepcionar a nadie. Pero, ¿qué pasa cuando nos decepcionamos a nosotros mismos? ¿Será que duele más? ¿Nos trae algún beneficio? ¿Nos hace vivir libres?

Buen día tarde o no noche para todos los compañeros de la comunidad @geekzone. Mi carrera como piloto en la escuadra Ferrari va mejorando. Después una tener una ultimas carreras en su mayoría pésimas esta vez en el gran premio de Italia dio un giro excelente. En el contenido anterior les compartí la prueba contrarreloj para decidir la posición de partida para esta carrera donde logré conseguir la séptima posición de partida, que por cierto me favoreció mucho para este gran premio de Italia.

Good morning/afternoon/evening to all my fellow members of the @geekzone community. My career as a driver with the Ferrari team is improving. After a string of mostly terrible races, this time at the Italian Grand Prix, things took an excellent turn. In my previous post, I shared the qualifying time trial to determine my starting position for this race, where I managed to secure seventh place, which, by the way, was a great advantage for this Italian Grand Prix.

Qué bueno que esta vez la condición climática favoreció mucho mi rendimiento en la carrera, tomando en cuenta que en las primeras posiciones de partida se encontraban pilotos que también lideran la tabla de clasificación como por ejemplo Lewis Hamilton, un excelente piloto. Aun así, logre conseguir un excelente resultado llegando en la segunda posición y tener la dicha de celebrar el podio, esta son buenas noticias para mi carrera como piloto de la Formula 1. Espero que en las próximas carreras me vaya muy bien.

It's great that the weather conditions favored my performance this time, especially considering that the front of the grid included drivers who are also leading the standings, like Lewis Hamilton, an excellent driver. Even so, I managed to achieve a fantastic result, finishing in second place and celebrating on the podium. This is great news for my Formula 1 career. I hope I do very well in the upcoming races.

Antes de esta carrera me encontraba en la posición nº 9 con tan solo 25 puntos acumulados en 7 carreras disputadas, algo bastante pésimo, pero con esta victoria logre sumar 18 puntos más para subir al puesto nº 7. Como les comento no fue fácil competir con Hamilton quien gano la carrera, por un momento lo tuve muy cerca pero también tenia el reto de cuidar mi posición porque a mis espaldas tenia nada mas y nada menos que a Fernando Alonso, quien estuvo siempre muy cerca y que después de pasar la bandera cuadros la diferencia de tiempo entre el y yo fue de 1.03 segundos.

Before this race, I was in 9th position with only 25 points accumulated in 7 races, which was quite terrible, but with this victory I managed to add 18 more points to move up to 7th place. As I mentioned, it wasn't easy competing with Hamilton, who won the race. Hola de nuevo estimados gamers de la comunidad @geekzone. Ayer les compartí un gameplay de mi carrera en el gran premio de Japón de la Formula 1, por cierto, carrera donde me fue bastante mal, partiendo en la posición nº 22 después de la prueba contrarreloj y en la carrera oficial llegando igual en la posición nº 22. Pero hoy todo ha salido mucho mejor, la carrera que verán a continuación es la prueba contrarreloj previa a la carrera oficial en mi siguiente compromiso en el gran premio de Italia.

Hello again, fellow gamers of the @geekzone community. Yesterday I shared a gameplay video of my race at the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix. It was a pretty bad race, by the way, where I started in 22nd position after the qualifying session and finished the official race in the same position. But today everything went much better. The race you're about to see is the qualifying session before the official race at my next event, the Italian Grand Prix.

Una carrera que complete en tan solo 1:33.668 minutos, a tan solo unos 0.933 segundos de diferencia del piloto Lewis Hamilton quien completo la vuelta en 1:32.735 minutos. Esto me permitió colocarme en la séptima posición de partida para la carrera oficial, esto será de mucha ayuda ya que seguramente podre conseguir un buen resultado si no cometo algún error de cálculo o algún accidente dentro de la pista.

I completed the lap in just 1:33.668 minutes, only 0.933 seconds behind Lewis Hamilton, who finished in 1:32.735. This secured me seventh starting position for the official race, which will be a big help as I'm sure I can achieve a good result if I avoid any miscalculations or accidents on the track.

It won't be an easy race, because I'll have some great riders in the first three starting positions, as you can see in the following image of the results after the time trial.

Nuevamente bajo condiciones de lluvia, una condición climática que hasta el momento no he podido dominar en este juego, pero aun así sigo intentándolo y dando lo mejor para ganar experiencia, como les he comentado en otras ocasiones el manejo en este juego es bastante complejo.

Again, it was in rainy conditions, a weather condition I haven't yet mastered in this game, but I'm still trying and doing my best to gain experience. Hoy me fue muy mal nuevamente llegando en la última posición en la carrera y sin sumar puntos, pero aun mantengo la posición nº 9 en el mundial de pilotos, así que tengo que seguir trabajando para mejorar. Lo cierto es que esta pista es muy difícil ya que tiene curvas prolongadas y exige mucha pero mucha concentración para mantener el monoplaza estable, si te descuidas de la nada caes en un derrape y quedas girando como trompo.

Today went very badly for me again, finishing last in the race and without scoring any points, but I'm still in 9th place in the drivers' championship, so I have to keep working to improve. The truth is, this track is very difficult because it has long corners and demands a lot of concentration to keep the car stable. If you're not careful, you can suddenly spin out and end up flipping like a top.

Otra cosa que me esta afectando mucho es el hecho de que antes de cada carrera que se participa en la prueba contrarreloj para definir las posiciones de partida en la carrera oficial también me ha ido mal, en casi todas las carreras he partido en los últimos puestos, y este es un juego donde partir en los primeros lugares es muy importante. Lo cierto es que todo esto me sirve de experiencia para que una vez que termine este mundial si sigo en la escuadra Ferrari o en otra pueda corregir los errores que cometo hoy y tener futuras mejoras dentro del juego.

Another thing that's really affecting me is the fact that I've also been doing poorly in the qualifying session before each race, which determines the starting positions for the official race. In almost every race, I've started at the back, and this is a game where starting near the front is crucial. The truth is, all of this is valuable experience so that once this championship is over, whether I stay with Ferrari or another team, I can correct the mistakes I'm making now and improve my performance in the game.

Después de una pésima participación en el Gran Premio de Rusia, donde partí desde la última posición y en esa misma llegué, además de que fue una carrera disputada bajo una fuerte lluvia, esta vez me fue mucho mejor en el Gran Premio ETIHAD AIRWAYS de Abu Dabi. Aunque en la prueba contra reloj nuevamente me fue mal, a pesar de salir desde la última posición logré terminar la carrera en la posición número 13.

Although I again struggled in the time trial, despite starting from last place, I managed to finish the race in 13th position.

Fue una carrera en una pista que exige mucha destreza y concentración, ya que cuenta con muchas curvas repentinas y solo un tramo de pista plana. It was a race on a track that demands a lot of skill and concentration, as it has many sudden corners and only one flat section. Saludos a los compañeros de la comunidad @geekzone. Hoy les comparto como me fue en el gran premio de Rusia de la Fórmula 1. La verdad fue una pésima carrera a pesar de haber comenzado muy bien posicionándome en puestos por debajo de la posición 15. Pero en realidad el factor clima no colaboro en mi carrera, ya que estaba lloviendo y el manejo se tornaba extremadamente difícil. También a esto le sumo que partí en la posición 22 debido a que en la carrera contra reloj para definir la salida también me fue mal. Sinceramente la lluvia no me favoreció en absolutamente nada.

Greetings to my fellow members of the @geekzone community. Today I'm sharing how my Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix went. It was a terrible race, despite a very good start, placing me well below 15th position. The weather definitely didn't help my race, as it was raining and the driving became extremely difficult. Adding to my trouble, I started 22nd because I also had a bad time in the qualifying session. Honestly, the rain didn't do me any favors whatsoever.

Me mantuve por unas cuantas vueltas en uno posición que al menos me daría un mejor resultado, pero un pequeño descuido, en realidad un descontrol en la velocidad y control del monoplaza permitió que el grupo que venia a mis espaldas para casi completo por delante de mí, esto por unos instantes me dejo casi de ultimo, pero después logre retomar la posición.

I held a position for a few laps that would at least give me a better result, but a small oversight, actually a lack of control in the speed and control of the car, allowed the group behind me to almost completely overtake me. This left me almost in last place for a few moments, but then I managed to regain my position.

Además de esto por uno cuando choques que tuve con otros vehículos tuve una penalización de 10 segundos lo que me afecto mucho al final de la carrera que a pesar de ir la posición 16 me desplazo al ultimo puesto. Al comienzo de mi carrera como piloto de tuve muy bueno resultados, pero cada vez más la competitividad aumenté y es más difícil posicionarse. Actualmente me encuentro en la posición nª8 del mundial de pilotos, el próximo compromiso será en Japón, espero me sea más favorable y también arrancar en una mejor posesión para tener algo de ventaja.

I've started my Formula 1 career. I'm playing F1 2014 and I've found it to be a fantastic and exciting game. I know there are much more recent versions, but my PC is low-spec and I have to adapt to the limitations.

I'm playing in career mode, where we develop as drivers and join a team to give our best on the impressive tracks alongside great competitors like Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, and many more. I'm one of the new Ferrari drivers and my goal is to gain prestige and establish myself as a top F1 driver.

He comenzado mi carrera como piloto de la Fórmula 1. Estoy jugando la versión F1 2014 y me he encontrado con un juegazo maravilloso y emocionante. Sé que hay versiones mucho más actuales, pero mi PC es de bajos recursos y toca adaptarnos a las condiciones.

Estoy jugando en el modo trayectoria, donde nos desarrollamos como pilotos y nos unimos a una escudería para dar lo mejor en las imponentes pistas junto a grandes competidores como Hamilton, Fernando Alonso y muchos más. Lo cierto es que soy uno de los nuevos pilotos de Ferrari y mi objetivo es ganar prestigio y consolidarme como un gran piloto de la F1.

This first race was the Austrian Grand Prix. It's not one of the most difficult tracks, and I think it went very well, or benefited me quite a bit, for my first race. But I will say that there will be many challenging tracks. I also like that we have changing weather conditions: one day a track might be dry and easy to drive, and another day it might be wet or even a heavy downpour that makes gameplay difficult. This brings us much closer to the reality of this motorsport.

Esta primera carrera fue el Gran Premio de Austria. No es una de las pistas más difíciles y creo que estuvo muy bien, o me benefició bastante, para ser mi primera carrera. Pero sí les digo que habrá muchas pistas desafiantes. También me gusta que contamos con cambios en los escenarios climáticos: hoy una pista puede estar seca y fácil de conducir, y otro día puede haber humedad o incluso un fuerte aguacero que dificulte la jugabilidad. Esto nos acerca mucho más a la realidad de este deporte de motores.

Actualmente estoy jugando en la segunda ciudad, ya que en la primera prácticamente logré el objetivo y conseguí mi anillo por completar todos los trofeos. Ahora voy a hacer lo mismo con la ciudad que recién he desbloqueado.

Cabe destacar que aquí podemos ganar nuevos tacos de pool o mejorar los que ya tenemos para aumentar su potencial dentro del juego. Hay torneos, eventos y muchas cosas más, como ganar cajas gratis cada cierto tiempo donde conseguimos mejoras. Y por supuesto, no podemos dejar de lado el ranking, que es uno de los motivos por los cuales alguien se sumerge en un juego online.

I'm currently playing in the second city, since I practically achieved my goal in the first one and got my ring for completing all the trophies. Now I'm going to do the same with the city I just unlocked.

It's worth noting that here you can win new pool cues or upgrade the ones you already have to increase their potential in the game. There are tournaments, events, and much more, such as winning free crates periodically that contain upgrades. And of course, we can't forget the rankings, which are one of the main reasons why people get involved in online games.

Después de encontrar a mi oponente de forma aleatoria en el servidor comenzó la partida. En mi primer golpe metí dos bolas de series diferentes: una rayada y una lisa, por lo que debí tirar nuevamente para definir con cuál tipo de bola jugar el resto de la partida. También resalto que al estar en la modalidad bola 8, esta debe dejarse para meterla de última, después de terminar nuestra serie (rayadas o lisas). After finding my opponent randomly on the server, the game began. On my first shot, I pocketed two balls from different sets: one striped and one solid, so I had to shoot again to determine which type of ball to play with for the rest of the game. Debido a que el servidor te busca jugadores de forma aleatoria, puede que te topes con un jugador más experimentado y de un nivel máximo comparado con el nuestro. Esto me parece bastante interesante. En esta ocasión, la verdad no me tocó un oponente tan bueno. Siento que jugó por jugar, falló muchos tiros que estaban super fáciles o simplemente no se le dio la partida.

Because the server matches you with random players, you might run into someone more experienced and at a higher level than you. I find that quite interesting. This time, though, I didn't get a very good opponent. I feel like they were just playing for the sake of playing, missing a lot of easy shots, or maybe they just weren't having a good game.

I recently downloaded Vortex 9, an online shooter game I found on the Play Store. In this game, we find different modes as we advance through the levels, there's a shop for purchases, we can edit our character, upgrade weapons, and more. This game is really dynamic, and graphically, I think it's very good. What I like most about the game is its visual aspect, in terms of graphics and effects during the matches, and of course, its fluidity.

Recientemente me descargue Vortex 9, un juego de disparos online que conseguí en la Play Store. En este juego encontramos diferentes modos a mediada que avanzamos de nivel, tenemos tienda para compras, podemos editar nuestro personaje, mejorar armas, entre otras cosas. La verdad este juego es muy dinámico y gráficamente me parece muy bien, lo que mas me gusta del juego es su parte visual en cuanto a gráficos y efectos durante las partidas, y por supuesto su fluidez.

As with every game at the beginning, as we adapt to the mode we improve. The first games didn't go very well for me, but in this one I'm sharing with you, I achieved first place in the "Violent" mode, which by the way I unlocked very recently.

Como en todo juego al comienzo, a medida que vamos adaptándonos a la modalidad vamos mejorando, en las primeras partidas no me fue muy bien, pero en esta que les comparto logre el primer lugar en le modo "Violencia", que por cierto lo he desbloqueado hace muy poco.

When I had been playing for a while I saw that there is a type of egg that must be selected to hatch it, I still don't know what reward it gives when you open it, since while I was playing this game there were a few minutes left, this game is very entertaining so I will share my progress in future posts.

Cuando tenia algun rato jugando vi que hay una especie de huevo que se debe seleccionar para eclosionarlo, no se todavía que recompensa da al abrirlo, ya que mientras jugaba esta partida aun faltaban unos minutos, esta muy entretenido este juego asi que les compartiré mi progreso en futuros post

For now, I will continue to familiarize myself more with the game. The truth is that its fluidity is excellent, which is what attracts me the most. It is very light for the device, colorful, simple, and this type of game, being online, always has updates, seasons, and that kind of thing, so for me it is 10 out of 10.

Por lo pronto siguiere familiarizándome mas con el juego, lo cierto es que su fluidez esta excelente, es lo que mas me atrae, es muy liviano para el dispositivo, colorido, sencillo y este tipo de juegos al ser online siempre cuenta con actualizaciones, temporadas y ese tipo de coas, asi que para mi 10 de 10.

Last week I was reminiscing about those moments from my teenage years back in the 2000s. I remember when we would organize ourselves into small groups to go to a cybercafe, as we call it in Venezuela, or a video game arcade to be more general, and we would have a great time playing Counter-Strike.

La semana pasada estuve recordando aquellos momentos de mi adolescencia por allá en los años 2000. Recuerdo cuando nos organizábamos en pequeños grupos para ir a un Cyber como lo conocemos en Venezuela o una sala de videojuegos para ser mas genérico, y pasábamos un buen rato jugando al Counter Strike.

So I downloaded the game again, in its 1.6 version, that version from that time, since we know that today video games like this have evolved tremendously, but I wanted to remember that unforgettable gaming era for many of us who barely had a basic computer, with few resources in both software and hardware, and also not all of us had the opportunity to have even a basic computer.

Even though it's the old version, I honestly didn't like the look of some of the weapons much back then, so I wanted to give it a different touch and downloaded a weapon pack to give it a better graphical appearance.

Así que me descargué nuevamente el juego, en su versión 1.6, aquella versión de esa época, ya que sabemos que hoy en día los videojuegos como este han evolucionado de una manera tremenda, pero quise recordar esa época gaming inolvidable para muchos que apenas teníamos un computador básico, con pocos recursos tanto en software como hardware, y además no todos teníamos la oportunidad de tener un computador así sea básico.

A pesar de que es la versión antigua sinceramente la apariencia de algunas armas no me gustaban mucho en ese entonces, así que quise darle un toque diferente y descargué un pack de armas para darle una mejor apariencia grafica.

In this game it is set for 7 rounds, meaning the first team to reach 7 rounds wins the game. I played it on a map called "Battle" which I really like because it's a very short map. You literally start the game with the enemies already in front of you. I find it more fun and dynamic to play on short maps. I usually play as terrorists. I remember when we played with my friends from high school or the neighborhood we would argue about which side we wanted to play on. I don't know why, but few people like to play as the counter-terrorists (police).

En esta partida la configura para 7 rondas, es decir el primer equipo en llegar a 7 rondas conseguidas gana la partida, y lo jugué en un mapa llamado “Batalla” que me gusta mucho ya que es un mapa muy corto, literalmente comienzas la partida y ya tienes a los enemigos al frente, se me hace mas divertido y dinámico jugar en mapas cortos. Comúnmente juego con los terroristas, recuerdo que cuando jugábamos con los compañeros del liceo o del barrio nos discutíamos el bando en el que queríamos jugar, no sé porque, pero a pocos les gusta jugar con el bando de los anti-terroristas (policías).

On this map, we start with a regular pistol, but on the ground, there are only two types of weapons we can pick up. We can also pick up bombs. The map is divided in two by an armored wall that can only be breached with the Sniper. I don't really like this map because we'd win too easily. So, I prefer close combat, since there's an entrance where we can come face to face and cause a massacre.

En este mapa comenzamos con una pistola común, pero en el suelo hay solo dos tipos de armamento que podemos recoger, también podemos recoger bombas. En mapa esta dividido en dos, por un muro blindado al que solo puede ser traspasado con el Sniper, pero la verdad en este mapa no me gusta porque ganaríamos muy fácil, así que prefiero el enfrentamiento cuerpo a cuerpo ya que hay una entrada donde podemos vernos cara a cara y formar una masacre.

En este podcast de hoy quiero mostrar mi punto de vista referente a los cambios que al parecer nunca llegan, me refiero a los cambios externos, por ejemplo: política, justicia social, justicia laboral, matrimonial, etc. Siento que el no entender la estrategia de aplicar los cambios nos esta llevando a la confusión del entendimiento de la vida, de las relaciones humanas, de la esencia de vivir feliz no a costillas de otros sino por nuestros propios medios.

Ocasionalmente me doy un tropezón con esta falta de entendimiento de los cambios, siempre me pregunto ¿Por qué tal persona es así? ¿Por qué hace esto? ¿Por qué hace aquello? Y peor aún, ¿Por qué no lo hace como lo hago yo? ¿Porque no piensa como pienso yo? Por esto me vi motivado a hablar sobre esto en el podcast, porque me he dado cuenta que me falta nutrirme de entendimiento para poder encontrar el equilibrio entre las diferentes formas de actuar y ver la vida de cada quien.

In today's podcast, I want to share my perspective on the changes that seemingly never come. I'm referring to external changes, for example: politics, social justice, labor justice, marital justice, etc. I feel that not understanding the strategy of implementing changes is leading us to a confusion in our understanding of life, of human relationships, of the essence of living happily not at the expense of others but by our own means.

Occasionally, I stumble upon this lack of understanding of changes. I always ask myself, "Why is this person like this? Why do they do this? Why do they do that? Para el tema de hoy como estreno del podcast, tendremos " Querernos sin pedirle permiso a nadie" Un tema que considero relevante, hoy en día la validación externa, miedos y falta de conocimiento en crecimiento personal no ha llevado a dejar de un lado la verdadera esencia del amor propio. Esto no quiere decir que no sea importante el amor al prójimo, pero ya lo dice el dicho, sino nos amamos nosotros mismos como amaremos a otros, entonces la tarea es entender la esencia del amor propio.
